First held in England in 1975, the ICC Cricket World Cup is one of the premier international one-day cricket tournaments, featuring national teams from around the world; including arguably sport’s biggest-ever rivalry, that of India and Pakistan. The first and second semi-finals will be held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and Eden Gardens in Kolkata respectively, while the final will take place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The Indian team, playing in front of their home fans, are the favorites to win, with England and Australian teams in fierce competition to take the title.
