Teen held with over 400 grams of marijuana – Medical Marijuana Program Connection

A 19-year-old is expected to appear before an Arima Magistrate today after he was found with 464 grams of marijuana.

The legal limit in this country under current laws for possession is 30 grams per person.

At about 4 pm on Saturday, a team of officers from the Western Division Task Force led by Insp Grant and Cpl Dominique executed a search warrant at a home along Aboud Circular where the drugs were found.

The teenager, who was in the home at the time, was arrested.

He was taken to the St James police station where he was questioned before being charged by PC Peters.
