Tarrant County sheriff’s deputies shot a man in a Haslet residence late Friday, officials said in a statement.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 14000 block of Oak Bark Drive at about 10:50 p.m, according to the statement.

When deputies arrived, they detained a man and shot a second man inside the residence. Deputies immediately provided first aid, and the injured man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, officials said.

No other details about the circumstances leading to the shooting were available Saturday.

The deputies have been placed on administrative leave in accordance with department policies, officials said. The Texas Rangers and the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office will each conduct an investigation.
