Your weekend is here, Tampa Bay, and here’s a look and the news and what events are going on in the area.
This weekend will feature storms forming later in the day that will move west each night toward the Gulf.
Saturday will start with sunny skies followed by building clouds in the afternoon and a 40% chance of scattered storms late in the afternoon to evening.
Any storms that form will all have a westward movement toward the Gulf. Highs will reach the low to mid 90s.
Sunday will be similar with PM storms moving westward toward the Gulf.

You will join expert guide Ace Chapman and learn all about Tarpon Springs haunted locations. The tour lists areas like the Train Depot, Meres Building, Cheney House and Louise’s Saloon.

Gulfport Night Market | 5 PM – 9 PM: If you’re looking for an evening market, give this one a try. You can expect local artists, small businesses, crafts, jewelry, pet products and more. - Disney’s Newsies Jr. at Lakeland Community Theatre | 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM | $12 for kids. $15 for adults: Disney’s Newsies Jr. is a version of the 2012 Broadway musical, based on the 1992 film. When powerful newspaper publishers raise prices at the newsboys’ expense, the charismatic Jack Kelly rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions. Together, the newsies learn that they are stronger united and create a movement to fight for what’s right.

In honor of the 22 veterans that lose their lives to suicide every day, the Lightning Warriors will play 22 hours of hockey. The event’s goal is to raise awareness and funding for veterans.
