    Lulu Simon

Taking the spotlight first, the darling Lulu Simon proved to be the perfect opener for the night! With her stunning voice and charismatic presence, she had the entire venue captivated from the moment she walked out on stage. Her set featured her newest single, ‘Summer Dog,’ which beautifully showcased her unique ability to create folk-pop music that tugs at your heartstrings while still delivering infectious, sing-along melodies.

Lulu writes deeply personal songs, leaning into the folk-pop genre with a sincerity that echoes the style of artists like Gracie Abrams—if you’re a fan of heart-wrenching lyrics delivered over polished pop production, you’ll definitely love Lulu! She set an incredible, heartfelt tone for the rest of the evening.

Our favorite Lulu Simon songs: ‘Not Crying Anymore,’ ‘Feel Better,’ and ‘Strangers.’

    Zach Hood

The stage quickly transformed for the next act, and as Zach Hood stepped into the spotlight, the mood shifted to a high-octane pop vibe. Starting with his 2021 hit, ‘Pink Ferrari’ was the perfect choice! Throughout his entire performance, he maintained a genuine, magnetic stage presence that kept the energy up, with the enthusiastic fans right there with him for every beat and lyric.

We might not have been familiar with Zach Hood before, but the strength of that set changed everything. We left as fans and immediately added him to our ‘On The Rise’ watchlist! His performance was a highlight and proved that he’s an artist you need to keep your eye on.

Our favorite Zach Hood songs: ‘never knew a heart could break itself,’ ‘Middle of Nowhere,’ and ‘Beautiful As You.’

    Aidan Bissett

We didn’t think the energy could get any higher, but when Aidan Bissett walked on stage, we were pleasantly shocked! The way Aidan commands the stage is absolutely brilliant, and we were pretty much in awe of him the entire time. His set was a masterclass in modern indie-pop performance—a perfect blend of polished musicality and raw, unbridled rock star charisma that left the audience screaming for more long after the final chord faded.

Our favorite Aidan Bissett songs: ‘Twenty Something,’ ‘More Than Friends,’ and ‘Tripping Over Air.’

5 Tracks That Inspired Zach Hood

In a crowded field of young pop artists, Zach Hood stands out.

In just a couple of years, the Alabama native has built an entire world of pastel aesthetics, illustrated cover art, and songs perfect for a late night at home. It’s not an attempt to jump on the sadboi trend. It feels genuine, and fans have followed. “Isabelle” is his most popular track, but several of his songs have more than two million streams. A catchy hook can land an artist a hit. It takes purpose to build an entire catalog.

It may be no coincidence that Hood’s career took off following the pandemic. His lyrics address isolation and the need for human connection. But he extends beyond cozy bedroom beats. His EP BLOSSOM opens with “i ain’t rich, girl,” a guitar-driven reimagining of Hall and Oates’ “Rich Girl.” Starting with hand claps, “when she was mine” ditches the pop sound for sing-along back porch folk.
