The Fine Print

• $250 new membership benefit eligible to members who have not held a Blue membership within the previous 12 months.
• Vista Savings account required to earn the bonus.
• To redeem must bring in or mention the offer.
• Minimum $500 aggregate direct deposit must be credited to a NOVA Perks™ checking account in the first 90 days of membership and accounts must be maintained in good standing through the qualifying period for benefit eligibility.

Our Verdict

This sometimes gets increased to $300/$400 for Black Friday so I’d recommend just waiting for a bigger offer to return.

Our Verdict

Previously this was available nationwide, but looks like you need to open in branch now and branches are only in CO & WY. If anybody gets online opening to work let me know in the comments. Blue FCU is also exceptionally ChexSystems sensitive, ruling out the bonus for many.  The rule seems to be that if you’ve had more than three new accounts in the last 6 months you’ll be denied.

Bonus itself is great if you meet the chexsystems requirements and we will add this to the best checking bonuses.
