At first sight, this piece is pure glamour—the density is incredible, full and voluminous, clearly living up to that 200%/250% density promise. The styling is impeccable, with each curl perfectly formed and ready to make a statement.

Trying on the unit she was absolutely gorgeous. This particular unit features that genius drawstring mechanism that allows you to tighten or loosen the wig to your exact discretion, which is honestly a major plus that sets it apart from the competition.

The Fit

At first fitting, those curls were extra tight. As efficient as a pre-cut lace would seem—meaning a lace wig whose perimeter already comes cut to fit around your forehead naturally—sometimes the cut may not favor your specific face frame. (For example, if you already have a box-shaped face, you may want to avoid a boxy pre-cut lace, which is what I found true on this unit.) Nowadays, wig enthusiasts are shaping their lace to mimic more of a natural hairline that may include a widow’s peak, and or more jagged instead of rigid hair line, so definitely keep that customization option in mind.

While the knots on the unit claim to be bleached, they honestly do require more bleaching because they are quite noticeable and need that seamless blend for a natural look. While the hair claims to be 100% human, it does feel like a sophisticated blend of synthetic hair that can be managed as human hair and actual human hair strands. The terms in which a company can list hair as human may differ significantly. The hair extension and wig industry is often described as the “Wild West” because, unlike other consumer goods, there is a lack of specific, industry-wide standards and regulations that dictate what can be called “human hair.” There is no mandate.

The Verdict

With all this in mind for the wig specifically, I would absolutely say this is a stunning unit to have for exactly what I mentioned—luxury events where you need to make that unforgettable entrance. To have a piece so glamorously full of bouncy, professionally styled curls is honestly a brilliant move for your hair arsenal.

My favorite part of the wig is the dark drawstring that comes pre-installed in the nape of the wig because having the ability to tighten or loosen with a drawstring security is such a valuable plus and not one many full wigs have installed.
