While comfort has always been a key requirement when shopping for bras, it seems that now more than ever, it’s at the forefront of our minds when buying anything. Whether it’s loungewear, shoes, or even trend pieces, for the majority of us who are spending more time at home post pandemic, there seems to be no logical reason to wear anything that doesn’t feel as good as it looks. And while I know a lot of women who are taking advantage of this chance to go predominately braless, I know there must be others out there who, like me, are actually in the market for a few comfortable options.
With that in mind, I reached out to friends and colleagues to see what styles they recommend for that barely-there feeling, then also spent quite a bit of time stalking sites such as Nordstrom, Amazon, and Shopbop for the bras that have the best reviews with comfort specifically mentioned throughout. The result? Twenty-five can’t-go-wrong options for every shape, preference, and budget. To see them all for yourself and shop along the way, just keep scrolling.
I don’t know about you, but I associate Olivia Rodrigo’s style with two things: Dr. Martens combat boots and platform heels. She’s such a dyed-in-the-wool fan of the trends that it’s actually surprising to see her in a different style. So when she was photographed in Los Angeles, I instantly took note of her very trendy Mary Jane flats.
All of Rodrigo’s other signature outfit elements were there: a 2000s-inspired low-rise miniskirt (I could have sworn I owned an identical one by Abercrombie & Fitch in 2004) as well as school-uniform-esque high socks and a crop top. As we’ve reported, Mary Janes and ballet flats have both seen a huge resurgence lately. They’re arguably some of the most timeless shoes around, but we simply can’t ignore a massive uptick in popularity, now can we? Scroll down to see how Olivia Rodrigo styles Mary Jane flats.
Olympia Gayot, J.Crew’s head of women’s and kids design, knows a thing or two about color. Prior to joining J.Crew in 2010, Gayot attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she studied fine art and painting. After graduating, Gayot painted commissions and simultaneously designed and styled for brands on the side.
Gayot brings her love of art and color composition into designing bold trousers, coats, and everything in between at J.Crew. “I’m always going to gallery openings or shows to keep myself interested in what’s going on and aware of what’s happening in the contemporary world,” Gayot said.
Not only does Gayot bring her artistic eye to design, but she’s also always thinking ahead when it comes to what’s going to inspire the next season’s collection. “I wish I could say it was one or two things that inspire me, but it’s really just so many different things, ” Gayot said. “It’s about connecting those dots together and creating a story.” In the latest episode of Who What Wear With Hillary Kerr, Gayot shares how she landed at J.Crew, the pieces that were her favorite to design, and more.
If you’re a creature of habit, especially when it comes to online shopping, then I have a hunch that Amazon, Nordstrom, and H&M are among some of your most frequented retailers. While we are always encouraging brand exploration and supporting smaller businesses, sometimes you just crave the comfort of the familiar, and today, that’s exactly what you’ll get.
Ahead, I singled out seven major fall trends that are stocked at the three aforementioned retailers: Amazon, Nordstrom, and H&M. From those chunky loafers everyone’s wearing all over Instagram to the most stunning (and affordable) faux-leather pieces you ever did lay your eyes on, I have a hunch you’ll leave here with three full carts and a smile on your face.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been playing Taylor Swift’s new album, Midnights, on repeat since it debuted. While “Karma” and “Anti-Hero” promptly went viral on TikTok—and pretty much everywhere—it’s “Vigilante Shit” that I predict will be stuck in my head from now until eternity. In particular, these lines: “They say looks can kill, and I might try. I don’t dress for women. I don’t dress for men. Lately, I’ve been dressing for revenge.”
If a new Swift song has a fashion element to it, I certainly won’t be passing up the opportunity to write about it. Below, I’ve rounded up five runway trends from the fall/winter 2022 and spring/summer 2023 shows that are fine places to start if you’re ready to dress for revenge. Remember: Don’t get sad—get even.
Buying underwear is perhaps the most personal shopping experience of them all, especially when it comes to the comfy, practical pairs you’re going to be wearing day in and day out. (I love you, lacey lingerie, but not all the time.) That’s probably why finding pairs that click with your body—the kinds that feel weightless when you put them on and stay that way throughout the day, no matter what your schedule is—can be so difficult.
Simply put, there are far too many fabrics, cuts, brands, and more to wade through in order to find your just-right pairs—and no time to waste. That’s why I’m here to play assistant. I, as a fashion editor who has tried on and tested out more pairs of underwear than I’d like to admit, compiled a list of all the absolute MVPs of the panty department, from the best simple G-string to the best cotton brief. I even included the pairs with the most hype in fashion (shout-out to Miu Miu). So go ahead and find your perfect underwear sans the hassle below.
I don’t know about all of you, but I still get a rush seeing Meghan Markle in her new, extremely low-key environment in California. After years of strict dress codes at formal engagements, a sighting that involves the Duchess of Sussex relaxing with friends in what can only be described as “California casual” attire is a breath of fresh air.
For her most recent outing—a shopping trip around Montecito and Santa Barbara—Markle chose a strapless jumpsuit from Malia Mills, a straw hat from Cuyana, and a dark-green Lauren Ralph Lauren knit tied effortlessly around her shoulders. She finished off the daytime look with a Chloé bucket bag, Valentino sunglasses, and, chicest of all, a pair of flat sandals from Emme Parsons with a loop around the toe adorned with a gold, jewelry-like bauble. Think of the shoes as a modern-day take on the toe ring, just a thousand times more buy-worthy.
Clearly, the impeccable sense of style Markle displayed back in the UK hasn’t skipped a beat. All it’s done is adjust to her new, more chilled-out surroundings in California. Shop the duchess’s casual-chic footwear style below.
The new range is filled with pretty pieces that really speak to me. I’m talking about stunning separates in delicious hues (lots of purple!), smart shirting, and gorgeous knits. In fact, some of the items in the drop could actually become new wardrobe staples given their versatile nature. Furthermore, many of the finds are already on sale at 40% off with the code SHOPFALL through October 31.
My mom, Nancy, recently messaged me that it was time for her to clean out her closet. While she has a range of timeless pieces that will remain staples, she knew there were a few—as she said—”meh items” that needed to go. While she has a strong sartorial eye, she wanted a gut check on whether or not the items she wasn’t wearing as much should be donated or saved.
Given that we’re not near each other right now, I had her text me the pieces she wasn’t feeling for her own personal style. I then responded with either “purge” or “put back.” While she didn’t necessarily need to replace the “no” items with another forward item, she was interested in hearing my thoughts on trends to consider down the road.
I thought you may be interested in said items, so I rounded up a few of the items my mom is getting rid of along with some visual inspo from cool fashion girls highlighting the trend counterparts that could be worth adding to her wardrobe when she’s ready. I also included her feedback on each trend. As she noted, she’s into the pieces in question because they could work for anyone at any age (including herself at 60 years old). Keep scrolling for a bit of closet-cleanout inspiration.
If there’s one thing you can count on at Who What Wear, it’s getting all the best celebrity outfit credits. This has been our bread and butter for over a decade, and even a wildly out-of-the-ordinary year won’t slow us down. Some celebrities still dress to the nines for virtual TV show appearances, while others wear laid-back outfits for coffee runs or school pickups. Whatever celebrities are doing, we’re glad we can still delight in their outfits and enjoy a bit of fashion escapism.
As you know, our stories always feature a healthy mix of runway and influencer imagery, but this story is focused on our readers’ favorite celebs and the exact items they’re wearing. Scroll down to see the best celeb outfits of the week.
While Shopbop’s entire sale selection is elite, two categories stood out to me: sweaters and jeans. Many retailers are discounting summer wares such as dresses and skirts right now, but Shopbop’s current sale features my two absolute favorite things to wear for the current fall season.
The denim selection, in particular, is seriously top-notch. You’ve got jeans by Agolde, Citizens of Humanity, Levi’s, Mother, Nili Lotan, and others, all at significantly discounted prices. Whether you’re into skinnies, baggy jeans, or something in between, there’s a style to suit your taste. Below, I’ve rounded up my favorite sweaters and jeans from Shopbop’s current fall 2022 sale. Happy shopping!
Amira Rasool founded The Folklore with the mission to redefine the e-commerce space by enabling global customers to discover and shop premium luxury fashion, accessories, homeware, and beauty brands that were either based out of an African country or founded by folks of African descent. Her goal was to diversify the fashion landscape within the United States, creating sustainable revenue streams for designers who weren’t being given the global recognition they deserved. Completely exceeding the expectations of her core mission, Rasool has built a brand that has expanded its e-commerce into a three-tiered platform to better empower African and diasporic brands to work with international retailers: The Folklore Connect; a wholesale e-commerce platform; The Folklore Marketplace; and The Folklore Edit, an online media platform.
In just four years, Rasool has made admirable strides. She has pivoted the business from a direct-to-consumer model to working directly with other companies like Farfetch, where her partnership meant tripling the number of Black-owned brands the retailer offers. She has also grown the resources provided to the brand partners, empowering diverse businesses in other emerging markets like South America and India. And impressively, Rasool has become one of the youngest Black women to raise over a million dollars in a pre-seed funding round, raising $1.7 million. Yet before she began evolving the e-commerce landscape into a more inclusive one, she was a fashion writer and editor.
Rasool spent her early career days working with several top media companies such as Time, Vogue, i-D Magazine, Paper, WWD, and Marie Claire as a fashion assistant, subsequently landing the role of fashion coordinator at V magazine before she built The Folklore at just 22 years old.
Listen to the latest episode of Second Life to hear how Rasool’s former career in fashion media led her on a personal journey to scouting brands across the continent to join the platform, ultimately giving the world access to incredibly talented designers from a multitude of diverse backgrounds.
A goal that’s high on my priority list is to smell completely captivating wherever I go. Whether that’s on a gorgeous vacation or just a regular day working at the office, it’s something I actively work toward by building my dream fragrance collection. To give you a little progress report, it’s coming along nicely and I’ve discovered so many gems worth sharing. The ultimate test any perfume can face is seeing how many compliments you receive while wearing it.
I can tell you one thing: The perfumes on this list pass their exams with flying colors. In my humble opinion, each of them acts as a powerful magnet and invites some serious admiration from the folks around you. If you’re fully ready to board the “You smell so good” train, keep scrolling for a few ultra-attractive perfumes that fit the bill.

Sixteen years ago, Who What Wear was born out of a goal to make fashion and style accessible for all. It certainly has been a wild ride, starting as a little site in 2006 and growing into the brand you currently read (and shop from) today. We launched two brands (Who What Wear x Target and Who What Wear Collection) and are finding new ways every day to connect with our readers on a deeper level. Not only has a lot changed for us, but the sartorial world also isn’t the same it was in 2006. We thought we’d take a trip down memory lane and remind you of all the fashion moments we’ve reported on since WWW’s inception. Be prepared to be filled with nostalgia and have the desire to dig into your old stuff or have a laugh at some of the things you thought were très cool. Trust us—we felt the same way. We’ve rounded up our fashion favorites from 2006 to 2022, from hot-pink Motorola Razrs to sultry cutouts. This is not a comprehensive list of everything from the past 15 years, but it’s a pretty good summary.
We don’t want to keep you waiting, so you can just go ahead and keep scrolling to step into our little time machine.

It Bag: Balenciaga City Bag
Photo:

No handbag managed to have quite the grip on popular culture in the mid-2000s like Balenciaga’s City Bag did. The slouchy, convertible satchel featured the brand’s signature edgy hardware that served as its only identifiers, without a single logo in sight. Though the brand recently released a modern iteration, the original still continues to be a hot-ticket item on the resale market.
Overall Trend: Shrunken Leather Jackets
Photo:

Fun fact: In 2006, Who What Wear’s co-founders Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power published their very first trend report entitled “Little Leather Jackets.” Although the story itself is now buried in the internet’s endless backlog, the trend lives on through the plethora of celebs like Rachel Bilson who ignited the look.
It Item: Denim Miniskirts

Nothing says 2006 quite like a denim cutoff miniskirt. Rihanna wore them in Hollywood. We wore them through the halls of our middle and high schools. It was truly a trend everyone was in on.

It Girl: Lauren Conrad
Photo:

In Laguna Beach and The Hills, Lauren Conrad had us all glued to our TV screens to soak in her every (very stylish) move, with friends and co-stars Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port by her side. Chandelier earrings, tube tops, and plenty of stacked bangles became her style signatures.
It Bag: Givenchy Nightingale Bag
Givenchy may have introduced the Nightingale bag in 2006, but the oversize leather carryall managed to remain a fixture on the arms of street style stars and celebs alike in the years following its launch. Notable fans of the satchel bag include Kendall Jenner and Keira Knightly.
Most Watched TV Show: Gossip Girl
Photo:
Getty Images
The first episode of Gossip Girl aired on The CW this year, and the show promptly assumed its position as the cultural bellwether of the era. Nothing from the show’s wardrobe was more influential than Blair Waldorf’s collection of preppy headbands, we’d argue.
It Couple: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt
Photo:

After the duo’s steamy on-screen romance in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made things official IRL. The pair subsequently walked many red carpets together, and their understatedly cool style as a couple was simply unmatched.

Why yes, this is a photo of Kate Middleton carrying a Longchamp Le Pliage Bag to her college graduation. This image may have been snapped in 2005, but it’s safe to say the bag was a true cult piece in the mid-2000s. As a testament to its longevity, the classic bag is still popular to this day.
It Shoes: Chloé Susanna Boots

Chloé’s Susanna Boots, a pair of leather ankle boots adorned with a swirl of studs and metal buckles, were originally released in 2008. As anyone with a Pinterest account during this era would know, seemingly every celeb, model, blogger, and fashion person had these boots in their closets, and we have the street style shots to prove it.
It Couple: Katie Holmes & Tom Cruise

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were the subjects of endless headlines this year and were crowned Hollywood’s unofficial It couple of the mid-2000s. Who could forget when their daughter Suri graced the cover of Vanity Fair alongside her famous parents?

SplashNews.com
When we say that this Balmain military-style jacket defined fashion this year, we don’t think that’s an exaggeration. Beloved by Beyoncé, Rihanna, and plenty more A-listers, the designer piece ignited the trend of structured and embroidered outerwear that would reign supreme for seasons to come.
It Bag: Proenza Schouler PS1 Messenger Bag
Photo:

Proenza Schouler’s PS1 messenger bag was the ultimate cool-girl carryall in 2009 that’s both polished and lived-in. The slouchy satchel shape features a top-handle and crossbody option that stars such as Nicky Hilton, Kate Bosworth, and Emma Roberts were fans of.
Must-Have Accessory: Alexander McQueen Skull Scarf

Alexander McQueen’s iconic skull scarf was released in 2003 but reached a fever pitch in popularity in the early 2010s.

It Bag: Celine Luggage Bag

Of all the iconic accessories to emerge from Phoebe Philo’s stint at Celine, none had quite the impact that the Luggage Bag did. Twenty-ten was the year bags went from slouchy to structured, and Celine’s It bag marked this pivotal shift.
Overall Trend: Skinny Jeans
Photo:
Getty Images
We could sit here and debate the trendiness of skinny jeans all day long, but there’s no denying that slim-fit denim reigned supreme during this era, and celebs were especially keen on styling them with patent pumps and flowy blouses.

It Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Lita Boots

From the pages of Tumblr to the streets of NYC and Paris, Jeffrey Campbell’s Lita Boots really took hold in the early 2010s. The platform lace-up boots were everyone’s must-have, and to our surprise, celebs even forewent their designer options for this more affordable pick.
It Bag: Chanel Boy Bag

It’s impossible to scroll through a street style gallery without spotting a Chanel bag, but the fashion set was particularly obsessed with the structured Boy Bag this year.

Overall Trend: Flannel Shirts
Photo:
Splash News
Flannel shirts (along with messy topknot hairstyles—hi, Miley!) absolutely dominated 2012. Flannels had a big moment thanks in part to Rails, whose super-soft Hunter shirts were loved by celebs and, quite frankly, still are.

It Couple: Kim Kardashian & Kanye West

Who could forget the 2013 Met Gala at which “Kimye” first walked the red carpet as a couple—at the time expecting their first child, North West.
It Bag: Mansur Gavriel Bucket Bag
Photo:

Mansur Gavriel has since created a roster of lust-worthy bags, but this was the year when the brand’s first creation, a sleek leather bucket bag, really took off and put the minimalistic accessory brand on the map.
Overall Trend: Normcore
Photo:
Getty Images
The term “normcore” started swirling in fashion circles this year to describe a bubbling aesthetic that can only be categorized as anti-fashion. Ordinary basics like plain T-shirts, “dad” sneakers, and non-fitted jeans conveyed a carefully cultivated style.

It Bag: Chloé Drew Bag

Chloé has had many of its bags become It bags, but we remember when the Drew Bag was the only accessory street style stars had to have.
Must-Have Accessory: Dylan Lex Necklace
Photo:
Johnny Nunez/WireImage
When Dylan Lex released her collection of silver jewelry, her statement necklaces were quick to trend. The pieces were spotted on the likes of Beyoncé and Rihanna, and everyone tried to get their hands on a pair or use their DIY skills to create their own.
Most Loved Hairstyle: Ombré Hair
Photo:
Kevin Mazur/AMA2013/WireImage
Don’t you remember saving a variety of ombré hairstyles to your Pinterest board? We sure do. Kylie Jenner’s locks were a part of the edgy aesthetic she had during this era. (Remember Msfts?)
It Girl: Alexa Chung
Photo:
Alex Huckle/GC Images
Ah, the world of Tumblr and Alexa Chung’s minimal yet chic style taking the world by storm. Her book was released this year, and we remember rereading each page and bookmarking her looks to copy immediately. Overalls, striped tops, and easy denim were her staples.

Overall Trend: Athleisure
Photo:
Imaxtree
Before the rise of athleisure, workout wear was made just for the gym. Comfort became a top priority of the fashion set, and mixing elevated pieces with track pants or sneakers quickly became the norm.
It Shoes: Gucci Fur-Lined Princetown Loafers
Photo:
Georgie Wileman/Getty Images
Loafers were always seen as a polished piece in the wardrobe, but when Gucci added a fur lining, the brand brought a trendy element to the shoe style. Dare we say this was the beginning of fur linings being used popularly as an eccentric touch in footwear?

It Bag: Gucci Dionysus Bag

When Alessandro Michele took the reigns of Gucci in 2015, he quickly became known for mixing elements of the brand’s heritage with modern touches. The bag comes in a classic print or with lively embellishments and artwork.
Must-Have Accessory: Off-White Industrial Belt
Photo:
@mariaalia
Off-White was founded in 2012, but the industrial belt has become Virgil Abloh’s most iconic design. Inspired by workwear, it added a utilitarian touch to the street style scene.
Overall Trend: Bomber Jackets

According to Google’s 2016 report, bomber jackets were the number one trend of the year. The outerwear item was worn by a variety of style icons, from Kanye West and David Beckham to Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner. Although the piece has military roots, it became about style as well as utility.
It Couple: Bella Hadid & The Weeknd

Balenciaga’s Triple S sneakers and Fila’s Disruptors truly had a chokehold on fashionable people everywhere. Although controversial and considered “ugly,” their popularity showed otherwise.
It Brand: Supreme
Photo:

Do you remember walking past the Supreme store and seeing a line that stretched for blocks and being shocked? Us too. People were stalking the brand’s site to get their hands on anything that had the simple logo, from lighters to bricks.
Most Loved Hairstyle: High Ponytail

Although the high ponytail was a favorite hairstyle among many for its easy styling, we have to admit that it did come with some added headaches.

It Bag: Dior Saddle Bag
Photo:
Christian Vierig/Getty Images
John Galliano may have debuted the Saddle Bag on the runway for his 2000 collection, but the style made a return in 2018 as if nothing had changed in 18 years. After many design reiterations, the bag is still a staple.
It Brand: Ganni
Photo:
Yuliya Christensen/Getty Images
While Ganni may be recognizable by every fashion insider now, that wasn’t always the case. The brand took to Copenhagen runways and blew everyone away, and it’s only gone up from there.
It Couple: Meghan Markle & Prince Harry

We’d be lying if we said we didn’t wake up early in the morning to watch the live stream of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. We’ve loved every bit of their royal romance, from their engagement to the births of Archie and Lilibet.

It Bag: Bottega Veneta Pouch
Photo:

When Daniel Lee took the hold of Bottega Veneta, he skyrocketed the brand into cult status. Although the bags weren’t branded like most designer handbags, that didn’t change the fact that everyone wanted one and could recognize Lee’s design instantly.
Overall Trend: Suiting
Photo:
The Style Stalker
Remember when everyone wore fitted suiting? Good times. In the past few years, oversize suiting has become the go-to ensemble for looking forward and cool.
It Couple: Hailey Bieber & Justin Bieber

It Girl: Zendaya

We’ve been obsessed with Zendaya since her Disney days, but when Euphoria and Spider-Man: Homecoming came out, we wanted more of her on our screens. Her red carpet style just keeps getting better—as do her projects. (We currently have scheduled a day to watch Dune.)

It Bag: Telfar Shopping Bag
Photo:
@aniyahmorina
Telfar Clemens founded his brand in 2005 and became a success when his shopper bag—also known as the “Bushwick Birkin”—gained popularity. Clemens aims to make luxury accessible, keeping the bag at a relatively low price point and scheduling “Bag Security Program” days, where dedicated customers can secure their bags.
Quarantine in 2020 meant staying home. Thus, comfort became the number one priority in fashion. Sweatpants, slippers, and socks were the only clothing items anyone wanted to wear. (If we’re being honest, that is still a lot of what we wear right now.)
Raise your hand if you also tried to chop your own curtain bangs in quarantine, because our hands are up. They may be tricky to style, but when they are done right, they look phenomenal.
Most Watched TV Show: Bridgerton
Photo:
Netflix
Bridgerton may have been released toward the end of 2020, but it was exactly what everyone needed as a little bit of escapism. The romance, costumes, and scandal, what was not to love about it? We’re still dreaming about the duke—sorry not sorry.

It Bag: Gucci Jackie Bag
Photo:
@trustmebuythis
It seems like there’s a trend of designers rereleasing new versions of old cult bags for them to be cult bags yet again. The new Gucci Jackie is more modern and sleek, with a leather sheen and fun colors, but if you prefer the vintage version, you can easily find one secondhand.
Overall Trend: Cutouts
Photo:
Jeff Kravitz/MTV VMAs 2020/Getty Images
As restrictions were lifted and people became willing to go out again, the fashion trends became a little less about comfort and more about making a vivid statement. Revenge dresses, cutouts, and loud colors galore.
It Girl: Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo has come a long way from the girl who sang “Drivers License.” Since then, she’s released her debut album and singlehandedly become the ultimate pop princess for Generation Z.
It Couple: Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker

We’re still coming off the high we got from the Kravis engagement announcement. Can you blame us? Although the couple confused everyone at first, we’re completely on board.
This was an easy one: The Balenciaga Cagole Bag in all of its Y2K glory dominated everyone’s attention in 2022. Fun fact: The Balenciaga City Bag, which the Cagole is inspired by, was the It bag in 2006, the year Who What Wear first came to be.
After years and years of high-rise everything, low-rise is a thing again in 2022—so much so that it actually became mainstream. As trends this massive and significant often do, the low-rise trend is one that’s likely to stick around for some time.
Miu Miu generated many It items this year, but it’s the delicate satin ballet flats that took the fashion world by storm. Not only that, it’s safe to say that Miu Miu played the biggest hand in the overall ballet flats trend. Despite being nearly $1k, they’re sold out practically everywhere.
It Girl: Sydney Sweeney
Photo:
Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic for HBO
What a year Sydney Sweeney has had. Aside from being one of the best parts of Euphoria and riveting viewers in the wildly popular White Lotus, it was announced earlier this year that she’s joining the Marvel Universe in Madame Web. She’s also become a darling of the fashion world, starring in campaigns for Miu Miu and Tory Burch.
Brand Comeback: J.Crew
Photo:
J.Crew
Thanks to head womenswear designer Olympia Gayot (who joined the brand in 2020), J.Crew is cool again. And if you need any more validation of something being cool in 2022, Gayot and her effortless J.Crew styling regularly go viral on TikTok.
In 2018, it seemed like all anyone wore, talked about, or posted was really big puffer jackets. It was almost as if the puffier your jacket was, the more street cred you had. Influencers, celebrities, and fashion girls alike took to the trend with ease and excitement as they proudly walked down the street, nearly knocking everyone over in the process. This extra-large puffer trend emerged at the peak when trends felt more like a shock factor than a way of dressing. I mean, back in 2018, this look was probably styled with micro sunglasses and chunky Balenciaga Triple S sneakers, and that was something we considered normal?
Luckily (depending on who you ask), the fashion industry has shifted away from all the frills and gimmicks toward a more stylized and wearable set of collections and trends that won’t get you weird stares as you walk around outside. But to bring it back to puffers—an extremely relevant topic considering we are now entering the coldest time of the year—if the oversized puffer was 2018, the tonal plain puffer you can wear with literally anything is so right now.
We aren’t even that far into winter, and already the fashion set is whipping out simple puffers and styling them in ways that are actually approachable. Complete with warm color palettes of creams, tans, browns, and more, all of those crazy-colored, patterned puffers that fit in no closet I’ve ever seen suddenly feel obsolete. This new wave of puffers also includes puffer vests, which I personally feel will be a fresh update to my all too often repetitive winter wardrobe.

There’s a strong chance that you live in jeans in your off-duty or 9-to-5 life (if you work in a casual office setting, of course). It seems like I was just sharing with you all of my favorite Amazon items for summer, but mentally, I’ve moved on to fall. Since the only way to really get into the fall spirit right now is to buy things for it (context: the chilly weather hasn’t fully come yet ), I’ve taken to Amazon to do just that.
As you know, Amazon is the number one source for random things you didn’t know you needed, and people love to leave reviews when they find a good random gem. I pretty much don’t buy anything on Amazon before first reading as many good and bad reviews as I can find the time for, but luckily for you, I found some time, and as the title of this piece states, my cart is quite full.
Below, you’ll find a mix of fashion, beauty, home, and miscellaneous items that are sure to come in handy in the coming months. Thank me later.
