Wawa lovers might have to check their favorite beverages as the convenience chain has issued a recall for some strawberry lemonade and milk products that were sold in its stores throughout four states.

In a report from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Wawa said it was recalling pints of strawberry lemonade, strawberry milk, lowfat milk and whole milk that was made available at stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.

The impacted items have these bar codes:

    • Wawa Strawberry Lemonade, 16 oz (Pint), Plastic bottle, Stored refrigerated, UPC: 007626191018982 – dated Nov. 7, 2025
    • Wawa Strawberry Milk, Lowfat Milk, 16 oz (Pint), Plastic bottle, Stored refrigerated, UPC: 00726191015134 – dated Oct. 6, 2025
    • Wawa HVD (Whole) Milk , 16 oz (Pint), Plastic bottle, Stored refrigerated, UPC: 00726191014403 – dated Oct. 9, 2025

Officials said almost 3,000 units of products have been impacted by this recall.

The recall was issued as a ‘Class II’ recall for potential foreign object contamination, which is used in a situation where a product could “cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

When they attempted to rob the vehicle, the driver fired five rounds at the suspects. They retreated down an alley behind the Wawa, jumping into a stolen red Honda Accord waiting for them.

The pair and a getaway driver later abandoned that car and fled on foot. The suspects also left a stolen Acura RDX at the scene of the attempted robbery.

The FBI said the men should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about the crime can contact the Philly field office at 215-418-4000 or submit a tip online.

  • Florida slow to roll out federally funded electric-vehicle charging stations at Wawa, Buc-ee’s

Florida slow to roll out federally funded electric-vehicle charging stations at Wawa, Buc-ee’s

Wawa, Buc-ee’s and Busy Bee have come together over the slow rollout by Florida and about a dozen other states of a federally funded electric-vehicle charging stations program.

Introduced three years ago, the $5 billion National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure, or NEVI, program allows chargers to be built by private entities, if the owners put up a 20 percent match.

But Florida is among states that have not issued requests for proposals on the charging program, according to a report by Route Fifty, a sister publication of The News Service of Florida. Both are part of the GovExec media company.

Wawa, Buc-ee’s and Busy Bee are part of a national organization known as the Charge Ahead Partnership, which seeks to expand the electric-vehicle charging network.

“Florida has countless businesses that would love to use NEVI funds to help build out the state’s EV charging infrastructure, the same way that businesses in other states are,” Charge Ahead Partnership Executive Director Jay Smith said in a June statement. “It’s unfortunate that the state has still not issued an application for funds, while states like Ohio are opening NEVI-funded chargers.”

The federal match program is seen as a way for businesses to compete with power companies in operating charging stations, according to the Route Fifty report.

Loren McDonald, CEO of EVAdoption, which provides data and forecasts on the electric-vehicle industry, said the delay is a concern for convenience stores that offer fuel pumps.

“In some cases, they haven’t prioritized it. In some states, they don’t have the expertise in charging,” McDonald said, according to the Route Fifty report. “In a few cases, it’s hard to tell if politics are involved or if they’re just moving slowly, trying to cross the t’s and dot the i’s.”

Florida has the second-most electric vehicles in the country, but Gov. Ron DeSantis has routinely criticized the Biden administration and the infrastructure law for imposing ideology on states.

Michael Williams, a spokesman for the Florida Department of Transportation, said in an email to Route Fifty that the federal government updated its regulations governing the charging program in June.

“As this is a newly created program with many requirements, it is important that FDOT completes our due diligence to ensure we are effectively planning the proper use of taxpayer dollars, especially as we have already seen individual projects delivered under this program costing millions of dollars,” Williams wrote. “As custom department practice, FDOT takes a thoughtful and strategic approach to all programs and projects we develop, including researching best practices and exploring innovative opportunities.”

  • Bucks County Wawa sells a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million that’s gone unclaimed

Bucks County Wawa sells a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million that’s gone unclaimed

    [ad_1]

All five white balls drawn for the Mega Millions Friday matched one lucky ticket from a Langhorne, Pennsylvania Wawa.

The Wawa on 639 East Lincoln Highway sold the ticket and will receive a $5,000 “selling bonus” for selling the winning ticket.

The winning numbers on the Wawa’s ticket are 20-30-54-63-65.

As of now, the winner from the April 5 drawing has not claimed their prize.

To receive winnings over $2,500 winners must file a claim form to the lottery either by mail or in person at a Lottery Area Office.

In addition, certain prizes like jackpots and top prizes must be claimed in person at Lottery Headquarters in Middletown.

Winners of the Pa. lottery have up to a year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize, but the sooner the better because it could take over a month to receive your check.

Didn’t get all the numbers? You may still have a chance to win something.

The Pennsylvania Lottery reminds people to check your tickets every time because even if it’s not the “jackpot,” you could still win some money.

For Friday’s drawing, more than 33,000 Mega Millions players won prizes of various amounts, including over 7,100 tickets that were purchased with “Megaplier.”

Following this drawing, the new estimated annuity value of the Mega Millions jackpot is now $97 million or $45 million in cash for the next drawing set for April 9.

Tickets are available for purchase online or by visiting a retailer who sells lottery tickets.

  • ATM skimmers found on 2 machines inside a Wawa store in Atlantic County, New Jersey

ATM skimmers found on 2 machines inside a Wawa store in Atlantic County, New Jersey

    [ad_1]

ATLANTIC COUNTY, N.J. (WPVI) — Authorities in Atlantic County, New Jersey, are warning about ATM skimmers.

Galloway Township police say an ATM mechanic found devices on two machines on Wednesday inside the Wawa on the White Horse Pike at Pomona Road.

Surveillance photos show two men entering the store around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday. Police believe these men planted skimming devices on both ATMs. The devices were discovered the next day.

Police are asking anyone who used these ATMs recently to monitor their accounts and contact their bank.

IMAGE: Galloway Twp. Police are searching for these two suspects in connection with the ATM skimmer case.

“Banks nowadays are pretty good about keeping an eye out for any fraudulent activity and monitor your statements at all times,” said Galloway Twp. Police Lt. Mark D’Esposito.

An ATM skimmer attachment is designed to look like part of an ATM but illegally collects card numbers and PIN codes.

Police say to look for any loose-fitting or bulky parts on the ATM you’re using, or tape or glue residue on the machine.

Reports of skimmers are on the rise in New Jersey and across the country, according to FICO reports.

In 2022, more than 161,000 cards nationwide were impacted by skimming, which is nearly five times the number impacted the year before.

Drexel University criminology professor Rob D’Ovidio says these devices are getting more advanced.

“Now they’re using cellular technology. So it’s not uncommon to see skimmers with SIM cards and cellular transmission capabilities,” he said.

In this case, police say it doesn’t appear that any data was transmitted from these devices, but officers are still investigating.

Anyone who has recently used the Pomona Wawa ATMs should check their bank accounts.
