Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are officially husband and wife. The couple tied the knot today in Udaipur in the presence of their close friends and family members. After the ceremonies, they took to their individual social media handles to share the pictures and accompanied them with romantic notes for each other.

The wedding followed a rooted cultural ceremony filled with traditional rituals, floral decor and sacred chants. Rashmika appeared radiant in a classic saree with heritage jewellery, while Vijay complemented her in an elegant traditional outfit. From warm smiles during the garland exchange to playful laughter after the knot ceremony, every moment reflected intimacy over extravagance, making the celebration feel personal, pure and unforgettable.

Sharing the pictures, Vijay wrote, “One day, I missed her. Missed her in a way that made me feel like my day would’ve been better if she were around. Like my meals would’ve felt more wholesome if she were sitting across from me. Like my workouts would’ve been more fun and less of a punishment if she were doing them with me. Rashmika’s note read, “Hi my loves, introducing to you now “My Husband”! Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!! The man who taught me what true love feels like. The man who showed me what being in peace feels like! As the wedding approaches near, pictures from Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s haldi ceremony have appeared online, providing an insight into their pre-wedding festivities. The photos, which were posted on Instagram Stories, show a small, carefully planned event with traditional colours and unique details.

A group of priests for Vijay and Rashmika’s Andhra wedding were spotted arriving at the Udaipur airport the day before the big event.

ViRosh’s Andhra-style wedding to take place at 10 AM?

According to reports, Vijay and Rashmika will wed in an Andhra ceremony at approximately 10 a.m., and then in a Kodava ceremony at around 4 p.m. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been together for about eight years. They are now finally getting married after what started out as a slow-burning courtship.

A look at ViRosh romance: Where it all began

During a dream sequence in 2018, Govind, a young guy in love, pictured himself living with the woman he had fallen in love with. The movie was Geetha Govindam, the song was Vachindamma, and Vijay Deverakonda portrayed the man who was daydreaming of a happily married life. Rashmika Mandanna was the woman of his dreams- at least on the screen at that moment.

The fact that life had already subtly started writing a script for something considerably more intriguing than the movie was not fully understood at the time.

Meanwhile, Rashmika and Vijay reportedly intend to throw two wedding receptions in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The Mumbai party has not been announced, while the Hyderabad reception is set for March 4.

On Tuesday, the trailer of Chatrapathi was released and promises an action packed entertainer. For the unversed, it is a remake of Prabhas and SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster Telugu film of the same name. Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the story for the original, has penned the script of the remake as well. VV Vinayak has taken the place of direction in the Hindi remake. ED probes into funding of ‘Liger’ movie, questions actor Vijay Deverakonda

The Enforcement Directorate has lodged a money laundering case in connection with the funding of movie ‘Liger’. The case was lodged on Wednesday under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

Telugu film actor Vijay Deverakonda was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in Hyderabad in connection with a probe into funding of Liger. Summons have been issued by ED to Puri Jagannadh and Charmme, the makers of ‘Liger’.

Media reports said that the makers of the movie, which bombed at the box office, were questioned for almost 12 hours when they appeared before the ED on November 17, and were grilled over Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) violations.

Bakka Judson, Congress leader from Warangal, had lodged a complaint with ED wherein he alleged that several politicians invested in the movie. His complaint stated that the movie was made to turn black money into white.

ED suspects that foreign countries also invested crores of money in the film. Charmme and Jagannadh were asked to provide proof of the sources of income for Liger.

Liger was released on August 25 in five languages across the globe and garnered poor reviews and crashed miserably at the box office. The movie, made on a budget of Rs 120 crore, featured Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday and Ramya Krishna in lead roles. Boxing legend Mike Tyson was roped in for an explosive cameo in the film. Liger marked Deverakonda’s Bollywood debut and was backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Liger received mostly negative reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Bollywood critic Taran Adarsh had called the movie “OUTDATED” and had given Liger a rating of one and a half stars.
