8BitDo’s latest mechanical keyboard riffs on the design of a 1980s computer with one of the most iconic-looking keyboards of all time: the Commodore 64. 8BitDo’s Commodore 64 edition of its Retro Mechanical Keyboard series is available to preorder starting today for 109.99, with plans to ship it on May 26th.

Underneath its beautifully chunky brown keycaps (ABS plastic with double-shot legends) and Commodore-style rainbow logo, this is basically the same peripheral as 8BitDo’s previous NES keyboard. It comes with clicky Kailh Box White V2 switches as standard, but they’re hot-swappable if you want to swap them out for something a little less loud down the line. It can connect to devices via a choice of USB, Bluetooth, or with a 2.4GHz USB dongle; and there’s also a built-in volume dial at the top left of the keyboard.

The Google Pixel 8a is expected to be unveiled this spring, potentially during I/O 2024, which we know will take place on May 14. Phone manufacturers typically send their devices to the FCC for certification months ahead of launch. However, these FCC listings also give us a good idea of what to expect from a yet-to-be-launched device, and that’s exactly what’s happening with Google’s upcoming mid-tier phone.

HONOR has confirmed that it will launch its first flip phone foldable and smart ring this year. Those are two firsts for the company, and the news has been confirmed during an interview with CNBC. This is definitely official, as it comes from the mouth of George Zhao, the CEO of HONOR.

We’re not sure what the phone will be called, but the smart ring is referred to as the HONOR Ring.

We really love the Google TV platform for all that it brings to the table, with the platform receiving a performance upgrade back in December, bringing faster load times and other enhancements. Google is now announcing a visual overhaul for Google TV with a couple of visual changes and minor tweaks to existing functionality.

Vivo V30 Pro arrives with four 50MP cameras The Vivo V30 Pro features four 50MP cameras. There’s a Professional Portrait Camera with a 50mm focal length for “more realistic and vivid portraits.” The main camera comes with a Vivo-exclusive Camera-Bionic Spectrum (VCS) touted to capture accurate colors and clarity in low-light conditions. The ultrawide lens has a 119° field-of-view and boasts autofocus, a first for the V-series ultrawide camera.

There is also a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus on this phone. Vivo doesn’t talk much about the front camera in its official press release. Instead, the company goes into depth on the camera features co-engineered with Zeiss. We have the Vivo V30 Pro in our office for review, so we will soon find out whether the phone lines up to the hype in terms of camera performance.
