  • Our Editors Let Vivrelle’s AI Tool Style Them From Head to Toe

While each product featured is independently selected by our editors, we may include paid promotion. If you buy something through our links, we may earn commission. Read more about our Product Review Guidelines here.

As a certified fashion girl (and strong-willed person), it’s very rare that I let someone else style me. For the most part, I either wear what I want to wear based on my own creativity, or I’ll ask my brother or mom their thoughts about my outfit — two people whose sartorial sense I highly respect. But if we’re talking someone outside of close friends or family? I’m definitely apprehensive. Of course, that apprehension faded quickly once Vivrelle and Revolve’s new Complete the Look feature came into play. The brands’ collaboration invited AI to dictate my outfit, and the outcome turned out to be one of my favorite looks to date.

The luxury consignment site and go-to shopping destination recently launched their partnership that includes an AI-powered tool, which allows Vivrelle members to seamlessly team their chosen handbag or accessory with complimentary looks from Revolve or FWRD. All you have to do is log in to the app, select the bag you want to borrow, and press “add to closet.” You then proceed to your cart, where you’ll see the Complete the Look element appear with clothing suggestions from Revolve and FWRD.

Most notably, the partnership is the first-of-its-kind, especially for Vivrelle, which has a mission to create accessible experiences for its members. Later this season, the brands will launch another phase of the feature with “Ella,” an AI concierge that will act as a personalized fashion assistant.

As shopping editors and designer-bag fanatics, it was only right that we try the feature for ourselves. Ahead, read our editors’ honest thoughts about the innovative styling process and the designer bags we chose — and keep scrolling to shop our outfits from Revolve.

  • We Tried Good American’s Soft-Tech Denim to See If the Lift Is Really Magical

While each product featured is independently selected by our editors, we may include paid promotion. If you buy something through our links, we may earn commission. Read more about our Product Review Guidelines here.

Good American is known for its innovative material, B-corp certified production, and inclusivity when it comes to sizing. To be frank, I wish every denim brand looked a lot more like this one. And when I heard the label was re-launching its bestselling Soft-Tech jeans for fall, I knew PS editors had to be among the first to test out the new selection. GA introduced some of its signature silhouettes, like the Good Waist Palazzo Jeans, Good Curve Bootcut, and Good Petite, in this curve-hugging fabric that’s honestly pretty game-changing (not to give everything away right here on the spot).

What’s so great about the Soft-Tech denim? It’s one of the most sustainable fibers on the market, according to the brand, blending a lightweight, silk feel and TENCEL™ to create a flexible and soft jean that magically lifts and flatters in all the right places. In other words, it provides a surprising amount of structure for feeling like a pair of leggings when you pull them on.

PS editors are well-versed in product testing, and we’ve tried some of the most renowned denim brands on the market — from Madewell to Levi’s to Gap — so we took a very meticulous approach to delivering our reviews. Ahead, you can see photos of us modeling four different styles; read about our experiences not just wearing, but washing these jeans; and choose the pair that’s right for you if you’re down to invest. Sorry for yet another spoiler, but I highly doubt you’ll regret it.

  • We Tested Aritzia’s New Shapewear, and These Are Our Honest Thoughts

We Tested Aritzia’s New Shapewear, and These Are Our Honest Thoughts

While each product featured is independently selected by our editors, we may include paid promotion. If you buy something through our links, we may earn commission. Read more about our Product Review Guidelines here.

Aritzia has entered the shapewear chat, and we’re perking up and paying attention (quite literally). While the line, retailing from $28-$68 and aptly titled ShapeEnhance, has been introduced with just five pieces available in five neutral colorways, it’s off to a strong start. The fabric that comprises the collection is designed to support and enhance your natural curves with tubular-knit technology, though I personally feel like the compression is strong enough to help me correct my posture. So yeah, it’s that tight, but not in a bad way.

When four PS editors unboxed the ShapeEnhance Short, ShapeEnhance Thong Bodysuit, and ShapeEnhance Mid-Thigh Bodysuit, respectively, we all felt skeptical about our choice in sizing. Straight out of the package, the shapewear looks like it arrived 25 years too late for my American Girl Doll. But shimmying into these nylons is worth it if you like to feel super-snatched, and if you prefer a bit more room, you should simply size up.

Each piece is finished with meticulously-targeted shaping, giving your butt and chest an undeniable lift. What’s more, the minimal seam lines mean there’s no visible trace of the underwear, even under a sheer skirt or body-conscious knit maxi dress — just scroll for the proof.

While we hope Aritzia introduces more silhouettes and shades soon, we were highly-impressed with the luxe fabric. Read our full reviews and ratings ahead.

3 Editors Style Anthropologie’s New Daily Practice Collection

While each product featured is independently selected by our editors, we may include paid promotion. If you buy something through our links, we may earn commission. Read more about our Product Review Guidelines here.

Dressing up for an event is easy, but dressing for the everyday? Now that’s an entirely different challenge. It’s one thing to coordinate an outfit for a formal occasion — weddings, work parties, even date nights at fancier restaurants often have an attached dress code that provides some sort of direction on what to wear.

But what about those exceptionally casual occasions that don’t necessarily warrant a polished “going out” look, but still require more than your basic pajamas — like days spent lounging around the house, bopping around town for a few errands, or even just walking to get a coffee?

Even the most seasoned stylists struggle to curate the perfect everyday wardrobe. Luckily for us, Anthropologie — ever the haven for versatile fashion — just debuted a new line that’s designed to take the guesswork out of dressing for the day-to-day, with pieces that are comfortable (and stylish) enough to be worn for all sorts of casual activities — anti-occasionwear, if you will.

The Daily Practice collection is a capsule of styles that are made to do it all. Crafted from the brand’s softest fabrics, this line features a wide array of pieces — from stretchy jumpsuits and parachute pants to breathable maxi dresses and cropped sweatshirts. The collection is an achievement in versatility, with ensembles that you can comfortably wear from a morning yoga class to a long afternoon lunch and beyond.

To get a full understanding of the line’s offerings, we tasked three PS editors with testing several items from the collection in their own daily wardrobe. Keep reading for our review of Anthropologie’s Daily Practice collection — and see whether the line lived up to the hype.

4 Editors Review Reformation’s Swimwear — Here’s What We Think

Every editorial product is independently selected by our editors. If you buy something through our links, we may earn commission.

It may come as no surprise that Reformation’s revamped swimwear comes with new and improved materials. The line, which retails from $68 to $168 in sizes XS-XL, is made from a renewable and bio-based fiber called EVO by Fulgar. And, according to Reformation’s chief innovation officer Alison Melville, the product will only grow more sustainable with each seasonal drop (check out drop three here!). The first range incorporated deadstock fabric from the brand’s debut swimwear collection in 2019, and Reformation promises to “continue innovating and trying out new materials until we create the most sustainable swimwear possible,” according to Melville.

Instantly attracted to the striking bikinis and one-pieces, PS editors were eager to get our hands on the latest swimwear designs, many of which were influenced by bestselling products across other categories. “We designed Ref Swim to complement and round out our customers’ existing Ref wardrobes,” Melville tells PS. “Throughout the design process, we were inspired by the concept of outfitting and looked to the silhouettes of some of our top performing apparel items to create complementary swim pieces. For example, the Melanie Top was one of our most popular styles in 2023 so we carried the peekaboo design detail through in our Tossa One Piece and Tossa Bikini Top.”

Melville confirms that the success of drops one and two has exceeded expectations, with solid colors being most popular — a trend that speaks to the Ref shopper’s love for ’90s minimalism. The Tossa Top, Azure Bottom, and Soleil Top are within the top five SKUs, and they just so happen to be three of the pieces we selected to try at PS.

Ahead, you’ll hear from four different editors about their experiences trying Reformation swimwear with one shared sentiment: the quality is in the fabric and the fit.

3 Editors Try Target’s Future Collective With Jeneé Naylor Collection

Future Collective with Jeneé Naylor Ruffle Ankle Length Dress ($40)

“The Red Floral Ruffle Ankle Length Dress is one of my favorites from this collection — it just screams vacation mode. This dress is made for dancing, especially with its side slit. The ruffles add dimension and movement, which is such a fun flair — I feel like I’m on ‘Dancing With the Stars.’

I am 5’1″, and this dress hits right below the ankle, so it’s better to wear heels with it if you want it off the ground. It also has adjustable straps, but you won’t be able to fully tighten the strap that has the ruffle detailing. It’s such a vibrant and bold summer dress I’ll be wearing for brunches, dinners, vacations, and salsa nights.” — Anvita Reddy, assistant editor, Commerce

5 Editors Try Uniqlo’s New Bra Top Collection

Every editorial product is independently selected by our editors. If you buy something through our links, we may earn commission.

Is there anything more satisfying than taking off your bra at the end of a long day? Evidently, yes: not wearing one at all. While fashion trends may come and go, we’d argue that the braless look is one of this century’s most enduring fads. Thanks to the pandemic and growing interest in more comfortable wardrobe essentials, it’s here for the long haul.

For as liberating as going braless may be, let’s be real: it isn’t always the most comfortable option, especially for those with midsize and large busts who might be more prone to back pain and discomfort. Fortunately, Uniqlo — ever the brand for functional fashion offerings — has developed the ultimate style for those who’d like to forgo wearing traditional bras without having to sacrifice on comfort and support. Enter in: the bra top.

Unlike other tank tops, these pieces are fitted with a seamless, built-in bra minus any awkward lines to accompany it. The bra tops are designed to mirror the look of a basic tank, but with an extra layer of inner support to ensure your bust feels lifted and comfortable. From tube tops and camisoles to cropped tanks, these styles are cater to all body types and bust sizes. Plus, they come in plenty of color options, too.

Ahead, we tasked five PS editors with testing out Uniqlo’s bra top collection, and asked each to analyze the pieces based off their level of support and stylishness. Keep reading for our editors’s honest reviews and see why these bra tops double as a more comfortable alternative for embracing the braless trend.

Every editorial product is independently selected by our editors. If you buy something through our links, we may earn commission.

Shopping for a new pair of shoes takes a lot of careful thought and consideration. Sure, you can go out and just hit the “add to cart” button on the next cute pair you find in your size, but that’s how you can end up with blisters everywhere and eventually, a box that collects dust in the back of your closet.

When shopping for shoes, we look for options that hit that sweet spot between style and comfort. We like to think of ourselves as experts on this matter. We scour the internet for the latest and greatest new products, sift through thousands of reviews, and road-test items in real life to ensure they’re worth it. The latest brand we put to the test was Charlotte Stone.

The company was created in 2014 by an Ontario-born designer of the same name with the goal of making shoes fun and exciting, not daunting or uncomfortable. The website reads, “We believe that fashion, like life, is meant to be enjoyed. Not painful. Not prohibitively expensive. And not relegated to special days like birthdays and holidays.”

From a quick look at Charlotte Stone’s website, you’ll see that, visually, the brand is nailing it. The line-up includes everything from sandals to clogs, sneakers, flats, and heels, with most of the shoes coming in the brand’s signature bright, color-block hues. Whether you’re looking for a pair of shoes that’ll make you smile every time you look down at your feet or you have a vacation coming up where fun, festive footwear is in order, Charlotte Stone may have the option for you.

3 Editors Give an Honest Review of Nike's Bestselling Air Sneakers

Every editorial product is independently selected by our editors. If you buy something through our links, we may earn commission.

Few shoes have dominated the mainstream more — at least over the last decade — than Nike Air sneakers. While the shoe silhouette certainly isn’t new, the nostalgic look and inimitably comfortable design is what’s made the sneaker a generational mainstay. In fact, it’s even garnering a younger audience of millennials and Gen Z’ers alike who have leaned more into sneaker culture than ever before over the last few years.

Nike Air Force 1 shoes, in particular, have evolved into something of a wardrobe staple — and not just for their classic design and comfortable build. The real appeal of Nike Air sneakers is in their styling versatility. Unlike shoes before them, these sneakers seamlessly blend aesthetic with functionality, combining everything that we love about an everyday shoe with the practicality and support of Nike’s signature Air technology. You can wear them out to brunch with a dress, to the airport in leggings, out on a date night, or even while you’re simply running errands around town. The shoes are designed to elevate any look with a streetwear-inspired flair, all while providing a bouncy base that’s primed to provide all-day comfort.

With so many different ways to don Nike Air sneakers and incorporate the shoes into your everyday style, we tasked three editors with reviewing how the shoes work within their own closets. Two opted to test out the classic Nike Air Force 1 sneakers, while another editor adopted the Nike Air Max 90 Futura sneakers within her day-to-day wardrobe. • 3 Editors Test the TikTok-Famous HalaraMagic Jeans

3 Editors Test the TikTok-Famous HalaraMagic Jeans

“I’d heard about the wonders of Halara’s ‘magical denim’ and form-fitting pant styles but have always been weary about just how universally comfortable and flattering they actually are. As a 5’10” woman with a curvier shape, pants shopping hasn’t always been the easiest task for me — especially when I’m shopping online.

I can honestly say these HalaraMagic High Waisted Button Pockets Washed Stretchy Knit Casual Wide Leg Jeans ($45, originally $55) exceeded all of my expectations and then some. The bottoms are supremely comfortable, with a lightweight design that’s composed primarily of the brand’s signature HalaraMagic material. These casual pants slip right on without an adjustable button closure up top, which is a feat in itself considering I can’t even remember the last time I didn’t have to wiggle my way into a pair of jeans.

Despite its denim-like design, the pants fit more like a wide-leg legging — courtesy of the bottom’s extra stretch at the waist and breathable material. I love everything about them right down to the coloring (I opted for the dark blue denim shade), and also appreciate that because of their mid-calf length, they’re a style that I can wear year-round, regardless of the temperatures. This might be my first style from Halara, but rest assured, it won’t be my last.” — Kyley Warren, assistant editor, Commerce

We got wind of the exciting Rowing Blazers x Target collab just last month, teased with a few enticing images of what was in store: an array of items ranging from accessories like totes and crossbody bags to pullovers, polos, pantsuits, and even home decor. Shortly after that, the retailer unveiled a comprehensive lookbook featuring every item from the much-anticipated collection, allowing shoppers to preview the offerings from the September 23 drop. Our editors were lucky to be able to test a few pieces ahead of the official launch to share our candid thoughts on the collection.

But first, a little background if you’re new to Rowing Blazers. The American label was founded in 2017 and has since become a leader in the preppy style sphere, known for its rugby and polo shirts and outerwear, among other silhouettes. It’s also known for some major collaborations, with its latest venture being the partnership with Target. This collection is particularly noteworthy because Rowing Blazers is known for premium pricing, whereas many items created in partnership with Target are affordably priced at under $30, all while maintaining the brand’s signature collegiate-cool allure.

No surprises here, as Target’s designer collaborations consistently sell out, but since the Rowing Blazers x Target release, pieces have disappeared from both virtual and physical store shelves at a rapid pace. But if you still need inspiration for your shopping spree before the stock dwindles, we’ve got you covered. Below, three editors handpicked styles from the Rowing Blazers x Target collection and put them to the test. Dive in to explore their selections with photos showcasing how they styled them, and find out what makes each piece unique.
