Pluto Pets (www.plutopets.com), the science-driven pet longevity startup officially launches its groundbreaking AI-powered platform featuring a personalized AI health assistant trained on over 12 million clinical data points and vetted by licensed veterinarians. The platform transforms uploaded vet records, symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle data into actionable, predictive health plans.

Meet PlutoOS – the veterinary-reviewed AI engine at the heart of Pluto Pets longevity ecosystem. Trained on 12 million+ real clinical, behavioral, and physical data points, PlutoOS turns your dog’s records into clear, predictive, personalized care – no more 3 a.m. panic Googling required.

    How It Works:

PlutoOS ingests breed, age, weight, activity, diet logs, owner-uploaded bloodwork, and lifestyle photos to generate evolving, predictive longevity plans:

    1. Upload once → Vet records (PDF/DOCX), bloodwork, food labels, symptoms, meds, history, even quick notes or photos.

    2. Ask anything, anytime → Instant chat for symptoms, nutrition, behavior, or weird habits. Alice answers like a trusted vet who never sleeps.

    3. Get plain-English insights → Lab results translated, red flags explained, no medical degree needed.

    4. Early warnings that actually matter → Detects 30+ early-stage conditions years ahead with breed-specific precision.

    5. Personalized game plan → Dynamic nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle recommendations that evolve as your dog does.

    6. One number to rule them all → The Pluto Score – your dog’s real-time wellness benchmark (think biological age vs. chronological age).

    7. Gentle nudges when needed → “Hey, let’s check this with your vet” alerts that save thousands in crisis care.

Result: Fewer surprise bills, zero guesswork, and measurable extra healthy years with your best friend.

“Most owners only discover problems when it’s already an emergency,” says The, Founder & CEO of Pluto. “Pluto flips the script – it predicts risks early, explains everything simply, and tells you exactly what to do next so your dog lives longer, happier, and crisis-free.”

Every insight is vetted by licensed veterinarians. PlutoOS doesn’t diagnose or prescribe it simply empowers pet owners to make smarter decisions and know exactly when to see your real vet.

  • Veterinarians Putting Children First

    [ad_1]

Vet Cadets Childcare is a first-of-its-kind, certified childcare center located inside the Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon’s Emergency and Specialty Hospital. It is a center to support both staff and parents in the Bend community with comprehensive, educational programming for children 12 months to six years of age. The great news for Bend families is that parents do not need to be employed by VRCCO to enroll their children.

Adhering to the VRCCO company values of beyond expectations, one team and compassion, Vet Cadet’s inception was meant to support employee parents dealing with a lack of care facilities in Bend, in a region that is often referred to as Central Oregon’s “child care desert.” Taking into consideration that more than 60% of veterinary professionals are women, VRCCO believed that child care would be an appreciated addition to their new hospital site. Also, working within a 24-hour establishment poses challenges for any parent with young children. VRCCO hopes this center mitigates stress, eliminates extra commutes and enables parents to enjoy their kids throughout the day.

Although it may seem like an odd combination, VRCCO has welcomed this program with open arms. Through a secure company volunteer program, employees may even take an active role within the center, another unexpected family forward benefit. School-aged children of employees have been able to participate as volunteers and gain community service hours in the process. These volunteers have quickly become class favorites and these relationships have instilled a beautiful sense of community within the hospital.

VRCCO didn’t account for all of the added benefits that this center brings to their company. As many are aware, the veterinary industry is notorious for compassion fatigue and burnout. While most people are driven to this field because of their love and compassion for animals, it can be difficult to face the stress of caring for sick/injured pets each day. What came as a surprise to the VRCCO staff was how uplifting the presence of children can be. Hearing their laughter or seeing them play can be a welcome distraction on a difficult day, one that positively impacts the team’s morale.

Vet Cadet’s teachers have also become esteemed team members, their positions supported by the hospital qualifying them for full company benefits. VRCCO refers to their employees as heroes, which is an appropriate sentiment to the value these teachers have given to this program, to the parents that utilize their service and fortunately to the company as a whole.

Vet Cadets is currently enrolling. Spots that aren’t filled by employees are welcome to the public through full-time or daily drop-in care. Vet Cadets is also hosting a family-fun community event at Ponch’s Place on Saturday, June 29 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., 62889 NE Oxford Ct. in Bend, OR. Crafts will be set up for children 12 months and older.

PetVivo, makers of Spryng™ with OsteoCushion™ Technology, introduces new Q&A sessions with equine expert Dr. Tracy Turner

    Press Release

    Jun 1, 2022

PetVivo, the company who makes SpryngTM with OsteoCushionTM Technology, is proud to work in collaboration with Dr. Tracy Turner, a recognized expert in equine lameness diagnosis, on new video Q&A sessions on joint health. Dr. Tuner, with more than four decades of experience, has seen the full spectrum of lameness and joint issue management products and when he encountered SpryngTM with OsteoCushionTM Technology, an intra-articular injectable veterinary device, he knew he had come across a potential game-changer.

“I love telling the story of the first stifle I injected with SpryngTM. The horse was a strong grade three out of five lame with a beat-up meniscus. I told the owner she was likely at the end of her career, but that we could try injecting this new product,” recounts Dr. Turner, owner of Turner Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery. “When I came back two weeks later, I didn’t believe I was looking at the same horse — she was 100% sound. The only thing I had done was a SpryngTM injection. I stepped out of the barn that day knowing I had found a real boon to veterinary medicine.”

Available only through licensed veterinarians, SpryngTM with OsteoCushionTM Technology is an innovative intra-articular injectable veterinary medical device that is designed to aid in the management of joint pain from loss of cartilage or tissue-bone mechanical malfunction caused by joint dysfunction not associated with infection (e.g., lameness, osteoarthritis, degenerative joint disease). A single SpryngTM injection provides both immediate joint protection and helps protect the joint from further injury, unlike other products that only treat symptoms.

“Anti-inflammatories eliminate the inflammatory process, but they don’t address the consequences of that,” says Dr. Turner. “SpryngTM is a product that needs to be in our toolbox for treating joint diseases and other arthritic type diseases. I recommend it to every veterinarian around the country.”

Dr. Turner, who has used SpryngTM with OsteoCushionTM Technology for 10 years and joined the Veterinary Advisory Board of parent company PetVivo Holdings, Inc. in 2018, recently released a series of Q&A videos recounting his experience with and assessment of the SpryngTM product. The full video collection can be viewed on SpryngHealth.com.

    About Dr. Tracy Turner

Dr. Turner is a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Thermology. He received his DVM degree from Colorado State University in 1978, after which he pursued his interest in equine medicine and surgery. He is board-certified in veterinary surgery and Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Turner served on the faculty of the University of Illinois, University of Florida and the University of Minnesota. He joined Anoka Equine Clinic in 2004, then started his own practice in 2016 dedicated strictly to Sports Medicine, Lameness, and Surgery.

Dr. Turner consults for the FEI and United States Equestrian Federation. He has worked at four Pan American Games, two World Equestrian Games, and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Read Dr. Turner’s full biography here: https://www.petvivo.com/team-bios
