  • SKIMS releases underwear with pubic hair in baffling move | The Mary Sue

    [ad_1]

Everyone is talking about Kim Kardashian’s new SKIMS underwear and it’s every bit as exhausting as you probably think it is! There’s pubic hair and of course a bit of good old fashioned social media sensationalism in there for good measure. (If there’s one thing this woman has down pat, it’s mastering the online rage cycles that whip around her carefully manicured brand.) But, yes, SKIMS has a brand-new product called the “Faux Hair Micro String Thong.” Essentially, a thong with simulated pubic hair on the outside for everyone to gawk at online.

SKIMS has been merciful enough to extend us more of an explanation as well. They bill the “Faux Hair Micro String Thong” as: “our most daring panty yet. Hand-made in a super sheer, stretch mesh, this string thong features a mix of curly and straight faux hair in twelve different shade variations. Complete with elastic side straps. Fits true to size.”

Okay, have we all taken a breath yet? Let’s dive right into the bit of cheeky business. The only reason Kardashian’s company would make a product like this is for the inherent attention it brings her brand. Think about it, when was the last time you thought about SKIMS since it launched. (Sorry to all my sports girlies and anyone with an acute interest in shapewear, because I know you exist!) Seriously, we go through these exact kinds of product cycles in fashion quite often now as a part of social media supercharging people’s need to have a take on every single thing that rolls across their phone screens.

SKIMS strange pubic hair panties are part of a larger trend

Like we mentioned above, social media has been flush with engagement bait for about a decade and some change now. Once things moved to an algorithmic model of consumption, some users correctly realized that the easiest way to get attention is to do things that the algorithm would single out as “interesting.” So, that’s how we get to arguing about $200 dates and what women bring to the table in relationships every week. The same well springs forth with constant nostalgia reminders about movies and music from previous years, even on strange anniversaries, too.

This latest SKIMS release fits neatly within to this framework. People are not going to talk about mostly neutral-toned activewear and underwear. But, if we weave some faux hair in there? Now, we’re cooking with gas. Add in a pinch of how weird human beings can be about sexuality in the year 2025, and you’ve got an impressive stew going.

Going viral as the only thing that matters

More than anything else in the recent history of social media fashion stunts, I find myself thinking about MSCHF’s “Big Red Boots.” Folks will remember the goofy, definitely not Astro Boy-inspired, red shoes that doubled as a marketing angle to help put MSCHF on the map for the normie contingent online. They talked to ArtReview about virality, and I feel like they might have a great read on our digital climate.

MSCHF said, “Having something go viral is never an end in and of itself. It’s a tool that you can aim towards to spread. Certain projects need a big enough audience for them to work…”

I find that their later thoughts on the matter have a better grasp on where we are, largely speaking. They argued, “People online trying to go viral, just to go viral, will do any stupid thing to achieve that goal. As a goal it is not a good goal.”

And, with that, it’s a new day for Victoria’s Secret. We’re ready to see some looks!

  • I Went to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — in a Lace Catsuit From the Runway

I Went to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — in a Lace Catsuit From the Runway

When I pulled out my Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show getting-ready outfit from the shopping bag delivered to my doorstep, I was stoked. To be honest, I’d always wondered what it felt like to be one of the Angels getting her makeup done backstage in the brand’s signature Satin Short Piped Robe ($60). Mine even came with the official VS merch emblem emblazoned in crystals on the back. Both the crystals and the matching baseball cap (which is sadly now sold out from the “Shop the Show” drop) made up for the fact that I had to do my own makeup before trekking it to Brooklyn’s Duggal Greenhouse for the return of the legendary VS runway.

Still, it was the outfit I slipped on after wearing the pink robe, the one I would ultimately wear to the show, that made me the most nervous: the Very Sexy Rose Lace Balconette Catsuit ($130). It was far more daring than the loungewear I had been sporting before, and I nearly put my foot in my mouth when I saw just how see-through the material actually was.

As it would turn out, model and former First Lady of France Carla Bruni wore the very same design on the runway as I looked on from my seat in the audience, admiring her confidence. Suddenly, I didn’t feel so eager to cover up in my oversize denim jacket anymore. In fact, seeing what my fellow showgoers were wearing also made me feel more liberated in my lingerie as we all watched a VS Fashion Show that was more body inclusive than ever before. Don’t get me wrong: the brand still has a long way to go, in my opinion — viewers all over the world expressed that same sentiment after the spectacle wrapped — but getting to wear lingerie that’s typically reserved for Angels made the runway fashion feel more accessible.

Ahead, learn how I styled the VS Very Sexy Rose Lace Balconette Catsuit, worn by Bruni, and read my full review of the piece, which is still shoppable online.

Carla Bruni on the Victoria’s Secret Runway

Bruni, who celebrated getting her wings ahead of the show, wore the VS Very Sexy Rose Lace Balconette Catsuit with the Lace Lightly Lined Demi Bra and the Twinkle Strap Lace Corset Set. Her shimmering beaded wings, chunky stone hoops, and wraparound sparkling stilettos amplified the glitzy boning on her top, with the catsuit itself acting as the foundation of her whole look.

How to Style a Lace Catsuit

    PS Photography | Sarah Wasilak

As the wing-less spectator I am, I felt it appropriate to layer with an oversize denim jacket from Frame and opted for simple black pumps. I kept on my hat to add a sporty twist. Underneath, I was rocking the VS Shine Patch Lightly Lined Wireless Bra ($45) and VS Logo Cotton Shine Patch Hiphugger Panty ($15), a bra and underwear set I highly recommend for anyone who who prefers just a touch of glamour but favors comfort above all else. The wireless bra felt so smooth and lightweight, whereas the panties provided just enough coverage underneath the stocking-like bodysuit, without adding bulk.

Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Rose Lace Balconette Catsuit Review

    Main ImageMain Image

As time went on, I grew to appreciate the catsuit more and more — and not just because I was inspired by Bruni’s confidence. It really does have a stretchy feel to it so that it fits like a second skin. I also appreciate design details such as the illusion front panty panel and vertical front seams, which add undeniable sex appeal but sophistication all the same. The back zipper is also easy to maneuver without any help; and from a style perspective, it really does look good with a pair of heels, regardless of how many layers you add up top.

My only gripe is that the sweetheart neckline is very low cut and the chest area is wide open, so if you want to layer a bra beneath the built-in cups, it will definitely be visible and may not align exactly how you pictured it. My advice is to try it with a few different bra and panty sets underneath until you find the perfect match for your shape.

Of course, just like with a pair of tights, you’ll want to pull up this bodysuit carefully because the lace embroidery is definitely delicate.

Additional Details About the Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Rose Lace Balconette Catsuit

    • The catsuit comes in sizes XS-XXL. I took my usual size, XS.
    • It’s unlined and partially made from recycled materials, including recycled polyamide and recycled elastane.
    • Since there’s no back coverage, you will see your bra band from behind (and it’ll likely peek out in the front, too).
    • The catsuit is hand wash only.

Aritzia has entered the shapewear chat, and we’re perking up and paying attention (quite literally). While the line, retailing from $28-$68 and aptly titled ShapeEnhance, has been introduced with just five pieces available in five neutral colorways, it’s off to a strong start. The fabric that comprises the collection is designed to support and enhance your natural curves with tubular-knit technology, though I personally feel like the compression is strong enough to help me correct my posture. So yeah, it’s that tight, but not in a bad way.

When four PS editors unboxed the ShapeEnhance Short, ShapeEnhance Thong Bodysuit, and ShapeEnhance Mid-Thigh Bodysuit, respectively, we all felt skeptical about our choice in sizing. Straight out of the package, the shapewear looks like it arrived 25 years too late for my American Girl Doll. But shimmying into these nylons is worth it if you like to feel super-snatched, and if you prefer a bit more room, you should simply size up.

Each piece is finished with meticulously-targeted shaping, giving your butt and chest an undeniable lift. What’s more, the minimal seam lines mean there’s no visible trace of the underwear, even under a sheer skirt or body-conscious knit maxi dress — just scroll for the proof.

While we hope Aritzia introduces more silhouettes and shades soon, we were highly-impressed with the luxe fabric. Read our full reviews and ratings ahead.

While each product featured is independently selected by our editors, we may include paid promotion. If you buy something through our links, we may earn commission. Read more about our Product Review Guidelines here.

As a brand, Skims has released many an iconic campaign, viral product (ahem, that nipple push-up bra isn’t playing around), and bestseller. Founded by Kim Kardashian and Emma and Jens Grede in 2019, the company was valued at $4 billion in July 2023, according to Forbes. And whether or not shoppers are Kardashian fans, the brand still seems to have go-to collections that continuously sell out.

The Fits Everybody line is made with a signature stretch fabric that truly is butter-soft (in fact, I’m wearing the classic thong right now and I describe it as feeling like “nothing.” In other words, it’s a second skin). The Soft Lounge launch gave way to everyone’s favorite long slip dress, which most people attest to be the most flattering body-concious piece they own. And the Seamless Sculpt range provides every piece of shapewear you could possibly imagine layering underneath that slightly skin-revealing look you’ve been trying to figure out how to style.

Of course, Skims has been most notably praised for its sizing (XXS-4X) and incredible assortment of nude shades to complement skin tones. Its adaptive products feature added hook and eye closures and front clasps for accessibility, though the brand is overdue for introducing more styles. Nevertheless, if you’re new to shopping Skims, we highly recommend you start with the top-rated picks that most folks rave about on social — and these 11 are it.

Ahead, read up on the Skims bestsellers, and decide where to shop based on your color and size preferences. Skims is available at skims.com, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Net-a-Porter, Ssense, and more.

The Celeb-Worn Bamboo Underwear That Gets Softer With Every Wash Is on Major Sale

    [ad_1]

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, StyleCaster may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

If you’ve ever wondered what makes a bra, shirt, or pair of underwear stand out, it’s the material. Bamboo is soft, breathable, moisture-wicking, and non-toxic, and Boody has made it its mission to let everyone know. Lucky for you, you can save big on the bralette Billie Eilish wore to the 2022 Grammys red carpet, while almost everything on Boody’s site is up to 50% off.

Boody’s Design Room Sale kicks off on June 13 and ends on June 22, leaving you plenty of time to browse its online offerings. But as always, I’m here to make your shopping decisions easier by sharing my top picks.

Deals include everything from the $11 bra Billie Eilish rocked on the red carpet to what shoppers dub the “perfect t-shirt for all seasons.” You’ll find markdowns as low as 20% and as high as 50%, so you don’t need to think twice about investing in high-quality pieces, especially while they’re on sale.

But back to the actual material of the clothing. Boody’s bamboo fabric gets softer the more you wear it, has incredible ventilation so you don’t overheat (summer pit stains be gone!), wicks away moisture, and doesn’t touch pesticides, insecticides, or fertilizers. It’s clear bamboo is good for humans, but did you know it’s also great for the planet? It’s organically grown, requires less water, improves air quality, and grows fast. Get yourself clothing that truly does the most!

Build up your basics with Boody’s marked-down clothing, bras, and underwear. Remember that the sale ends on June 22, so don’t dilly-dally and keep reading for my top picks.

    Boody Smoothing Short
    Boody.

If you experience chafing on your thighs, you’ll be relieved to discover the Smoothing Short. Full coverage, a flattering high-waist design, and a second-skin feel are more than enough reasons to throw these shorts on under dresses and skirts.

    Boody Lyolyte Racerback Bralette
    Boody.

You might recognize the Lyolyte Racerback Bralette from that time Billie Eilish strutted down the 2022 Grammys red carpet with the black version peeking out from under her outfit. And that is certainly one fab way to wear the undergarment! For those who absolutely despise wearing bras, especially wired ones, this pad and wire-free bra might be the perfect solution. In addition to a comfortable design and straps that don’t dig into your shoulders, the bralette’s lightweight and smooth knit fabric offers a breathable feel.

    Boody Lyolyte Hipster Bikini
    Boody.

If you’ve always wondered what barely-there underwear bottoms might feel like, all you have to do is step into the Lyolyte Hipster Bikini. It’s seamless, soft, and features an elastic waistband and flat elastic edging around the legs so that it doesn’t feel like your circulation is getting cut off with every move you make.

    Boody Classic Crew Neck T-Shirt
    Boody.

It turns out the perfect t-shirt does exist, according to one shopper in the reviews section. They swear this crew-neck tee is great for all seasons, and that’s probably because of its timeless style, relaxed fit, and ultra-soft fabric. Team up this wardrobe staple with your fave pair of jeans, linen shorts, or honestly, any bottoms in your closet—it’s that versatile!

    Boody Racerback Dress
    Boody.

I’m a sucker for any kind of long, racerback dress like this one because you can wear it alone in the spring and summer and layer a sweater over top in the fall and winter. Plus, the side slits are a bonus so that you’re not waddling around while running errands, commuting to work, or grabbing drinks with a friend.

  • ‘Underwear underworld’ uncovered by police in Northern Virginia – WTOP News

‘Underwear underworld’ uncovered by police in Northern Virginia – WTOP News

    [ad_1]

Three men now have their panties in a bunch after being arrested for allegedly stealing over $24,000 worth of merchandise — mostly Victoria’s Secret underwear.

A three-man retail theft crew now has their panties in a bunch after being arrested for allegedly stealing over $24,000 worth of merchandise — mostly underwear from Victoria’s Secret.

Fairfax County Police Capt. Dana Ferreira said the thieves stole the items Wednesday in Prince William County. Later in the day, they drove to Tysons Corner Center, and detectives were alerted about the car through their automated license plate recognition system.

CLICK IMAGE TO ENLARGE: Nearly $24,000 worth of merchandise from the Tysons Corner mall was stolen this week. (Courtesy Fairfax County Police)

“They immediately got to work and located that vehicle in the garage,” Ferreira said. “And we were able to use the mall’s cameras to determine who dropped off several passengers that were moving about the mall.”

After taking the suspects into custody, officers found the stolen undergarments, which were from Victoria’s Secret, police said. Detectives are only aware of the alleged thefts in Prince William County, but are working to see if the suspects committed similar thefts in other areas.

“They stole them from a relatively high-value retailer,” Ferreira said. “So they’re items that would normally sell for a pretty high cost. The suspects probably believed they could sell them at a lower cost than the retailer was charging and still make a healthy profit.”

Ferreira said they are seeing a rise in larceny offenses in the area and are making a concerted effort to disrupt these operations to show thieves it’s not even worth coming to the D.C. region to perpetrate these crimes.

Felix Perez, 57, Amauri Roman Sanabia Balbuena, 44, both of New Jersey, and 38-year-old Jonathan Peralta Cabrera, of New York, are being charged with grand larceny and other related charges.

  • Your Valentine’s Day Underwear Can Affect Your Romantic Luck in 2024

Your Valentine’s Day Underwear Can Affect Your Romantic Luck in 2024

    [ad_1]

Every editorial product is independently selected by our editors. If you buy something through our links, we may earn commission.

While some call it superstition, the color of your underwear on Valentine’s Day can at least usher in the type of romantic luck you hope to cultivate in the year ahead. Renowned fashion psychologist Dr. Dawnn Karen, Professor at FIT, conducted a study on the power of red, surveying 115 people who were viewed differently based on their backgrounds and where on their body (or in their outfit) they wore the shade. While Dr. Karen didn’t incorporate underwear specifically, she found the effect of red to be astounding, significantly impacting how passersby interpret someone’s levels of promiscuity and attractiveness.

When asked about applying her findings to popular Valentine’s Day lingerie colors — including red, pink, black, and white — Dr. Karen calls it a twofold street. “Wearing your underwear as an individual can have the same effects generating self-love as it can generating outwards love towards another,” she tells POPSUGAR. Since choosing your bra, briefs, or bodysuit is a personal decision, we asked Dr. Karen to weigh in on the meaning behind all four hues so you can determine your mindset while selecting your underthings on Feb. 14, whether you wish to send a message to yourself or to a partner.

To put it simply, red is the most stimulating and seductive choice, pink is a reflection of kindness, black errs on the side of mystery, and white symbolizes purity in your relationships. But Dr. Karen breaks it down even further, unpacking the rationale behind carefully curating your intimates for the hallmark holiday. Ahead, we’ve applied her outlook to a shopping roundup of lingerie sets, arranged by color. Whether you’re seeking a sporty boy short and bralette combination, a delicate lace teddy, a strappy garter and tights, or a whimsical, floor-length nightgown, there’s sure to be a silhouette that speaks to both your intention and plans this Valentine’s Day.

  • Underwear sparks Lehigh Acres father and son's violent attack on elderly man

Underwear sparks Lehigh Acres father and son's violent attack on elderly man

    [ad_1]

“When you’re 20 you care what everyone thinks, when you’re 40 you stop caring what everyone thinks, when you’re 60 you realize no one was ever thinking about you in the first place.”

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — For an elderly Lehigh Acres man, this saying boded partly true for him on Saturday night.

Outside of his home and sporting solely underwear on his body while feeding his cats, it turned out his neighbor, 54-year-old Lance Reinoehl Sr., had distasteful thoughts about his semi-bare appearance.

Those thoughts may also have been tipsy — Reinoehl Sr. appeared to be intoxicated when he yelled at the man about his undergarment. He made it clear he wanted to take all his anger out on the man, charging at him… and abruptly falling to the ground in the process.

The elderly man went over to help the drunken man get back on his feet, but was quickly stopped by 28-year-old Lance Reinoehl Jr.

Some might say “like father, like son”. Reinoehl Jr. also evidently disliked the elderly man despite his altruism and generosity. While the man came to his father’s aid, Reinoehl Jr. began violently kicking and punching him. After the initial attack, Reinoehl Sr. decided to join in and throw punches and kicks of his own.

MORE CRIME COVERAGE: 2 arrested after shots fired during whiskey theft altercation at Port Charlotte gas station

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the victim’s home at around 7:24 p.m. The elderly man suffered injuries to his face, arms and legs from the attack.

Both father and son were arrested and charged with aggravated battery. They were taken to the Lee County Jail.

  • Taylor Hill Told Me the #1 Lingerie Trend to Try Right Now

Taylor Hill Told Me the #1 Lingerie Trend to Try Right Now

    [ad_1]

As soon as Halloween is over and the calendar flips over to November, I always think of Mariah Carey’s famous “it’s time” line. What could possibly be a better way to mark the beginning of the holiday season? Well, Victoria’s Secret has an answer. The brand just launched a festive, star-studded campaign with Taylor Hill, Hailey Bieber, Imaan Hammam, Grace Elizabeth, and more. The photos feature the perfect mix of sexy lingerie and cozy, comfy pajamas for the holidays.

I got to chat with one of the campaign stars, Taylor Hill, about all things holiday fashion. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to ask her about her #1 lingerie trend of the moment, and she was quick to give an answer. “We’re already seeing an early emerging trend of lingerie worn as outerwear, and I think this trend will only pick up in popularity in 2024,” Hill told Who What Wear. “It’s amazing to see women define and embrace their sexiness in so many different ways.” This means you’re officially encouraged to wear your corset with jeans, your bra as a top, and your thong with a sheer dress.

I also asked Hill about her favorite pair of PJs. “Long modal pajamas are my favorite in the winter,” she told me. “They’re the perfect way to feel cozy yet put together and I just love how they feel when I lounge around the house. My favorite is Victoria’s Secret’s Modal Long Pajama Set ($70) in the color Lipstick. It’s such a perfect color for the holidays. My sisters and I always love a matching pajama moment throughout the holiday season.”

Switching gears from pajamas to lingerie, I asked Hill about her thoughts on the sexiest new pieces from the holiday line. “The Gold Floral Embroidery pieces are glamorous standouts from the Very Sexy collection. But I also found the long glitter sets in silver and gold to be sexy in an unexpected way—I could totally see me styling these as part of my holiday party looks paired with heels.” Scroll down to shop new arrivals from Victoria’s Secret.

  • Adeola Patronne and Mariam Musa Get Undressed: “You Feel Confident When You Wear Something Sexy” – POPSUGAR Australia

Adeola Patronne and Mariam Musa Get Undressed: “You Feel Confident When You Wear Something Sexy” – POPSUGAR Australia

    [ad_1]

When you need a golden-nugget of unfiltered, empowering advice, Adeola Patronne and Mariam Musa are the ultimate hype girls. The best-friend-duo, and hosts of BBC 1XTRA’s “Pressed” podcast, are known for their hilarious, honest, and fearless take on every group chat dilemma. With their unwavering confidence, it makes total sense that they’ve now stepped out of the recording booth and straight into the new Ann Summers’ Glow Time campaign – and their mission is to make us all feel body confident this party season.

“The campaign is all about empowering women, and Adeola and I have our podcast where we are very open and talk about things like sex and relationships, so it’s just really on brand for us. It feels so nice to be a part of it,” Mariam tells POPSUGAR. Wearing an array of ultra glam lingerie sets in black lace and jewel-toned green in the campaign, the pair ooze a confidence that’s not always easy to come by. Yet they have a belief that these major opportunities are meant to be.

“I’m not sure if this is main character syndrome to be like ‘I inspire myself’, but I do think it’s important to believe in yourself and know what you’re capable of doing.”

“It’s several-pinch-me moments. When I was growing up, Ann Summers was one of the first places that I would save up my money and buy for special occasions,” Mariam adds. “My younger self would be screaming – she’d also be like, ‘yes I knew it, I knew you were meant to do this, and this is just the beginning, don’t forget it and just keep going’.”

They both found success on Youtube and now boast a combined following of over two million across all social platforms, Adeola, 29, and Mariam, 28, are proof that if you back yourself, anything can happen. “I love a lot of people’s work like Maya Jama and Amelia Dimoldenberg. I’m not sure if this is main character syndrome to be like ‘I inspire myself’, but I do think it’s important to believe in yourself and know what you’re capable of doing,” says Mariam.

Their positivity is undoubtedly infectious, but that’s not to say they don’t have the odd wobble, too. “There’s been times when I’ve wanted to give up. But at the same time, you can’t let that demotivate you. Don’t let that take away your confidence to try something else,” Adeola says.

With their natural banter and magnetic bond, you’d be forgiven for thinking their friendship goes way back, but really their closeness grew more recently. “We’ve known each other for a while, but the past three years is when we started getting really close and actively started to learn about each other and open up,” Mariam says. “If I’m stressed out I know Adeola will understand and vice versa. We have periods where we will talk every single day for hours and then we have times where we don’t talk for a couple of days and we’ll have a good catch up.”

While an innate sense of confidence is key, surrounding yourself with those who build you up is essential, too. And that’s what the pair have found in each other. “Having someone you can talk to, that understands what you are going through, and makes you feel like ‘ok, I’m not crazy’, makes a difference and it’s why I appreciate Maz [Mariam] a lot,” Adeola tells us.

With social media at the centre of their careers, it’s inevitable they’ve faced negativity on the platforms, but have both found coping mechanisms to help manage it. “I deactivated Twitter [now X] before I went on holiday. Sometimes it’s a lot and I think it’s important to have breaks. Your mental health and what you consume is important, so I’ll block certain words, mute things, and just switch off,” says Mariam. “I’ll put my phone on ‘do not disturb’,” says Adeola.

“[W]hen I do wear a sexy set, I just feel like I can perform. It’s an ego boost and you just feel so sexy.”

While their outlook on life is in sync, so is their style. “We’ll often see each other and we are wearing the exact same thing or something really similar,” Adeola says, who even inspired Mariam with her underwear, too. “Adeola is someone that always matches, as it makes you feel confident every day when you wear something that’s sexy – and you never know what’s going to happen either!” Mariam teases. “I’m usually a thong girl, but when I do wear a sexy set, I just feel like I can perform. It’s an ego boost and you just feel so sexy.”

As they both plan to head home to Nigeria for Christmas and New Year, they’ll be taking their favourite party season lingerie with them. “My favourite is the emerald two-piece corset, I love anything with a suspender belt,” Mariam says. For Adeola, “the Euphoria body with the chain is one of my favourites. It just gives dominance.” Suddenly, we feel the need to up our underwear game . . .

The Ann Summers Glow Time collection is available to shop online and in store with prices ranging from £6 to £60.

  • Anitta Shows Off Her Butt Tattoo in a Savage X Fenty Mesh Thong

As POPSUGAR editors, we independently select and write about stuff we love and think you’ll like too. If you buy a product we have recommended, we may receive affiliate commission, which in turn supports our work.

Anitta is one of the many stars who have fronted Savage X Fenty by Rihanna campaigns for the inclusive lingerie brand. The 30-year-old musician’s latest photo series showcases the Midnight Sweat collection, which comes in flashy blue metallic colorways and features appliqué details with high-shine florals. While the full range also includes athletic wear, such as sports bras and leggings, and even some athleisure pieces cut from liquid-effect cloth and replete with cutouts and ruching, it’s the lingerie that feels most masterful.

Posing on a porch with a tropical setting as her backdrop, Anitta leans over the banister to reveal must-see details, from the strappy triangle insert on her mesh thong to the numerous gold body chains she clasped around her waist to highlight her curves and butt tattoo. Her red hair is parted at the sides and curled at the ends, making for a very glamorous moment.

On Instagram, the Savage X Fenty team demonstrated how to get her look, which involves slicing and tying the Knight Shift mesh tee at the front, then pulling the sleeves off the shoulders. While Anitta’s own ensemble is stylized to a T, with a diamond-encrusted shapely cuff, a single neck-grazing starburst earring, chunky rings, and blue gemstone hoops, the shirt covering her co-ords is meant to be casual — and it’s clearly a fan-favorite given all the positive comments left on the how-to video.

Most recently, the “Mil Veces” singer wore skin-revealing outfits in her music video, which also stars Måneskin’s Damiano David as her love interest.

Ahead, catch a few more angles of Anitta’s Savage X Fenty campaign, and shop her exact designs, along with similar bras, panties, and babydolls that would help you achieve the same look.

In addition to being an in-demand actress, singer, performer, and designer, Jennifer Lopez is enjoying her role as Intimissmi‘s global ambassador. Announcing the role in a press release in March 2023, the Italian intimates company said they chose to work with Lopez because she embodies women empowerment and “modern sexiness.”

In the accompanying photo shoot, for the Spring 2023 campaign, Lopez modeled the Pretty Flowers Sofia balconette bra in flame scarlet, digital turquoise, and valentine pink. It comes embroidered with ivory blooms across the lightly-padded mesh cups and along the elegant trim. The coordinates include a matching see-through lace panty, though Lopez mixed and matched various other satin-silk pajama pieces in the Chris Colls-lensed photos. The shoot inspiration? A dreamy Italian summer evoked through bold colors that represent Positano.

Lopez also commented on her partnership with Intimissimi in the release, stating: “I love Italy – the people, the fashion, the culture, the food and the storied history. When I discovered Intimissimi, I was immediately drawn to their precious silks, romantic lace, beautiful cuts, flattering fits and intricate designs. I’m proud to be an Intimissimi woman and honored that they view me as someone who emulates their own qualities of confident, lively and strong.”

She wears the brand for personal photo shoots as well — both to tease her upcoming projects and to show off tributes to husband Affleck, such as her “Mrs” nameplate necklace that she styled with a black set back in November of 2022.

Most recently, she debuted a co-designed capsule with the brand titled “This Is Me…Now” as a nod to her upcoming album of the same name. The collection, which includes a black halter cutout bra, lace teddies embellished with chains, and silk camisole sets, represents Lopez’s “evolution,” according to a press release.

Ahead, see every time Jennifer Lopez posed in Intimissimi lingerie.

  • So Apparently Underwear Is Outerwear Now — Just Ask Kendall Jenner and Julia Fox

So Apparently Underwear Is Outerwear Now — Just Ask Kendall Jenner and Julia Fox

    [ad_1]

Celebrities are bringing their best lingerie out from under. In one of the more bizarre fashion trends to hit Hollywood, stars are choosing to style their underwear as outerwear, giving their skivvies a turn in the spotlight. The look — most recently worn by Julia Fox out and about in New York City — is not only a convenient way to show off your favorite underwear, but also a clever ploy to get the most wear out of expensive designer undies.

The underwear-as-outerwear pipeline started out modestly enough, finding its roots in the nostalgic visible-thong trend, before pushing the boundaries even further with the no-pants wave. As more and more pants left the chat, celebrities got creative with their waist-down dressing, rocking everything from nude briefs to sheer tights. Now, it seems the trend may have finally reached its peak, leading stars to view underwear as an agent of fashion rather than function.

Kendall Jenner wasn’t the first celebrity to step out with underwear over her clothes, but she did make headlines for doing so in a formal setting, attending the 2023 Met Gala afterparty in a sparkly sequin romper with a black thong layered over top. A year prior, Kylie Jenner also showed love to the blossoming trend, arriving at Paris Fashion Week with classic Loewe briefs worn over her black tights. Fox went a more whimsical route with her monochromatic ensemble, wearing high-cut ruffled bloomers over matching white pants. Still, the sheer variety in all of these outfits proves the trend can be achieved with just about any kind of underwear. Read on to see more celebrities wearing underwear over their clothes . . . in the name of fashion, of course.
