  • I'm Convinced That This $20 H&M Accessory Is the Secret to Looking Rich

I'm Convinced That This $20 H&M Accessory Is the Secret to Looking Rich

    [ad_1]

There are certain items that fashion girls just know will take an outfit from 0 to 100, or better yet, from $50 to $5000. But unlike some people, I don’t like to gatekeep. In fact, I’m so gabby, I can hardly keep anything in for long. And of all the outfit-making pieces that myself and the rest of this industry swear by to elevate any and every ensemble, none do the job as well as a good belt—period.

Because of my sharing nature, this story was my first stop after I stumbled across what I can only describe as the chicest and most designer-looking belt on the market, an item that just so happens to cost only $20 and be in stock in every size. Courtesy of H&M, the belt in question is crafted out of a subtle croc-effect black faux leather with gold, Western-style hardware. And while it only just dropped, given how nothing lives on the shelves at H&M for long—trust me, I’ve been burned by the retailer’s speedy sell outs more than once—it is essential that you and I both act fast if scoring the below waist embellisher is a priority, which it certainly should be. Scroll down to snag one before it’s too late.

  • My Sweater Drawer Is Bursting, But I’m Making Room for These Pretty Zara Knits

My Sweater Drawer Is Bursting, But I’m Making Room for These Pretty Zara Knits

    [ad_1]

Of all the beautiful things Zara consistently has for us to buy, it might be knitwear that we look forward to the most each fall and winter. As an editor, it’s practically in my job description to browse the site daily—and, believe it or not, I get a bit giddy when the weather starts to cool down and I let myself shop in the cold-weather-essentials department, despite the fact that my closet and dressers are literally bursting at the seams. What’s a few more sweaters to add to the collection?

Right now, there are well over 500 Zara sweaters to chose from, and since it’s a bit ridiculous to expect you to look at every single one of them, I did the hard work for you. That meant browsing almost 41 pages of cardigans, sweaters, and pullovers to pick out the best 31. It wasn’t an easy task, dear Zara lover, but I did it just for you. (You’re welcome!)

Keep scrolling to shop them all.

49 Under $49: The Expensive-Looking Winter Finds That Are Actually Affordable

    [ad_1]

While every season poses its own challenges in terms of styling outfits and shopping, I find winter to be one of the most difficult. Of course, being an L.A. native now living on the East Coast doesn’t help, but I will say I’m proud of how far I’ve come in the last seven or so years in terms of learning how to dress for actually cold weather while maintaining some semblance of my personal style. It wasn’t easy, but I’ve finally learned what works and doesn’t work, as well as what pieces are essential (such as scarves) and which simply should be skipped (think: ankle-bearing pants).

Speaking of those essential items—today, I’ve found the most expensive-looking versions of this year’s key winter basics and trends, all under $49. From jeans and jackets to boots, knits, and everything in between, below you’ll find nearly 50 outfit upgraders that won’t break the bank but will have you looking like a million bucks. • These $20 H&M Sandals Are Giving Too Strong of Khaite Vibes to Not Sell Out

These $20 H&M Sandals Are Giving Too Strong of Khaite Vibes to Not Sell Out

    [ad_1]

I’ve long been adamant about my love for heels of all kinds and my general avoidance of flats whenever possible. So, you can imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon a $20 pair of utterly heel-less strappy sandals on H&M’s website that I not only wanted but literally had to have. Minimal in shape but loud in terms of their print—the sandals are snakeskin, a trend I’ve already coined *the* animal print of 2023—the cost-effective sandals were shockingly alluring to a heel lover like me.

Naturally, I did further research in order to try and zero in on what exactly about H&M’s newest sandals caught my eye, only to remember that Khaite—one of the fashion set’s most desired labels, not to mention a personal favorite of mine—made a similar pair for spring. Though the H&M pair doesn’t feature quite as many luxurious details as the Khaite ones do, they do cost more than $700 less whilst still giving off the same overall aesthetic, so my interest in them shouldn’t be all that startling.

I’d be willing to bet that I’m not the only anti-flats fashion person with a soft spot for these H&M sandals, meaning that the likelihood of them staying in stock is next to none. Shop them while you still can below.

  • The $15 Nordstrom Item I Ran Directly Home to Buy After Tory Burch’s NYFW Show

The $15 Nordstrom Item I Ran Directly Home to Buy After Tory Burch’s NYFW Show

    [ad_1]

For the second season running, Tory Burch’s New York Fashion Week show has been one of if not *the* most talked-about of all. Burch’s S/S 23 collection shocked attendees who thought they knew the Tory Burch look, with its unique color and fabric pairings, unexpected styling, and hyper-elevated overall aesthetic. For F/W 23, the buzz around NYFW was all about whether or not her next offering would live up to the hype created six months prior. And now that we’ve all had time to ruminate on all 36 looks, the results are in. She not only succeeded in meeting our high expectations; she exceeded them.

Though I could write an entire dissertation about the strength of Burch’s fall collection, I’ve decided to instead keep things short and sweet by zeroing in on one item included in almost every look that had my fellow editors and I heading straight for the Nordstrom app to get in on the trend. If you don’t already know, I’m talking about fishnet tights, which Burch styled with flats, heels, and boots throughout the show. Once considered anti-chic in fashion circles, the holy hosiery is officially back in our good graces. And after scrolling through Nordstrom, I found the perfect $15 pair to welcome fishnets back into my wardrobe.

Scroll down to shop the micro-trend, and see how Burch styled it in her latest show.

The Low-Cost, High-Joy Gift Guide: 76 Under-$40 Gifts That Leave Everyone Happy

    [ad_1]

There’s a commonly used “law” of business that promises the following: Nothing can be fast, good, and cheap all at the same time. It can be fast and cheap but not good; good and cheap but not fast; fast and good but not cheap. No matter what, there’s something you have to sacrifice. But after Who What Wear’s team of experts put their heads together ahead of the holiday season, one thing became clear. Whoever came up with this theory hadn’t met us or, better yet, shopped for the gifts we spend the majority of November sourcing. If they had, they’d see quite clearly that this particular law of business isn’t without exceptions. The 76 gifts below are proof enough of that.

Fast, good, and cheap (like under-$40 cheap) are three words that describe to a T every one of the gift ideas featured ahead. From premeasured Sicilian sea salt that your foodiest friend will delight over to a table-top loom that’ll get the creative juices flowing for your right-brained family member, the presents you’re about to see and shop are destined to spark joy in whoever unwraps them.
