I’m Not a Heel Person, But These 32 Under-$100 Pairs Are Too Good to Pass Up

    [ad_1]

As a self-professed member of the sneakers-only club, I’m willing to share a little secret. I love the way heels look. Although it takes some convincing to get me out of the house, it takes even more persuasion to get me out in heels. I’m a “comfort over everything” type of person, but sometimes, if the shoe fits, I’ll wear it—literally.

While Who What Wear editors love their tried-and-true trendy heels and platforms, some of the best picks aren’t nearly as expensive as they look. Case in point: these under-$100 heels that I’ve vowed to break my “no stilettos during the week” rule for. From trendy metallics to runway-inspired silhouettes, these 32 finds are anything but unattainable. Shop the best affordable heels below.

  • I Think These Elevated Basics Are Peak Cool, and You Can Get Them for Under $100

I Think These Elevated Basics Are Peak Cool, and You Can Get Them for Under $100

    [ad_1]

Basics are essential items to any wardrobe, mostly because they’re so versatile. They can be paired with other items (including statement pieces and other basics) no matter your personal style. If you find yourself scrambling to put outfits together even though you own a wardrobe full of clothes, it may be time to invest in some reliable basics such as tank tops, shirts, and dress pants. Owning some of these staples is also essential if you are looking to build a capsule wardrobe, a tightly edited selection of clothing that will last and can be worn for any occasion.

Just because they are called basics doesn’t mean these items have to be boring. A simple tank top can be designed in a variety of cuts, styles, and colorways. I selected essential pieces that will elevate any outfit, from black body-con dresses to blazers and slip skirts. And as it just so happens, there are a lot of options to choose from under the $100 price mark. Scroll down to find my top picks.

  • I Just Scored the Perfect $60 Alt For Khaite’s Hyper-Chic $1600 Slouchy Bag

I Just Scored the Perfect $60 Alt For Khaite’s Hyper-Chic $1600 Slouchy Bag

    [ad_1]

I’ve never been a huge handbag person, often preferring to instead indulge in fancy shoes, outerwear, and dresses (but mostly shoes). So, when a bag does come around that really and truly catches my eye, it’s kind of a big deal. Such was exactly the case when I first spotted Khaite’s Olivia bag, a super-slouchy, circular handbag that comes in leather, suede, and most chic of all, patent. Carried by celebs like Elsa Hosk and Lily Aldridge, the purse is one of today’s most-wanted, only making me want it more.

There’s just one catch. With it’s awe-worthy aesthetic comes a hefty price tag—a $1,600 one, specifically. And between holiday-gift shopping and my own Black Friday–induced spending, my 2022 budget is pretty much closed for business. What is within my limit, however, is the $60 Mango alt I discovered on my last scroll through the affordable brand’s accessories department. And when a find this good comes along, it’d be wrong of me not to share it.

Keep scrolling to shop the $60 slouchy bag from Mango that I’m buying to get the Khaite look this season for less.

  • Lucy Boynton’s $98 Ring Is Absolutely My Next Jewelry Purchase

Lucy Boynton’s $98 Ring Is Absolutely My Next Jewelry Purchase

    [ad_1]

While the average fashion consumer may have very little in common with the celebs who provide endless style inspiration, we can agree on one thing: affordable jewelry is a fun way to accessorize. Take actress and former Who What Wear cover star Lucy Boynton, who was spotted wearing a lacey black dress by ShuShu Tong and several pieces of gold jewelry at a screening of The Pale Blue Eyes in London. One ring caught our eye—the enamel coated heart with blue sapphires worn on Boynton’s middle finger—and we were delighted to discover that it is made by the direct-to-consumer jewelry brand, Mejuri.

Known for its delicate fine and semi-fine pieces, Mejuri offers gold and gold vermeil jewelry that the wearer is encouraged to purchase as a gift to themselves. With hundreds of pieces under $100—including Boynton’s ring—there will be no problem finding something special to unwrap for yourself this season.

The tough part, of course, is picking just one. We’ve pulled 12 of Mejuri’s best rings for you to browse below, including Boynton’s exact style. We won’t judge if you end up buying a ring for each finger. Just don’t forget: Mejuri has gorgeous earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, too.

  • 28 Lovely Nordstrom Items That Are Under $100 But Look Triple the Price

28 Lovely Nordstrom Items That Are Under $100 But Look Triple the Price

    [ad_1]

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again—I’m a really good Nordstrom shopper. I don’t have a lot of patience, generally speaking, but when it comes to sifting through the nearly endless pages of products on the retailer’s site, I have come to find it rather soothing. My best advice and secret to staying on top of everything on Nordstrom is to regularly check in on the new-arrivals section. It’s here I spot some of the best products before anyone else simply because I’m willing to take the time to go through it all.

Well, I am here to report that this week’s new arrivals are truly a step above the rest. As I was perusing the site, I came across so many under-$100 items that not only motivated me to instantly hit “add to cart” but that looked way more expensive than they actually were. It’s without exaggeration that I say when I saw all of the Nordstrom items below, I would have guessed they were at least triple the price. So what does that mean for you? That you can build an expensive-looking wardrobe with pieces that are less than $100 right here, right now.
