I remember my high school’s UGG craze vividly. Back then, UGG boots were the ultimate fashion statement, often paired with Victoria’s Secret fold-over yoga pants and extra-long T-shirts. At the time, I stayed away from the look, either because I was attempting to appear unfazed by such a massive trend or because my parents balked at the high price tag of the hot-ticket items. But flash to the present, and UGG boots have caught my eye once again. Just recently, I scooped up the UGG Classic Mini II Boots ($105-$160, originally $160) in the light-brown color called Chestnut, and now I understand the hype. Ahead, I break down everything you need to know about them before deciding if you want to add them to your virtual shopping cart.

What I Like About the UGG Classic Mini II Boots

I was well aware of UGG’s reputation for comfort before trying the brand’s bestselling Classic Mini II Boots for myself, but experiencing them firsthand is something else entirely. As cliché as it sounds, wearing these boots genuinely feels like walking on clouds. They boast a thick sheepskin lining that strikes the perfect balance between warmth and comfort without making my feet sweaty. Although I wear them as everyday footwear, they outshine even my coziest slippers when it comes to comfort.

Another thing I like about them is their height. One challenge I’ve faced with tall winter boots is the awkward bulkiness that’s inevitably visible when styled with long pants. That’s not an issue with these boots, though, because they’re only five inches tall, landing comfortably at my ankles. I love wearing them with jeans, sweatpants, and even activewear leggings. My countless Pinterest scrolls have inspired me to style them with tall white socks peeking out of the top for a modern look, but they also work over flared leggings for a laid-back vibe.

What’s Worth Noting About the UGG Classic Mini II Boots

My sole critique of the UGG Classic Mini II Boots is that their shorter height narrows the space for slipping your foot inside, so they’re a little more difficult to put on. However, I’ve found that sitting down and guiding my foot into the boot while pulling upwards on the back heel tab makes them pretty easy to put on. While this hasn’t diminished how much I love them, it’s an important detail to highlight, especially for people facing mobility challenges. I’m not the only person who’s noted this, either. While the vast majority of reviews are overwhelmingly positive, many who gave them a lower rating highlighted this detail.

Who Are the UGG Classic Mini II Boots For?

The UGG Classic Mini II Boots are great for anyone who wants to fuse style and comfort. They pair seamlessly with jeans, sweatpants, and leggings and also work as house slippers for those who prefer boots with traction over traditional slide slippers.

Where Are the UGG Classic Mini II Boots Available?

The UGG Classic Mini II Boots are available on Amazon, as well as at Nordstrom and direct-to-consumer from the brand’s website.

Additional Details About the UGG Classic Mini II Boots

    • They come in 20 (!) different colors.
    • They’re available for free two-day shipping with Amazon Prime.
    • They only come in whole sizes. If you’re between sizes, the brand recommends ordering a half-size down from your usual size.

It’s no secret that UGG boots cost a pretty penny—whether you’re eyeing the brand’s nostalgic boots or cozy slippers. But if you’re unable to shell out $160 for the Classic Mini II Boot, you’re in luck because the No.1 best-seller in Amazon’s Women’s Snow Boots category is a pair of UGG alternatives.

They’re not just any look-alike; these will ring you up for a mere $40. Compare that to the O.G.’s $160 price tag, and your mind should already be made up. CLPP’LI’s Classic Mini Winter Snow Boots
come in sizes 6 through 10 in three versatile colors: Tan, Black, and Grey.

The UGG alternatives from Amazon feature a fully fur-lined interior and a rubber, anti-slip sole. Not to mention, they’re machine washable (can’t say the same for UGGs)!

Wondering how these boots made it to the No.1 spot on Amazon’s Women’s Snow Boots list and No.2 on Amazon’s Movers & Shakers page for Clothing, Shoes, and Jewelry? It’ll only take a few glowing reviews from shoppers to understand the hype.

“They are so soft on the inside, very comfortable, and look just like UGGs
,” wrote one reviewer. “They seem very well made and the bottoms are a super nice actual boot rubber. So so happy with these. Would definitely recommend them.”

Another five-star shopper raved, “The fit on these is perfect. I like the little tab on the back that helps me to pull them on. The style is nice and they’re very warm. They’re lightweight but waterproof and feel sturdy.”

“I love these! I didn’t want to spend a couple hundred dollars on the UGG boots that everyone is wearing, especially to only wear them half the year. So I bought these and I have been pleasantly surprised. They were one of the cheaper options here on Amazon but still are very high-quality,” explained another one. As for how they deal with spills, the same reviewer continued, “I have spilled coffee on them and the stains come right out
with just water. I try to avoid puddles in these just to stay dry, but they dry pretty quickly even when they get wet. I would buy these again in the future or even just have another color.”

Whether you’re on the hunt for an inside-only shoe to wear at home or a casual boot to run errands in, you can’t go wrong with these UGG alternatives from Amazon
. They cost an entire $120 less than the originals, and that alone should be enough of a reason to drop them into your shopping cart, stat.

Sophie Turner Just Made Uggs Look Elegant at the Airport—Here's How

    [ad_1]

Up until very recently, I pretty much only wore Uggs to walk the dog and go to Pilates classes. But after wearing them for a long car trip earlier this month and finding them to be glorious, I’m adding travel days to my list of places where I wear Uggs. And Sophie Turner’s recent styling of a pair of Uggs for a flight has me even more convinced.

Turner was recently photographed at the airport wearing an Ugg outfit that was downright elegant. As cool as Uggs are, it isn’t that easy to make them look elegant, given how casual they are. The pair the Turner opted for was the brand’s wildly popular platform Tazz Slippers. She paired them with straight-leg jeans and a long black coat. As you’ll see, the coat ensured that she looked completely polished, even though she was wearing shoes with “slippers” in the name.

So, the moral of the story is that if you want to make Uggs look chicer for travel days (or any day), just pair them with a long wool coat. Done and done. Scroll on to shop Ugg slippers and a few coats that would look great with them.

The $160 Uggs I'm Buying to Mimic Kelly Rutherford's Viral Winter Outfits

    [ad_1]

Apparently, I’m not the only one who’s recently become a super fan. “Out of all the original Gossip Girl cast members, I don’t know why I didn’t think to follow Kelly more closely,” Brooklyn-based freelance fashion editor Cortne Bonilla explains over DM. “A few weeks ago, I came across her Instagram profile after one of my favorites brands, By Malene Birger, reposted an ensemble of hers,” she continues. “In the age of mass girlhood, it’s so refreshing to see a woman of a certain age embracing personal style, experimentation, and emerging brands.” For her, it’s Rutherford’s very personal sense of style that drew her in. “Kelly doesn’t dress for a trend or age, she dresses for herself—you can tell by her mixture of the old and the new, the classic and the experimental.”

On her feed, one will find a mix of just-released outerwear from the aforementioned Danish brand that fashion girls regularly obsess over to casual yet luxe knitwear. Most of her looks are colored in a palette of quiet-luxury neutrals, from camel to ivory, with touches of navy, black, and brown for good measure. Every article of clothing is glamorous yet nonchalant, making each of the actress’s outfits more than worth copying.

If celebrity street style is any sort of indicator regarding what’s cool and trendy in the world of fashion, then UGG platform slippers might be the most popular style this season. The cozy shoes certainly aren’t new to mainstream fashion, but with celebrities like Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, and Hailey Bieber constantly donning the slippers — whether it be while trotting around New York or in between red carpet events and Pilates classes — the comfy shoes have definitely ascended into a new realm of popularity (and I’m not the least bit mad about it).

In fact, I’ve been so mesmerized by the overwhelming love that celebrities have for the UGG Tasman Slippers ($100-$200) in particular, I decided to purchase a pair for myself to see how well they really hold up in my day-to-day life. Could I get away with wearing them to the grocery store? Are they durable enough to hold up on my evening walks? Do they truly look good on everyone, or are they just cute on Hadid? (This is actually a recurring thought in my day-to-day life.) These were just a few of the questions I sought to answer when testing out UGG’s bestselling slippers, and ahead, I break down my full experience with the shoe — including how they fit, where they’re available to shop, and whether they’re truly worth the splurge (spoiler alert: they totally are).

What I Like About These UGG Slippers

The obvious appeal of these shoes is just how comfy they are — and yes, they’re as irresistibly soft and cushiony as you’d imagine. The style boasts a durable leather composition that’s sturdy but not too firm to the point where it feels uncomfortable to wear them. Dyed sheep fur lines the inside of the style, and while it certainly creates a cozier feel, I appreciate that the material isn’t too thick or overbearing to the point that my feet start to feel sweaty. Unlike other everyday slippers, this style has a rubber sole base that’s thick and designed to last, so I don’t have to worry about whether it can withstand being worn on surfaces like concrete, tile, or grass — it holds up well and has just enough of a platform that the slipper’s material doesn’t dirty when being worn beyond my apartment. I love that these shoes seamlessly blend comfort with functionality and the fact that they’re versatile enough to be worn in a number of environments, such as running errands, grabbing brunch, going to and from the gym, or even just around my home.

    POPSUGAR Photography | Kyley Warren

    What’s Worth Noting

I’ve had these slippers for almost eight months now, so I’ve had plenty of time to break them in. Because I work from home and generally only wear them inside or whenever I need to run a quick errand outside of my apartment, I’m not wearing them super extensively, which is why I’ve been pretty surprised by how worn down the inside of the shoe feels, particularly around the toe area. I’ve definitely noticed a change in the cushioning of the shoe, as the inside lining feels more worn down (almost like it’s disintegrating or caving into itself), and several knots have even started forming toward the upper sole of the slipper, making it feel bumpy when I walk. It’s difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of this, especially considering I’ve owned a handful of UGG boots in the past and never had any issue with them before. Perhaps this is simply the nature of what happens when you wear a pair of slippers as frequently as I do — things do eventually have to wear down, after all. However, it’s worth noting that if you want these slippers to be a mainstay in your closet, you’ll likely have to factor in buying a new pair every year — at least if you plan on wearing them as regularly as I do.

Who Are These UGG Slippers Best For?

If you want a pair of shoes you can comfortably wear around the house, out to run errands, or even for a quick walk through the neighborhood, these UGG slippers are a worthwhile investment. I appreciate their versatility and the fact that besides being a great everyday shoe, they’re also incredibly comfortable and easy to slip into — even if I’m in a rush or literally running out the door.

    Additional Details

    • These everyday slippers are crafted in a dyed sheep fur material and feature a rubbed sole base that’s designed to be worn outdoors.
    • The shoes are available to shop in a handful of colors, including chestnut brown (my coloring of choice), dark gray, samba red, burnt olive, and more.
    • The UGG slippers come in US women’s sizes 5 through 11.

Where Are These UGG Slippers Available to Shop?

The UGG Tasman Slippers are available to shop at Amazon, Anthropologie ($110), and Zappos ($110).

It’s like they never left. With the 2000s slowly creeping back into our closets, UGG boots are having a major resurgence, and we’re happy to report that this season’s comfiest shoe is also a celebrity favorite. Some of the biggest champions of the UGG renaissance include Bella Hadid, whose cool-girl styling of platform UGGs and slouchy white socks is now permanently seared into our brains. Keke Palmer, meanwhile, wore low-rise platform UGGs with her denim-on-denim ensemble at New York Fashion Week.

UGGs originally built a following rooted in coziness, but this time around, they also have aesthetic appeal. New releases like the Dipper boot, promoted by Cardi B and Natalia Bryant, feature trendy platform soles with a form-fitting design, contouring the foot like Balenciaga’s viral sock-sneakers. And while you can still get your hands on plush UGG slippers for at-home comfort, celebrities are now marketing the boots in particular as a legitimate form of streetwear.

Lori Harvey, for example, paired the Dipper boot with a purple cargo miniskirt and casual white tank top. Vanessa Hudgens also broke out the UGGs for her Bachelorette trip to Aspen, going the more functional route with wool-lined hiking boots but still playing to UGG’s latest era with an oversize baseball jersey and leggings.

The celebrity consensus wants us to believe that the boots are new and improved, but if you ask us, UGGs were always a wardrobe staple. It’s just that now, more people are giving them the respect they deserve. Read on to shop some of the buzziest styles celebrities are already loving this winter.

All I Need to Copy Blake Lively’s Chic Fall Uniform Is This Under-$150 Cardigan

    [ad_1]

Maybe it’s just my imagination, but I feel like the minute that fall weather comes back around in New York City, Blake Lively and Taylor Swift turn on, getting photographed together all the time in effortless autumnal looks that I always want to copy for the entirety of the season. And this year is hardly an exception. In the last few weeks, we’ve seen tons of the two best friends, and just as they always do, both have been showing up in outfits worthy of pressing Control + C on.

Their latest sighting came when the duo was photographed leaving Bradley Cooper’s apartment on Thursday, with Lively and Swift going their separate ways afterward. It was at that moment of separation that I noticed just how good the Gossip Girl actress’s chunky cardigan was—and just how much I needed one for my own wardrobe. Specifically, she wore an oat-colored, shawl-neck cardigan sweater with a matching tee, baggy jeans, UGG slippers from the brand’s collaboration with Opening Ceremony, and a denim Chanel flap bag.

Though I’ve unfortunately been unable to ID her exact knit—I get the feeling that it was stolen from Ryan Reynolds’s side of the closet—I did find a $140 Banana Republic alt that’ll more than get the job done. Shop it and more fall cardigans below.

These Ugg Boots Are Low-Key Kinda Grunge—Snag a Pair While You Still Can

    [ad_1]

In case you haven’t noticed, the grunge look is permeating every facet of the fashion industry, resulting in celebrities and influencers alike outfitting themselves in beaten-up leather and distressed denim. But of all the wardrobe items getting the grunge treatment, boots are, by far, the most popular. It all started with Miu Miu’s buckle boots that immediately went viral online after debuting on the brand’s F/W 22 runway, eventually selling out once they became available roughly six months later. To this day, they’re pretty much impossible to get your hands on. As a result, buckled boots of all shapes, colors, price points, and styles are popping up across the web, with the coolest and comfiest arriving on my screen just this morning.

The pair in question is from—drumroll, please—Ugg, and my editor senses are screaming at me to pay attention to them. Called the Ultra Mini Belted Roller Boots, the just-dropped style is an iteration of the brand’s famous and often-sold-out Classic Ultra Mini Platform Boots. They have a slightly edgier air to them resulting from a metal buckle along the top of the boots and shearling details that peek out from the inside. Like their predecessor, these feature a two-inch platform, but unlike them, they’re actually in stock—specifically in Chestnut and Black, the most-wanted shades of the original platforms.

Before the Belted Rollers sell out like all the other platform Ugg boots, scroll down to snag a pair. Trust me. When they’re impossible to find, you’ll seriously regret not trusting your gut and acting on this opportunity.

The Indigenous-Owned Brands Quannah Chasinghorse Is Shopping Right Now

    UGG

As POPSUGAR editors, we independently select and write about stuff we love and think you’ll like too. If you buy a product we have recommended, we may receive affiliate commission, which in turn supports our work.

On a crisp autumn day in Southern California, Quannah Chasinghorse sits relaxed on a folded chair that’s tucked into the corner of an old, two-story wooden barn. A square window behind the 20-year-old model frames the lush landscape, which is dotted by rolling hills and green treetops.

“This place is amazing,” Chasinghorse tells POPSUGAR, admiring the view. Known as the White Buffalo Land Trust in Santa Barbara County, this picturesque setting is where people can learn how to practice and promote the use of regenerative agriculture. This conservation-led approach to farming systems increases biodiversity and mitigates the effects of climate change. In short: Regenerative agriculture puts the planet first — it works to give back what it takes from Mother Nature.

“If you want to capture me in my element and want me to feel like myself, bring me out to the land somewhere,” Chasinghorse says. “Somewhere away from the city, somewhere quiet, somewhere where I can just be surrounded by the wilderness.”

The land trust is the perfect backdrop for Chasinghorse’s fashion campaign with UGG. The beloved early aughts footwear favorite released its first style produced in part using regeneratively-sourced materials: the Classic Mini Regenerate boot. The product is Land to Market Verified, and the materials come from Atkins Ranch, a ranch cared for with regenerative traditions to help restore soil, encourage wildlife diversity, capture carbon in the ground, and preserve the land for future generations.

It’s so important to highlight the actual Indigenous makers. Because I think an issue that we come across a lot […] is cultural appropriation […] with Halloween costumes and headdresses at Coachella.

Through being the face of UGG’s new campaign, Chasinghorse inadvertently discovered a new piece of personal history. Chasinghorse’s Indigenous ancestry is Hän Gwich’in (from Alaska and Canada) and Oglala Lakota (from South Dakota). As it turns out, the roots of White Buffalo Land Trust date back to the year 2001, when two White Buffalo were born into a herd in Colorado. The buffalo calves were sisters and intended for sale to a casino until a group of Oglala Lakota relatives intervened.

“It’s incredible that this place was founded because my tribe, back in the day, rescued some white buffalo and had asked these people to use this land to save these white buffalo, to raise them, and to just let them roam free,” she says. “It was so cool for me to figure it out through a brand. It connected and aligned with me, not just as a model and an activist, but as a person.” She discusses her culture more in the documentary, “Our America: Reclaiming Turtle Island.”

She’s also excited about the opportunity to center indigenous fashion brands she loves. “It’s so important to highlight the actual Indigenous makers,” she says. “Because I think an issue that we come across a lot — really across the board if you’re BIPOC — is cultural appropriation. And with Indigenous communities, it’s especially rampant with Halloween costumes and headdresses at Coachella.”

Ahead, Chasinghorse goes into greater detail about her longtime affinity for UGG, plus some of the Indigenous-owned brands she’s regularly shopping from right now.

“Beaders like Antelope Women Designs — it’s so important to highlight the actual Indigenous makers. Because I think an issue that we come across a lot — really across the board if you’re BIPOC — is cultural appropriation. And with Indigenous communities, it’s especially rampant with Halloween costumes and headdresses at Coachella.”

While UGG was long known for its “ugly” shoes, the brand’s comfortable footwear has quickly become a fashion-industry favorite. In recent years, celebrities and supermodels alike popularized the ultimate off-duty slippers and mini platform boots. Now, UGG’s soon-to-be It shoe is the Dipper Boot, which just launched during New York Fashion Week in September.

Similar to the popular platform style, the Dipper boots have a thick, heightening sole, but with a calf-hugging silhouette and sock-like design. And unlike other UGG classics, these feature a little pop of color — the Chestnut version has a neon-orange pull tab, while the black one has a yellow tag on the back. The Dipper is certainly the brand’s trendiest shoe to date, paying tribute to iterations from high-fashion counterparts like Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga. While stylish, the footwear still remains true to UGG’s signature elements like its suede material and snug plush lining. Admittedly, I wasn’t on board for the resurgence of the original tall UGGs, but these I can get behind.

Fashion girls like Lori Harvey and Emily Ratajkowski have already been spotted pairing the boots with casual streetwear in New York City, while Cardi B and Natalia Bryant collaborated with the brand to promote the shoe’s initial release.

With cold weather fast approaching, it’s time to invest in boots appropriate for the upcoming season. You might remember the mini platforms swiftly became near impossible to find, so now’s your chance to get ahead of the trend before it sells out. Shop UGG’s new Dipper boots below, and see how celebrities have already styled the chic yet cozy shoe.

  • The Next It Uggs Are Here, and They Represent a Major Fall Boot Trend

The Next It Uggs Are Here, and They Represent a Major Fall Boot Trend

    [ad_1]

Just like clockwork, each September (usually around NYFW), the new It Ugg boot emerges, and a swift sell-out comes soon after. This time around, it’s Lori Harvey who’s giving the boots their celebrity debut. The name of this year’s soon-to-be-viral style is the Ugg Classic Dipper Platform Boots, and they’re right in step with one of fall 2023’s biggest boot trends.

Like last year’s It Ugg boots, the Classic Ultra Mini Platform Boots, the Classic Dippers feature a platform sole, but it’s the sock-like shaft that makes it purely “2023”. This isn’t the first season we’ve seen the sock boot trend, but the interesting thing about it this time around is that all of the iterations on the runway were off-kilter takes on the sock boot, from Bottega Veneta’s leather ones that were crafted to look like crew socks to Chanel’s second-skin knee-high leather pair. Ugg’s rendition is right in step with that distinction.

Keep scrolling to see how Lori Harvey styled the Ugg Classic Dipper Platform Boots and shop them before the wait lists start forming.

7 Brands at Nordstrom That Somehow Always Have Five-Star Reviews

    [ad_1]

Our readers have made it clear that they love shopping at Nordstrom, so I’m always trying to think of new ways to curate the retailer’s selection from a fashion editor’s point of view. Today, I’m writing about brands that somehow always have five-star reviews on Nordstrom’s website.

So what brands made the list? There’s a healthy mix of high (Gucci) and low (Ugg), with everything in between. For starters, there’s a brand that has cornered the market when it comes to activewear, a label that’s known for its cozy robes and cardigans, and a company that can’t ever seem to produce enough T-shirts. Scroll down to shop the 7 brands that Nordstrom customers love, and see what I’d buy from each.

Selena Gomez Just Wore the Unexpected Ugg Boots I Didn’t See Coming

    [ad_1]

It’s far from rare to spot a celeb wearing Ugg boots out and about. The comfy footwear is a go-to for almost everyone these days. And while the traditional suede and shearling styles may not be ideal for inclement weather, their chunky, sneaker-inspired cousin, the Adiroam Ankle Boot, certainly is.

In fact, Selena Gomez put these sporty snow boots on our radar when she was noticed outside her trailer while filming in NYC. The Rare Beauty founder and star of Only Murders in the Building is always one to watch when it comes to fashion and beauty inspiration, but this heat-to-toe all-black look (complete with matching mask and boots) is unusual for Gomez, who usually gravitates towards more colorful, streamlined silhouettes and accessories with embellishments

But, hey, practicality has its purpose too, and these rugged weather-proof boots will be ideal to have on hand as winter finally makes its appearance along the east coast. Ahead, shop the chunky, puffy, athletic-inspired boots that will stop winter weather warnings in their tracks (or at least get you from point A to B without soaking your socks in the soon-to-be-slush-filled streets).

Those Viral Platform Ugg Boots Are Back in Stock But With a Cool New Twist

    [ad_1]

Without a doubt, one of the biggest It items of this winter (and fall) has been the Ugg Ultra Mini Platform Boots. It was the item everyone had on their wish list for the holidays, but they’ve been virtually impossible to find since celebs like Elsa Hosk and Bella Hadid began wearing them in the fall. We’re now well into January and the hype hasn’t died and they’re still impossible to find. Until today, that is.

Ugg thankfully has satisfied its fans’ thirst for the cozy platform boots and released them today in three classic colorways, but with the addition of stitched straps on each side. They lend a casual California vibe to the boots and they feel especially fresh for the new year. Thus far, the boots are fully stocked in every size, but probably not for long, so keep scrolling to shop them, along with Ugg’s other new stitched pieces and its original platform boots in the colors that are currently available.

Must Read: P&G Beauty acquires Mielle Organics, Retrofête was the ‘It’ Girl New Year’s uniform

    [ad_1]

These are the stories making headlines in fashion on Wednesday.

    P&G Beauty acquires Mielle Organics
    P&G Beauty announced that it has signed an official deal with Black-owned hair-care brand Mielle Organics following its rapid, social media-fueled growth. The news comes days after its rosemary mint oil made headlines as longtime fans voiced concerns that the product’s recent adoption by white women could make it less available to core customers or even lead to a change in formula. The new partnership, under an undisclosed sum, will increase the availability of products and there are no plans to change formulas. “Mielle remains committed to leading with purpose and impact and serving as a beacon in historically underserved communities…expanding our impact in Black and brown communities will become an even greater focus in the years ahead,” co-founder Melvin Rodriguez said in a statement. {WWD}

  • I Describe My Style as Fun Yet Wearable—These Shoe Trends Hit It for Me

I Describe My Style as Fun Yet Wearable—These Shoe Trends Hit It for Me

    [ad_1]

They say fairytales can leave a lasting impression on kids. For me, it was Cinderella. Here was this poor girl who hustled away. Her only friends the literal rodents in her house. She finally gets an invite to the hottest soirée in town, gets all dolled up, and then LOSES her incredible heels (borrowed, no less) after only one wear! The emotional hangover must’ve been real, and I was just as relieved as she must’ve been to get them back. (Side note: Does shoe sizing not exist in fairytales?) It proved to me that the right pair of shoes really can change your life. (And a glass shoe? How chic is that?)

Needless to say, I’ve been a shoe gal since. Any time we went away on a family vacation, my dad would grumble and say, “Do you really need that many shoes? We’re only gone for a week,” to which my mom and I would respond, “Exactly!” A lot could happen in a week. What if we got stuck without the right footwear? It felt silly, and we were nothing if not practical.

That practically has evolved since. I still adore a vertiginous heel every now and then, but after a few hard-learned lessons (almost destroying my ankle on some Parisian cobblestone, for one), I’m looking for function alongside fun. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not totally above buying eye-candy shoes; it’s just that they should feel as sweet on my soles—like the ones I’ve listed below.
