INWOOD, Manhattan (WABC) — A 16-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection to a deadly shooting outside a subway station in upper Manhattan late Sunday night.

Police said Wednesday that the teenager was arrested late Tuesday night and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

The shooting happened near the steps of the 207th Street subway station in Inwood just before midnight.

Two men were killed and a third man was also shot but survived.

James Michael, 44, was shot in the face and pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital.

Alejandro Ramirez, 45, was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital. He was shot while walking home after his shift at Pizza Palace.

A memorial is growing in the neighborhood where he worked for 30 years, including the last decade where he worked at the pizzeria.

It is not believed he was an intended target and his community is left in shock, remembering him as a wonderful man and hard worker.

The motive in the shooting remains unknown.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Two people have died in a two-vehicle crash in the eastbound direction of the Bay Bridge early Thursday morning, California Highway Patrol says.

The crash happened around 4:15 a.m. on the lower deck of the Bay Bridge just before Treasure Island.

CHP says the two victims were occupants of a MINI Cooper that was hit by a pickup truck.

A third person in the MINI and the driver of the truck transported to the hospital. It is unclear how injured those individuals are.

CHP says the MINI stopped on the bridge before the truck hit the car from behind.

Three eastbound lanes of the bridge are closed as emergency crews respond to the crash.
