Kristin Cavallari is sharing what she’s learned from her romantic relationships over the years, and the one rule she’s set for herself.
While answering fan questions during a recent episode of her podcast, “Let’s Be Honest,” Cavallari discussed the difference between infatuation and love, explaining, “I have gotten confused by infatuation far too many times.”
“I think they say infatuation is anywhere from three to six months, so I have taken this stance in the last few years that I am not allowed to say I love you to, make long-term plans with anyone, introduce them to my kids, like nothing for the first six months because I am someone who gets very excited when I like someone because it is so rare that I am attracted to someone.”
She went on to say that she gets “fully consumed by” her infatuations and admits she has “said I love you to people I probably shouldn’t have” because she was “confused” by her feelings.
Cavallari said she doesn’t allow herself to tell anyone she loves them until they’ve been dating for six months or longer. (MEGA/GC Images)
KATHY GRIFFIN REVEALS SHE ‘ACCIDENTALLY FELL IN LOVE’ WITH 23-YEAR-OLD MAN AFTER DIVORCE
When it comes to being in love, she admits she has only felt that way about three people in her life, those three being “my ex-husband, my boyfriend Nick when I was like 19, 20, Steven, high school boyfriend,” and potentially her eighth grade boyfriend, joking, “I don’t know if you can be in love in eighth grade, but if you can, then I definitely was.”
“I love absolutely love all of my friends, but I don’t want to make out with them right like I think that’s the difference between just loving someone and being in love with someone is at least for me. I think the difference is just that attraction piece,” she explained.
Ultimately, she said, “time will tell” if the infatuation felt at the beginning of the relationship will turn into love, adding, “everyone that I ended up falling in love with I also was infatuated with in the beginning.”
Cavallari was married to her ex-husband, former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, from June 2013 to October 2020. The former couple share three children together: Camden, 13, Jaxon, 11, and Saylor, 10.

Following her breakup with Cutler, Cavallari announced she was dating TikTok creator Mark Estes, with an Instagram post featuring the two of them, with the caption, “He makes me happy.”
She received backlash online after going Instagram official, from people who had an issue 13-year age gap. In response, she posted a TikTok in which she lip-synced to a sound asking, “So what are you gonna do about it,” and then, “Are you gonna arrest me? Are you gonna give me a ticket?”
“When they’re all up in arms that [I’m] dating a 24-year-old. Andddd?” she wrote in the caption.
The two later broke up in September 2024, after seven months of dating.

“I just know long-term he needs to experience life. He’s young. I started to feel the age a little bit with life experience,” she said. “I look back when I was 24 and how much life has happened between then. Those are crucial years. Those are formative years. They’re when you find yourself, and he needs to be able to do that.”

It’s time to bump that. It’s time to strobe the lights. It’s time to see The Moment at your local theater tonight. I’m pretty sure that’s basically what the Muppets sing before a show. But thankfully, there’s a new Muppets special out to verify that. I’d like to think this ushers in a new era of Muppets that actually sticks, but the newly appointed Disney CEO, Josh D’Amaro, was the parks guy in charge during the closure of Muppet*Vision 3D, so … moving right along.
Every few years, there’s another attempt to make the Muppets mainstream, which is silly because they’re a cornerstone of American pop culture. But if it means more Muppets, why not? This time, that attempt is a special, one-shot return of this sketch-comedy show, starring Sabrina Carpenter, filmed at the original Muppet Theatre. —Roxana Hadadi
To commemorate the end of Brat, Charli XCX and director Aidan Zamiri teamed up to produce a strange part-mockumentary, part-satire on an alternate reality of the singer throughout Brat’s success. Charli plays herself as she deals with her upcoming tour as her label and management all suggest suffocating ways to keep brat summer going, which includes hiring an overbearing and eccentric filmmaker, Johannes (Alexander Skarsgård), for a concert film. The Moment feels more like a thought experiment than a movie, but there are bright spots — a scene between a frazzled Charli and a collected Kylie Jenner is a standout — for Angels to chew on.
With her podcast, music, and movie work, Keke Palmer is basically everywhere at all times, but it’s been years since she starred in a TV series. But what’s up with that abandoned mansion in Samira’s neighborhood, and why is her husband (Jack Whitehall) acting so weird? —R.H.
Netflix’s procedural about a lawyer riding around in his Lincoln is still going strong. In its fourth season, The Lincoln Lawyer is picking up the pieces from its season three finale with Mickey Haller having to defend himself this time. Neve Campbell and Cobie Smulders also co-star this season.
Filipino filmmaker Lav Diaz’s cinematic style and worldview are meant to challenge his viewers, both in terms of how his movies play out (long takes, minimal camera movement, run times that count as an investment) and the themes they address (the American Dream as a myth, the impact of 2006’s Super Typhoon Durian on a village and a family, the corruptness and moral vacuity of the elite). His 2004 opus Evolution of a Filipino Family was more than ten hours long! Compared with that, Magellan is a breeze at 164 minutes, and it’s also one of the most clear-eyed and disturbing anti-colonial films to come out in years. Starring a fantastic Gael García Bernal as the Portuguese explorer, Magellan subverts the idea that he was inspired by any kind of respectable ambition. He was a soldier, a murderer, a zealot, and a maniac, and García Bernal conveys all that with a weary, exhausted performance that drives home the soul-decaying nature of international conquest. Some of Diaz’s most stunning images hold Magellan to account, like a group of women, all dressed in black, swarming him for updates about their husbands and sons (all dead because of him), and another group of men, despondent and defeated, trapped in cages by Christian slavers. As a portrait of imperial folly and destruction, it’s thorough, poetic, ruthless, and the kind of timeless that ends up feeling timely. Men who seize power and insist that God chose them, and only them, to rule in a way that oppresses and harms others … Where have I heard that before? ➽ In theaters now

Comedian Steve Treviño opened up about how he believes Hollywood has turned its back on him due to his conservative values, including his promotion of family, faith and country.
During a Wednesday appearance on the “Like A Farmer” podcast, the 48-year-old comic questioned why he was not offered another Netflix deal after his 2024 stand-up special “Steve Treviño: Simple Man,” which premiered in March 2024, ranked near the top of the platform’s comedy charts.
“Hollywood does not like us,” he said. “Hollywood does not want anything to do with us. And it’s unfortunate, right?”

Treviño noted that the material in his special focused on his family life, his marriage, parenting and his faith. He said the lack of follow-up from Netflix surprised him given how the special performed relative to others released around the same time. Netflix does not publicly release detailed viewership data, but Treviño said his special ranked among the platform’s top comedy offerings that debuted that year.

“I was top five, numbers-wise,” he said. “I beat 35 of them. All the ones that I beat are getting offers again — I did not get another one.”
According to Treviño, dozens of stand-up specials were released during the same period, and several comedians whose projects performed worse by comparison were offered additional deals. The Texas native explained that the discrepancy led him to question whether ideology, rather than performance, played a role.
“You have to ask why,” Treviño said. “I don’t care if you like me or not — sell tickets. The numbers are the numbers.”

Treviño said he believes his emphasis on traditional values may have put him at odds with the entertainment industry.
“I promote family. I promote God. I promote loving this country,” he said.
During his podcast appearance, Treviño also recalled another experience with Amazon Prime Video that he said reinforced his concerns. He claimed that he was asked to remove a moment from a project in which he thanked U.S. military members.

“They said, ‘Can Steve not thank the troops at the end? It’s too political,’” Treviño said. “And I’m like, how is thanking the men and women who serve political?”
“So you have to wonder — is it because I’m conservative?” he said. “Is it because I love this country? Is it because I promote family? Is it because I promote God?”

Despite his frustrations, Treviño explained that he is continuing to build his career independently, relying on touring and engaging with fans directly rather than waiting for another major streaming deal. He also shared that he is developing new projects, including a sitcom called “Travel Ball” about youth travel baseball as well and an animated show.
“Stand-up’s what pays the bills,” Treviño said. “And if Netflix doesn’t want to give us another offer, we’ll figure it out again. We always do.”

Treviño said that he is also working on another stand-up special and its material continues to reflect the same themes that have defined his career, regardless of whether it finds a home on a major streaming platform.

Jennifer Esposito is calling out Hollywood after revealing she lost the home she mortgaged to make her first feature film.
The “Blue Bloods” alum, 52, shared an emotional video on Instagram, telling followers she is being forced to move out of the house she leveraged to finance “Fresh Kills” — a critically acclaimed film she wrote, directed, produced and starred in.
“Yeah, I’m looking like a– right now ‘cause I’ve been crying ‘cause I’m moving out of my home that I mortgaged to make my film,” Esposito said.

“Fresh Kills” was released in 2024 and earned praise from critics, but Esposito made it clear that acclaim did not translate into meaningful industry support — particularly from those with power and influence.
“And then have people who are in the spotlight not be able to just throw one back and say, ‘Hey, thanks, watch this film,’” she continued. “I said to myself, ‘You know what? Nobody owes anybody anything.’ And then I thought, ‘Do we? Do we as human beings? … I think actually we do owe each other something. We owe each other decency as human beings.’”
In the caption accompanying her post, Esposito continued to share her frustration.
“Maybe that singular question is the one to ask regarding every single issue we are facing currently,” she wrote.
“Forget the systems that deliberately keep us at one another’s throats — and survival is now a basic, everyday occurrence. I’m talking as human to human. Basic human decency to another living being. That’s it. Think on that,” Esposito added.

It’s almost time to dive into Love Story. Ryan Murphy’s nine-episode series, which chronicles the whirlwind romance and tragic end of John F. Kennedy Jr. and his wife, Carolyn Bessette- Kennedy, debuts on FX on February 12. On Tuesday, the Love Story cast and crew celebrated the premiere with a glitzy party at a New York hot spot befitting the ’90s It couple.
After a screening at Carnegie Hall, guests were bused over to The Pool, a storied event space and the former home of the Four Seasons restaurant located in Midtown’s historic Seagram Building. Designed by Philip Johnson and opened in 1959, The Pool’s mid-century modern aesthetic harkens back to the New York of the Mad Men age. It’s the birthplace of the “power lunch,” where notables like Barry Diller, Henry Kissinger, Barbara Walters, Nora Efron, Tom Wolfe, and yes, even Jackie O, were known to dine; it’s also where Love Story shot a pivotal scene for its second episode. (But more on that in a bit.)
Love Story star Sarah Pidgeon, who plays Carolyn, was locked in a deep conversation with costume designer Rudy Mance at the after-party. “We were just talking about all the hard work that went into it,” Pidgeon says, still clutching her colleague’s arm. “From cast to creatives and crew, there wasn’t a moment that our foot wasn’t on the gas.”
The team had to move quickly—especially Mance, who was brought on to the series after production had already begun. He was hired to fix Carolyn’s look after initial test shots of Pidgeon in character were torn apart on X and Instagram. “There’s no two other people, aside from her and I, that experienced what it was like to find this character through the clothes,” says Mance. “To really find who she was, and the story that we wanted to tell.”

The Bridgerton cast — and author Julia Quinn — have tried to explain Benedict’s shocking mistress offer to Sophie after the season 4 scene led to fan outrage.
Those who read Quinn’s book An Offer From a Gentleman already knew that when season 4 premiered in January 2026, Benedict’s (Luke Thompson) interest in a mysterious woman dubbed the Lady in Silver would create obstacles for him amid a growing attraction to housemaid Sophie (Yerin Ha). Despite the fact that Sophie is the Lady in Silver, her social class prevented Benedict from properly courting her.
Benedict instead chose to get creative by making a different suggestion at the end of part 1 which included asking that Sophie be his mistress.
“I stay away because you consume me. I meant it when you said you deserved better,” he said. “And I am determined to give it to you, and more. Sophie, be my mistress.”
While the moment was ripped straight from Quinn’s novel, it still led to offscreen backlash for some audience members.
“The big deal is that he grows and overcomes it and changes his mind and then says, ‘You are more important than what anybody else says.’ And I think it’s just as romantic that he has to learn that than coming out at the get go,” Quinn exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2026 about the point of the offer. “I like showing character growth. I don’t want my characters to be perfect at the beginning. I want them to be better towards the end.”
Keep scrolling to see how else the Bridgerton cast and crew attempted to defend Benedict amid the controversial story point:

“In the time period, it was not unreasonable for Benedict to think that this was the right ask,” showrunner Jess Brownell told TVLine in January 2026 while admitting it was “a huge mistake for Benedict to make.”
Brownell acknowledged that viewers rooting for the fictional romance may not be thrilled, adding, “He should be seeing Sophie as more than her class. For him to make that ask in that moment, outrage is absolutely the right reaction.”
After the strong response, Brownell highlighted Benedict’s outdated view of marriage.
“A lot of his progressiveness, not with his sexuality, but in other ways, has been performative,” she noted about Benedict’s preference for traditional values. “He is incredibly privileged and hasn’t really reckoned with that privilege. He has enjoyed life to the fullest, but has never done anything really scary.”
Brownell also pointed out there would be consequences if Benedict were to pursue an actual relationship with a maid. Despite the Bridgertons’ social status, they would be punished by society, and this would affect Benedict’s sisters, who would no longer be considered viable options for marriage.
“Deep down, Benedict is not as brave as he would like to be because he’s never really stepped out in a way where he’s had to be brave,” Brownell added.

After some fans were outraged by Benedict’s offer, author Julia Quinn spoke out, exclusively telling Us in February 2026, “It’s just saying, ‘You have to make sure that viewers understand how unprecedented it would be for him to offer her marriage.’”
Quinn noted that she didn’t have specific requests for how her scenes were recreated but she needed the same message to come across.
“That’s something I just said, ‘You need to make sure they understand this, because it’s going to seem really awful,’” Quinn explained of Benedict’s offer to Sophie. “And so that’s why I’m always telling people, ‘Hey, the big deal is not that he does this, not that he asked her to be his mistress, because that’s what would happen.’”

“I really love the way it came out. I think it is a really sexy moment — until, of course, that record scratch moment when Benedict asked Sophie to be his mistress,” Brownell told Variety. “In part, we are trying to illustrate just how big the class divide was then. And I think truly, what Benedict asks would have been considered the only way for a man — a gentleman — and a housemaid to be together during that era.”
She continued: “So it’s not that unusual for him to think that that’s romantic. However, in the larger context of this being the love of his life and us watching their love story, I think it’s absolutely the right reaction to be outraged and to be mad at him. So I think that reaction is correct and his lack of understanding about how it will come out is something we’re going to bring him up on in the back half.”

While Yerin Ha jokingly told The Kit in February 2026 that Benedict’s offer was a “blood red flag,” Luke Thompson was more forgiving of his character.
“I think he’s maybe a bit afraid of what being in a properly committed ‘giving someone everything’ kind of relationship would entail,” he explained. “That’s scary for him. And there’s good reasons for that.”
Thompson clarified that he didn’t “want to justify it too much.”
“People can feel angry. I get it,” he shared. “But actually, I think drama should be a bit divisive. There has to be some sort of provocation, otherwise it’s not fun to watch—there’s nothing to discuss.”

Amanda Batula and newcomer Ben Waddell raised eyebrows during the Summer House season 10 premiere while giving their housemates the skinny on their NSFW connection.
“We met at a wedding in Italy last year,” Ben, 38, told his new housemates of his relationship with Amanda, 34, and her then-husband Kyle Cooke, during the Tuesday, February 3, episode of the Bravo series. (Amanda and Kyle, 43, confirmed in January that they called it quits after four years of marriage, months after season 10 was filmed.)
Ben, who is from Australia, explained that it was “us two, basically,” referring to himself and Amanda as he let out a nervous laugh.
Amanda laughed too while grabbing something from the fridge, making it seem like something scandalous transpired between them in Europe. Kyle was also making a mischievous face next to Ben as he continued to explain their first encounter.
“We were up. Yeah, we stayed up,” Ben said, playing coy about what transpired during that first meeting. Amanda teased, “It was great.” Ben then confirmed, “We had a good time.”
West Wilson then asked what everyone in the kitchen was wondering: “Did you guys go to an orgy or something?”
Fellow season 10 newbie Bailey Taylor fired back, “It sounded like it.”
Amanda then broke her silence around the mystery of her and Ben’s meet-cute, telling the cameras, “Ben and I met at my best friend’s wedding in Italy while we were skinny-dipping.”

She let out an awkward laugh during her confessional. “How do I explain this?” Amanda wondered before revealing, “We ended up, me, the bride and Ben skinny-dipping in the pool while Kyle was blasting a speaker walking around the outside of the pool.”
Amanda cheekily added, “We really got to know each at that point, fully nude.”
Back in the kitchen, Jesse Solomon was in total shock over the skinny-dipping confession. “You’ve seen Amanda’s boobs?” he asked in a bewildered tone. “I’ve never even seen them!”
Amanda jokingly replied, “It’s that European water,” as she smirked back at the group.
West, 31, shook his head in disbelief, while Jesse, 32, let out another laugh. Ben, meanwhile, smiled while at the end of the kitchen island.
While Kyle seemed totally fine with Amanda and Ben’s intimate backstory, the topic of his then-wife baring it all around another man appeared to trigger him later in the episode.
During the group’s first summer party — a “County Fair” theme hosted by West — on Independence Day ended with a bang and a fight between the married couple.
As the party came to an end, the majority of the shared house crew jumped into the pool after pieing each other in the face with desserts.

Amanda joined them but not before stripping down to her bra, which was a nude color, and underwear.
“Wait! Amanda is naked,” West said as the bathing suit designer started to walk into the pool. “Your tits are so out, it’s kinda insane,” he said as Amanda approached the group in the deep end.
When Ben handed Amanda a towel on her way out of the water, Kyle, who was also in the pool in his red, white and blue trunks, noticed how little clothing his spouse was wearing.
“Amanda, you went naked?” Kyle asked, visibly upset.
“No, I have clothes on,” she explained.
Kyle called Amanda’s actions “absurd,” while she was concerned as to whether he was “mad” at her for the incident.
“That would’ve been fun if you, like, told me you were getting skinny,” Kyle said before Amanda chimed in and reminded him they were “all in the pool together.”
Jesse tried to ease the tension, yelling, “Kyle, you could get naked too!”
Amanda was still processing Kyle’s previous comment, asking him, “I had to tell you?” and seemed visibly confused by what was transpiring.
“You were the one topless,” Kyle quipped. Amanda fired back, “I’m not topless.” Kyle, however, wasn’t listening and started off towards the house, saying under his breath, “Just unbelievable.”
In the preview for the rest of the season, Kyle and Amanda’s marital issues continue to be front and center — and Amanda’s connection with Ben doesn’t appear to be making things better.
In one clip from the trailer, Amanda is seen running her hands through Ben’s hair as they chat in her and Kyle’s room.
“Amanda can walk into a room and brighten it up with her smile,” Ben says in the video, which prompts Amanda to smile at him from across the group dining table.
Ben’s remark also causes Bailey to claim, “Ben wants to definitely sleep with you!”
Summer House airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.

“Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’” she wrote. “Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”
Clarkson shares two children — River Rose, 11, and Remington, 9 — with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, who she was married to for about seven years, from October 2013 to June 2020.
Blackstock died in August 2025 at the age of 48, following a battle with melanoma, a form of skin cancer.

Despite some backlash to Benedict’s controversial offer, his and Sophie’s chemistry remained front and center during season 4 of Netflix’s hit series Bridgerton.
Based on Julia Quinn‘s third novel An Offer From a Gentleman, season 4 focused on Benedict’s (Luke Thompson) love story with Sophie (Yerin Ha) when his world gets turned upside down after crossing paths with a mysterious woman in a Cinderella-inspired meet cute.
Book fans knew that the season would be building up to an offer from Benedict to Sophie, which showrunner Jess Brownell defended after fan backlash.
“In the time period, it was not unreasonable for Benedict to think that this was the right ask,” Brownell told TVLine in February 2026 about Benedict asking for Sophie to be his mistress while admitting it was “a huge mistake for Benedict to make.”
Brownell acknowledged that viewers rooting for the fictional romance may not be thrilled, adding, “He should be seeing Sophie as more than her class. For him to make that ask in that moment, outrage is absolutely the right reaction.”
Brownell went on to explain why the character reverts back to traditional values when it comes to finding a wife.
“A lot of his progressiveness, not with his sexuality, but in other ways, has been performative,” she noted. “He is incredibly privileged and hasn’t really reckoned with that privilege. He has enjoyed life to the fullest, but has never done anything really scary.”
Keep scrolling for the steamiest moments between Benedict and Sophie so far:

While their chance encounter only lasted a short time, Benedict and Sophie’s chemistry was off the charts. The fact that they were both in masks — thus not knowing each other’s identities — didn’t stop the fictional couple from sharing a kiss and developing a romance that is driving the entire season.

Benedict’s (brief) illness didn’t prevent him and Sophie from growing closer at My Cottage. From Sophie tending to him to bonding over books, Benedict and Sophie’s getaway solidified their connection before they returned to London.

The famous Lake Scene technically falls under their time at My Cottage but Benedict stripping down — and Sophie watching him — before they share a kiss feels like it deserves its own shout-out.

After trying hard to stay away from each other, Benedict and Sophie hooked up on the staircase in his home (to Olivia Rodrigo’s “Bad Idea Right”) before he made her a surprising offer. Benedict spoke about how Sophie deserved better right before he asked her to be his mistress.

The disappearance of the 84-year-old mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie over the weekend is being investigated as a crime based on what authorities saw at her home, an Arizona sheriff said Monday.
Speaking during a news conference, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said there are signs at the home indicating Nancy Guthrie did not leave on her own.
“I need this community to step up and start giving us some calls,” Nanos said.
Asked to explain why investigators believe it’s a crime scene, Nanos said Nancy Guthrie has limited mobility and said there were other things indicated she did not leave on her own, but declined to further elaborate.
The sheriff said Nancy Guthrie, who lived alone, was of sound mind. “This is not dementia related. She’s as sharp as a tack. The family wants everyone to know that this isn’t someone who just wandered off,” Nanos said. He said she needs her daily medication.
Nanos said at a news conference Sunday night that Nancy Guthrie was last seen around 9:30 p.m. Saturday at her home in the Tucson area. Her family reported her missing around noon Sunday.
Nanos said a family member received a call from someone at church saying Nancy Guthrie wasn’t there, leading family to search for her at her home and then calling 911.
Searchers were using drones and search dogs to look for Nancy Guthrie, Nanos said. Search and rescue teams were supported by volunteers and Border Patrol and the homicide team was also involved, he said. It is not standard for the homicide team to get involved in such cases, Nanos said.
“This one stood out because of what was described to us at the scene and what we located just looking at the scene,” Nanos said Sunday. He was not ruling out foul play.
On Monday morning, Nanos said search crews worked hard but have since been pulled back. “We don’t see this as a search mission so much as it is a crime scene,” the sheriff said. Savannah Guthrie issued a statement on Monday, NBC’s “Today” show reported.
“On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support,” she said. “Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear Nancy.”
“Today” opened Monday’s show with the disappearance of the co-anchor’s mother, but Savannah Guthrie was not at the anchor’s desk. Nanos said during the Monday news conference that Savannah Guthrie is in Arizona. Savannah Guthrie grew up in Tucson and graduated from the University of Arizona.
Nancy Guthrie appeared in a November 2025 story her daughter did about her hometown. Over a meal, Savannah asked her mother what made the family want to plant roots in Tucson in the 1970s.
“It’s so wonderful. Just the air, the quality of life,” Nancy said. “It’s laid back and gentle.”
She said she likes to see the javelina eat her plants.

The friends, former collaborators, and countless admirers of Catherine O’Hara are paying public tribute to her after her death on January 30 following a brief illness. The comic actress was an Emmy Award winner and a beloved entertainer across generations. Hollywood and beyond mourned her 50-year career, including her co-stars from Home Alone, her fellow nominees from her recent project The Studio, and longtime collaborators from what ended up being her final project, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
Below, find all the celebrity tributes to the legendary Catherine O’Hara.
Schitt’s Creek co-creator Dan Levy spoke on behalf of him and his father Eugene Levy on Instagram. “What a gift to have gotten to dance in the warm glow of Catherine O’Hara’s brilliance for all those years,” he wrote. “Having spent over fifty years collaborating with my Dad, Catherine was extended family before she ever played my family. It’s hard to imagine a world without her in it. I will cherish every funny memory I was fortunate enough to make with her.” Busy Philipps commented on his post “sending you and your family and her family so much love.”
The comedians remembered the “sweetest angel” when they raised a toast in her honor during their comedy show in Austin, Texas on Friday night. “I met her when she was 18 years of age, and all these years later, she’s been the greatest, most brilliant, kindest, sweetest angel that any of us worked with,” Short said. “God bless her.” The two raised their glasses as the audience cheered.
Burton, who directed O’Hara in both Beetlejuice films, shared a photo of them together, alongside the cast of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. He wrote, “Catherine, I love you . This picture shows how much light you gave to all of us. You were a special part of my life and after life.”
Martin Scorsese directed Catherine O’Hara in After Hours, a “one bad night” comedy that has achieved cult status over the years. “To lose Catherine O’Hara… it feels impossible to me, and to millions of others as well, I’m sure,” the director said in a statement obtained by IndieWire. His daughter, Francesca, posted a screenshot of their FaceTime when she presumably shared the news. “For me, and for most of my friends, it’s SCTV: all I have to do is think about one of the characters she created, like Lola Heatherton or Dusty Towne, and I’m laughing. Catherine was a true comic genius, a true artist, and a wonderful human being. I was blessed to be able to work with her on After Hours, and I’m going to miss her presence and her artistry. We all are.”
Balaban, who co-starred with O’Hara in many a Christopher Guest film, said he was “devastated” by her passing and praised the actress for her “gift of loopiness,” something he ascribed to being Canadian. “Catherine O’Hara had an extraordinary kindness that so many Canadians seem to have,” he told Page Six. “She also had the gift of loopiness that so many Canadian comic actors have, too — Eugene Levy, Marty Short, John Candy, for example.” Balaban suspects that the Canadian loopiness and kindness both come from “having to wear a woolen hat with earflaps for too many months of the year.”
“Catherine was as smart as a person can be, but never showy,” he added. “And effortlessly creative with material. She had great generosity, which she would often use to bolster another actor’s performance…And you have to love a person who, after they beat you at a big, big hand of poker, apologizes.”
In an Instagram post, Keaton said he and O’Hara “go back before the first Beetlejuice.” He also shared his condolences with O’Hara’s husband, Bo Welch. “She’s been my pretend wife, my pretend nemesis and my real life, true friend,” he wrote. “This one hurts. Man am I gonna miss her.”
Baldwin, who co-starred with O’Hara in Beetlejuice, called the actor “one of the greatest comic talents in the movie business” in a statement to Page Six. “She had a quality that was all her own and my sympathy goes out to Bo and their family,” he said. His wife, Dancing With the Stars contestant Hilaria Baldwin, posted a TikTok of Baldwin and O’Hara on the set of the 1988 film.
McKean worked with O’Hara going all the way back to SCTV — a troupe that has already lost John Candy, Joe Flaherty, Tony Rosato, and Harold Ramis. “Only one Catherine O’Hara, and now none. Heartbreaking,” he wrote on Twitter. “Catherine’s knowledge of humanity was always at the center of her comedy, no matter how absurd the character or loopy the material. She could play heartless because she was warm, brainless because she was brilliant, careless because she truly cared. Everyone loved her and everyone learned from her. This is a deep loss.”
She was nominated for an Emmy for her work on Seth Rogen’s award-winning series The Studio for playing his former boss, studio executive Patty Leigh. “I told O’Hara when I first met her I thought she was the funniest person I’d ever had the pleasure of watching on screen,” Rogen wrote in a tribute on Instagram. “Home Alone was the movie that made me want to make movies. Getting to work with her was a true honour.” Variety reports that season two of the series had just started filming.
Macaulay Culkin starred as O’Hara’s son Kevin McCallister in the Home Alone films. He mourned O’Hara on Instagram with side-by-side photos of them together when he was a child, then again as an adult. “Mama,” he wrote. “I thought we had time. I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you.” In the comments, he added, “I’m mad about this…”
Actor-director Ron Howard directed O’Hara in the 1994 film The Paper and wrote on X that “This is shattering news.”
Pedro Pascal and Catherine O’Hara acted together in the second season of HBO’s The Last of Us. “Eternally grateful,” Pascal wrote on Instagram. “There is less light in my world, this lucky world that had you, will keep you, always.”
O’Hara worked with Theroux on the 2024 film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. He posted a photo of her on-set chair from that production.
Amy Sedaris and O’Hara both voiced characters in the 2005 movie Chicken Little, but Sedaris’s admiration went beyond that. “Catherine O’Hara was such an inspiration to me,” Sedaris wrote alongside a clip of O’Hara in Waiting for Guffman on Instagram. “I was obsessed with her and SCTV.”
Actor Paul Walter Hauser (Black Bird) talked about loving O’Hara during press for his 2025 film The Naked Gun, then posted a tribute when she died. “She was my Meryl Streep,” he wrote in his post. “I could watch her in anything. Didn’t matter how good or bad the film or show was. I wanted to see what she would do.”
Rita Wilson and O’Hara never worked together, though they did come up in Hollywood at similar times and knew each other. Wilson paid tribute to O’Hara on Instagram. “A woman who was authentic and truthful in all she did,” Wilson called O’Hara in her post. “You saw it in her work, if you knew her you saw it in her life, and you saw it in her family.”
Comedian Kevin Nealon and Catherine O’Hara crossed paths multiple times. In 1991, she hosted Saturday Night Live while he was still in the cast. He wrote about her on X. “From the chaos and heart of Home Alone to the unforgettable precision of Moira Rose in Schitt’s Creek, she created characters we’ll rewatch again and again,” he wrote.

The Royal Rumble is finally here, and this year it’s heading somewhere it’s never been before. For the first time in nearly four decades, WWE is taking one of its biggest events outside North America. The WWE Royal Rumble 2026 takes place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where 30 men and 30 women will battle for a shot at glory at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas later this year.
Watch the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble Live for Free
The Royal Rumble has long been considered the official kickoff to WWE’s Road to WrestleMania season, and it’s easy to see why wrestling fans circle this date on their calendars every year. Thirty competitors enter the ring at timed intervals, battle royale-style, and can only be eliminated by being thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. The last person standing doesn’t just get bragging rights—they earn a guaranteed championship match at WrestleMania, which heads to Las Vegas this April. Winners also get to choose which title they want to challenge for, whether it’s one of Raw’s championships or SmackDown’s belts.
This year’s event carries extra significance beyond just the WrestleMania stakes. It’s the first time in the Royal Rumble’s 39-year history that the event is taking place outside of North America, representing WWE’s growing global footprint. The outdoor stadium setting in Saudi Arabia also promises a visually impressive backdrop for what’s already one of wrestling’s most unpredictable spectacles. With only about two-thirds of the participants confirmed as of January 30, 2026, the remaining slots mean plenty of room for surprise returns, shocking debuts, and the kind of moments that become instant shares on social media.
The main card also features high-stakes championship action and a match with genuine career implications. AJ Styles faces GUNTHER in a bout where Styles must retire if he loses—a stipulation that adds real weight considering Styles has hinted that 2026 might be his final year in the ring anyway. Drew McIntyre defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against Sami Zayn, who earned his shot by winning a hard-fought tournament.
Between the Rumble chaos, championship matches, and potential career-ending drama, Saturday’s card offers something for every type of wrestling fan. Keep on reading for how to watch without spending a dime.
The WWE Royal Rumble 2026 airs on Saturday, January 31, 2026, with preshow coverage beginning at noon ET and the main card starting at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN. If you don’t have cable, you can still catch all the action through streaming services that carry ESPN and offer free trials.
DirecTV Stream is a solid choice, offering ESPN across all its packages with a five-day free trial. Plans start at $89.99 per month after the trial ends. Fubo is another strong option with a seven-day free trial and ESPN included in its Pro package for $73.99 monthly. Hulu + Live TV provides access to ESPN at $89.99 per month and sweetens the deal by bundling Disney+ and Hulu’s on-demand library together with ESPN+ into one subscription. Lastly, Sling TV’s Orange package costs $45.99 per month with over 30 channels—including ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3—making it the most budget-friendly monthly option for live sports streaming. Keep on reading ahead for a full breakdown of your streaming options.

The 2026 WWE Royal Rumble takes place at a temporary outdoor stadium called Riyadh Season Stadium at the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This marks the first time the traditional Royal Rumble has taken place outside of North America in the event’s 39-year history. While WWE held the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia in April 2018, which featured a 50-man Rumble match, the 2026 event marks the first traditional Royal Rumble and the first of WWE’s “Big Five” premium live events to take place in the country. The event also marks the 14th WWE event held in Saudi Arabia as part of the promotion’s 10-year strategic partnership with the Ministry of Sport in support of Saudi Vision 2030, the country’s social and economic reform program.
The Men’s Royal Rumble field includes 21 confirmed entrants as of January 30, with 9 surprise entrants expected to be announced during the event. Confirmed participants include:
The Women’s Royal Rumble field includes 17 confirmed entrants as of January 30, with 13 surprise entrants expected. Confirmed participants include:
Roman Reigns enters the Men’s Royal Rumble as the betting favorite with odds of +150, according to MyBookie. GUNTHER and Bron Breakker are tied as the second favorites at +200, followed by Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes both at +400. The line has been volatile throughout the week, with Breakker briefly reaching odds-on favorite status at 10-11 before money came in on Reigns, according to William Hill. LA Knight sits at +500, Jacob Fatu at +600, and CM Punk at +800. Oba Femi, Jey Uso, and Seth Rollins all carry +1400 odds despite questions about Rollins’ participation status. Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton both sit at +2200.
On the women’s side, Liv Morgan has emerged as the favorite at -125, representing the first time she’s held that position heading into a Rumble match. Bianca Belair follows closely at +150, while Rhea Ripley sits at +250. Tiffany Stratton carries +500 odds, with Becky Lynch at +600 and Roxanne Perez at +800 rounding out the top tier, according to MyBookie. Charlotte Flair, despite being the only woman to win the Royal Rumble twice (2020 and 2025), sits further down the odds board.
The unpredictability of the Royal Rumble format makes these odds particularly volatile, as surprise entrants historically play a major role in both matches. Past Rumbles have featured shocking returns from legends like Edge in 2020 and AJ Styles’ WWE debut in 2016, moments that completely shifted the trajectory of the matches. With only 21 of 30 men and 17 of 30 women confirmed as of Friday, the remaining slots leave plenty of room for game-changing appearances that could upend the betting markets entirely.

Most details about season 4 of The White Lotus are under wraps but there have been hints about the location and potential stars.
The HBO series, which debuted in 2021, focuses on the guests and employees at a fictional resort as they experience a slew of personal ups and downs while on vacation. The anthology series is also known for a mysterious death — or two — that is eventually revealed at the end of each season.
Season 1 was set in Hawaii and featured an ensemble cast including Murray Bartlett, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario, Fred Hechinger, Jake Lacy, Brittany O’Grady, Natasha Rothwell, Sydney Sweeney, Steve Zahn and Molly Shannon.
The sophomore season moved to a tropical resort in Sicily with Coolidge, F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Meghann Fahy, Beatrice Grannò, Tom Hollander, Sabrina Impacciatore, Michael Imperioli, Theo James, Aubrey Plaza, Haley Lu Richardson, Will Sharpe, Simona Tabasco and Leo Woodall.
Season 3 was set in Thailand, featuring another star-studded cast consisting of Rothwell, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong and Aimee Lou Wood.
While creator Mike White has preferred to remain tight-lipped on specific future plans for the show, he has teased what viewers can expect.
“I’ve dabbled in Buddhism, and Thailand worked for the themes that I was trying to get into,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in April 2025. “The show is about identity and desire — and then there’s another part of me, the mischievous gay part, that’s just like, ‘How do I create something that’s dirty and funny?’”
According to an interview that played after the season 3 finale, White teased he was looking for a change, adding, “For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the crashing waves against rocks vernacular. But there’s always room for more murders at the White Lotus hotels.”
Keep scrolling for everything to know — so far — about season 4:
HBO’s head of drama Francesca Orsi teased the possibilities in February 2024, telling Deadline, “We’re going on some locations scouting in the next couple of weeks, so we’ll know soon. I can’t really say where we’re going to land, but chances are somewhere in Europe.”
Orsi said there were “some countries on the map that we talked about, but nothing to report on until they actually go location scouting.”
Meanwhile, White’s longtime producing partner David Bernad denied rumors that season 4 would be set in a cooler location.
“Mike doesn’t like the cold,” Bernad told The Guardian in February 2025. Since all past seasons of The White Lotus have been filmed at a Four Seasons resort, it is likely a good idea to look at the hotel chain’s list of locations for White’s possible inspiration.
It was later revealed that season 4 will head to France for the new season. It will be filmed at several properties, including the Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez.
Variety reported that production was being “eyed for 2026″ after the show was renewed for a fourth season.
News broke in December 2025 that The Hunger Games alum Alexander Ludwig and former Disney Channel star AJ Michalka would appear on season 4 in then-undisclosed roles. Helena Bonham Carter, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Marissa Long and Chris Messina make up the rest of the cast.

A better question might be who hasn’t. In the past, Elizabeth Banks, Janelle James, Hayden Panettiere, James Marsden and Sheryl Lee Ralph have all expressed interest in stopping by a White Lotus. Jamie Lee Curtis, Bette Midler, Pamela Anderson and Jennifer Aniston also mentioned they’d be up for the show.
While there have been a few instances of cast members appearing on multiple seasons — including Coolidge and Rothwell — some White Lotus stars vocalized their interest in bringing other existing characters together. (It helps that White previously appeared on a season of Survivor — and is set to return for more — so an “all-stars” season isn’t out of the realm of possibility.)
Schwarzenegger pitched an on-screen introduction between him, Lacy and James. HBO CEO Casey Bloys, meanwhile, suggested Shannon and Posey’s characters having a history.

While season 3 was airing in April 2025, the show’s composer, Cristóbal Tapia de Veer, confirmed to The New York Times that he will not be returning after disagreements about the theme song. White, meanwhile, told The Hollywood Reporter that he didn’t think Tapia de Veer “respected” him.

One of the great mysteries of the Bravoverse has been solved! You might not have noticed it because it came during a sleepy scene where Salley and her extra e return home to hang out with her family and her new niece. She complains about the chickens she bought to impress Craig, even though everyone in the group told her it was a bad idea. She says the chickens stink, leave a mess, and won’t die nearly soon enough for her liking. Who is she telling all this to? Her sister, Clair. Do you see it? Clair. That is where Salley got her extra e from! She stole it from Clair! I’ve heard of intense sibling rivalries before, but even with Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontaine (look it up), this is the first case of sibling vowel theft we have on record.
There are a few family visits, and with them, the interminable questions about when everyone is going to settle down and have kids. Even as Shep is giving Craig and Rodrigo a tour of his new house, Craig is talking about how Shep can get married and have two kids in that house and still have plenty of room. Craig, you have known Shep for more than a decade. When has he ever given any indication that he was interested in getting married, starting a family, or having home décor that wasn’t centered around surfboards, which would allow him to have either of those things in his life?
It is a bit different when Austen goes home to have a chat with his mom, Wendy. They start talking about his relationship with Audrey and whether or not he’s going to forge ahead or cut her loose. We all know the answer, but it is still interesting to see Wendy basically tell Austen he needs to get serious about something in his life. But Wendy’s request isn’t selfish. It’s not that she wants “grandbabies” to play around with. “Having kids was the best thing I ever did,” she tells Austen, with tears in her eyes and loss in her heart. “The best thing I ever did … don’t lose sight of that.” This isn’t the regular nosiness of this conversation; this is a mother wanting the same thing for her son that brought her so much joy in life. This is someone trying to share a gift, and for the only time this season, I will allow it.
After we watch Molly sniff her America’s Next Top Model weave, Craig explains how bee baths work, and Charley swoons a bit on her oyster date with Craig, the main action of the episode is the ill-fated birthday dinner that Whitney plans for Austen. It’s at a somewhat fancy place, and Austen, the birthday boy, shows up to meet the other OG dudes in the group wearing shorts. Shorts! Shep looked more put-together in the opening faux-sitcom scene of the episode when he wakes up in Craig’s guest room in a short-sleeve button-down and compression shorts. I know we can all take liberties on our birthdays, but if he had shown up in his birthday suit, he would have been better dressed.
The evening starts nicely enough, where Craig and Austen swallow their simmering resentment like they swallow the Nitrotinis that come steaming off the bar. It’s even sweeter when they all go around toasting one another and their long-standing friendships. Things start to take a turn when Craig makes a “preposition” that they will all be nice to each other at this dinner. That’s interesting coming from Craig, who is usually the first person to bring anger to the table. As Austen walks to the bathroom with Whitney, he’s already bitching about how annoying the “preposition” is.
Austen isn’t blameless, either. The two have been expressing all sorts of displeasure with each other for seasons now, to the point that everything one says totally pisses the other off. Austen won’t let Craig off the hook for anything, and Craig finds fault with everything about Austen. Whitney, of all people, described the situation perfectly. He says that Craig is a bully who will shout “Fuck you!” at you one day and the next day act like your best friend as if nothing happened. Austen is someone who holds grudges, so each time that happens, his anger ratchets up. What we’re left with, Whitney says in a way only he could, is “this circle jerk of stupidity and acrimony that keeps festering.”
It all starts to go awry when, countless drinks in, Austen toasts his friends, even though they are also sometimes his enemies. Craig says they were enemies in the past, but not anymore. Austen reminds him that just days ago he told Salley that Austen was his enemy. Craig says he felt betrayed, like Austen is always rooting against him, and tells us, in a confessional, that he thinks that Austen doesn’t share his value system.
The fight devolves until we realize what it’s really about. Like so many of these arguments, it is a fight about the show. Austen feels he was manipulated by Craig, specifically last season, when they had their discussion on the beach, where Craig talked about his addiction issues and how they were affecting their friendship. Austen thinks that Craig knew he had a lot of things to answer for in their friendship, so he brought up addiction to shut Austen up. Now, a year later, he’s back to his same old drinking habits, including at this dinner, where he has more glasses in front of him than the manager at LensCrafters. I felt like Austen was making a very valid point.
In retaliation, Craig says, “He just made my drinking problem about him.” That’s also true, but I don’t think it’s about the drinking problem; I think it’s about the lying. Which is true? Is it that Craig has a drinking problem? Okay, if that’s true, then the group needs to address why he’s drinking so much this season, and no one is saying anything about it. Or is the truth that Craig doesn’t have a drinking problem, or any other addiction issues. If so, then he certainly was manipulating Austen to not talk about their deeper issues. Shep says Austen’s comments are wrongheaded, but I think Shep is missing the bigger point. Austen doesn’t want to continue looking like a jerk for how he treats Craig if Craig is somehow misrepresenting himself or the situation. As usual with Craig, it all comes down to when (or even if) he is telling the truth.
Craig also says that Austen is a different person when filming, but doesn’t elaborate how. He then takes on a different, more personal attack, saying Austen blames him for his life being the same as it was five years ago. That seems a little below the belt. Also, how is Craig’s life that much different? Other than his pillow empire taking off, he’s still single, in the same town, on the same show, doing the same thing. What’s so different? That he has bees and an assistant who will murder someone to make Craig fall in love with him? Other than the business piece, Austen is in the same exact space as Craig. I also don’t think Austen is blaming Craig for his problems. It seems like Austen is just raising the issues he has with Craig, but isn’t pointing them out as the cause of problems in his own life. His annoyance with Craig and his annoyance with his business seem to be two totally separate issues.
Whitney and Shep are almost entirely silent because they’re just bickering back and forth until Craig eventually says that Austen hates him. Austen answers, “I do fucking hate you,” which Whitney tells him immediately to apologize for. But Austen can’t do that because he’s dissociating. In his mind, he’s somewhere else. In his mind, he’s somewhere safe, on the screened-in porch with his mother sipping an Aperol spritz and picking at a plate of nuts, olives, and other assorted snacks. The sun is slanting through the trees, creating pockets of light and warmth on the floral-print sectional. It’s homey, it’s comfy, it’s supportive in its way, and Austen thinks about his mother asking him when he is going to raise a child, and then Austen thinks that he’s been raising one for years — he just didn’t know that child was Craig.
