The reality star recalled opened up about a time when her ex-boyfriend surprised her with a serenade by Giveon during a recent episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land. While the Good American founder enjoyed the R&B singer’s performance, she wasn’t happy with Tristan, who she had been dating on and off at the time following his infidelity.
“There was one time I was serenaded, and it was I think just a random day because I wasn’t expecting it,” Khloe said on the Valentine’s Day-themed episode of her podcast, which was released on Feb. 11. “This was years ago. Tatum wasn’t born. Yeah, it was just True.”

After being instructed by her then-boyfriend to “come outside,” Kardashian recalled just how uncomfortable she felt while Giveon sang to her.
“Giveon wasn’t who he was now. And he is just singing,” she began. “I remember I hated Tristan and I was like, ‘Why are you doing this?’ And Giveon is pouring his heart out. And Tristan’s trying to sit next to me and I’m like, slapping him, and poor Giveon is still singing. It was mortifying.”
Khloé felt so awkward that she had to call in backup, getting on their daughter in an effort to help relieve some tension.
“I was like, ‘God, this guy is such a great singer. I love this guy.’ And I remember going inside to get True because I was like, ‘I just need like a third person to get [away from] Tristan,’” she explained. “I was so annoyed with Tristan.”
Despite her thoughts about the gesture at the time, Khloé now looks at the surprise with a good attitude, explaining, “It was so funny. Until this day, when I see Giveon he’ll be like, ‘Remember? If I could sing live for you two while you guys were fighting, [anything’s possible].’”
“Like, Giveon was so professional,” she continued. “He was so great. He didn’t break his song at all. He’s amazing, I love him. But how awkward for him? Poor guy, I love you, Giveon.”
Tristan made several attempts to repair his relationship with Khloé, but to no avail. The pair ultimately broke up for good in late 2021. Their final split came shortly after the NBA player welcomed son Theo, now 4, with Maralee Nichols–just as he and Khloé were preparing for Tatum’s arrival.

“What I find so funny is that people are always like, ‘How do you let Tristan back in?’” Khloe said during an episode of her podcast back in November. “And I’m like, ‘Well, Tristan is not back in.’ He’s just the father of my kids, so he’s going to be around his kids and I’m really grateful that he is.”

Tristan Thompson has been suspended from the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers after violating the association’s anti-drug policy. According to ESPN, the announcement was made on Tuesday, January 23.
More Details Regarding Tristan Thompson’s Suspension
According to the outlet, Thompson tested positive for ibutamoren and SARM LGD-4033. ESPN reports that ibutamoren is a growth hormone, while SARM LGD-4033 is a muscle enhancement typically used by bodybuilders and weightlifters.
Thompson will be suspended for 25 games. Additionally, his suspension will begin on Wednesday, January 24, when the Cavaliers face off against the Milwaukee Bucks.
ESPN also adds that Thompson will be suspended without pay and has yet to comment on the matter publicly.
Furthermore, the Cleveland Cavaliers have yet to issue a statement on Thompson’s suspension.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Thompson developed a reputation for infidelity after publicly cheating on Khloé Kardashian with her sister Kylie’s best friend Jordyn Woods in 2019.

The latest episode of ‘The Kardashians’ featured a preview of November 16th’s upcoming episode. During the clip, viewers watched as Khloé Kardashian informed Thompson of how his actions not only affect her but her entire family.
“In this family, if you do something to one of us, it affects everyone,” Kardashian told Thompson.
In turn, Thompson admitted to Kardashian that he’s “in a place now” where he can “own up to the mistakes” he’s made.
As The Shade Room previously reported, a prior episode of the series showed Kourtney Kardashian admitting that seeing Thompson can make her feel “triggered.” Additionally, Kardashian explained that her 11-year-old daughter, Penelope Disick, feels the same.
“I feel like [Penelope] gets it from me. I told her, the first day of school, I was so triggered by him… and I was like, ‘I just can’t do it anymore,’” Kardashian recalled. “There’s times when I’m so triggered by him I can’t be around him. Then there’s times I just let it go because we just want harmony. He’s the father of my niece and nephew.”

Thurday’s episode alludes that Thompson may have caught wind of Kourtney Kardashian’s feelings. In the following portion of the preview clip, Kylie Jenner told viewers that Thompson was arriving for a sitdown and she felt “a little nervous.”
As the camera cut to a scene of Jenner and Thompson sitting across one another, Thompson vocalized his empathy for Jenner.
“Everyone got affected a little differently, but I think you were affected the most,” Thompson told Jenner, alluding to his 2019 kissing scandal with Jenner’s former best friend, Jordyn Woods. The scandal would end Jenner and Woods’ friendship for four years until the pair reconnected in July.
From there, the episode showed a preview of Thompson sitting one-on-one with Kourtney Kardashian.

In a private confessional, Kardashian explained she and Thompson have “not connected,” and she “just can’t fake it.” As the clip returned to the pair’s sitdown, Kardashian asked Thompson if he “feels” anything when he cheats on her sister.
Thompson replied by explaining that he “feels disgusted the next day,” to which Kardashian posed another question.

The NBA player, who recently signed a one-year contract to reunite with the Cleveland Cavaliers, was called out for his “appalling and inexcusable” behavior by the sister of his ex, Jordan Craig.
On Thursday, Kai Craig shared a lengthy Instagram post accusing Thompson of “ignoring” Prince and seemingly showing more support for his other children and young family members of his more recent ex, Khloé Kardashian, than his firstborn child. Thompson and Kardashian share a 5-year-old daughter, True, and son, Tatum, 1.
Kai Craig called out Kim Kardashian for appearing “insensitive” since the Skims co-founder was filmed boasting about Thompson’s presence in True and Tatum’s lives and the lives of her own four children, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West.
“It has been so hard to refrain from speaking up, and out of respect for my sister’s privacy I haven’t for over 7 years, but this is just too much,” she wrote in the statement. “It’s so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to do these nice things for others but can’t seem to show up and be a real parent for my nephew Prince.”
She continued, “The fact that he can take other children to school and activities in the same city, yet never sees or speaks to his own son, unless it’s for a party or planned photo opportunity, is appalling and inexcusable.”
Kai Craig then directed her attention toward Kim Kardashian, saying that Thompson “literally ignores his children.”
“That’s nice if he’s been a good friend to you, but let’s consider our sisters before taking to global platforms to defend this man’s character,” she said.
She then charged that Thompson had long stopped paying the amount of child support that had been previously reported and that he had also allegedly stopped paying Prince’s school tuition.
“He hasn’t even inquired where Prince goes to school now,” she said before noting that her sister works “multiple jobs.”
Then Kai Craig added, “[Tristan] you are NOT a good father if you can’t be a good father to ALL of your children.”
A representative for Thompson has not immediately returned a request for comment.

The athlete’s child with Nichols, a boy named Theo, was born in December 2021.

Jordan Craig gave birth to Prince in December 2016, according to People. Thompson posted a photo on Instagram of him hugging Khloé Kardashian that same month on Christmas Day.
“Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from me and mines, to you and yours,” he captioned the post.
Khloé Kardashian said that she had forgiven Thompson for cheating multiple times in an episode of “The Kardashians” that aired in July.

Though the two later reconciled, their relationship was marred by multiple scandals involving different women. The final straw appeared to be when a lawsuit revealed that the Los Angeles Lakers star had fathered a child with someone else, which Thompson knew about but did not tell Kardashian.
Even with the knowledge of his other child, who was born in December 2021, Thompson encouraged Kardashian to move forward with surrogacy plans to expand their family, which led to the birth of their second child. The two welcomed a son, named Tatum, in August 2022.
