  • We Are So Cooked Trailer Turns Hiding A Dead Body Into A Cozy Co-op Game

    [ad_1]

The trailer for We Are So Cooked, a nice, cozy co-op physics stealth game about trying to hide a dead body with your friends, dropped today after the game went viral for its premise earlier this month.  The trailer does a good job of highlighting the particular challenges of trying to stealthily remove a dead body from a busy hotel, from abundant security cameras to the body’s floppiness. The game, which comes from indie developers Dwarven Brothers, premiered its trailer on Geoff Keighley’s X account and The Game Awards Instagram.

Though the game is technically playable solo, individual players will face extra challenges. According to We Are So Cooked‘s Steam page, “dragging the body alone is slow and leaves a bloody trail,” and “You can hold an item, OR you can drag the body. You can’t do both. You’ll have to scream at your friends to open doors for you.” Co-op play doesn’t guarantee an easier path to victory, though: you’ll have to dodge security guards, dogs, and other hotel guests while trying to navigate down stairs and around corners with an awkward, heavy dead body that seems determined to slip out of your hands. You’ll have to come up with a solid plan and work together carefully to avoid dropping the body—the description warns that “if you pull left and your friend pulls right, you’re going to drop him down the stairs.”

We Are So Cooked‘s lighthearted approach to manslaughter is a nice respite from co-op games with heavier themes, like Hazelight Studios’ fun-looking but actually harrowingly grim divorce game It Takes Two. At least you and your fellow players are on the same page in this one. We Are So Cooked is set to release sometime in 2026.

  • ‘Spider-Noir’ Will Be Available In Color and Black-and-White Versions – And So Is the Show’s First Trailer

    [ad_1]

It’s only appropriate to watch a noir Spider-Man in black and white. But the new Spider-Noir TV series coming to Amazon’s Prime Video — starring Nicolas Cage as the title character — will be available in two different formats. Fans can watch it in either “Authentic Black & White” or in “True-Hue Full Color.”

Fittingly, there are two different trailers for the show; one in black and white and one in color. First, here is the black and white version, introducing the live-action version of Spider-Man Noir, who Cage previously voiced in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

READ MORE: Every Spider-Man Movie and Spinoff, Ranked From Worst to Best

And here is the color version of the same trailer. (Black and white just looks better, in my opinion)…

The Spider-Man Noir character was created by writers David Hine and Fabrice Sapolsky and artist Carime Di Giandomenico, with a costume designed by Marko Djurdjević. He was just one of several “Noir” versions of classic Marvel characters that the company published in the late 2000s and early 2010s. (There was also X-Men NoirDaredevil Noir, and Iron Man Noir, among others.) He got a major boost in profile from his inclusion in Into the Spider-Verse, with a wry vocal performance by Cage. (Interestingly, Noir is a bit of a comic relief figure in Spider-Verse, but the TV show looks darker and more overtly noirish.)

The Spider-Noir TV series is produced and co-showrun by Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot. They also developed the series, working with the Spider-Verse producing team of Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal.

Noir is now Cage’s second live-action Marvel superhero; he previously played Ghost Rider in two movies that were released in 2007 and 2011. In a million years, I would never have predicted we get a Spider-Man Noir TV series before we got a new live-action Spider-Man series. Granted, I would never have predicted a Spider-Noir TV series period.

Here is the series’ official synopsis:

Spider-Noir is a live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir. Spider-Noir tells the story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city’s one and only superhero.

Spider-Noir will debut on Amazon’s Prime Video on May 27. It will premiere prior to that on the MGM+ linear broadcast channel on May 25.

The Best Spider-Man Movie Never Made

Before Sam Raimi made Spider-Man 2, David Koepp wrote a script called The Amazing Spider-Man. It would have made a terrific movie.

  • A Pickleball Sports Comedy Was Bound to Happen. Now There’s a Trailer

    [ad_1]

A sports comedy about pickleball seemed bound to happen, and now there’s a trailer for one.

Below is a first look at Pickleheads, a comedy that premiered at the Austin Film Festival in October.

The mockumentary follows “a disgraced ping pong star who is dragged back into the limelight by a documentary crew, hoping to capture his redemption tale in a plucky new sport — pickleball” — or, as it’s described in the movie, “America’s fastest growing nightmare.” On his road to redemption, the former ping pong star “collides with nudist competitors, the local court kingpin Hawk Kai, while accidentally paddling his way into a turf war with displaced neighborhood protestors and tennis players who are sick of all that pickleball noise.”

The film was shot in Austin, which was previously named America’s pickleball capital, having more courts per capita than any other city. The film is directed by Rooster Teeth veteran Josh Flanagan and written by Jared Bonner and stars Pej Vahdat, Kristine Froseth, Jared Bonner, Harvey Guillén, John O’Hurley, Adrianne Palicki, Eric Nelsen, Ryan Cooper and Lindsey Morgan.

Pickleheads will have its Los Angeles premiere on March 1 and is currently seeking distribution.

  • A Marvel Hero Returns For the First Time in Years in the ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 Trailer

    [ad_1]

It’s not just Daredevil who’s born again on the new season of Daredevil: Born Again.

The show also features the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, the Marvel private eye character who had her own show on Netflix alongside Daredevil, and then appeared with him in Netflix’s The Defenders series. Ritter’s Jones, a detective and former superhero with powers of her own, hasn’t been seen since the end of her show in 2019.

Seven years later, she shows up in the trailer for Born Again Season 2 — which you can watch below.

READ MORE: 12 Actors Who Have Played Multiple Marvel Roles

In addition to Ritter and Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Born Again Season 2 also stars Vincent D’Onofrio as the Kingpin, plus Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, and Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn. If you spotted Matthew Lillard in the trailer, he’s supposedly playing “the mysterious Mr. Charles.”

After a rocky start to its production in which the series’ original showrunners were let go after multiple episodes were filmed so it could be reshot and go in a different creative direction, Born Again Season 1 got some of Marvel’s stronger reviews of any of their TV series. A lot of that probably had to do with the returns of Cox and DOnofrio, who are very good in their roles no matter what’s going on in the series around them.

Here is the series’ Season 2 synopsis:

In Season 2, Mayor Wilson Fisk crushes New York City underfoot as he hunts down public enemy number one, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante known as Daredevil. But beneath the horned mask, Matt Murdock will try to fight back from the shadows to tear down the Kingpin’s corrupt empire and redeem his home. Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.

  • Darth Maul Gets His Own TV Series – Watch the Trailer

    [ad_1]

You can’t keep a good Sith down. Even a really bad one.

He might have died more than 25 years ago in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (uh, spoilers), but Darth Maul has returned over and over again in a string of cartoons and live-action movies. Now he’s getting his own TV series, an animated show on Disney+ called Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord

It takes place after the events of the Clone Wars and shows how Maul fighting to launch a criminal empire. Its Maul is voiced by Sam Witwer, who previously portrayed the character on The Clone Wars animated series and voiced him in his brief appearance in Solo: A Star Wars Story as well.

The series was created by Dave Filoni, the long-time Star Wars guru behind The Clone Wars animated series, and the newly-installed head of creative at Lucasfilm. Watch the trailer for Maul – Shadow Lord below:

READ MORE: Every Star Wars Movie, Ranked From Worst to Best

There’s a new poster for the series as well.

Has any fictional character in any franchise gotten more mileage out of an incredible design and not a whole lot else than Darth Maul? He looks incredible. With the horns and the facial tattoos and that double-sided lightsaber, he strikes such an imposing silhouette. And … uh … well … well, he really does look great! Beyond that, I’ve never quite understood the appeal to keep bringing him back over and over again. But maybe in an animated series about a mysterious antihero carving up the galaxy, you don’t really need much more than that.

Here is the series’ official synopsis:

Set after the events of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” this pulpy adventure finds Maul plotting to rebuild his criminal syndicate on a planet untouched by the Empire. There, he crosses paths with a disillusioned young Jedi Padawan who could be the apprentice he is seeking to aid him in his relentless pursuit for revenge.

Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord premieres on Disney+ on April 6 with two episodes. Two more follow each week through the finale on May 4.

  • James Marsden Returns as Cyclops in Third ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Trailer

    [ad_1]

James Marsden makes a fiery return as the comic book character Cyclops in the latest preview for Avengers: Doomsday ahead of the movie’s December theatrical release.

As the X-Men return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the teaser, which dropped on Tuesday, mostly features Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Ian McKellen as Magneto in a somber dialogue about death. “The question is: Who would you be when you close your eyes?” Professor X questions at one point in the teaser.

That’s quickly followed by the character Scott Summers, also known as goggle X-Man Cyclops, suiting up for the upcoming film from directors Joe and Anthony Russo after earlier trailers revealed returns for God of Thunder Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Chris Evans as Steve Rogers.

The superheroes — everyone from the original X-Men to the Fantastic Four — will face off against Doctor Doom, played by Marvel patriarch Robert Downey Jr. in one of two Avengers films to roll out later this year.

Marsden appeared as the Marvel character in X-Men (2000), X2: X-Men United (2003) and X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), though his character died in the latter film. Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released in theaters Dec. 18.

Marsden, over the summer, spoke about returning to the Marvel universe and addressed his character’s fate.

“I’m getting a little long in the tooth to put on the superhero costume,” he said, laughing, in an interview with Vanity Fair. “I was excited because you’re a part of something gigantic. I’ve spent 20 years listening to people say, ‘When are you coming back? When are you coming back? Are you coming back?’ I’m dead. Well, maybe not. I’m going to have a tough time struggling to get into costume if they waited a couple more years. So it’s been a blast. It really has. It’s been a nice little homecoming to a role that really put me on the map. It was the first real event project that I was ever a part of, and a very beloved character, this icon from the comics. And so to step back into that role was pretty special.”

That will be preceded by the theatrical rerelease on Sept. 25 of Avengers: Endgame. Endgame was part of an epic story involving the villain Thanos and the culmination of Marvel’s phase three of its movie release slate.

  • The Official X-Men ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Teaser Debuts Online

    [ad_1]

At this point, we’ve got the pattern. Each week, a new Avengers: Doomsday teaser has debuted in theaters in front of Avatar: Fire and Ash. For a couple of days, you can only see it in the theater (or on social media in extremely grainy bootleg copies). Then it comes to the internet in full HD. Wash rinse repeat.

The first teaser revealed that Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers would be back in Avengers: Doomsday, despite his supposed retirement in Avengers: Endgame. The second featured Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, who we already knew was one of the main Avengers returning for this fifth Avengers movie.

The third teaser is the most intriguing so far, as it features the returns of Fox X-Men stars Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and James Marsden as Cyclops — who is seen wearing the character’s classic ’90s Jim Lee-designed costume for the very first time.

You can watch the full teaser below:

Additional confirmed stars beyond Evans, Hemsworth, and the cast of the X-Men franchise include Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Simu Liu, Tom Hiddleston, the combined casts of Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Robert Downey Jr. as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Doctor Doom. Based on the size of the list alone, I have to assume this film is 14 hours long.

  • ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ Revival Trailer Reveals the Show’s Story

    [ad_1]

Life’s still unfair for Malcolm in the Middle.

The much-anticipated first teaser for the series’ streaming revival, Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, is now online, and it reveals the basic outline of the four-episode show, which takes place 19 years after the original: Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) doesn’t want anything to do with his family now that he’s grown up, but he’s forced back into the fold for a special party for his parents (Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek). Malcolm in the Middle-style chaos ensues.

Malcolm in the Middle creator Linwood Boomer created and executive produced the new show as well. You can watch the first trailer for Life’s Still Unfair below:

Almost the entire original cast of the hit Fox sitcom, which aired 151 episodes across seven seasons from early 2000 to May 2006, returned for the revival. Erik Per Sullivan, who played Dewey, has retired from acting; his role is portrayed in the new show by Caleb Ellsworth-Clark. Jamie, the fifth son of the family, is played by Anthony Timpano. (A pair of brothers played Jamie on the old show.)

The original series followed Frankie Muniz’s Malcolm, a child prodigy, as he struggled to survive amidst his dysfunctional family. Here is the revival’s official synopsis:

After shielding himself from his family for over a decade, Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) is dragged back into their orbit when Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) demand his presence at their 40th anniversary party.

Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair premieres on Hulu on April 10. The revival will run for four episodes.

  • Cillian Murphy Makes His Awaited Return in ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’ Trailer

    [ad_1]

By the order of the Peaky Blinders, Cillian Murphy‘s Tommy Shelby and his crew of Birmingham mobsters are back in this teaser-trailer for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.

Netflix dropped the new footage for the upcoming film, the first big screen chapter following a six-season TV run, on Christmas Eve. Driven by the vibes and atmosphere Peaky Blinders fans know and love, Murphy’s Shelby is seen wondering a forest, graveyard and home as a voice ponders, “Whatever happened to Tommy Shelby?”

As a phone ring echoes, a series of scenes — some violent, bloody or alluding to the presence of Nazis — rapidly flash on screen. As Shelby responds, “I’m not that man anymore,” another series of images flash, this time of a massive building explosion, a red scarf draped over a headstone and a spinning coin. That’s when another voice tells Shelby, “You gotta come back,” as he slams his hands down on a table.

The move triggers even more scenes, this time with a rapid machine gun, a pocket watch, burning photos and a glimpse of cast member Barry Keoghan.

The minute-long teaser trailer, while sparse on narrative, is chock full of imagery fans of the series might recognize — and speculate about. The film itself is set in 1940 Birmingham amid WWII, with Shelby driven out of the self-imposed exile he chose at the end of season six. With both his family and country at stake, the equally brutal and charismatic gang leader will face his biggest and most destruction reckoning, taking on his own demons as he decides whether to confront his legacy or burn it down.

In a conversation with Netflix’s Tudum, Murphy discussed his decision to return to Shelby, after his character garnered a well-received series ending. “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me,” Murphy told Netflix. “It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans.”

Series creator Knight added: “The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders,” Knight told Netflix. “It will be an explosive chapter in the Peaky Blinders story. No holds barred. Full-on Peaky Blinders at war.”

Returning alongside Knight is director Tom Harper, with cast members including Murphy, Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee, Ian Peck, Jay Lycurgo, and Stephen Graham.

In December, Netflix announced that the return of Peaky Blinders would come in two forms — a two-week theatrical release on March 6, and then its streaming release, beginning March 20.

  • Steve Rogers Returns in the First ‘Avengers Doomsday’ Trailer

    [ad_1]

At this point Avengers: Doomsday is now a full-fledged Marvel Cinematic Universe reunion. It stars and is directed by people who all claimed they were done (done!) with Marvel after 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

Not so much. First Marvel coaxed back Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of Endgame (and Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Captain America: Civil War) to direct Doomsday, after the project was retooled following Jonathan Majors’ firing. (It turns out Kang’s dynasty wasn’t all that dynastic.) Then they got Robert Downey Jr. to come back and play Doctor Doom, even though Downey’s Iron Man heroically sacrificed himself to save half of the universe in Endgame.

Now the first teaser for Doomsday, which opens in theaters about a year from today, confirms that Chris Evans, whose Captain America supposedly retired from superhero stuff at the end of Endgame, will appear in the film as well. Following its debut in theaters ahead of Avatar: Fire and Ash, you can now watch this clip below in a non-crappy bootleg version:

  • ‘The Odyssey’ Trailer Debuts First Look at Nolan’s New Epic

    [ad_1]

Christopher Nolan is something of an old school filmmaker. He likes to shoot on film. He demands his movies play on the big screen — and preferably on IMAX which is a really big screen.

But even by his standards The Odyssey is really a throwback. After all, there aren’t many stories older that are still told and retold in modern times than Homer’s famous epic about the journey of Odysseus — played in Nolan’s version by Matt Damon.

The cast of of Nolan’s Odyssey also includes Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong’o, with Zendaya and Charlize Theron. An extended prologue for the film has been playing in front of Avatar: Fire and Ash, but here is the first official trailer for the movie online…

While The Odyssey is still half a year away, it’s already sold out numerous screenings; in an unusual move, Universal put tickets on sale for IMAX screenings one year in advance, and Nolan heads gobbled them up as soon as they were available. Nolan supposedly shot two million feet of film in assembling his version of the classic tale, which is his first project since his 2023 Oscar winner Oppenheimer.

It’s time to play the music. It’s time to light the lights. It’s time to give The Muppet Show another shot on TV.

It hasn’t been the best couple years for Jim Henson’s signature creations. It’s been years since they got a big-screen theatrical release (2014’s Muppets Most Wanted) and most of their straight-to-streaming shows and specials have gotten so-so reviews and very little attention. Over at Disney’s parks, the beloved Muppet*Vision 3D attraction — the last Muppets film Jim Henson personally worked on before his death — was permanently closed to make way for a new Monsters Inc. roller coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

So we’ll see how this latest Muppets revival does. This one is an attempt to resurrect the classic Muppet variety show of the 1970s, now executive produced by Seth Rogen.

The new show is, at least for now, is being billed as a “special event” and not a series; it will air on ABC and stream on Disney+.

  • First Trailer For Steven Spielberg’s Mysterious Sci-Fi Film Reveals the Movie’s Title and Premise

    [ad_1]

We’ve been hearing whispers and rumors for months about Steven Spielberg’s mysterious new movie, his first true alien movie since 2005’s War of the Worlds. Then billboards began popping up last week hyping the film, sans title, with the phrase “All Will Be Disclosed.”

That turned out to be a pretty big clue to the movie’s title: Disclosure Day, which was confirmed by the film’s first trailer.

Although the details of the plot are still vague, it’s clear the movie is about the revelation of alien life in the universe, and how the world — along with stars Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor — react to that news.

  • Kraken Trailer: Fearsome Sea Monster Is Unleashed in Horror Movie

    [ad_1]

Samuel Goldwyn Films has shared the official trailer for Kraken, the upcoming Norwegian monster horror movie. It is currently expected to make its U.S. debut sometime next year.

“In the film, Johanne is a marine biologist who is doing research on a fish farm in Vangsnes, a rural community located by the fjord, when she encounters several strange occurrences. Along with the brutal deaths of two local teenagers, all signs are pointing to the deep fjord; can there be more to the depths than the eye can see?” reads the official synopsis. “At the bottom of Norway’s deepest fjord rests a mythical monster as large as a mountain, with a myriad of arms ready to crush and devour anything they can grab.”

Check out the Kraken trailer below (watch more trailers):

What happens in the Kraken trailer?

The video introduces a marine biologist who investigates the brutal deaths of two local teenagers, which are somehow connected to the fjord. The trailer also teases how the monster was made by a greedy corporation that disrupted the fjord’s ecosystem for the sake of making profits. The ensemble cast includes Sara Khorami, Mikkel Bratt Silset, Ingvild Holthe Bygdnes, Jenny Evensen, and Steinar Klouman Hallert.

Kraken is directed by Pål Øie, with Vilde Eide writing the film’s screenplay. The suspense action thriller is produced by John Einar Hagen and Einar Loftesnes, with Sveinung Golimo serving as an executive producer. • Woody and Buzz Are Back in the First ‘Toy Story 5’ Teaser

    [ad_1]

Woody and Buzz are back together in the first teaser for Toy Story 5.

Although the two best toy buds went their separate ways at the end of Toy Story 4, they’re back in Bonnie’s room in this first look at the Pixar sequel. This early teaser does not reveal how the partners got back together, but it does make it clear that they’ve got a new new toy to deal with together: A tablet voiced by Greta Lee of Past Lives and Tron: Ares. (Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are, of course, back as the voices of Woody and Buzz.)

Here is the first poster for the film as well:

Pixar released two more official stills from the film along with the teaser:

This fifth Toy Story will be the first in the series directed by Pixar mainstay Andrew Stanton, who contributed to the scripts for all four previous Toy Story movies (and also directed Pixar classics like Finding Nemo and WALL-E). The last film in the franchise, Toy Story 4, premiered in the summer of 2019, and introduced several new characters to the series, including Forky, a sentient fork turned child’s plaything voiced by Tony Hale. (Both Forky and Hale will return in Toy Story 5.)

Here the new film’s official synopsis:

In the teaser, fans are introduced to the new character Lilypad, a high-tech frog-shaped smart tablet voiced by Greta Lee (“Past Lives,” “The Morning Show,” “TRON: Ares”) that makes Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs exponentially harder when they have to go head to head with the all-new threat to playtime. Tom Hanks returns as the ever loyal cowboy Woody, Tim Allen reports for duty as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack saddles up again as the rootin’ tootin’ cowgirl Jessie. It was recently announced that Conan O’Brien will also be a part of the voice cast as the toilet training tech toy,Smarty Pants.

Toy Story 5 is currently scheduled to premiere in theaters on June 19, 2026.

  • Uncut ‘Kill Bill’ Finally Debuts in Theaters Next Month

    [ad_1]

Quentin Tarantino always conceived Kill Bill as one massive epic of revenge. It was his distributor, Miramax, that wanted to cut it into two “volumes” in order to maximize their potential profits by selling two tickets to one movie.

In the intervening years, Tarantino has screened the original uncut version of the movie, which he calls Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, at some film festivals and at his theaters in Los Angeles. But the combined Kill Bill has never gotten a full theatrical release before 2025, when Lionsgate is finally putting out Tarantino’s version of Kill Bill in theaters around the country — and in 35mm and even 70mm to boot.

Uma Thurman stars in the film as “The Bride,” an assassin who is betrayed by the rest of her team of elite killers and left for dead at the orders of the group’s leader, Bill (David Carradine). She survives and then wanders the globe, tracking them down and killing her former partners one by one. The cast also includes Vivica A. Fox, Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah, and Michael Madsen.

Watch the trailer for the Kill Bill re-release below:

READ MORE: Every Quentin Tarantino Movie, Ranked From Worst to Best

There is a new poster for the combined Kill Bill below.

Here is the synopsis for the new cut of Kill Bill:

Presented exactly as writer/director Quentin Tarantino intended, complete with a new, never-before-seen anime sequence, KILL BILL: THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR unites Volume 1 and Volume 2 into a single, unrated epic. The highly anticipated release marks one of the rare times that the entire epic, starring Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, Gordon Liu, Michael Parks, and David Carradine as “Bill,” has been presented as a single, combined film.

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is scheduled to open in theaters on December 5.

  • Don Swayze Deals With Addiction & Memory Loss in All Saints Day Trailer

    [ad_1]

One Tree Entertainment has released the official All Saints Day trailer for the upcoming family drama. Fittingly premiering on the All Saints’ Day holiday, the film stars Don Swayze as a suffering alcoholic whose family intervenes. Directed by Matt Aaron Krinsky in his feature debut, the film will be released on digital platforms on December 2, 2025.

“To stop his oldest brother from drinking himself to death, Ronan enlists the help of their estranged priest brother and long-lost sister, sparking a chaotic family reunion, a botched intervention, and an unexpected journey into forgiveness and reckoning,” says the official synopsis.

Check out the All Saints Day trailer below:

Who is involved with All Saints Day?

Besides Swayze (Honey Don’t), the film also stars Lenny Clarke, Jeff Berg, Chad Doreck, and Aly Trasher. It is written by Julianne Homokay, who is adapting her own award-winning stage play. Krinsky previously directed several short films, including 2022’s Brothers on a Motel Bed and a segment from 2020’s Tales from the Grave: The Movie.

“The release of All Saints Day marks the end of a ten-year journey that began when I directed the premiere staged reading of Julianne Homokay’s play,” says Krinsky. “My mission was to craft a studio-quality film with an indie mentality — and to make it happen with a team of equally passionate cast and crew. Together, we told a story that captures what it’s really like to be part of a family: often flawed, sometimes funny, but always grounded in love. I can’t wait for audiences to see a bit of their own family in the Connolly siblings.”

All Saints Day is produced by Krinsky and Nicole Pascarelli O’Brien. Executive producers include Homokay, Swayze, and Steven A. Waxman. The film is shot by cinematographer Sam Krueger and features an original score by Ece Muniroglu.
