    Fort Worth police responded about 2 a.m. Sunday to a crash in the 11900 block of West Freeway .

    When officers arrived they found two vehicles that were involved in the crash, police said.

    One occupant died at the scene and another occupant was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

    Police did not release details about what led to the crash or the people involved.

    About 5 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a crash in the 3000 Las Vegas Trail, police said.

    A vehicle crashed and collided with a tree. Officers found that a single occupant of the vehicle died at the scene, police said.

    Police said traffic investigation detectives are investigating further details about the fatalities.

    Arlington police are investigating a crash that killed a 32-year-old man early Sunday, officials said.

    A Ford Explorer traveling northbound on South Cooper Street about 3:40 a.m. was hit by a Honda Civic headed westbound on Pioneer Parkway, police said in a news release. The Honda’s driver ran a red light, police said.

    The driver of the Explorer and two passengers were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. The driver of the Honda was also taken to a hospital and died around three hours after the crash. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified him as Walton Yohelis Rios-Vallejos.

    Investigators haven’t ruled out intoxication or speed as factors in the fatal accident, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

    One person was killed on a Fort Worth highway early Saturday after their vehicle was rear-ended, police say.

    One person was killed on Interstate 30 in east Fort Worth early Saturday after their vehicle was rear-ended, police said.

    Officers responded to the major accident in the eastbound lanes of I-30 near Eastchase Parkway shortly before 1 a.m. The driver of the car that was hit died at the scene, according to police.

    The Traffic Investigation Unit is looking into the crash. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will publicly identify the person who died. More information about the accident wasn’t immediately available.
