Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington are bringing their avant-comedy film show On Cinema at the Cinema to venues around North America next year. Set to take place in early 2026, the Certified Five Bags of Popcorn Tour is billed as a combination variety show and movie review panel, with Heidecker and Turkington portraying their on-screen On Cinema personas. The comedy duo have also shared a trailer for the tour; check that out, plus their full list of tour dates, below.

The Certified Five Bags of Popcorn Tour starts on March 21 in Chicago, and makes stops in Toronto, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Seattle, San Francisco, and other cities. The route currently ends in Los Angeles on April 17.

On Cinema at the Cinema returns to HEI Network tonight for its 16th season. For the live tour, Heidecker will reprise his role as wellness guru Dr. Newman Heidecker, with both him and Turkington weighing in on movies, each others’ opinions, and plenty of sidetracked gripes. In 2019, the duo turned the On Cinema comedy series into a deluxe, hardbound, episode-by-episode book.

Last year, Heidecker released a new album with his Very Good Band called Slipping Away. It’s the sixth solo LP of his music career and followed 2022’s High School.

Nine Inch Nails are extending the Peel It Back Tour into 2026. A new run of North American dates with Boys Noize kicks off in February in New Orleans and wraps more than 20 shows later in California the following month. Check out the itinerary below.

Nine Inch Nails are fresh off their last stretch of tour dates, as well as the release of their Tron: Ares OST, ahead of the film’s release on October 10. Just before their latest stint on the road, the band swapped drummers with Foo Fighters, switching out Ilan Rubin for Josh Freese.

Doja Cat released her latest album, Vie, last week. Now the pop star and rapper has announced a massive tour in support of the new LP. The Tour Ma Vie World Tour begins this fall and winter in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, with further stretches to come in Latin America, Europe, and North America throughout 2026. Check out Doja Cat’s full roster of dates below, including a festival stint at Primavera Sound Barcelona and further stops in major cities such as London, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Paris, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Berlin, and New York.

Vie is Doja Cat’s fifth studio album. The follow-up to 2023’s Scarlet featured the lead singles “Jealous Type” and “Gorgeous.” She performed the former song at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, where she brought Kenny G onstage for a saxophone solo. Earlier this month, Doja Cat was also announced as the musical guest for the upcoming 51st season premiere of Saturday Night Live alongside host Bad Bunny, which airs this Saturday (October 4).

Last month, Amaarae shared her new album Black Star. Now, the Ghanaian American singer has announced a short North American tour. The Black Star Experience will bring Amaarae to New York City, Toronto, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles in November and December. Check out her upcoming shows below.

Black Star was led by the singles “S.M.O.” and “Girlie-Pop!” Album track “Fineshyt” also received a release-day music video. Last week, Amaarae made her late-night debut with a performance of “Fineshyt” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

LCD Soundsystem have announced their annual New York residency for 2025. James Murphy will play 12 nights at Knockdown Center, in Queens, from November through December. Check out all their forthcoming dates below.

Various opening acts will be announced at a later date. The residency will also feature nightly afterparties with live DJs, a DFA swap meet, and an outpost of Murphy’s Four Horsemen wine bar, among other attractions. The run follows New York residencies in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, as well as several in other cities.

Welsh rock band Mclusky are returning to North America for a 2026 tour. It marks their first time playing the United States and Canada since releasing The World Is Still Here and So Are We, their comeback album and first LP in 20 years. Check out the complete list of tour dates below.

“Nostalgia—which is a powerful drug, it turns out—brought us back to your shores just a couple of years ago. Some people got to remember what they were like when they were 20—their hopes, their dreams, their fully operational knee joints,” frontman Andrew Falkous said. “Now we all get a chance to break free from nostalgia, to prove to ourselves that we’re more than the cast of cocoon sporting telecasters. We (the band) get to play the old songs—the ‘hits’ as a much loved grandparent might have it—and the new ones too. (Well, probably five or six of them over the course of a set, that’s the magic number for ‘new.’)”

The band—whose lineup currently stars singer-guitarist Andrew Falkous, drummer Jack Egglestone, and bassist Damien Sayell—released its previous album, The Difference Between Me and You Is That I’m Not on Fire, in 2004. Afterward, Mclusky released the compilation Mcluskyism and split up. It wasn’t until 2022 that Mclusky formally reunited as a band to play shows together again and record new music, starting with the double-A-side single “Unpopular Parts of a Pig / The Digger You Deep.”

The 200 Best Albums of the 2000s

Kevin Parker has plotted an imminent Tame Impala tour of the United States, kicking off at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 31 before dates in Chicago, Illinois; Austin, Texas; and a Californian run with stops in Inglewood, Oakland, and San Diego. Check out the itinerary below.

The news follows the announcement yesterday of Deadbeat, Tame Impala’s follow-up to The Slow Rush. That’s out October 17. The singles “End of the Summer”and “Loser” have been the first taste of the LP.

If you thought the Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour was over, then you simply thought wrong. The musician has announced more dates on the years-long tour, with the new shows taking place between April and August 2026. Joining the Weeknd at Mexican and Brazilian shows is Anitta, and Playboi Carti is opening on the European and UK leg of the tour. See the Weeknd’s tour dates below.

The Weeknd first announced his tour in 2020. He eventually began it in 2022, and he went on to play shows that year, as well as in 2023, 2024, and 2025. The tour is in support of three albums: After Hours (2020), Dawn FM (2022), and Hurry Up Tomorrow (2025).

Later this month, on Saturday, September 27, the Weeknd will headline the Global Citizen Feestival. The event takes place on the Great Lawn of New York’s Central Park.
