  • 5 Songs We Hope To Hear On KEY’s KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley Tour

    [ad_1]

If we’d known 2025 would be THE year for K-Pop solo artists, we would’ve saved a lot more money. From solo comebacks to solo world tours, fans are getting blessed left and right! The latest tour announcement? None other than SHINee’s KEY, who just released his third studio album, Hunter, last month.

KEY will make his grand entrance as a solo artist in North America for his KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley tour this December. We can’t wait to welcome our king across six amazing shows! We already started brainstorming a few dozen concert outfits to wear.

KEY is such an icon and inspiration to us here at THP, and we have no doubt his concerts will blow past all of our expectations. Each SHINee member’s solo endeavors have been well worth the wait. For now, we’re giving you our dream setlist with five KEY songs we hope to hear on his KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley tour!

    ‘HUNTER’

Of course, we had to start off strong with KEY’s latest title track, ‘HUNTER!’ This dance-pop track pairs with an incredible choreography that we would kill (or even hunt) to see live. We imagine this performance happening at the climax of the concert right before the encore, after we’ve been jumping and singing along and our energy levels reach a new peak.

    ‘GLAM’

Next, we have another song from KEY’s HUNTER album, ‘GLAM!’ It’s one of our favorite b-sides, and we’d include the whole album on this dream setlist if we could. The beat drop just scratches a specific part of our brain that feels the need to get up and dance our hearts out. We guarantee that if he plays this live on his North America tour, the concert would turn into a rave.

    ‘Gasoline’

The next song on our dream setlist for KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley is ‘Gasoline!’ This high-octane title track from his second studio album was a cultural reset. The outfits, choreography, and visuals are all 10s across the board for us! We can imagine KEY opening his concert and getting us fired up to this song. Catch us screaming as soon as we hear the brass instrumentals come through!

    ‘Golden’

We never skip through KEY’s b-sides, especially not ‘Golden’ from his third EP, Pleasure Shop! (We would argue for any song on this mini-album, but ‘Golden’ especially.) This track is, in a few words, freeing, hopeful, and bright. It makes us feel absolutely unstoppable like KEY, like we can be anything we set our minds to. We really hope he plays ‘Golden’ for one of his encore songs.

    ‘Forever Yours (Feat. Soyou)’

This one might be a stretch, but we’d love to hear KEY’s solo debut song on his KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley tour. ‘Forever Yours (feat. Soyou)’ from his first solo album, FACE, still lives in our minds rent-free. The upbeat instrumental is perfect for keeping the audience’s energy up when it starts to feel like we’re nearing the end of the show. We’d be happy even if he just sings a short snippet of it between sets.

    KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley Tour

We can’t wait to see what KEY has in store for his first solo North America tour. His sets and outfits will wow us for sure! And with a tour name like KEYLAND: Uncanny Valley, we know it’ll be nothing short of iconic. Soundcheck Recap: Shawn Mendes, Halsey, And More!

    [ad_1]

Blotched with pink and white swirls, slapped with a plane sticker, or—if you’re one of those minimalist types—just a classic sky blue, what most would call ‘travel luggage,’ we true fans know as ‘concert time!’ It’s our one foolproof excuse to drop everything, pack up, and spend a few glorious days watching our faves flounce on stage. That’s why we become the frazzled Gollum upon collecting even more digital tickets, snarling “my precious” whenever we join the headache-inducing queue. Luckily for you, we’re about to give you even more chances to experience live music with a series called Soundcheck Recap! We’ll review the latest touring news each week, recount the best moments, and show you how to make your ticket list scroll for days.

    Busted Vs. McFly

It’s the ultimate toss-up of the boy bands, or if you’re more of a lover than a fighter, you’re probably cheesing at seeing all of them on stage together. Just imagine the shenanigans! In a moment we captured, Busted and McFly announced that they would travel around Europe together late next year. The tour will begin in Birmingham and then wrap up in Belfast, and though the general sale kicked off on the 18th, the ticketing gods have still favored latecomers by having plenty still available.

    Foster The People

We’ve been looking for a slice of paradise for a while now, and we can rely on Foster The People to give it to us with their North American-spanning Paradise State of Mind Tour! Like Busted and McFly, the general sale was on Friday, but we can never discount bliss, so make sure you’re seated.

    Shawn Mendes

Where thou art, Shawny boy? It turns out that despite the album release—that doesn’t take a liking to our nickname for him but just his first name itself—moving from October 18th to November 15th, it’s still rolling out with a bang. One that features an extreme screen, popcorn brewing until our fingers taste buttery. Shawn Mendes: For Friends And Family Only (A Live Concert Film) will appear at selected worldwide cinemas just one day before the album comes out, so November 14 for those who aren’t human calculators. The exact locations and ways to purchase tickets will shuffle out at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET on October 24.

    Shakira

‘Whenever, Wherever’ may just have to be the answer for American fans when it comes to Shakira’s shaking hips as she’s upgraded those dates to full-on stadiums! We should’ve known that was coming, as she’s been a titan lately, stealing Taylor Swift’s lucky number 13 and making it her own by selling out that amount of stadiums for her international leg in under two hours. Woah, wiping sweats off our brows and still not being able to think about anything as prestigious as we can do in that time frame. Next year is shaping up to be her year with the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour!

    Carrie Underwood

Las Vegas is the likely place to see someone slash their cheating exes tiers, so it’s a good fortune that Carrie Underwood has been there singing such sassy tunes for her REFLECTION residency. However, soon enough, they will have to find another singer to give them that pep talk as its final dates have been announced. The residency will wrap up on April 12th. Tickets for these final dates also went on sale on Friday, but as always, there are still a few to choose from, so it’s better to be late but not wholly late.

    Halsey

Well, now we’re just kicking our feet, wishing we were a Wells Fargo Autograph Credit holder. You’re one? That’s super lucky because Halsey’s doing an intimate event at San Francisco’s Regency Ballroom on November 21st, no doubt in celebration of their upcoming album, The Great Impersonator. Shuffle your fortune-telling cards and see if they decipher if you’ll land tickets in their remaining sale on October 24th at 10 a.m. PT.

  • 5 Mark Ambor Lyrics You Need To Scream At The Rockwood Tour

5 Mark Ambor Lyrics You Need To Scream At The Rockwood Tour

    [ad_1]

If you haven’t heard of Mark Ambor yet, brace yourself because we know the whole world will buzz about him sooner rather than later! Hailing from small-town New York, Mark has nailed his own refreshing brand of alt-pop guaranteed to pull at your heartstrings and get you on your feet. His singles and EPs so far have racked up hundreds of millions of streams, and we can’t wait to hear his debut Rockwood album, which he wrote and produced in his childhood home. Make sure you pre-save it and give it a listen on August 16th!

But that’s not all we have to look forward to! Starting in October, Mark is heading out on his worldwide Rockwood Tour, trekking across the U.S. and Europe through the spring. We already know these shows will be full of life and make amazing memories. To celebrate Mark’s success and get you excited for the Rockwood Tour, we’re choosing five lyrics you’ll need to yell at the top of your lungs if you get tickets! And Mark, feel free to take notes on this while you’re preparing the setlist.

“You and me belong together like cold iced tea and warmer weather…”

‘Belong Together’ is, simply put, one of the cutest love songs we’ve ever heard, and there are so many lyrics we debated putting here. But we ultimately decided on this one because it really speaks to the bond between two people who love each other… much like the bond you notice between a performer and a passionate crowd at a concert. How fun would it be to sing about warmer weather at the European shows or daydream about summer at the colder U.S. stops?

“I’ll be singing to the lights of a crowded sold-out room…”

First step: we need our fellow Mark fans to sell out as many of the Rockwood Tour shows as possible. Second step: yell this line from ‘I Hope It All Works Out’ back at him as loudly as possible! The song beautifully explores heartbreak and nostalgia, while this line looks forward to a future where Mark gets to pursue his dreams and find excitement in his life even if the relationship didn’t work out how he hoped.

“We might be lost, but we’ll find our way…”

Being in the right fandom can really feel like a found family, and we hope all Mark Ambor lovers get that comforting feeling around fellow fans! It’d be so special to sing this lyric from ‘Our Way’ with an audience as passionate about Mark’s music as you are. And can you imagine how powerful it would be to hear an entire crowd echoing this hopeful line? We have chills just thinking about it.

“Damn it, it’s so good to be alive!”

This lyric appears in ‘Belong Together’ and ‘Good To Be,’ so there’s a bit of a double whammy here! And yes, you should scream it both times if both songs make it onto Mark’s setlist. Concerts are one of the most thrilling things any music lover can experience, so singing along with this lyric will make you appreciate the present moment. It’d also be an adorable Instagram caption for your post-show photo dump!

“All the ways that I’ve held on to every single moment, all the promises you’ve broken…”

We got a little preview of Mark’s Rockwood track ‘Academy Street,’ with a title paying homage to his hometown, on a TikTok Live, and this line has lived in our heads rent-free since then. When you look back on a relationship, you probably see a mosaic of the good and bad times in your head: romanticizing the happy memories and still reeling a bit at the sad ones. This lyric will be so cathartic to sing along to for anyone who’s had their heart broken, along with the rest of the impactful bridge!

Which of these lyrics is your favorite? Is there a certain song you’re hoping to hear live on the Rockwood Tour? Be sure to grab your tickets, then tell us your thoughts in the comments below, or hit us up on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
