  • Tiffany Haddish Finally Addresses Rumor She Welcomed A Child With Jason Lee: ‘The Whole World Has Lost Their Mind Over This Beautiful Baby’

The actress and comedian continued her weeklong guest-hosting gig on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, Aug. 19, and during her monologue, she finally addressed claims that she had welcomed a baby with her good friend Jason Lee.

This comes a few weeks after the star left fans wondering if she had secretly welcomed a child after she posted a snap with Lee while holding a baby. Though the pair were obviously trying to stir up some drama with the post, captioning their joint baby pic with, “Cats out the bag,” Haddish acted like she didn’t understand all of the confusion around her upload.

“There is a personal matter I feel must be addressed,” she began during her monologue. “Two weeks ago, I put something on the Instagram that made everyone go a little crazy. It was a picture of me and my friend Jason Lee posing with the baby and the caption, ‘Cats out the bag.’ ”

She continued, “For some reason, people saw this and thought I had a baby. “Like, there were articles about this everywhere. Even my own relatives were asking if I had a secret baby, which is kind of insulting because they are all living in my house and blocking me from getting any d**k.”

Haddish went on to ask Lee, who was in the audience, what he thought about the rumors. He also played coy, once again acting like he didn’t know why the post was met with so much confusion.

“The whole world has lost their mind over this beautiful baby,” he said, with Haddish adding, “We just took a picture with a baby and then that went crazy so now we got a godbaby.”

The comedian continued, “Jason, the offer still is on the table if you want to make a real baby together,” she teased, adding, “You know I’m traditional.”

Lee responded, “And I’m still gay.”

That’s when Haddish addressed the claims head-on, saying: “So just to be clear, I did not have a baby, but I am open to it…Wide open to it.”

“I even have a list of potential baby daddies,” the actress continued, naming stars like Tom Cruise, Jason Momoa and Brad Pitt. She also included New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton, broadcaster Melvin Robert, Jimmy Kimmel Live! producer Ken Crosby, actor Pedro Pascal and the character Marcus Winfield, played by Toby Sandeman, on the Netflix series Running Point.

“Now, if you or someone you know wants to put a baby in me, please reach out on social media using the hashtag #PastramiMommy,” Tiffany concluded.

Tiffany Haddish Weighs In On Common and JHud’s Relationship – AGAIN

Though she has seemingly moved on, Tiffany Haddish has some opinions about Jennifer Hudson’s relationship with her ex, Common. While promoting her upcoming book, Tiffany Haddish discusses her thoughts on their romance and reflects on her past fling with the rapper.

While visiting the Making Space with Hoda Kotb podcast on May 8, 2024, Tiffany Haddish seemingly approved her ex-boyfriend’s relationship with Common. As BOSSIP reported last year, Haddish received some backlash after seemingly shading the new romance. Now, the comedian is singing a different tune.

“I love Jennifer. I hope they’re having fun,” she stated on the podcast.

The 44-year-old then talked about her year-long relationship with Common and stated that she had fun while she was with them. If you recall, in 2023, Haddish revealed their break-up was not mutual, and she was caught off guard.

Tiffany Haddish discusses the break-up with Kotb further, “It’s like, you remember when you was a kid and you’d be on a play date, and y’all like playing, having a good time, and then all of a sudden, y’all like sliding down the slide, and then you turn around and go, ‘Where did they go? Where did they — where’d they go?’” She continued, “And you see them waving at you and they mama carrying them. And they’re like, ‘Byeee.’ That’s what it was like.”

The Girls Trip actress also discussed her upcoming book, I Curse You with Joy, a collection of essays. According to TooFab, she stated that while the book discusses some of her past relationships, Common is not mentioned.

Tiffany Haddish Speaks On Battle Endometriosis

On Thursday, April 25, PEOPLE published an exclusive interview with Haddish. During the conversation, the comedian got candid about her personal health and “suffering from endometriosis.” To note, Mayo Clinic reports that the condition occurs when “tissue that is similar to the inner lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus.”

Additionally, the outlet notes that the condition is “often painful.”

“I’m pretty sure the devil is real,” Haddish told the outlet. “Because the first day of my period, no matter what, the devil goes into overdrive. I feel like my life gets turned upside down… [I] be like, ‘Am I dying?’”

Furthermore, Haddish explained that in November 2023, she went to the doctor because she was constantly fainting.

“She gave me something because I kept passing out. I don’t talk about it, but people just think I’m sleep everywhere, but I’m passing out because I’ll be in so much pain,” the comedian explained.

The Comedian Opens Up About Her 8 Miscarriages

The 44-year-old explained that her battle with the condition has become so severe that she’s had to undergo extensive surgery. Haddish said that the pain feels like someone is “kicking” her in her back. Additionally, she shared that she recently learned that “extra layers” of endo were “hanging down” from her uterus.

“They’ve shaved it down, I had to do a fibroid [removal] thing,” Haddish explained. “I just want them to stay out of [there].”

However, despite the extensive surgery, the comedian says the side effects of miscarriages have been the most “devastating.” Additionally, she revealed she most recently experienced one last year.

“It’s so f*****g devastating,” Haddish shared. “Every time I find out I’m pregnant, I’m like, ‘Don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t do nothing. Even if I don’t really want [the baby], I still try to give it a chance.”

Tiffany Haddish Recently Revealed THESE Personal Milestones

As The Shade Room previously reported, Haddish also revealed to PEOPLE that she is now six months sober and celibate.

“I’m very sober,” she explained. “…When I sit back and look at my life, everything that’s crazy that’s happened is because somebody or myself had alcohol in their system.

Haddish explained that previously, when she was under the influence, she would be more prone to sexual behavior.

“With alcohol [my mind] would just be like, ‘You’re horny, let’s just do it.’ [Now] I be like ‘nah, nope.’”

In HER interview with PEOPLE, published on April 25, Haddish explained that she’s now dating “multiple guys.” Additionally, she shared that there’s “a part” of her that still wants to become a mother.

“I’ve got all this love, I should give it to somebody who can grow with it,” she said.

Funniest (And Messiest) Moments From Mo’Nique’s Sweet Baby Smackdown Of Oprah, Tyler Perry & More On ‘Club Shay Shay’

    Another Club Shay Shay classic

Source: CHRIS DELMAS/AFP via Getty Images

Social media is buzzing over Mo’Nique laying the sweet baby smackdown on Oprah, Tyler Perry, Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, D.L. Hughley, and, at one point, Skip Bayless on the latest thoroughly entertaining episode of Shannon Sharpe‘s Club Shay Shay podcast.

As previously reported, Mo’Nique claimed that her pay disparity grievances have been downplayed because she’s a “fat Black woman” while Taraji P. Henson’s similar comments were praised, but she said a wholeeeee lot more during the internet-shattering sitdown.

Check out the full 3-hour episode below:

Catching the brunt of Mo’Nique’s wrath was Tiffany Haddish for comments she made about her husband Sidney Hicks, who is also her manager.

Back in 2018, Haddish discussed Mo’Nique with GQ magazine amid the comedienne’s then-call for a Netflix boycott, saying:

“My business run different than her business. I don’t live her life. I don’t have that husband of hers. I’m looking at how [Netflix has] opened up so many opportunities for black females and comedy. When my people are dying, that’s when you gonna catch me protesting. I’m not gonna protest because somebody got offered not the amount of money they wanted to get offered.

In the now-viral moment, Mo’Nique flamebroiled Haddish, referencing the “Girls Trip” star’s DUI arrests and previous lawsuit alleging sexual battery, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse of a minor.

“When I saw that, it’s like, Tiffany, if you had a husband like mine, you may not have two DUIs,” said Mo’Nique on Club Shay Shay. “If you had a husband like mine, you may not be caught up in what looks like you could have been grooming a child.”

he said, ‘I can see the pain in you, and I can hear it,’” said continued. “‘And I want to let you know that I would never do nothing to hurt you.’ But the conversation kept going on, only for Tyler Perry to admit he did start a rumor that I was difficult to work with. He lied.”

You can read about the rest of Mo’Nique’s fired shots on Club Shay Shay here.

Are you Team Mo’Nique or do you think she went too far? Who would you want to see on Club Shay Shay next? Tell us down below and peep the funniest (and messiest) moments from the interview on the flip.

  • Tiffany Haddish raves about 'beautiful' Beverly Hills jail: juice, maxi pads and naps

Tiffany Haddish raves about 'beautiful' Beverly Hills jail: juice, maxi pads and naps

Tiffany Haddish was looking on the bright side during her Christmas set at the Laugh Factory, making light of her Thanksgiving weekend arrest and the Beverly Hills jail she was locked up in.

The comedian, who was taken into custody on Nov. 24 after being found asleep behind the wheel, was charged earlier this month with two misdemeanors — one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of driving with at least a 0.08% blood alcohol level. She pleaded not guilty to both charges during her Dec. 20 arraignment.

“I know I’ll be all right, I’ve been through way worse than this,” she quipped onstage during the Monday night feast at the comedy club, according to footage obtained by TMZ. “I’m sorry but you ain’t lived ’til you got arrested in Beverly Hills. It’s beautiful over there. I’ve been in quite a few jails … and if you’re gonna do something, I say get arrested over there ’cause that jail is nice.

The 44-year-old raved about the iconic enclave’s detention facility, specifically its cleanliness and how she was offered food and juice. She also shared that she started her menstrual cycle in jail that day and revealed that “they had the best maxi pads,” joking that they were so large she could use an additional one as a pillow.

“I did that. I took a nap. It was beautiful, mm-hmm, it was a wonderful experience,” she said.

Before the event, the “Girls Trip” and “Haunted Mansion” star reflected on the arrest and charges, getting candid about what she learned from the ordeal in a Friday radio interview while plugging her Christmas Day performance at the Laugh Factory’s 44th Free Christmas Feast and Comedy Show. As she explained it, she hands out free meals and performs during the community feasts out of duty and necessity, but she said her involvement ultimately stretches her too thin.

“I’m not perfect. I’m a human being,” she said on Los Angeles’ all-news radio station KNX. “And I’ve been doing my research on this. A million people in America every year are charged with DUI. And what have I realized? I gotta go to bed. I can’t help everybody. OK. I can’t show up and rescue people, ’cause I be tired.

“I’ve learned also that everyone thinks I’m super rich and I think that they forget that I’m a Black woman working in this business,” she added. “And they think that people want to work on holidays. And they don’t. The driver don’t want to drive on the holidays and they definitely don’t want to drive me to go help somebody else. They’re not going there,” she said. (Haddish was arrested on Thanksgiving after serving meals at L.A.’s Laugh Factory and performing a set at the historic comedy club.)

Her remarks came on the heels of “Empire” and “The Color Purple” star Taraji P. Henson making headlines and gaining broad support from other Black entertainers after talking about the pay disparity in Hollywood.

Although Haddish previously quipped about her run-ins with law enforcement in California and Georgia, she said she’s “doing great” and dealing with underlying issues in therapy.

“I’ve been taking care of me. I’ve been going to therapy since I was 16, and me and the therapist was definitely talking about this. And I’ve learned that I have to have boundaries — with you, with anybody, especially with my friends and family, I have to have boundaries,” she said.

“I think because I grew up in foster care, because I didn’t have a lot of friends growing up, I didn’t have a support system — I try to show up for other people and I have to realize a lot of them [are] not going to show up for me. Although, they did show up to jail when I was walking out, they was all standing there in the lobby, sure was.”

The Emmy- and Grammy-winning actor said that people are shocked that she still performs at the Laugh Factory’s community events, which she remembers attending as “a homeless individual” in the late 1990s.

“People think that once you get a certain level of fame, you don’t show up no more. I notice a lot of celebrities don’t show up no more. … A lot of those people that used to be there — those comics, those entertainers — they don’t come anymore. I’ve never wanted to be that person that stops showing up,” she explained.

However, given how her arrest played out worldwide, Haddish said this might be her last year performing at the events.

“I might have to stop showing up. I’m going to show up this year, but next year I might not because I’m famous, famous,” she said. “A lot of other famous people get DUIs, you don’t ever see them on the news, and I was on the Korean news, girl. I didn’t know I crossed over. I didn’t know I had a crossover. I said, ‘Wow, I’m white girl famous with Black girl problems.’”

  • Tiffany Haddish Turns DUI Arrest Into Comedy Fodder

Tiffany Haddish Turns DUI Arrest Into Comedy Fodder

As the old saying goes, “comedy equals tragedy plus time.” But comedian and actor Tiffany Haddish didn’t need much in the way of time to recycle an upsetting situation into her standup set, unless you consider 36 hours a big gap.

As was widely reported this weekend, Haddish was arrested early Friday morning on Beverly Drive in Los Angeles by the Beverly Hills Police Department. According to police, they received a report of an unconscious driver in a lane of traffic at around 5:45 a.m.; photos and video from the scene, which TMZ published, show the actress in handcuffs. Police say she’s suspected of driving under the influence, the Associated Press reports. A representative for Haddish has not responded to Vanity Fair’s request for comment as of publication time.

The night before, Haddish had appeared at comedy club Laugh Factory Hollywood for its “43rd annual free Thanksgiving feast for the community,” KTLA reports. “When I first started here, I was sitting at the tables eating. I was receiving a meal,” Haddish said that night. “Full circle, and I’m so glad to keep doing that.”

Haddish was also booked at the Laugh Factory Long Beach for shows on Friday and Saturday. After she was released by police Friday afternoon, she managed to fulfill that commitment, and hit the stage that very night (but got a ride home, as TMZ notes). During her second show at the club, on Saturday, an audience member apparently asked about the arrest.

“What happened last night?” Haddish asked rhetorically. “You tell me. I don’t know.” According to the New York Post, she said she had “Prayed to God to send me a man with a job, preferably in a uniform.”

“God answered my prayers,” she said. “Because God believes in me.”

If that response sounds familiar, you’re not wrong. The Emmy and Grammy winner was arrested in Atlanta in early 2022 under very similar circumstances, when Haddish was allegedly asleep behind the wheel on a Georgia street, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported at the time

A few months later, while acting as guest host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Haddish said, “I’ve been praying to God to send me a man, and in January, he went ahead and sent me four. In uniform.”

“Yeah, they were the police. They got good benefits and everything, so I can’t even be mad,” Haddish said. “And yes, I did get charged with a DUI, which stands for Dumb Unfortunate Incidents.”

Details on charges for Haddish in this latest arrest have not been released as of publication time, but in the Atlanta case, Haddish was charged with DUI and improper stopping on a roadway. She’s expected to stand trial in Georgia next month, Deadline reports

During an interview with Jimmy Fallon last year, Haddish said she was ready for court, CNN reported at the time. “And now I got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out,” she said. “I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better!”

  • ‘Haunted Mansion’ Announces Disney+ Premiere Date

‘Haunted Mansion’ Announces Disney+ Premiere Date

Just in time for the Halloween season, Disney’s new version of Haunted Mansion is coming to Disney+. The movie is based on the classic thrill ride at Disneyland, of course. It’s not the first time the ride has been adapted into film, since there was an Eddie Murphy-fronted effort back in 2003. In 2010, Guillermo Del Toro was attached to direct another Haunted Mansion-themed project, but it failed to materialize.

The new film stars a ton of heavy hitters in an all-star ensemble cast, made up of the likes of Lakeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny DeVito, Rosario Dawson, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto. If you don’t want to subscribe to Disney+ just to watch the movie, you’ll also be able to purchase a digital version of the film starting on the same date.

READ MORE: Several Upcoming Marvel Disney+ Shows Have Been Delayed

The film hit theaters on July 28, and it received pretty mixed reviews. Here is an excerpt from ScreenCrush’s own 5/10 review:

If Haunted Mansion had been a little more invested in this bereavement theme, it might have risen to the level of something like Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, which elevated an exercise in corporate brand refurbishment through sheer force of directorial vision. Simien’s film never quite gets there; it’s so possessed with recreating the ride’s details that it misses a bit of the ride’s spirit. A list of Easter eggs hidden in Haunted Mansion would be a waste of time; practically everything is an Easter egg, and none of them are hidden.

Unfortunately, the people involved in the project were unable to attend the premiere of the movie as a result of the ongoing strike. It seems like the consensus is that the film isn’t quite funny or scary enough to work.

Haunted Mansion premieres on Disney+ on October 4.

  • Tiffany Haddish says Common broke up with her over the phone | CNN

Tiffany Haddish says Common broke up with her over the phone | CNN

    CNN
     —

Tiffany Haddish says her former relationship with rapper and actor Common was “the healthiest, the funnest relationship I’ve ever had.”

    Until it wasn’t.

In a recently published interview with the Washington Post the actress recounted meeting Common on the set of the 2019 movie “The Kitchen,” in which she co-starred with Melissa McCarthy and Elisabeth Moss.

“It’s where I felt safest out of all the relationships I’ve ever had,” Haddish said of her romantic relationship with Common.

But things went left, she said, as he began to withdraw and increasingly attend events she was not invited to. The couple reportedly split in 2021 and Haddish told the Washington Post he dumped her over the phone.

“It wasn’t mutual,” she said. “It was more him saying, ‘I think this relationship has run its course.’ And I was like, ‘OK. Like you gonna be a 50-year-old single man. OK?’”

That doesn’t match up with what Common said during an interview with “Hollywood Unlocked With Jason Lee Uncensored” in late 2021, in which he told Lee the parting was “mutual” and they “came to the understanding that this is what’s gonna be best for us.”

“To still continue to love each other and be there for each other is to not be in a romantic relationship because we won’t be able to give to that,” Common said at the time. “I don’t want to be one foot in, one foot out.”

CNN has reached out to his reps for comment.

Summer movie season is in full swing. Here’s what’s coming through Labor Day

The summer movie season goes into high-gear in July, with the arrival of the seventh “Mission: Impossible” movie followed by the “Oppenheimer” and “Barbie” showdown on July 21.

Moviegoers were only moderately interested in going to the theater to say goodbye to Harrison Ford’s archaeologist character in “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.”

Indiana Jones. Karen Allen always knew he’d come walking back through her door. Since 1981’s “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” Allen’s Marion Ravenwood has been only a sporadic presence in the subsequent sequels.

An international film festival in the Czech spa town of Karlovy Vary has kicked off its 57th edition with an award planned for Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe.

‘Girls Trip 2’ Reuniting Full Cast For Adventure In Ghana

    By Mekishana Pierre‍, ETOnline.com.

It looks like the highly anticipated “Girls Trip” sequel is heading to Ghana!

Writer-director-producer Tracy Oliver, who co-wrote the 2017 hit with filmmaker and producer Will Packer, confirmed the news during an interview with Variety at Sundance.

Joking that Packer “might kill me,” Oliver revealed that the sequel film would follow the stars — including Regina Hall, Queen LatifahJada Pinkett Smith and Tiffany Haddish — in Ghana as they potentially attend the annual Afrochella festival, Ghana’s annual cultural and music event whose name borrows from Coachella.

ET has learned that while the sequel is in development, it is not greenlit and there isn’t a script.

Packer previously confirmed the film’s follow-up with ET last June, saying, “it’s gonna be better than the first one.”

“I can’t tell you where we’re gonna go yet, but we were in New Orleans the first time and we’re not going back to New Orleans,” he shared at the time. “We’re going somewhere bigger and better. When we announce it, you’ll remember I said that to you.”

The producer hinted that the new location might be somewhere in Africa, which isn’t surprising since Packer shot his film “Beast”, starring Idris Elba, in South Africa.

The film’s stars are sure to love the new location, as Queen Latifah told ET that same month that she was hoping the film would “go where it’s warm.”

“I mean, I wanna go to, like, Brazil… or I’m hearing South Africa,” she shared. “I mean, I’m down to go where it’s warm, and where there’s a beach! But with the girls, it doesn’t matter. I know it’s gonna be fun.”

Back in June 2019, Hall told ET that she and the rest of the cast want to ensure that the new film isn’t just a retread.

“I think it’s about the timing and also everyone wants to make sure that the story’s worthy of a sequel,” she said. “We don’t want y’all talking about us ’cause then y’all will be like, ‘Why’d they do a second one? They should have just left it alone.’”

“I know that they are trying really hard to come up with the perfect idea,” Hall also shared.
