The Masked Singer final – who is Conkers?
Conkers heads into the final as the 2/1 outsider in the series seven market. However, given the character’s popularity with the audience, an upset win wouldn’t be out of the question.
The identity market has proved tricky, but TV presenter Ben Shephard has moved into odds-on favourite at 10/11 to be unmasked on Saturday night.
Also featuring in the betting are Tom Daley, Mark Owen, Richard Fleeshman and Sam Thompson.

Moth is the current favourite to take the crown after repeatedly wowing both judges and viewers with her emotional performances.

The Masked Singer final – who is Toastie?
While Keisha looks locked in as Moth, the Toastie market remains more competitive.
It has become a two-horse race between Brenda Edwards and Mica Paris in recent weeks. Brenda has shortened to 8/15 favourite to be under the mask, but 13/8 shot Mica continues to attract support.
Other names still in contention include Judi Love and Sheridan Smith.
But jut like Nadia’s new ‘do, reaction to Davina’s hair from viewers on X was immediate and divided.
Davina McCall divides Masked Singer fans
Taking to the social media platform, one wrote: “@thisisdavina I need to meet your hair stylist NOW!!! Your hair looks amazing. Curls really suit you!”
Others were less impressed, though.
One questioned: “Why has Davina got a mop on her head?”
Another asked: “What is on Davina’s head?”
While Davina was stealing the spotlight, guest judge Katherine Ryan also made a glamorous return.

Katherine Ryan’s comeback
The Canadian comic, 42, returned to the show as the latest guest judge.
Katherine was heavily pregnant with her fourth child when The Masked Singer was filmed.
She showed off her bump in a stretchy brown dress with a dramatic array of pearl necklaces draped around her neck.
Katherine previously competed on the show as Pigeon in 2023 – while also pregnant. And fans were thrilled to have her back.
X was full of praise.
One viewer commenting: “Katherine Ryan was an absolute scream as Pigeon – one of my favourite characters ever, definitely the funniest!”
Someone else added: “Welcome back Katherine Ryan!”
And a third joked: “Every time I see Katherine Ryan she’s pregnant!”
Tonight, the remaining acts – Toastie, Conker, Sloth, Moth and Can of Worms – faced off for a spot in the final.
SPOILER ALERT: Details follow for Season 14, Episode 3 of “The Masked Singer,” “Clueless Night,” which aired Jan. 21 on Fox.
As if! “The Masked Singer” sent home two celebrities on Wednesday during “Clueless night” Whatever. Unmasked on the episode were “Wild Thing” rapper Tone Loc as Handyman, and Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson as Scarab.
Eliminated first was Handyman. Panelist Robin Thicke got it right with Tone Loc. Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg guessed Chuck D, Ken Jeong thought it was Mr. T and Rita Ora went with Ice-T.
Later, Scarab was the second contestant eliminated. Ora got it right with Taraji P. Henson. Thicke thought it was Regina King, McCarthy-Wahlberg went with Angela Bassett and Jeong guessed Cynthia Erivo.
Tone Loc told Variety that he agreed to appear on “The Masked Singer” after his friends dared him to do the show. “They didn’t think that I would,” he said. “Probably because I have this macho type of image or something like that. Like, ‘you would not get up on here, put a costume on and go dance and do whatever at this age.”
But he did, and he’s glad he said yes. “It was fun,” the “Funky Cold Media” star said. “I mean, it was real secretive, like some FBI-type stuff. They cover you up from head to toe and put you in your dressing room immediately… of course, part of my voice is a dead giveaway.”
“Clueless Night” opened with Snow Cone, Scarab, Handyman and Pugcasso singing “Kids In America,” the song that also opens 1996’s “Clueless” film.
Pugcasso, Snow Cone and Crane move on from this round. Still waiting their turn: High Voltage, Calla Lily, Owl, Eggplant, Galaxy Girl, Stingray, Cat Witch, and Queen Corgi, along with another wild card.

New this season is “America’s Insider,” in which singer, dancer and social media personality Kylie Cantrall will share behind-the-scenes hints and clues for viewers. The twist: Cantrall is in costume as Cat Witch, but will only unmask for viewers — so the audience knows who she is, but the panelists don’t.
“The Masked Singer” Season 14 themed episodes include a tribute to “Star Trek,” the ‘90s comedy “Clueless,” the comic franchise “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and the blockbuster “Twilight Saga” films. Also Fox’s new “Fear Factor” reboot will feature host Johnny Knoxville in a “Fear Factor: House of Fear Night,” and an “Ozzfest Night” honors late rocker Ozzy Osbourne, including a special tribute by “Masked Singer” alum Kelly Osbourne (Season 2’s Ladybug) saluting her father’s musical influence.

Snow Cone
Song: “Stronger,” by Britney Spears
Previous song: “When I Grow Up,” by the Pussycat Dolls

Panel guesses: Avril Lavigne, Paris Hilton, Mandy Moore
Previous panel guesses: Mischa Barton, Nicole Richie, Taylor Momsen
Snow Cone voiceover: “If you’re a fan of the iconic ‘Clueless’ soundtrack, you’re guaranteed to love the hottest CD of the summer. Snow Cone. And let me tell you, there’s one album that everybody needs. Mine! (“Snow Real.”) I poured everything I had into it. Even turned down a record deal with David Foster. But when I released it, nobody bought it. For years, I was devastated. But when I was at my lowest point, everyone rallied behind me. Fans started buying my music again. And this once again album became No. 1. (“Only $19.84”) So, hurry up and get your copy. Operators are standing by.”
Nick Cannon and Scarab, “The Masked Singer”
Scarab
Song: “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” by Cyndi Lauper
Previous song: “Set Fire to the Rain,” by Adele
Clueless clue: Cookie dough. “I love baking under pressure to get where I am.”
Panel guesses: Cynthia Erivo, Angela Bassett
Previous panel guesses: Whoopi Goldberg, Viola Davis, Sheryl Lee Ralph
Scarab voiceover: “In ‘Clueless,’ Cher’s dad was always there for her. And I know the support of a parent means everything. My dad saw it first. He told me I was going to be a huge star, and that I might be nominated for an Oscar. My mom was a little more hesitant. A single mother who didn’t want me to struggle like she did. That all changed when she saw me on stage. And all of dad’s predictions came true. Even that nomination. (“Most Influential.”) But when it came time for Hollywood’s biggest night, my dad wasn’t there. Sadly, he passed away a week prior. It was hard to smile in those photos that night. But mom and I made the most of it. He would have loved it. I am equal parts my mom and dad. Smart like my mom, strong like my dad. And one hell of a dreamer.”
Handyman, “The Masked Singer”
Handyman
Song: “Can I Kick It?,” by A Tribe Called Quest
Previous song: “Shake Your Groove Thing,” by Peaches & Herb
Clueless clue: Candy wrappers. “I always have had a sweet flow.”
Panel guesses: Vanilla Ice, Ice-T, Mr. T
Previous panel guesses: Idris Elba, Tone Loc, Vin Diesel
Handyman voiceover: “Clueless was one of a kind. The music, outfits, everything made it stand out in the 90s. And to tell you the truth, I’ve been known to stand out too. But, it wasn’t all perfect. And without warning, a painful accident. Changed my voice overnight. But, I didn’t let that hold me back. And you know what? My voice got people’s attention. And suddenly you could hear me everywhere. The radio, movies, even kids shows. The very thing I thought was too different turned out to be the thing that made me stand out.”
Nick Cannon and Pugcasso, “The Masked Singer”
Pugcasso
Song: “Fake Plastic Trees,” by Radiohead
Previous song: “Ordinary,” by Alex Warren
Clueless clue: Aloha shirt. “I like the beach, and I like cameras.”
Panel guesses: Jack Johnson, Rob Thomas
Previous panel guesses: Dan Reynolds, Darren Criss, Ryan Tedder
Pugcasso voiceover: “Coming from a small town, I thought I knew everybody. And then I saw her. Instantly my heart went boom. A few weeks later, I saw her again. Life was trying to tell me something, so I took my shot. And that was it. It was like a real life romcom. Cue the montage, guys. We were so in love. Until, I was asked to hit the road, and worse, to live a world away from my girl. Fast forward to when I got to the airport and there she was, with a suitcase in hand. And ever since then, when fame feels superficial, she keeps me grounded..”
Crane, “The Masked Singer”
Wild Card: Crane
Song: “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay,” by Whitney Houston
Clueless clue: Ballet shoes. “I’m not the one to shy away from center stage.”
Panel guesses: Misty Copeland, Mya, Ashanti
Crane voiceover: “It’s seamless for me to make my Masked Singer debut on Clueless night. Because the 90s literally represent everything that I did. And I do it all. Whether it’s primetime, film or billions of streams. I’ve brushed wings with Janet, Michelle and even Angelina’s a fan. But, I’ve had to work ten times harder just to be seen. And at times, yeah, my confidence has been shattered. So I’ve spent many transformative moments taking control over my destiny. I’m proud to say it’s my own wings that got me to climb this high. But I’m not done yet. And any chance I get to go for gold, I take it.”

The Masked Singer fans are more convinced than ever that they’ve worked out the identity of Moth.
Moth performed Olivia Rodrigo’s Vampire last night (Saturday, January 17), and fans think it’s a girlband legend under the mask.

Who is Moth on The Masked Singer?
In their first episode, Moth performed Hero by Mariah Carey.
Moth has also dropped some hints about their identity. One thing the star said is “It’s time for me to face the music”.
Moth also said that they “served in the west until my time was up and I returned to my rightful field”, a possible hint at the West End.
Maya Jama believes that it’s Alexandra Burke under the mask, thanks to the West End hint. She also performed Hero as part of The X-Factor cast’s charity single in 2008.
Meanwhile, Davina McCall reckons it’s Molly Ringwald, who appeared in a show called Face The Music.

Fans believe they’ve worked out Moth’s identity
However, fans are convinced that Moth is, in fact, Sugababes legend Keisha Buchanan.
The singer, 41, shot to fame in the early 2000s as part of the Sugababes. She left the group in 2009, before they reunited in 2011.
“Moth is Keisha Buchanan from Sugababes,” one fan said.
“Definitely Keisha Buchanan,” another wrote.
“I think Moth is Keisha from Sugababes,” a third wrote.
“Still convinced Moth is Keisha from Sugababes,” another said.
The Masked Singer‘s Gargoyle has finally been unmasked – and fans were shocked to see who it was!
The mysterious Gargoyle ended up in the sing-off against fellow contestant Sloth tonight but failed to impress the judges and was sent home.
The audience and panel were left gasping as an 80s icon stepped out from beneath the mask.

It turns out Marcella Detroit from Shakespeares Sister was hiding under that towering costume all along.
Speaking to host Joel Domett, Marcella said of her time on the show: “It was hot. And it was very difficult to walk!”
Here’s a full rundown of tonight’s masked madness and all the details on this week’s guest judge.
The Masked Singer: Tonight’s Spooktacular Line-Up
Tonight’s episode was a full-blown Spooktacular Special – not exactly seasonal, but definitely entertaining.
Judges Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Maya Jama and Jonathan Ross embraced the spooky theme with gusto.
Host Joel stole some of the limelight himself, dressing as a spot-on Wednesday Addams.
Jonathan got creative as a futuristic Frankenstein, while Maya dazzled in a sheer black dress with dramatic shoulder straps and Davina spun a creepy spiderweb look.
Guest judge, This Morning, Ben Shephard was almost unrecognisable, perfectly nailing the brief as a chilling scarecrow.
It’s safe to say the hair, make-up and costume teams were working overtime.
This week saw the return of Can of Worms, Sloth and Gargoyle.
Red Panda also made his debut, after originally being cut from Week 1 for performing “Disco Inferno,” a song considered sensitive following the tragic ski resort fire in Crans-Montana.
Gargoyle Revealed: Marcella Detroit Steps Out
After audience votes, Gargoyle landed in the bottom two alongside Sloth.
Both performed again, but the judges chose to save Sloth, sending Gargoyle packing.

Marcella was revealed after chants of “take it off, take it off,” leaving the judges visibly stunned.
Joel admitted he was a huge fan, while Jonathan asked Marcella to close the show with Shakespeares Sister’s iconic hit “Stay,” which she did with no complaints.
Fans flocked to X, formerly Twitter, with reactions ranging from surprise to admiration.
One wrote, “Omg I would never have guessed Marcella Detroit!”
Another celebrated, “YES I CALLED IT!!!”
While a third commented, “Marcella Detroit is 73! My god she looks good!”
Not everyone was impressed though, with one viewer harshly adding, “Maybe this Marcella lady could sing at one point, but she definitely can’t now.”
Other Celebrities Unmasked This Series
Marcella joins five other celebrities unmasked this year.
First to go was Disc Jockey, revealed as The One Show’s Alex Jones. Rapper Professor Green came next as Teabag.
Last week, Yak was unmasked as John Lydon, aka Johnny Rotten of The Sex Pistols.
The show has also seen Anne-Marie perform as Goldfish from the band No Trout and comedian Matt Lucas appear as Emperor Penguin from the Antarctic Funkeys.
Are you sad to see Gargoyle leave the competition?
Masked Singer star John Lydon has revealed he suffered agonising injuries while taking part in the show.
John, who is also known to fans as Johnny Rotten, has admitted he was left in pain “for a long time” after starring as Yak.
The punk musician says he hurt himself a a result of wearing the character’s giant metal-framed costume.
John has described the huge purple and orange Yak outfit as “so heavy”, adding that it was “crushing”.

His comments come after John was unmasked as Yak during Saturday night’s episode of The Masked Singer.
The Masked Singer’s John Lydon opens up about injuries
John spoke candidly about his Masked Singer experience during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning.
As the punk icon chatted to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, he revealed he “put out” both his shoulder and his back.
But while he admitted to the damage it did, John appeared to take it all in good humour.
John explained: “It was so difficult, that costume. The weight of it.
“It felt like a steel frame but was aluminium. I practiced with that and the handlebars for the head, but once the material went on, it became so heavy.
“It put my shoulder out. And I had backaches for a long time. You’re standing there for 25 minutes with all that weight crushing you.
“You also can’t see nothing in there!”
John also revealed producers offered him several character choices before filming began. However, he admitted he said no to them all.
“They gave me options,” he said, laughing. “I said no to all of them.”
How Yak became his final look remains unclear. But John made no secret of how tough it was to perform inside the outfit.
“The weight of the damn thing!” he added. “You can hear me huffing and puffing to Let’s Get Physical.
“I had to try and find a different voice in there. But you cannot sing in an outfit like that.
“It is so hot and heavy. I put my shoulder out, put my back out. But it was worth every penny!”

How much was John Lydon paid?
John mused several times about his Masked Singer fee during his This Morning interview.
However, he stopped short of revealing the exact figure.
What he did share was what the money is now being used for. According to John, the pay cheque is funding a special trip with his Sex Pistols bandmates.
He revealed: “The money has now paid for us to go and record in Portugal and have a little holiday afterwards!”
Despite dealing with shoulder and back trouble, John spoke warmly about his time on the show.
He described the experience as fun and insisted he has no regrets.
“I’m up for a laugh,” he said. “Whole families can watch, it’s great fun!”
John found himself in the bottom two on Saturday night alongside Monkey Business. Viewers have since been busy trying to guess the identity of the female singer, who performs dressed as a monkey in a striped business suit.
The Masked Singer returns to ITV this Saturday January 17, 2026 at 7pm.
The latest celebrity was unmasked tonight in a shocking reveal on The Masker Singer.
Last week we saw four stars leave the competition in an epic two-episode launch weekend. First we said goodbye to Anne Marie as Goldfish, then Alex Jones as Disc Jockey before we discovered Matt Lucas was behind Arctic Penguin and Professor Green as Teabag.
So, tonight, we said goodbye to Yak as they were unmasked in the latest episode of The Masked Singer as John Lydon.

John Lydon revealed to be The Masked Singer’s Yak in latest episode
John Lydon was revealed to be the Yak in The Masked Singer’s reveal tonight.
It came after Monkey Business and Yak went head to head after not getting enough votes to stay in the competition. Monkey Business sung Kesha’s TiK ToK and Yak followed with That’s A Moray straight after.
Earlier on, Davina admitted her guess on the identity behind Yak was on the err of far-fetched.
She said: “I’m gonna give you my ridiculous guess.”
“Assume I follow the herd, but this is not my style, so it’s somebody who is a bit different. Ham and pineapple pizza. I was like, oooh, that’s a Hawaiian. Then I heard, I go with the flow. I’m thinking water. I’m thinking Aquaman. I’m thinking, Oh, my God, it’s Jason Momoa!” she exclaimed.
Guest judge Freddie Flintoff actually correctly guessed that John Lydon – or Johnny Rotten – was the singer behind the mask. Jonathan Ross agreed and decided to vote the same.
Fans also felt like they were on the ball with their guesses.
One wrote: “John Lydon singing “Physical” by Olivia Newton-John whilst dressed as a Yak, I couldn’t love this crazy show more if I tried!”
A second penned: “Knew it was John Lydon as soon as I remembered his song in the Irish Eurovision show was called “Hawaii”.”

Fans convinced they’ve ‘cracked’ the code
As the competition gets into the full swing of things, The Masked Singer fans are convinced they have cracked the ‘code’ in finding out who is behind each costume.
While the show is only in its second week, fans are already hoping to beat the guessing game. Some viewers admit they become too impatient when it comes to finding out all the clues to work out who is behind the Masked Singer character.
The ‘hack’ includes using AI (Artificial Intelligence) to see if it can piece all the clues together. It was discussed on Reddit, with one user admitting they already used ChatGPT to see who it came up with for Red Panda. However, considering it’ll be a while before Red Panda is unmasked – or even performs due to a last-minute schedule change – we’ll have to find out if AI was right!
But not all viewers like the idea of spoiling the premise of the show.
“I imagine the AI would get it right occasionally, but it’d take the fun out of the whole concept, so… I’m not really going to be trying it,” one person commented.
Joel Dommett’s suit divided fans (Credit: ITV)
Joel Dommett’s suit stole attention tonight
The latest episode opened with a full Sports Day theme, with Freddie Flintoff joining the judging panel as a guest for the night. The former cricket star turned TV presenter took his seat alongside Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Maya Jama and Jonathan Ross.
One viewer wrote: “I’m sorry but what in the name of Jackets is Joel wearing?” Another echoed the confusion, saying: “What the hell has Joel got on? It does make me wonder what he’s going to wear next.”
A third questioned the overall styling, asking: “What on Earth are the panel wearing tonight?”
That said, not everyone was unimpressed. One fan confessed they “really want” Joel’s suit for their own wardrobe, while another praised his commitment to the theme, writing: “Gotta give it to Joel for going in all with the sports theme. Only he could pull off a suit that looks like grass.”
What did you make of The Masked Singer reveal tonight?
Joel Dommett’s suit appears to have divided fans in the third instalment of The Masked Singer’s seventh season.
While the presenter deserves a gold medal for his wardrobe matching tonight’s theme, he may gone a bit too far.
It comes after four celebrities were unmasked during the launch last weekend. Singer Anne Marie revealed she was behind Goldfish and The One Show’s Alex Jones turned out to be Disc Jockey. Whereas Little Britain actor Matt Lucas was unveiled to be Arctic Penguin and rapper Professor Green was the star behind Teabag.
Monkey Business, Yak, Toastie, Arctic Fox and Conkers stepped up to the stage to fight for their place in the contest. But it was Joel Dommett’s grass suit that had The Masked Singer fans talking.

The Masked Singer host Joel Dommett’s suit divides fans
This week’s show kicked off with a Sports Day-themed episode with Freddie Flintoff joining the judging panel.
The cricket legend turned TV star appeared as a guest judge for the Sports Day special, alongside Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Maya Jama and Jonathan Ross.
However, fans were upset by host Joel Dommett’s outfit – it appears they weren’t feeling his sports-themed suit.
One fan wrote: “I’m sorry but what in the name of Jackets is Joel wearing?”
A second agreed: “What the hell has Joel got on? It does make me wonder what he’s going to wear next.”
A third penned: “What on Earth are the panel wearing tonight?”
But another was feeling Joel’s fashion choice tonight, and declared they ‘really want’ his suit for their wardrobe.
While a fourth wrote: “Gotta give it to Joel for going in all with the sports theme. Only he could pull off a suit that looks like grass.”

Fans ‘figured out’ Yak’s identity ahead of the show
Speaking on X (Twitter), they discussed clues they know so far. In particular, ‘Yak of all trades’, ‘Leave your tech behind’ and ‘From dusk till dawn’. According to web sleuths, it could mean the celebrity works in more than one industry, reconnecting with nature or something with ‘no phones’.
According to viewers, this could all be pointing to Reece Shearsmith, Inside No 9 and The League of Gentleman star. The fact that Yak’s deep voice sounds like a potential The League of Gentlemen characters Reece plays.
Writing on X one opined: “Yak definitely gave Reece Shearsmith’s character Papa Lazarou vibes.”
A second agreed adding: “Yak is giving Reece Shearsmith vibes, sounded like some of the crazy voices he’s done in League of Gentleman etc.”
The characters still in the competition ahead of Saturday’s show:
The Masked Singer 2026 is officially back, and Series 7 kicked off in headline-grabbing style tonight (January 3) with Goldfish being revealed as none other than pop star Anne-Marie.
The ITV favourite is shaking things up this year, introducing bands to the competition for the very first time. Saturday night saw Goldfish take to the stage alongside No Trout, while Sunday’s episode (January 4) will spotlight Emperor Penguin and the Antarctic Funkeys.

Goldfish on The Masked Singer
Goldfish had the honour of opening the new series, launching into a performance of Rosé and Bruno Mars’ hit APT.
Clues quickly started to stack up. When host Joel Dommett drew attention to one of No Trout’s band members wearing black belts, judge Maya Jama was straight in with her guess, pointing out that Anne-Marie famously holds a black belt in Karate.
As the judges locked in their final thoughts, Mo Gilligan went with Liberty X star Michelle Heaton. Davina McCall suggested Paloma Faith, while Jonathan Ross threw Ray Winstone into the mix.
Maya, however, stuck to her guns and named Anne-Marie, a call that proved spot on when Goldfish was unmasked.
And it wasn’t just the panel who were confident. Plenty of viewers watching at home were already convinced they knew exactly who was behind the costume.

‘I knew it was Anne–Marie’
“Anne-Marie was possibly the most obvious unmasking ever. I knew Goldfish was Anne-Marie,” one user wrote on X.
“Turns out it was that obvious! Anne-Marie is Goldfish!” another person shared.
“I knew it was Anne–Marie, she was so easy to guess. First one of the season, I know she’s not a contestant,” a third remarked.
“That was the easiest guess ever,” a fourth said.
Following the initial clues released earlier this week, many fans had already predicted Anne-Marie well before the series even began.
After her reveal, Anne-Marie treated the audience to a performance of her hit 2002, before taking a seat on the panel for the remainder of the episode.
It’s finally time for the big reveal. With only two contestants left in the game show, we’re sooooo close to finding out who the Masked Singerseason 11 winner is.
The Masked Singer is based on South Korea’s King of the Mask Singer, which follows a similar format. Since the premiere of The King of the Mask Singer in 2015, The Masked Singer has expanded to dozens of countries across the world including France, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Brazil. “It was flypaper TV right from the get-go,” The Masked Singer executive producer Craig Plestis told The Hollywood Reporter in 2019 about why he wanted to produce the show in the United States. “I just knew right away this was a special show. It was unbelievable in its appeal — and the game play, spectacle, family-viewing…[and] it was this huge hit in Asia…. If we do the job here, it should work here.”
The Masked Singer premiered in 2019 with host Nick Cannon and judges Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Nicole Scherzinger. Scherzinger was the first judge to leave following Season 10 and was replaced in Season 11 by singer Rita Ora, who was also a judge on The Masked Singer UK for five seasons.
So we’ll get right to it, who is The Masked Singer season 11 winner? Read more to find out.
Who is The Masked Singer Season 11 winner?
The Masked Singer season 11 winner hasn’t been revealed yet. Who could it be? Goldfish or Gumball?
Many people on The Masked Singersub-Reddit and on X have predicted that Goldfish might be the winner for this season because she’s been the star of all the promotions. “Goldfish is being advertised a lot similar to queen of hearts and harp was before their season started. I’m 99% sure she wins it all and who is under the mask, one Redditor said. Another said, “Take a look at the remaining 9 celebrities none of them have the current relevance as her.”
But we’ll only know who the actual winner is when the finale airs.
Who is Goldfish on The Masked Singer season 11?
Our best guess for Goldfish on The Masked Singer Season 11 is Vanessa Hudgens, an actress and singer best known for movies like the High School Musical franchise. Goldfish sang “vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo, who Hudgens shares a role with. They both played Gabriella in High School Musical and the Disney+ spinoff High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
In her clues, Goldfish also revealed how acting and music affected her relationships. “Sometimes the most transformative moments are actually breakups. I always thought I would be married young, like my mom, but dating in Hollywood is hard, and this Goldfish wasn’t always lucky.” Hudgens was in two different high-profile relationships with her High School Musical co-star Zac Efron and fellow actor Austin Butler.
Other clues include a vampire bat, and holding up a snowglobe that may allude to her dual role in The Princess Switch. “When you’re young and suddenly a role model, there’s a lot of expectations,” Goldfish lamented of her overnight fame.
Who is Gumball in The Masked Singer Season 11?
Scott Porter, an actor best known for shows like Friday Night Lights and Heart of Dixie, is our best guess for Gumball on The Masked Singer Season 11. As for why, he’s dropped some very obvious hints about his career. Visual clues included angel wings and a halo, the moon, the globe as a bowling ball, and a prom king sash.
“I’ve always felt like I was pretending to be something else. My family moved around a lot as a kid, and as the perpetual new guy, I would do anything to make friends. Even when I started performing on stage, I always felt out of place. I have no formal training, no education.”
Porter confirmed in an interview with Theater Mania in 2010 that he never studied theater before his career as an actor. “My high school in Florida didn’t have the budget for drama classes. See, that’s what happens when states cut arts budgets,” he said. “I’ve been fortunate my entire career to work with outstanding performers, and I’m actually the type of person who learns more from watching than from being told. Plus, I grew up in a very musical family; my dad plays drums and my mom was a singer.”
The Masked Singer was hit with another double elimination tonight (February 10) as Air Fryer and Eiffel Tower were voted out before the final.
For the first unmasking, Air Fryer was revealed to be The Greatest Showman star Keala Settle. The British singer has also starred in many musicals including Sister Act, & Juliet, and Waitress.
For the second unmasking of the evening, iconic ’80s singer Tiffany was unveiled as Eiffel Tower. The chart-topping star rose to fame after her debut single I Think We’re Alone Know became a global smash.

Masked Singer: Air Fryer revealed
While making it to the semi-finals, the panel failed to guess Air Fryer’s identity. For their final guesses, they went with the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Ella Henderson, Whoopi Goldberg, and Rebel Wilson.
When Air Fryer revealed themselves as Keala, the panel was left stunned.
“Not even close,” Davina McCall admitted while the audience laughed.
She added: “You’ve done such a good job disguising your voice.”
While referencing her costume, Jonathan Ross asked if Keala owned an air fryer at home, to which she responded: “I do have an air fryer and I absolutely love it!”
Talking about her time on the show, Keala said it was a “massive learning experience” and a “game changer.”
“I’m pleased and privileged to be able to do it.”

Eiffel Tower revealed
Like Air Fryer, Eiffel Tower was a killer vocalist with pipes. For the panel’s final guesses, they said Lindsay Lohan, Lisa Stansfield, Debbie Gibson, Vanessa Paradis, and Tracey Chapman.
Even though he mentioned her name earlier in the episode, Jonathan Ross was kicking himself for sticking with Debbie Gibson.
“I was so close,” he said. “That is mega!” a stunned Davina added. “I should have got it” Jonathan added.
“Tiffany, you have the most incredible voice! It’s so cool that you’re on the show,” an excited Rita Ora stated.
“It’s been a pleasure to be here,” Tiffany told the panel, adding, “I have had a blast, it’s been so great.”
While performing her hit I Think We’re Alone Now to close the show, the American star received a standing ovation.
Next Saturday (February 17), the final three, Cricket, Piranha, and Big Foot, will perform for the last time and one of them will be crowned a winner.
Fans of The Masked Singer were right to think that Lorraine Kelly was Owl as the ITV star was unmasked during tonight’s (January 27) episode.
The show saw the Scottish presenter unveiled during series five’s fifth episode. Owl landed themselves in the bottom two alongside Eiffel Tower, whom the panel chose to save.
For the panel’s final guesses, they went with the likes of Jo Whiley, Gabby Logan, Emily Atack, Emily Blunt, and Alex Scott.

Masked Singer: Owl revealed
Despite guessing wrong, Davina McCall was enthusiastic when Owl’s head was taken off, shouting, “YES LORRAINE!”
Lorraine called out Mo Gilligan after he said he would only wear his pants if it wasn’t Alex Scott.
Taking off his shoes and jacket, the comedian pretended to strip while the audience shouted, “Take it off.”
When asked by host Joel Dommett if she had enjoyed her time on the show, Lorraine expressed that she “loved being Owl.”
She added: “I’ve loved every single second, the show is so joyful.”
Lorraine explained that she had never sung in front of an audience before taking part in the show, stating that it was “amazing to do that.”
Did you guess?? Yep – I was OWL on The Masked Singer – what fun ! Thanks to all the team for such a happy time – loved it so much ❤️ pic.twitter.com/9ci83JoPpG
“Did you guess?? Yep – I was OWL on The Masked Singer – what fun !” Lorraine wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, after her unmasking. “Thanks to all the team for such a happy time – loved it so much.”
Since the beginning of the competition, fans were confident Lorraine was singing underneath the costume.
“I CALLED IT!! I said week one it was Lorraine Kelly,” one user wrote.
“Knew it was you from the start. Brilliant,” another person shared.
“Knew from week one. Your voice was obvious when singing,” a third user remarked.
“Yes, I guessed from the first performance,” a fourth shared.
Despite competition on the same series, Lorraine will serve as a guest judge during one of the upcoming episodes.
Masked Singer guest judge Jennifer Saunders was left stunned tonight (January 20) after she failed to guess her Ab Fab co-star Julia Sawalha as Bubble Tea.
During series five’s fourth episode, the show saw the British actor unveiled as Bubble Tea. She landed herself in the bottom two alongside Owl, who the panel chose to save.
For their final guesses, the panel went with the likes of Maisie Smith, Fearne Cotton, Gaby Roslin, and Miriam Margolyes.

Masked Singer: Bubble Tea revealed
With four completely different guesses from the panel, they were shocked to find that none of them were correct. Even more so, Jennifer was gobsmacked as she wasn’t able to identify Julia after portraying her mother for years in the iconic show Ab Fab.
“No way!” she shouted, to which Julia shouted back, “Mummy!”
“Darling! What are you doing?” Jennifer responded. “You’ve got yourself in a mess,” she added as a joke.
After finding out that Jennifer was a guest judge this weekend, Julia was confident that Jennifer would figure out her identity. Failing to guess, Jennifer was close after name-dropping Jane Horrocks earlier in the episode.
Complimenting her figure, Jennifer continued to joke around, telling Julia, “Darling, you’ve got fabulous legs, we never see these.”
“I’ve never seen them before. I didn’t even know you had legs, sweetheart.”

Julia said it was ‘beautiful’ to see Jennifer again
The 55-year-old star revealed she took part in the competition after a friend insisted she doesn’t sing enough. When she was offered to be on the show, she told herself, “I really need to do something I’m absolutely afraid of.”
Joel asked Julia: “How is it to see your mother again?”
“It is beautiful” she responded, adding, “It’s, you know, really special.”
After singing one last time, Jennifer joined Julia on stage to give her a kiss and a hug.
Fans react to Bubble Tea’s unmasking
Even though the panel didn’t guess correctly, it seems viewers also didn’t have an inkling that Julia was Bubble Tea.
“Never have guessed Julia Sawalha being bubble tea,” one user wrote.
“Julia Sawalha. Would never have got that. Fair play,” another person shared.
“No way!! Love Julia Sawalha and didn’t even come close! I love that Jennifer Saunders had no clue either,” a third remarked.
The Masked Singer UK is back – and we’re *already* pulling our hair out over who could be behind the masks!
The ITV show returned for its brand new series last week – and is back on screens for another 60 minutes of wackiness on Saturday (January 6).
As usual, for the new series, 12 celebs are taking to the stage to show off their vocal chops. And in a bid to not get recognised, the famous faces will be dressed in the craziest of get-ups. Desperate to suss them out, the celeb panelists Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall, Rita Ora and Jonathan Ross, are then tasked to find out who is behind the costume .
So far we’ve had the likes of Big Foot, Maypole, Dippy Egg, Rat and Cricket step up the mic.
And now, fans reckon the latest line-up includes the likes of an Emmerdale hunk, a chart-topping pop star and even a a celeb who has *previously* been on the show…
Maypole got the crowd on their feet when they performed last week on The Masked Singer. During their debut last week, she belted out a rendition of P!nk’s Never Gonna Dance Again.
Clues included potential links to Eurovision, a possibly fake American accent and wanting to break free. There was also a mention of her being a doll, as well as her being born in “the year of Orwell”.
And over on a Reddit forum, fans are certain the character is in fact Melody Thornton, a pop star best known for being in The Pussycat Dolls. Melody has even won the Australian version of The Masked Singer in 2022.
Melody has previously won the Aus version of the show (Credit: ITV)
The eagle-eyed fan penned: “I am a massive fan of TMS and I am sure I know who Maypole is!!! MAYPOLE IS MELODY THORNTON!!
“Clues that relate: Year of Orwell – She was born in 1984. She was a member of The Pussycat Dolls. Silver medal – she was Mirrorball on Masked Singer AU- a completely silver costume TV Screens. She has done ITV shows before such as Dancing On Ice. South West – She played Cinderella in New Wimbledon Theatre- Which Is In South West London Ball – She was MirrorBALL Also the voice matches!”
Fans have been left scratching their head (Credit: ITV)
Big Foot
The lovable hairball stepped on stage last weekend to perform Moana’s track You’re Welcome. Bigfoot also dropped a series of clues about their mystery true identity.
Clues included mentions of nature, camping and the woods. Another clue also referenced Top Gear and a sitcom called Episodes.
The show followed a British husband-and-wife who travel to Hollywood to write a comedy TV show. Stars of the show included Friends’ Matt LeBlanc and Stephen Mangan.
Fans think a Friends star could be behind the mask (Credit: BBC)
Now, fans reckon it’ll be none other than Friends legend Matt LeBlanc. On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “Big Foot – Matt Le Blanc.” Someone else added: “Is Big Foot, Matt LeBlanc?”
Meanwhile, a third quipped: “BIGFOOT Is In Top Gear Tonight @MaskedSingerUK Matt LeBlanc friends.”
Dippy Egg is a firm favourite (Credit: ITV)
Masked Singer: Dippy Egg
Dippy Egg has become a firm favourite on the show so far. For their first performance, they belted out Daydream Believer by The Monkees. Now, fans reckon the person behind the mask is Emmerdale legend Kelvin Fletcher, who played Andy Sugden.
As for why they think this, one of their clues was that the mystery person “works with animals”. This could be a nod to his life, and new TV show, about moving to a farm.
Kelvin could be behind Dippy Egg (Credit: ITV)
The former Emmerdale actor swapped Manchester for the countryside back in 2021 and moved himself and his family to a 120-acre family farm in the Peak District.
On X, one person said: “Kelvin Fletcher is dippy egg.” Someone else agreed and penned: “Dippy egg is Kelvin Fletcher!”
Rat’s performance got people on their feet (Credit: ITV)
Rat
When Rat performed they sang along to the Vengaboys classic Boom Boom Boom! And one of the biggest clues was the detection of a Liverpudlian accent.
As for the other clues, there were references to DIY and cleaning, from their tool kit to the “out of service” laundrette sign.
Fans think it could be Claire Sweeney (Credit: ITV)
When thinking about presenters who have fronted home renovation series, guest judge Charlie Simpson claimed it could be Claire Sweeney. Fans will recall Claire hosted the interior design show 60 Minute Makeover for a decade between 2004 and 2014.
Viewers also think the same as Charlie. On X, one person said: “Rat no idea, having a guess at Claire Sweeney because of the early morning reference (Big Breakfast).” Someone else said: “Claire Sweeney – 60 minute makeover.”
Fans reckon they know who Cricket is (Credit: ITV)
Cricket
Wacky character Cricket performed Place Your Hands by Reef on The Masked Singer stage. Before their performance though, Cricket spoke about being a “big hitter”.
They also noted how their scores “aren’t just about cricket”.
With these hints, fans reckon the real identity is Simon Webbe from Blue. “Cricket is Simon Webbe off Blue surely?!” while another added: “Cricket = Simon Webbe.”
The Blue singer could be behind the mask (Credit: BBC)
A third chimed in and mused: “Scores are not just about cricket’ is that Strictly scores? Cricket sounds like Simon Webbe!” As fans will know, Simon appeared on the Strictly Christmas special back in 2011.
The Masked Singer UK airs Saturday (January 6) from 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
The former “Dukes Of Hazzard” star John Schneider, who has long been one of the only openly conservative Christian stars in Hollywood, called for President Joe Biden to be executed in a social media post that was put up in the early hours of Thursday morning.
John Schneider to Biden on Twitter: Mr. President, I Believe You Are Guilty of Treason And Should be Publicly Hung. Your Response? pic.twitter.com/Zc7cTa7jrE
Hours after being revealed as the Donut and getting second place on “The Masked Singer,” Schneider, 63, took to social media to blast Biden in a post that has since been deleted.
“Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hung. Your son too. Your response is..? Sincerely, John Schneider,” the actor wrote, according to Yahoo News.
Schneider wrote this in response to a post Biden had written about the former President Donald Trump.
“Trump poses many threats to our country: The right to choose, civil rights, voting rights, and America’s standing in the world,” Biden wrote. “But the greatest threat he poses is to our democracy. If we lose that, we lose everything.”
Schneider Denies Calling For Biden’s Execution
When contacted for comment by The New York Post, Schneider denied calling for Biden’s execution.
“Seriously, folks? This is my final comment on this. I neither said nor implied any such thing,” Schneider said.
“Despite headlines claiming otherwise, in my post, I absolutely did not call for an act of violence or threaten a U.S. president as many other celebrities have done in the past,” he added. “I suggest you re-read my actual post and pay attention to the words before believing this nonsense.”
The Secret Service is now investigating Dukes of Hazard star John Schneider for calling Joe Biden a traitor.
But when Kathy Griffin held a fake decapitated head that resembled Rightful President Trump,
Daily Mail reported that liberals have responded by calling on the Secret Service and federal government to take action against Schneider.
“John Schneider deleted his tweet saying President Biden should be hanged. But the internet is forever and wouldn’t it be a shame if ‘Bo Duke’ receives a visit from some federal agents,” one social media user commented, with another adding, “s John Schneider going to get the same treatment that Kathy Griffin received from the Secret Service? She posed for a picture, and he made an actual threat against the president and his son.”
This was a reference to the comedian Kathy Griffin, who has long claimed that she was investigated by the Secret Service after posing with the simulated severed head of Donald Trump for a photoshoot back in 2017. She alleges that she was placed under federal investigation, put on a no-fly list, and “interrogated under oath” after this, although there has never been any tangible proof released to the public to back up these claims.
Schneider has long been one of the only openly conservative stars in Hollywood. Back in 2018, he said that it was time for “for Hollywood stars to come out of the Republican closet.”
“I do think there’s a bias against conservatives, Republicans, in Hollywood, but I think if you let that alter how you are, then I question how you are,” he said at the time.
Schneider doubled down on this in 2021, expressing his belief that he’s been blacklisted by Hollywood for his conservative views.
“You don’t really lose a role. You’re just not looked at,” he explained to Fox Business. “You’re not considered for something”
Schneider Finishes Runner-Up On ‘The Masked Singer’
Hours before his post about Biden, Schneider was overjoyed to finish as runner-up to the R&B singer NE-YO on “The Masked Singer,” explaining that competing on the show has helped him deal with his grief over losing his wife Alicia Allain to breast cancer earlier this year.
“It really helped me get through the worst year of my life,” Schneider told People Magazine afterwards. “So I’m delighted to have done it. I’m honored to have done it. I’m so impressed with the way they do this show. I’ve sung on stage a lot. I’ve done Broadway and concerts.”
“I mean, for crying out loud, I’ve done it for 40 years but I’ve never, never experienced a group of people who do what they do with such excellence,” he continued. “From beginning to end, it was the greatest experience I’ve had doing music on television.”
While calling for the execution of a sitting president isn’t something that we would support, celebrities have gotten away with saying far worse things about Trump over the years. After the difficult year that Schneider has had, we can only hope that people cut him some slack on this one and allow him to continue his grieving process in peace.

The former “Dukes Of Hazzard” star John Schneider finished in second place to the R&B singer NE-YO on the season finale of “The Masked Singer” on Wednesday night. Afterwards, Schneider praised the show for helping him through the “worst year” of his life after he lost his wife Alicia Allain to breast cancer back in February when she was only 53 years-old.
Schneider Loved His Time On ‘The Masked Singer’
“What an amazing opportunity to be able to honor Alicia, to be able to honor people who are grieving, maybe educate people who are grieving a little bit, in front of millions of people,” Schneider, 63, told People Magazine. “I’m a pretty strong guy but I’m also a very emotional guy.”
“Being out there on that stage dressed like a donut, singing some of the greatest songs ever written and having people respond to the songs and the performance with no notion that it was me, really, really helped John Schneider.” he continued. “It really helped me get through the worst year of my life. So I’m delighted to have done it.”
Allain Wanted Schneider To Compete On ‘The Masked Singer’
Schneider went on to explain that Allain had always wanted him to compete on “The Masked Singer.”
“She would always say, ‘You’ve got to do The Masked Singer,’” he recalled. “I fully expected one day for Alicia to be there to help … so when that opportunity came, I just had to kind of look toward heaven and kind of laugh because, of course, she still runs things but further away.”
Schneider is happy that him being open about his grief while competing on “The Masked Singer” helped others who are currently in a similar situation.
“It was a great opportunity to be able to to entertain, yes, and to have fun, yes, but also to grieve and let people know that it’s okay,” he explained. “Grieving is something you’ve got to do. And I liked that the the Donut grieving actually is helping people who are on the same road. It’s not a job I ever wanted. It’s nothing I ever really wanted to understand. But it is the hand that I’ve been dealt. And I’m doing to make the very best of it, in honor of my beautiful wife.”
‘Masked Singer’ Was ‘Greatest Experience’ For Schneider
In the end, Schneider has no regrets about his time on “The Masked Singer,” and he appears to see the show as a highlight of his decades-long career.
“It really helped me get through the worst year of my life,” Schneider said. “So I’m delighted to have done it. I’m honored to have done it. I’m so impressed with the way they do this show. I’ve sung on stage a lot. I’ve done Broadway and concerts.”
“I mean, for crying out loud, I’ve done it for 40 years but I’ve never, never experienced a group of people who do what they do with such excellence,” he concluded. “From beginning to end, it was the greatest experience I’ve had doing music on television.”
Schneider has been open about just how difficult it has been for him to lose the love of his life earlier this year. We’re so glad that he was able to have such a good time on “The Masked Singer,” and please join us in saying a prayer for him as he prepares to celebrate his first Christmas without his beloved wife!

SPOILER ALERT: Do not read ahead if you have not watched the two-hour Season 10 Finale of “The Masked Singer,” which aired Dec. 20 on Fox.
Because of you, Ne-Yo just had the time of his life on Fox’s “The Masked Singer.” The artist won the Season 10 finale of the hit series on Wednesday night, becoming the last celebrity to be unmasked this season. Ne-Yo won by performing “Rhythm Nation,” by Janet Jackson; “Take a Bow,” by Rihanna, before being revealed as Cow.
“Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider was the season’s runner-up, having performed as Donut. In third place was “Pretty Little Liars” star (and one-time Moanalua High student) Janel Parrish, revealed to be Gazelle. And in fourth, also unmasked on Wednesday night, was Grammy winner Macy Gray, as Sea Queen.
“I’ve been very blessed to have a lot of success in my career. And trust me, I’m grateful. But even though I’ve won Grammys, I’ve never had the moment televised,” Ne-Yo/Cow said in his pre-taped “The Masked Singer” package. “Never gotten to give my acceptance speech. And most importantly, have never gotten the chance to give credit to the person who made it all possible: My mother. I’ve helped so many other artists achieve their dreams and make their big moments possible. But sometimes I feel like I haven’t truly had my moment. To be recognized not only as an artist, but as a creator. But here, I’ve certainly felt that shine… I’m hoping that when I win the Golden Masked Trophy, I can finally read that acceptance speech after all of these years.”
Schneider elicited plenty of emotion from the show’s panelists — particularly Ken Jeong — for talking openly about the death of his wife earlier this year, and how “The Masked Singer” has been a part of his healing process.
“This has been a really good experience, being here, because most people don’t know that I love to sing,” Schneider-as-Donut said. “My wife would say, ‘I don’t understand. You have done 18, 19 albums. Have five No. 1 songs. Ten or 15 top ten songs. There was a lot of stuff, but nobody knows that you sing. So, a couple of years ago she said, ‘Hey baby, we’re going to get you on The Masked Singer. So, people can finally see what you can do.’ This is really a dream come true for me, because I can honor her through doing it. Every performance has been a love letter to her. And I know she’s been on that stage with me, every step of the way.”
Among the panelists, Ne-Yo as Cow was figured out by Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger. Ken Jeong said it was Usher, while Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg went with Billy Porter.
For Donut, McCarthy Wahlberg figured out it was John Schneider. Scherzinger thought it was Engelbert Humperdinck, while Thicke named Tom Jones, with Jeong agreeing.
With Gazelle, no one guessed Parrish. Thicke and McCarthy Wahlberg named Ashley Tisdale. Jeong thought it was Constance Wu. Scherzinger picked Gina Rodriguez.
As for Sea Queen, it was a bit too obvious perhaps – which is why all four panelists collectively agreed. Scherzinger got this one right first in naming Macy Gray, and Thicke, McCarthy Wahlberg and Jeong all went with the ditto.
The singer voted off first with the evening’s least number of votes was Macy Gray as Sea Queen. Janel Parrish was the next to go as Gazelle, leaving John Schneider as Donut and Ne-Yo as Cow to each sing one more song to determine the winner.
Ne-Yo as Cow, John Schneider as Donut, Macy Gray as Sea Queen and Janel Parrish as Gazelle join John Oates as Anteater, Keysia Cole as Candelabra, Sebastian Bach as Tiki, Ginuwine as Husky, Ashley Parker Angel as S’more, Metta World Peace as Cuddle Monster, Luann de Lesseps as Hibiscus, Tyler Posey as Hawk, Billie Jean King as Royal Hen, Michael Rapaport as Pickle, Tom Sandoval as Diver, Anthony Anderson as Rubber Ducky and one-time special guest Demi Lovato as Anonymouse, as the Season 10 unmasked celebrities so far.
“The Masked Singer” finale opened with the four final contestants singing “What I Like About You,” by the Romantics.
“The Masked Singer” featured a new format this season, with three groups followed by Battle Royale semi-final episodes. The season also includes the return of Wild Card contestants, with one Wild Card introduced to each group, and the “Ding Dong Keep It On Bell” was back in the Battle Royale semi-final episodes, where the judges chose Gazelle from elimination.
With sixteen total celebrity singers, Season 10 featured new costumes including “Donut,” “Anteater,” “Hawk,” “Hibiscus,” “Diver,” “Gazelle,” “Royal Hen,” “Husky,” “Tiki,” “Pickle,” “Rubber Ducky,” “Candelabra,” “Cow,” “Sea Queen,” “Anonymouse” and a life-size “S’More.” Also returning to mark the show’s 10th were celebrities who have been previously unmasked since the show began. According to the show, Season 10 contestants “boast a combined 40 medals, 33 Grammy nominations, seven hall of fame awards, three lifetime achievement awards and over 50 tattoos.”
The season’s themed episodes included a tribute to Elton John; a “Trolls Night” tied to the November release of DreamWorks Animation’s “Trolls Band Together”; a “Harry Potter Night” airing the week of Halloween; “NFL Night”; “One Hit Wonders”; “Disco”; “2000s Night”; “I Wanna Rock”; and “Soundtrack of My Life.” Back for Season 10 are host Nick Cannon, alongside panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke.
Here were the final performances on this week’s episode:
Cow, “The Masked Singer”) (Michael Becker / Fox)
Pete Dadds
WINNER: Cow (Ne-Yo)
Song: “Rhythm Nation,” by Janet Jackson; “Take a Bow,” by Rihanna
Clue: “I was a fan of this show before I got here. I always wanted to do the show. And so, this is already a dream come true. I’m having a ball.”
Package voiceover: “I originally chose to become the Cow because I thought it would be a super fun way to get my friends on the panel off my scent. But, even though I’m used to wearing different hats, being here has challenged me in a whole new way. I’ve had to re-learn how to express myself entirely. From the way I move to the way I dance. When you get to my level of success and fame, there are certain expectations and pressures to perform the same old way. So, it’s been a blast, getting to take on this whole new persona. The Cow, in a way, has also become a tribute to my mother, who showed me it’s OK to be strong and sensitive. So tonight, I’m channeling that same fierceness into this finale. So I can win this thing. For her and all the strong women who made me who I am today.”
Previous songs: “Bones,” by Imagine Dragons; “Treasure,” by Bruno Mars; “Cry Me A River,” by Justin Timberlake; “Ring My Bell,” by Anita Ward
Song: “You Are So Beautiful,” by Joe Cocker; “Drift Away,” by Dobie Gray
Panel guesses: Engelbert Humperdink, Tom Jones, John Schneider
Clue: “It was actually my beautiful wife who first said she wanted me to be on this show. So being able to check this off of her bucket list has given me great joy.”
Package voiceover: “I came into this competition at the lowest point in my life. But I tell you, as soon as I saw that Donut mask, his smile made me happy in a way I had not felt in a long time. I knew right then and there that become the donut is what I needed to heal from my wife’s passing. I know that she’s getting a big kick out of me in this donut costume. Because every Saturday morning, I would make the coffee and my wife would go out and get donuts – an apple fritter especially for me. In fact, her nickname for me was ‘Fritter.’ I still miss her than I can possibly say. But putting this costume on every night has helped me remember all the beautiful memories we had together. And tonight, under this mask, I’m finally smiling again, just like she always was.”
Previous songs: “Hooked on a Feeling,” by Blue Suede; “I Do (Cherish You),” by 98 Degrees; “Georgia on My Mind” by Ray Charles
Previous clue: Hair and seasoning. “I’m well-seasoned, and I have been enjoyed by several generations.”
Previous panel guesses: Sylvester Stallone, Jeff Bridges, Tom Jones, Stanley Tucci, Liam Neeson, Engelbert Humperdinck, John Schneider
Gazelle, “The Masked Singer” (Michael Becker / Fox)
Pete Dadds
Clue: “Being the Gazelle has helped me find my voice and my confidence in singing again. Now, I don’t want to ever stop.”
Package voiceover: “I would be surprised if anyone in ‘Masked Singer’ history was more suited to their costume than I am to the Gazelle. I’ve mentioned in the past that deer are meaningful to me because of the loved one that I lost. What I haven’t say is that I actually have a deer tattoo for that person, with flowers growing out of the antlers. So, when I saw the sketch that looked so much like my tattoo, I broke down shaking and sobbing. It just felt like fate. Now, having gotten to be in the Gazelle mask for a while, I can definitely say that she feels like this alter ego of me that I have been craving. When I put her on, all of my insecurities and fears are gone. I was given a second chance to keep this mask on, and I’m not going to waste it. Becoming the Gazelle has really allowed me to tap into my inner goddess. The power that she has given me is a feeling I’ll never forget.”
Previous song: “Uninvited,” by Alanis Morrisette; “The One That Got Away,” by Katy Perry; “Lucky,” by Britney Spears; “On the Radio,” by Donna Summer
Clue: “It’s been amazing. I’ve been learning so much. It’s so challenging, I feel like I’m a better entertainer now because of this show.”
Package voiceover: “Becoming the Sea Queen has been a real experience. I love my regal, commanding presence, but I’m gonna be honest with you. Wearing this costume hasn’t been all smooth sailing. I’m a seasoned performer but used to being myself on stage. Having to learn new songs and choreography all while wearing a giant mask has really stretched me as an entertainer. It is hot in there. It is so claustrophobic. And this while experience has made me feel nervous again in a way I haven’t in a long time. But I fought my way through it, and I’m still here. As the first Wild Card to make it to the finale in Masked Singer history, yes, I am looking forward to taking this mask off. But only after I win the crown for this Sea Queen.
Previous songs: “Love Potion No. 9,” by The Searchers; “To Be With You,” by Mr. Big
“The Masked Singer” is produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment, with James Breen (who is also showrunner), Craig Plestis and Cannon as executive producers.
SPOILER ALERT: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 10, Episode 12 of “The Masked Singer,” “Soundtrack to My Life,” which aired Dec. 13 on Fox.
Oh, oh, here he comes. Watch out boy, he’ll chew you up! Oh, oh, here he comes. John Oates is an Anteater.
Say it isn’t so. John Oates, one half of the most successful rock duo of all time — Daryl Hall & John Oates — was revealed on Wednesday as the Anteater on “The Masked Singer.” Later, Keyshia Cole was also unmasked as the Candelabra.
The Oates appearance comes at quite a coincidental moment: He and Hall have been in the news recently after a falling out (and Hall’s lawsuit) over Oates’ plan to sell his share of their joint venture.
“I can’t really talk about it,” Oates told Variety last week. “I don’t really want to talk about it. It’s not why I’m here. I want to focus on the music and [‘The Masked Singer’]. Things will work itself out and time will tell.”
OK, we get it, he can’t go for that. So, let’s talk about “The Masked Singer” — dressing Oates up as an “Anteater” was obviously a nod to the famed Hall & Oates song “Maneater.” And yet, that obvious clue completely eluded the show’s panelists.
“They knocked me down and tied my hands behind my back and told me I was going to be the Anteater,” Oates quipped. “To be honest with you, when I saw the rendering of the costume, I didn’t really care for it much. But I kind of just went with the flow. Then I realized Anteater/Maneater. It was interesting that no one else picked up on that on the show. At least they didn’t talk about it.”
For Anteater, no one got it right. Nicole Scherzinger thought it was John Mellencamp, while Robin Thicke named Jackson Browne. Ken Jeong picked Billy Joel. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg guessed Steven Van Zandt.
“I was flattered by the comparisons they were making,” Oates said. “I really liked the fact that they were comparing me to some of my favorite singers. People like Mellencamp and Billy Joel, Bryan Adams, Bob Seger. They seemed to really like my vocal performance.”
Oates said he agreed to do “The Masked Singer” after he realized there was an opportunity to perform without any preconceived Hall & Oates notions from the audience. “Separating me from the image of who I am in Hall & Oates, the 80s, the pop hits, all that kind of stuff. What’s going to happen when I’m just singing?” he said. “What’s the reaction going to be? That intrigued me and I wanted to do it mainly for that reason. And also, I realized that it was a huge platform. It’s such a successful show. I’m doing a lot of charity work and things like that for some great organizations. And I thought, if I can get the word out, I can reach a lot of people.”
Still Oates said he wasn’t anticipating how difficult it would be to perform in that costume. “Singing and doing choreography in that crazy suit was really difficult,” he said. “You have the Men in Black lead you through a dark backstage corridor where you can’t see a thing. And they put you onto the stage and there’s strobe lights and confetti falling and flashing video screens. It’s crazy and the people screaming, the audience’s insane. I’m wearing these giant size 15 work boots that they had to literally strap my feet into. It was it was a challenge for sure.”
As for being voted off the show, Oates admitted he was disappointed — and blamed jet lag for his final performance. “It was a good experience until the very end,” he said. “When I had the very last episode, I was booked to do a one-off show at the Newport Folk Festival. I did a set and then rushed to the airport got on the redeye. I went to LA, had to get up early in the morning to go straight to the television studio to do Masked Singer. And so, I was really tired.”
As for Candelabra, Nicole Scherzinger got this one right in naming Keyshia Cole, and Robin Thicke named Cole as well. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg said it was Brandy and Ken Jeong went with Kelly Rowland.
“They let me choose, as much as they could, the songs that I was going to sing,” Bach said. “Which made me happy because I got to do Elton John, “Magic” by Pilot and Lady Gaga. There was a couple other songs that I wanted to sing, but we couldn’t clear them in time. ‘The Final Countdown’ by Europe. I was going to slay you all with that one. I was asking to do some Journey and Led Zeppelin but those were pretty hard to clear.”
The singer with the evening’s least number of votes was Oates as Anteater. The remaining two contestants facing off in a battle royale (no longer a “smackdown”!) to determine who would move on to the finals, were Donut and Candelabra. The two contestants sang their own take on Hunter Hayes’ “Wanted.” (Hayes, who previously appeared on “The Masked Singer” as Astronaut, was also on hand to sing his song.)
Cole as Candelabra was voted out after that, which means Group C champ Donut will face off with Group B winner Sea Queen, Group A champion Cow and Group A “Ding Dong Keep It On” recipient Gazelle in next week’s finals.
John Oates as Anteater and Keysia Cole as Candelabra join Sebastian Bach as Tiki, Ginuwine as Husky, Ashley Parker Angel as S’more, Metta World Peace as Cuddle Monster, Luann de Lesseps as Hibiscus, Tyler Posey as Hawk, Billie Jean King as Royal Hen, Michael Rapaport as Pickle, Tom Sandoval as Diver, Anthony Anderson as Rubber Ducky and one-time special guest Demi Lovato as Anonymouse, as the Season 10 unmasked celebrities so far.
“The Masked Singer” features a new format this season, with three groups followed by Battle Royale semi-final episodes. The season also includes the return of Wild Card contestants, with one Wild Card introduced to each group, and the “Ding Dong Keep It On Bell” is back in the Battle Royale semi-final episodes, where the judges can choose to save one contestant from elimination and move them directly to the finale.
With sixteen total celebrity singers, Season 10 features new costumes including “Donut,” “Anteater,” “Hawk,” “Hibiscus,” “Diver,” “Gazelle,” “Royal Hen,” “Husky,” “Tiki,” “Pickle,” “Rubber Ducky,” “Candelabra,” “Cow,” “Sea Queen,” “Anonymouse” and a life-size “S’More.” Also returning to mark the show’s 10th are celebrities who have been previously unmasked since the show began.

Song: ‘I’m Going Down,’ by Mary J. Blige
Panel guesses: Tamar Braxton,Keyshia Cole, Rozonda “Chili” Thomas, Dawn Richard
Mix tape clue: “Party Jams.” “Nicole, I never forget the fun we had partying at an industry party.”
Package voiceover: “Continuing to set the stage ablaze in this competition feels amazing. And I’m pumped to have made it to the Group C finale. Tonight, I’m going to be singing ‘I’m Going Down,’ by Mary J. Blige. It’s a song about heartbreak, which I’ve definitely experienced. I was in a relationship for a long time with someone that I deeply loved. We had a child and built a life together. But he proved to me over and over again that I couldn’t trust him. I tried to stay for our child but ultimately staying wasn’t good for any of us. And I chose to walk away. I learned that in that moment that I had to love myself first. And since then, that’s what I‘ve been doing. So tonight, I’m sharing my whole heart on that stage. And hopefully that’s enough to get me to the finals.”
Previous songs: “1 Thing,” by Amerie; “All My Life,” by K-CI & Jojo
Previous clue: “Real tea.” “I want you to know that on and off the camera, I’m keeping 100% real.”
Previous panel guesses: Regina Hall, Brandy, Anika Noni Rose, Tamar Braxton, Monica, Fantasia, Keyshia Cole, Ashanti, Kelly Rowland

Anteater
Song: “Johnny B. Goode,” by Chuck Berry
Panel guesses: Paul Stanley, Jackson Browne, Steven Van Zandt
Mixtape clue: “Deep Thoughts.” “I had the greatest conversation when I was talking to Jenny.”
Package voiceover: “Don’t underestimate a short king. Cuddle Monster might have a few inches on me but like David and Goliath, this Anteater came out on top. Tonight, I’m singing ‘Johnny B. Goode’ because I grew up listening to Chuck Berry on the radio and I collected all of his 45 RPM records. When my mom signed me up for guitar lessons at 5 years old, this is one of the first songs I learned to play on my right-handed guitar. And it’s not easy when you’re a lefty. Even after decades of creating my own unique sound and becoming an inspiration to others, I’m still influenced by those early musical pioneers. Now I can’t wait to get on stage and show that real rock n roll never dies. Hopefully it will get me to the finale.”
Previous songs: “Walking in Memphis,: by Mark Cohn; “I Want It That Way,” by Backstreet Boys
Previous clue: “Hall of fame.” “I think the Trolls might know something about the hall of fame.”
Previous panel guesses: Rick Springfield, John Mellencamp, Bryan Adams, Bob Seger, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Paul Simon
Donut, “The Masked Singer” (Michael Becker / Fox)

Donut
Song: “Georgia on My Mind” by Ray Charles
Panel guesses: Tom Jones, John Schneider, Engelbert Humperdink
Mixtape clue: “Poker Night.” “Robin, this mix tape was on repeat every time I hung out with your dear, sweet dad.”
Package voiceover: “Singing my heart out on stage last time felt so fulfilling. I know my wife is watching every step of my journey and she would be so thrilled that I made it to the Group C finals. I’m singing ‘Georgia on My Mind’ by Ray Charles. This is a song I really relate to, because it’s about being far away from the one you love. When I was a young man, I had the opportunity to sing this song as a duet with Ray on a television special. Performing with Ray was magical Remember, he was not a big guy. But when he opened his mouth to sing, he could knock you over with his power. Watching videos of our performance now, I realize I was way out of my league. So tonight, I’m hoping to make Ray proud.”
Previous songs: “Hooked on a Feeling,” by Blue Suede; “I Do (Cherish You),” by 98 Degrees
Previous clue: Hair and seasoning. “I’m well-seasoned, and I have been enjoyed by several generations.”
Previous panel guesses: Sylvester Stallone, Jeff Bridges, Tom Jones, Stanley Tucci, Liam Neeson, Engelbert Humperdinck
