Tony Evers’ third budget again presses on rejected proposals like legalizing marijuana, expanding Medicaid – Medical Marijuana Program Connection

In 2019 and 2021, Gov. Tony Evers submitted two-year budget proposals that significantly increased state spending and included a host of items on the Democratic wish list that Republicans who control the Legislature scrapped nearly wholesale.

After winning reelection last year, Evers was back Wednesday with another sweeping budget proposal. This time he’s again pressing the gas on requests Republicans have rejected in past budgets, some of which featured in his reelection campaign. Those include legalizing marijuana, raising the state’s minimum wage, expanding Medicaid, spending millions to address homelessness and extending background checks for firearm sales.

Legislative Republicans are all but certain to reject those proposals again. Assembly Speaker Vos, R-Rochester, told WisconsinEye in January that he expects the GOP-led Legislature to handle Evers’ newest proposal as they have the past two cycles — by stripping the budget down to its base and starting over.

“A lot of sea-changers, tree-changers – those people are strategic hires, key personnel businesses want to attract,” said Mr Farley, Colliers International’s national director of occupier services, who brokered the lease with colleague Mikayla Toy.

“If Wesfarmers are to attract those people and get them into the office space or to work with a team one or two days a week, you can get [people from] Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo, Torquay. It’s far easier … in the city for those to come in and catch up than to come in and then go to Camberwell.”

“The [new] office footprint supports our growth ambition to become a leading provider of health, beauty and wellness services for Australians. Our team members are excited and energised by the CBD location and modern office environment which will help create a contemporary culture anchored in connection and collaboration.”

Full Spectrum Distillate vs Broad Spectrum CBD  – Sonoma Sun – Medical Marijuana Program Connection

Posted on February 14, 2023 by Allen Brown

    Introduction to research

Full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD products are becoming more popular as more people learn about the benefits of cannabinoids. While there are many different ways to consume CBD, full-spectrum and broad-spectrum products provide a superior experience, with a level of potency that’s often unmatched by other forms of CBD.

The term “full spectrum” refers to the presence of most cannabinoids in a product, including some traces of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). In contrast to full spectrum products, broad spectrum CBD products contain most cannabinoids but not THC.

CBD’s potential as an effective treatment for various conditions has been studied extensively over the past few years. (1). Researchers have conducted hundreds of studies on CBD, including case studies and clinical trials, which have shown promising results (2). There is evidence suggesting that CBD may also help treat other medical conditions such as chronic pain (3), anxiety (4), depression (5), sleep disorders (6), epilepsy (7), and autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis (8).

    The CBD Extraction process

The extraction process involves chemical means of extracting the oil from the plant. It involves using solvents such as butane, hexane, and ethanol to extract the CBD. When using ethanol, there are chances of having acetone left behind in the end product, which can be toxic if ingested.
