US President Donald Trump, addressing the UN General Debate on Tuesday, was initially forced to do so without a teleprompter, which he said was not working.
At the beginning of his speech, he said he would deliver it “without a teleprompter, because the teleprompter is not working.”
“I feel very happy to be up here with you,” the US president added, saying without a teleprompter “you speak more from the heart”.

"I can only say that whoever's operating this teleprompter is in big trouble," he added.
Trump's speech at the General Debate marks his return to the UN General Assembly in New York, after he last addressed the body in 2019 during his first term in office.
