This painted ceramic bowl has the charm of a chopped watermelon on display, with that sturdy melon green exterior and a juicy red interior speckled with black watermelon seeds. But we think the edges of the bowl is what makes this especially charming: the edges are cut into jagged, triangular edges, giving this watermelon bowl the visual effect of having sliced into a watermelon yourself.

Unfortunately, it seems this bowl is not sold on Marshalls website, so you’ll have to hunt for it in your local retailer. However, Kohl’s is selling a similar option for $21.59.

Walmart takes their motto “Save Money. Live Better” very seriously, especially when it comes to their grocery aisles. The popular discount retailer announced on April 30 that it launched a new line of “chef-inspired” grocery items called bettergoods, now Walmart’s largest private food brand in 20 years.

“It’s a commitment to our customers that they can enjoy unique culinary flavors at the incredible value Walmart delivers,” says Scott Morris, Walmart’s senior vice president of private brands, food and consumables, in a recent press release.

We can say that affordable is certainly accurate as we take a look at the prices within this line. The 300 Bettergoods items range between $2 and $15, a majority of which are priced under $5. These items are located in many of Walmart’s aisles including the frozen, dairy, snacks, beverages, pasta, soups, chocolate, and coffee sections.

Walmart set out to achieve three different goals by launching this line. The first is to elevate the shopper’s culinary experience, with elevated ingredients and “food-trend forward offerings” that match consumers’ current cravings. Second, Walmart is looking to provide affordable plant-based options for shoppers, from nondairy frozen desserts to plant-based shredded cheese and more, all in a signature green branding and packaging. Lastly, their “Made Without” items focus on health and dietary preferences, with options free of artificial flavors, added sugar, colorings, gluten, and other ingredients you choose to avoid when shopping for groceries.

Approachable and affordable are the key drivers here for Walmart and the bettergoods brand, providing products from suppliers across the globe that are “high-quality, trend-forward ingredients and flavors” that will delight shoppers. And, of course, ultimately help them to save a little bit more money in their wallets.

This exciting announcement is followed closely at the heels of two major changes happening across Walmart branches: the elimination of self-checkout lines and changes to shipping policies through third-party sellers.

Do you love the look of having fresh flowers in your kitchen, but don’t want to make the effort of having to constantly keep them watered or switch them out with a fresh bouquet every few days? While the smell of fresh flowers is certainly a treat, if you prefer something that lasts a little bit longer (and requires little to zero maintenance), then you’re going to love the latest Trader Joe’s home decor find now back at stores: wooden reed flowers.

These flowers are exactly as they sound; they’re gorgeous bouquets made from thin, finely trimmed pieces of wood. You’ll find different flower variations to choose from, including carnations, peonies, roses, poppies, and more. The flowers are attached to thin wooden stems that can be trimmed to perfectly fit the vase of your choosing. Each small bouquet is sold at $4.99 plus tax.

Along with these wooden reed flowers, Trader Joe’s is selling dry accent focal for $3.99, as well as dried cinnamon and lavender if you’re looking to make a unique dried bouquet. All of these are sold under $5, which isn’t much at all — especially when you factor in how much you’ll be saving on flowers by buying a bouquet that will last forever. “I still have mine from last year,” writes @traderjoesobsessed after posting about the triumphant return of this TJ’s home decor find.

While shoppers say these flowers are “so pretty” and make for the “perfect Mother’s Day” gift, other TJ’s regulars say that these flowers can be a pain to dust. However, if you delicately dust your dry bouquet with a feather duster or small dust blower, this should make it easy to keep these flowers dusted and looking good as new for months (and maybe even years) to come.

Lunch can feel like a burden sometimes — or at least it does for me. When the afternoon arrives and I’m busy getting work done, the last thing I want to do is think about what I should make for lunch. When I was working full-time in an office my lunchtime woes were even worse; if I didn’t have something prepared to take with me, I would end up buying a $20 salad at the local chain around the corner and be thoroughly disappointed by how not great it was. So of course, when I find a good lunchtime find that doesn’t require any prep (and is affordable!), I’m eager to learn more. And it seems Aldi’s latest lunch find is solving that problem.

Fillo’s Walking Tamales come in three delicious flavors: Bean Salsa Verde, Bean Salsa Roja, and Bean Salsa Habanero. They are shelf-stable, vegan, gluten-free, and are ready to eat immediately. While you could make your tamale warm in the microwave, there is no heating necessary to eat it. These tamales are sold at $1.99 each, so if you’re looking for an easy shelf-stable lunch that doesn’t require you to stand over a hot stove or turn on that oven this summer, we have a feeling you’re going to want to stock up on a couple (or many) of these prepared tamales.

Not only are these Walking Tamales great for a quick and convenient lunch — both for you and the kids — but Aldi regulars also say these work well for all of your summer adventures. Going backpacking this summer, or maybe just need snacks for a long hike? Plan on spending your days at the beach and don’t feel like having to prepare a lunch before you go? These Walking Tamales are perfect for having something shelf-stable and delicious to eat when you need something on-the-go.

Plus, Aldi shoppers are raving about this lunchtime find. “I’m obsessed with these. I’m going back tomorrow and buying more,” writes one shopper on the @aldiallthetime post about this lunch find. “I am soooo excited for lunch tomorrow,” writes another.

We think it’s time to stock up on these Walking Tamales to save you from those lunchtime woes.

We love a candle that’s on theme, especially if it has all of the lovely scents of our favorite cocktails. Now, thanks to the brilliant team over at Target, you can now grab a candle that will flawlessly match your favorite summer drinks for just $10 each.

Opalhouse just released a new line of candles at Target in cheeky, colorful designs that are perfect for the summer months ahead. There are six different candle scents to choose from. Tiki Coconut with hints of coconut rum and teakwood, pineapple slushy with coconut and cotton candy, tropical sorbet offering scents of apricot and ginger, fizzy cherry sporting scents of apple and strawberry, melon glow with raspberry and jasmine, and lastly, palm springs oasis with floral and ocean scents.

The candles are 15 ounces, but they come in two sizes: either a wide ceramic container with a gold lid and two wicks, or a tall canister that almost looks like that tallboy canned cocktail you love to sip on when the weather gets warmer. What’s especially playful about these candles is the packaged design. Each candle features a bright color and pattern to match the scent of each candle, brightening up your table with a pop of color.

If you plan on making a Target run to buy these candles, then you might as well also stock up on all the other fun summer things they have on shelves right now. These $5 ombre color pitchers and matching cups are perfect for serving those drinks, especially if you plan on serving a themed cocktail to go with your candle! For something classy, we’re loving these fluted glass parfait cups for cocktails — and desserts, of course. And of course, how could you ever say no to these adorable corn holders in the shape of animals?

  • I Tried Victoria Beckham’s “Favorite” Brownies and They’re So Easy, I’ll Be Baking Them Every Week

I Tried Victoria Beckham’s “Favorite” Brownies and They’re So Easy, I’ll Be Baking Them Every Week

    [ad_1]

We independently select these products—if you buy from one of our links, we may earn a commission. All prices were accurate at the time of publishing.

Out of all the celebrities out there to have brownie recipes, I’ll be completely honest with you: I never would have expected someone like Victoria Beckham to have one. So when I came across her brownie recipe, which is apparently her “favorite brownies to make,” I honestly was curious. People reports that these brownies are “not too fudgy and definitely foolproof,” which sounds like my kind of easy recipe. But would it be good? Would this brownie recipe truly “spice up my life?” (Wink, wink.) I put it to the test to find out.

Get the recipe: Victoria Beckham’s Easy Brownies

How to Make Victoria Beckham’s Brownies

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Beat together the sugar, cocoa powder, and melted butter. Crack in the eggs and mix in the vanilla extract, beating until smooth. Sprinkle in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat until the batter is combined.

Grease a 13×9-inch pan with butter, then spread the batter with a rubber spatula into the pan. Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the brownies cool for about an hour before slicing and serving.

You know it’s a very good sign these brownies are going to be great if you find yourself licking the spoon, and evidently the rest of the bowl, after scraping the brownie dough into your pan. I was transfixed by how delicious this brownie batter tasted despite being so simple to throw together, and honestly felt excited to bake these brownies and see what they tasted like once I had the finished baked good.

I can happily report that People’s description of these brownies was actually correct. They aren’t too fudgy, yet they are incredibly easy to make. I’m a fan of a cakey brownie versus a super fudgy brownie (probably because I’m more of a cake person than a frosting person), so this dessert was perfect. My only critique is that I feel it needs a touch more salt to accent all of that cocoa powder in the batter, and maybe some added chocolate chips to get some gooey chocolate to level out the texture of the dessert. However, these things are very small and easily adjustable, so I feel I will be making this recipe again soon.

When the weather gets warmer and the days get longer, the last thing I want to do is spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Sure, I do love cooking delicious foods for a summer barbecue, but on the average weeknight, I don’t feel like turning on the oven and sweating more than I already am. Instead, I like to find quick and easy meals to throw together so I can get back to enjoying the lovely weather, and these Aldi taco kits are just the thing I need to stock up on to appease my lazy summer-girl heart.

Instead of having to assemble all of the ingredients yourself, Aldi makes it easy with these street taco kits, a complete meal all in one box for just $9.99. There are two boxes available to choose from. The Chipotle Shrimp Street Tacos includes wild-caught Argentine shrimp, creamy ancho chili sauce, chipotle seasoning, and a medley of spinach, corn, and roasted tomato. The Pork Carnitas Street Tacos have pork carnitas (obviously), cilantro pesto sauce, and a medley of peppers and onions. These meal kits serve four (the kit includes 8 tacos) and can be prepared in 20 minutes, making them the perfect weeknight dinner if you need something quick and tasty for the fam.

The best part? These taco kits are found in the freezer section, making them the perfect dinner staple to stock up on when you need something light and easy to throw together for dinner — which, in my honest opinion, is exactly what I’m looking for during the summer when I don’t feel like flicking on the oven during those sweltering months. With these taco kits, all you have to do is prep them on the stove and you have dinner on the table in less than a half hour. It honestly feels like a steal.

If you can’t find these taco kits at your local Aldi, then you could always attempt to prep and freeze your own taco kits at home. Make a large batch of these Instant Pot pork carnitas with the fixings, or these sheet pan shrimp tacos, then freeze your homemade kits for later.

Nothing is more of a buzzkill than a cold cup of coffee. When you pour yourself a cup and get distracted with other things happening around you, coming back to a lukewarm cup is quite the disappointing experience. But what if your mug had a lid to keep that coffee warm when you have to tend to other tasks? Insert this gorgeous ceramic mug from World Market, with a lid that is quite literally a mushroom cap.

These whimsical mushroom lidded ceramic mugs feature a classic white ribbed ceramic cup with mushroom caps in multiple different colors to choose from: red, yellow, green, brown, pink, and blue. They’re dishwasher- and microwave-safe, so if you did need to microwave your coffee to make it warmer, this mug allows for it. But with an adorable mushroom topper you might not need to worry about it so much; your coffee or tea will stay nice and warm. These mugs hold 10 ounces of liquid and are sold at just $6.29 each, which is a shockingly low price for how adorable these are. With a mug this cute, we think there’s going to be a lot of homemade chai lattes and Mexican spiced hot chocolates in our future. Or keep things very on theme with a hot mug of mushroom coffee.

  • “Alarming” Amount of Pesticides Found in Produce (Including Potatoes and Blueberries), According to New Study

“Alarming” Amount of Pesticides Found in Produce (Including Potatoes and Blueberries), According to New Study

    [ad_1]

Shopping at the grocery store can be overwhelming enough given all of the options we have, especially when it comes to buying produce. Is it healthier to buy organic rather than conventionally grown produce? And if so, if you can’t afford organic produce, does that mean you’re actually eating unhealthy food, even though you’re buying a fruit or vegetable? These questions can feel challenging, especially when reports are constantly being released with data about pesticide residue on the food we eat, such as the recent data published by Consumer Reports.

After analyzing 59 different common conventionally grown fruits and vegetables, the report stated that 20% of these foods “posed significant risks” due to pesticides present. To find this data, Consumer Reports analyzed USDA test results of over 29,000 individual food samples and concluded that 12 foods were presented with “bigger concerns” based on their level of pesticides. The team of scientists at Consumer Reports set these particular standards and feel the legal limits the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) sets for pesticides in food is “far too high.”

This isn’t the first time an organization outside of the USDA has made a claim that pesticide levels are too high in food. The Environmental Working Group released The Dirty Dozen 2024 list where they point out 12 different fruits and vegetables contaminated with pesticides. The group’s goals is to educate consumers about farming practices for their food.

Both of these organizations have concluded that choosing to eat organic is healthier for you in terms of lowering risk. However, this particular claim is far from true. The Alliance for Food and Farming (AFF) points to research in the Journal of Toxicology which found choosing organic produce over conventional did not result in a reduction of consumer risk because residues on conventionally grown produce was so low or not present at all.

Plus, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) pesticide program found that 99% of the foods sampled had residue levels far below the EPA safety standards, and 27% of food didn’t have any detectable residues. Keep in mind, pesticides are used in both organic and conventional produce.

But what about our health? The Consumer Reports analysis mentions how pesticides have been suspected to potentially interfere with the body’s hormone and neurological system, and also cites other research including increased risk of cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. However, a majority of the research is coming from farmers working with pesticides directly rather than through consumption of our foods, which is why pesticide use is heavily regulated by the EPA under the Worker Protection Standard, and any research regarding consumption of pesticide residue is still too minimal to make any sweeping health claims.

Plus, the number of these fruits and vegetables you would have to actually consume to cause any risks is high. For example, according to the AFF, an adult woman would have to consume 453 strawberries in one day (with the highest amount of pesticide residue on them) to cause any health risks based on EPA standards. Blueberries are also high on both lists, yet an adult male would have to consume 18,519 in a single day before experiencing any side effects.

Lastly, washing your produce helps a lot. The Food and Drug Administration suggests washing fruits and vegetables with tap water (no soaps) before consuming them to remove residues on your produce, and to also eliminate traces of anything else that could be on your food like bacteria, and yes, even insects. After all, our produce is grown in the dirt.

Basically, buy the produce you want. Just be sure to give it a rinse before eating!

Does your pantry give you anxiety every time you open it? Trust us, we get it. While we love to look at well organized pantries with sparkling glass jars and baskets of snacks, it’s hard to actually execute. Especially when buying all of those jars and baskets can feel like making a payment on a car when it’s all said and done. Thankfully, Dollar Tree has an easy solution that will keep your pantry organized without breaking the bank thanks to their latest hidden gem.

Now sold at Dollar Tree for $1.25 each, you can buy these classic countertop jars with metal sealed lids, perfect for organizing all kinds of items like flour, sugar, tea, coffee, sugar, nuts, dried fruit, and more. Although the label on these jars says “cookie jar” they can be used for far more than just cookies. (Although we don’t hate the idea of having a fresh batch of chocolate chip and toffee shortbread cookies on hand in one of these jars.)

The jar stands at around 5 inches in height, but it does have a flat side so it can easily sit on either your counter or your pantry shelf, making it easy to twist off the cap and get what you need without having to completely move the jar.

Dollar Tree does sell these jars in stores, but you can also buy a case on their website if you’re looking to do a complete pantry revamp — you can snag 12 jars for $15. Some shoppers are also finding similar jars at Dollar Tree that feature a wooden lid, which seals nicely at the top, although this particular style is not sold on Dollar Tree’s website. You can also use stickers as labels for your jars to really make the organized pantry of your dreams.

  • Gisele Bündchen Reveals the Key Ingredient in Her “Perfect” Salad Dressing [Exclusive]

Gisele Bündchen Reveals the Key Ingredient in Her “Perfect” Salad Dressing [Exclusive]

    [ad_1]

We independently select these products—if you buy from one of our links, we may earn a commission. All prices were accurate at the time of publishing.

Gisele Bündchen is in her cooking era. The Brazilian supermodel and self-described meal planner believes the key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle as a busy mom of two starts in the kitchen. She recently released her cookbook, Nourish: Simple Recipes to Empower Your Body and Feed Your Soul. The inspiration for Nourish — “a collection of family favorites” — came from her mother who instilled in her the importance of meal planning.

“I wanted to create a cookbook that focused on simple, quick, healthy recipes that are packed with flavor,” Gisele tells The Kitchn. “It is also easy to create a weekly meal plan using the recipes and that helps when shopping so no food goes to waste. I came from a big family and meal planning was key to my mom’s success in feeding us nutritious meals. She worked full time — organization was her secret weapon. I learned the benefits of having an organized kitchen from her.”

When it comes to what Gisele puts in her body, it’s no surprise that she sticks to whole foods like vegetables and fruits. But that doesn’t mean she sacrifices taste for health. In fact, the model says she’s “all about creating flavor” when it comes to cooking.

For this edition of Cooking Diary, Gisele walks us through her favorite meals to make, the snack her kids love most, and the foods she stays away from.

Is there a dish you’re famous for with your family?

Everyone loves my Sunday barbeques. I make my favorite traditional Brazilian dishes. We have a Churrasco, which is a mix of meats on the grill, homemade panne e queso, farofa, hearts of palm, avocado, and cucumber salad.

What’s a cooking rule you break?

Definitely measuring. While writing the recipes for my cookbook, I realized how often I just throw in a pinch of this or a pinch of that. For baking, I learned you cannot break the measuring rule.

What’s the best thing you eat or drink for clear skin?

It is not one thing but many things that create clear skin. Hydration is the most important. I drink a lot of water and tea. It is important to not eat processed foods and to have a diet filled with healthy proteins and lots of veggies and fruits.

What does an average day of meals look like for you? What do you cook in a day? What do you snack on?

Each day is different depending on what I have on my schedule. On workout days I need more protein and some days I like a smoothie. I truly eat many of the recipes in my book. I make a meal plan for the week to stay on track and prevent waste. Snacks I love are nuts, fruit, sometimes granola — it depends on the day.

You need to make dinner with three ingredients or less (not including salt, pepper, or oil). What do you cook?

That is impossible. I am all about creating flavor and three ingredients is too limiting. I do have a delicious smoothie that has three ingredients: coconut water, frozen banana, and almond cream. It is so easy and tasty.

Do you have a secret ingredient when it comes to cooking?

Dates are my secret weapon. They are perfect for adding a little sweetness to most dishes. They are also great as a snack or dessert on their own because they’re filled with so many great ingredients like magnesium, calcium, and potassium.

    What’s your go-to salad dressing?

My favorite is a very good olive oil. Right now, I am using this delicious Brazilian one that my sister gave me for Christmas. After the drizzled oil, I use a sprinkle of Celtic salt. It creates the perfect dressing for almost any salad.

What are your favorite snacks to make for your kids?

Right now, my kids are into my version of a healthy Jell-O that we make from scratch with tart cherry unsweetened juice, Gaia Herbs-Elderberry Syrup, and organic gelatin. It is a quick simple recipe, and the kids love it. We are also big granola eaters. I always have it around for them to take on the go. It’s quick to make and the kids love it. The recipes are in Nourish.

Do you still eat 80 percent vegetables and 20 percent animal protein? If not, do you follow any specific diet?

My diet isn’t one size fits all. I am flexible, but I do love vegetables and they are always on my plate. I believe you must listen to your body and eat a variety of foods. I stay away from processed foods and sugar. They do not provide me with energy.

We independently select these products—if you buy from one of our links, we may earn a commission. All prices were accurate at the time of publishing.

Getting sick of making the same boring lunch week after week? Ready to try something new that requires absolutely zero effort on your end? (Besides having to pick it up, of course.) Thankfully Costco understands the frustration, which is why the store is always offering easy grab-and-go options over in the fresh prepared food sections of the warehouse. And we have a feeling you’re going to love the latest fresh deli find Costco just dropped: a Tuscan Chicken Wrap made with the grocer’s iconic rotisserie chicken.

The new Tuscan Chicken Wraps feature all of the fan favorite flavors customers love. Each wrap is stuffed with rotisserie chicken, tricolored bell peppers, red pepper pesto, and black olives, all wrapped in a yellow tortilla then sliced into proper servings. Grab a clamshell package at just $6.99 a pound (priced between $17 and $18 total) and you get four prepared wraps with a sun-dried tomato dipping sauce to pair. These wraps make for a perfect easy lunch if you’re feeding a few people at a time, or even as an easy meal prep item if you need something for lunch (or dinner!) that week but don’t feel like cooking.

Shoppers are particularly excited for these wraps, especially after the success of Costco’s previous deli wrap offerings, like their Asian-inspired or Southwest wraps that one shopper said he “bought every other week” because of how convenient and delicious they are. “Wow, these look delicious,” writes one shopper over on Reddit. “Whelp, I guess I’m going to Costco tomorrow,” jokes another after learning about this new deli find.

Costco has certainly been busy when it comes to its selection of prepared ready-to-go foods coming from the retailer’s deli and evolving sushi counter, which has ready-to-go sushi rolls and bowls that can be made with fresh fish right in front of the customer. Needless to say, if you’re having a hard time deciding what to have for lunch and would rather not put in the effort of preparing something, a trip to Costco would be a good idea!

For Aldi shoppers, Wednesdays are always the most exciting day of the week. Why? Because the popular discount grocery store releases all of its new weekly finds, and we have a feeling you’re going to love one of the latest products from its Crofton line of cookware: beautiful glass fruit bowls.

Aldi has two different fruit bowls for shoppers to choose from. One is clear with a wood base, around 8 inches in diameter and around 6 inches tall. The second is an elegant gray bowl with a ribbed design that is shallow yet slightly wider, measuring at 10 inches in diameter and 5 inches tall. Both of these bowls are hand-wash only, but when you see how delicate they are, you’ll understand why. These bowls are beautiful to look at and should absolutely be handled with care.

The best part? They’re sold at such an affordable price. These Crofton bowls are only $12.99 each, making them the perfect centerpiece for your kitchen table for all of your fruit needs. Or maybe they can serve as some kind of decorative centerpiece with homemade potpourri, like these DIY scented pine cones.

Not only do these fruit bowls work well as a centerpiece full of delicious fresh fruit, but they can also work well as a serving bowl for any of your delicious fruit salads and leafy green salads this summer. You can never go wrong with this berry pineapple fruit salad, or this ultimate summer salad with sweet peaches and juicy cherry tomatoes.

Along with these gorgeous fruit bowls, Aldi released a line of grilling cookware that is going to get you ready for the summer season ahead. There’s a grilling barbecue caddy for $14.99, a BBQ frying and roasting pan for the grill for just $9.99, a grill mat for $9.99, and grilling utensils like tongs, a brush, and a spatula for $3.99 each. There’s even a grilling pizza set for $12.99 in case you want to attempt pizzas on the grill this summer, which we highly recommend!

Sick of having to wait on the checkout line at the grocery store? Aldi understands your pain, which is why, in partnership with Garbango, the store is testing out an entirely new way to pay for your groceries while skipping the checkout line altogether with its new Aldigo technology. Shoppers will be able to simply grab their items, pay at a station, and walk out. No scanning necessary.

“It’s exciting to see a checkout-free capability live in one of our stores,” says Eric Traxler, vice president of IT at Aldi, in a statement. “Aldi is continuously looking for new ways to be innovative and provide a best-in-class experience for our shoppers, and Aldigo is a great example of that in action.”

This particular system relies on computer vision technology and artificial intelligence to keep track of what’s in your cart, so you don’t have to. Shoppers simply download the Garbango app, add items to their carts at the store, then scan the QR code and pay through the app, all while cameras around Aldi stores keep track of what shoppers are grabbing. This way shoppers can avoid lines, making for an even more efficient shopping experience.

Amazon has attempted this type of model before with its AI-powered “Just Walk Out,” but Aldi is the first major grocery retailer to attempt this type of tech. Garbango’s CEO, Will Glaser, says this partnership is a “pivotal moment” for the grocery industry by launching the company’s tech in a store like Aldi, which experiences a lot of foot traffic.

The Aldigo technology has been tested by both companies since 2023, but this is the first time it is appearing in a store for customers to use. Currently Aldi is only testing this technology out in one of their stores, located in Aurora, Illinois, a suburb outside of Chicago. There are no plans for expansion of this tech in other stores at the moment, but if the test is successful, this checkout-less way of shopping could reach an Aldi store near you and completely change the way you shop for groceries as you ditch the line for good.

If you have to maneuver around a small kitchen like me, then you understand how important it is to find clever ways to save space. Appliances can’t sit on the counter given the limited surface you have, and forget having a full spice rack on your counter as well unless you have a space on the wall or a large cabinet door you can work with. You’ll have to find another clever way to store those spices. Thankfully, @beauty_by_serina on Instagram thought of a clever DIY that will give you the spice cabinet of your dreams, without taking up any precious counter real estate in your home. And it’s all done with a few picture frames purchased from Dollar Tree at the low price of $1.25.

That’s right; those clear picture frames on Dollar Tree shelves are just the thing you need to make the spice drawer of your dreams. Clear out that junk drawer and clean it, then buy four plastic picture frames (this DIY uses 5×7-inch frames) with an angled bottom. Place the frames backward in the drawer so the bottoms of each frame touch the angled top to create sections to place your spices. Once they’re in, lay out the spices that you use the most in your drawer, and voilà — a spice rack that doesn’t take up space on your counter and costs you less than $5 to put together.

Dollar Tree is full of all kinds of ingenious storage finds right now, particularly for organizing your kitchen and pantry. These bottle holders are ideal for organizing all of those water bottles you keep collecting. They even stack nicely and make for a great spot for placing those extra wine bottles you have on hand. These clip-on baskets can double the storage space in your fridge, perfect for storing snacks and any other school lunch fixings.

Sure, you could have the average boring salt and pepper shakers on your table … but why would you do that when there are so many better options out there? If you love charming little knickknacks that turn your kitchen into a cozy space, then you’re going to love the most recent World Market find shoppers can’t stop raving about: these croissant and bread shaped salt and pepper shakers.

These salt and pepper shakers are made of ceramic with a hand-painted finish, and the set is sold for $10. One of the shakers is in the shape of a crescent-shaped croissant, while the other is a scored loaf of bread. They are both pretty small in size — around 2 to 3 inches all around — making for the perfect quirky addition to your kitchen table. The croissant shape has three holes (likely intended for salt) and the loaf of bread has two holes (intended for pepper). These shakers are hand-wash only and shouldn’t go in the microwave, but we have a feeling this won’t be a problem.

Shoppers are, of course, loving this adorable World Market find. “They are SO cute,” writes one shopper. “Bagett-about it,” writes another, with lots of excited heart and bread emojis.

Needless to say, a trip to World Market should certainly be in your future, especially if you’re looking to brighten up your kitchen space with adorably charming knickknacks.
