The Philadelphia Eagles celebrated their Monday Night Football win with a Taylor Swift-inspired dig at the Kansas City Chiefs.
The team posted a picture of a green friendship bracelet that read “Eagles win” on Instagram following their 21-17 victory.
“In our winning era,” the caption said, a dig to Chief’s tight end Travis Kelce’s girlfriend‘s Era’s tour.
Kelce’s older brother Jason is a center for the Eagles and the two faced off at last year’s Super Bowl LVII, where the Chiefs defeated the Eagles. The two were captured embracing on the field after the game where Travis joked that the win was a “late birthday present,” for his big brother.
Swift has been on her record-breaking Era tour in the U.S. since March and started her international leg in November arriving in Argentina, where Kelce attended one of her shows in Buenos Aires.
It became a trend for Swifties to don friendship bracelets at the singer-songwriter’s blockbuster world tour following a line in her song “You’re on Your Own, Kid,” off her Midnights album.
Taylor Swift fan Emma Sadeghi, of Glendale, shows her friendship bracelets as she arrives to see Taylor Swift perform her first of six sold-out “Eras Tour” shows in Inglewood on Aug. 3, 2023.
Kelce invited Swift to Arrowhead after he couldn’t give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number when she brought her Eras Tour to the stadium over the summer. The two were seen after the Bears game, and Swift went to New Jersey to watch the Chiefs defeat the New York Jets the following week, fueling speculation that the two stars are dating.

For most Americans, the stadium tour “experience” is already something of a nightmare/competitive sport. And yes, concert-going in general has become more competitive in the last decade. Chalk it up to the worst aspects of capitalism (not to mention “doing it for the social media post”) infecting it to the point of no return. And perhaps the biggest symptom of that is Live Nation Entertainment’s monopoly over ticket sales via Ticketmaster. A glaring spotlight was put on the company’s market control, relentless promotion of would-be elitism and overall inefficacy by none other than Taylor Swift herself when, in 2022, the singer crashed the website due to the overwhelming demand to see a tour so basic and lacking in any political statements (particularly when compared to Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour and Madonna’s The Celebration Tour). But it wasn’t just in the U.S. that “Swiftmania” took hold. Throughout the globe, various Swifties were determined to see their idol in concert. And that’s why Swift kept adding more dates on the map of her TheEras Tour journey (if you express the demand, she will supply). Among the latest round being Rio de Janeiro. A city not always known for being “inviting” or “appealing” to Americans. At least in terms of providing the many “creature comforts” they’ve grown accustomed to back in the “US and A” (to use a Borat parlance). As for Brazilians themselves, the cutthroat, “jank” nature of existence is par for their course. Especially when it comes to the concert-going experience.
And yet, despite all that grit compared to Americans who actually expect to have an assigned seat and access to water whenever they want (whatever the cost!), even Brazilians were having a hard time enduring the conditions of TheEras Tour in Rio de Janeiro. For it was bad enough that the heat index on November 17th—the first night of The Eras Tour in Rio—was a hellacious 138.74 degrees Fahrenheit, but, to compound that issue, T4F (the Brazilian edition of Ticketmaster that ironically stands for “Time 4 Fun”) refused to let concertgoers bring water bottles into the venue, citing “security concerns.” Maybe for the very reason that airlines banned liquids on planes starting in 2006: they were afraid someone might try to turn those liquids into explosives. Rio does have a reputation (no Taylor reference intended), after all. Particularly in the eyes of dainty American residents who see the country as lawless and crime-ridden. And yet, there’s no doubt that certain American Swifties might have traveled to Brazil just for The Eras Tour. Heat and bodily harm risks be damned! And that’s saying a lot for the largely white female demographic that worships Swift enough to make the most dangerous trek of their lives (aside from venturing out of any part of New York that isn’t Times Square). Indeed, the U.S. Department of State currently describes Brazil as follows: “Violent crime, such as murder, armed robbery and carjacking, is common in urban areas, day and night. Gang activity and organized crime is widespread. Assaults, including with sedatives and drugs placed in drinks, are common. U.S. government personnel are discouraged from using municipal buses in all parts of Brazil due to an elevated risk of robbery and assault at any time of day, and especially at night.” Already painting a nightmarish picture without adding to that image the hordes of dehydrated and demoralized crowds waiting all day for Swift to take the stage, what you’ve got on your hands is nothing short of a Boschian tableau.
But those who live in Rio, they should just accept these conditions, right? For the errant American foolish enough to travel to Brazil and actually pay to endure this horror show, well, they can just go right back to the U.S. and cleanse themselves with a more “civilized” concert-going experience next time. Ah, but that’s the self-delusion of American thinking. The whole “it can’t happen here” idea. It applies just as much to shitty concert accommodations as it does to fascism. But, as the U.S. and its so-called “Cadillac of concert-going” options have seen during instances like Altamont, Woodstock 99 (complete with multiple sexual assaults, including a gang rape during Korn’s set) and, most recently, Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival, it happens there all the time.
It was, oddly enough, at Woodstock 99 where the forbidding of water was most intense among the three aforementioned examples of nightmare concert experiences. As Kurt Loder, reporting on the event for MTV News at the time, said, “To get in, you get frisked to make sure you’re not bringing in any water or food that would prevent you from buying from their outrageously priced booths. You wallow around in garbage and human waste. There was a palpable mood of anger.” An anger that can’t be quelled in concert scenarios like these, no matter how much “love” the fans have for the performer. In point of fact, it’s quite easy for the greatest fan love to turn to hate and contempt in conditions such as these, where one looks to cast blame on someone, anyone for the hellscape they had to not only bear witness to, but also escape from.
Some fans, however, would not be so lucky as to make that escape. In the case of the November 19th date of The Eras Tour, one of those fans included twenty-five-year-old Gabriel Mongenot Santana Milhomem Santos, who was stabbed after the show in the small hours of Monday morning on a Copacabana beach (located roughly one hour from the venue). While some would say that’s no fault of Swift’s, it still relates to the lack of safety involved in concert-going in general and in Brazil in particular.
Two days earlier, on November 17th, twenty-three-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado died of cardiac arrest spurred by the intense heat and lack of water. The universe’s sadistic sense of humor seemed to be in full effect in terms of how Benevides passed out during Swift’s performance of “Cruel Summer.” Of all the songs she could have expired to, this was probably the most uncanny and taunting.
The outrage following her death included the demand for free water to be made available to those in attendance at Swift’s shows, and any show for that matter. Underscoring that, for all the money that fans pay to see a performer, they’re treated little better than cattle shoved into a boxcar. Effectively “paying to be treated like shit.” And while Swift does her best to fortify the parasocial dynamic that has made her a billionaire, there’s only so much a fan can take. This much was obvious when, the following day, when the temperature had spiked even higher, Swift opted to cancel the show just hours before it was slated to go on. By that time, thousands upon thousands of fans had already queued in line/converged upon Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos to wait for her to take the stage again. And they didn’t come unprepared to suffer, with one fan calling out the fact that she wore a diaper so as to avoid leaving the line to go to the bathroom. The fan posted a video documenting her rage over the fact that Swift didn’t make her intentions known sooner, fully aware at this juncture of the treks involved for people to get to the venue, with many taking plane and bus rides to arrive there. So it was that the fan derided, “Can you see how much I’m sweating, how all the pores in my body are dilated from the sweat? I’m wearing a diaper, a geriatric diaper. Come on stage, I want to see you!” This strange mix of disdain and devotion is at the heart of the saying, “There’s a fine love between love and hate.” As well as a fine line between love and obsession; hate and obsession.
In any event, Swift, from her aristocratic perch, likely thought she was playing by the book by postponing the show instead of subjecting her audience to more scorching suffocation and dehydration. And yet, if she had given true thought to any of this, it might have occurred to her not to schedule the tour dates at the apex of Brazil’s summer.
Nonetheless, Swift has still emerged from the fiasco (to use an understatement) with a halo around her head. Somehow managing to set off yet another political movement despite being mostly apolitical herself, as the drama surrounding the concert from the outset prompted Brazilian lawmakers to propose the “Taylor Swift Law,” a piece of legislation designed to penalize scalpers for reselling tickets with four years of jail time and up to one hundred times the valued amount of the ticket in fines. This after scalpers used violence and terrorization to cut the lines at the box office in both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo so they could resell at muggers’ prices. Ah, and speaking of muggings, a rash of them occurred after Swift decided not to go forward with the planned show on the 18th, giving rise to making her crushed, overheated fans targets for pickpocketing as they grudgingly left from the venue. While some took refuge from the danger inside a nearby Burger King, it turned out to be little safer than the outside world as the police proceeded to raid the establishment. Those able to make it inside of a taxi to leave were, of course, heavily overcharged for the price of their flight from Swiftian hell.
The night before, amid chants of “water, water, water,” Swift “assured” the fans they didn’t need to chant—water was coming (side note: it wasn’t, as only a handful of lucky ones were able to secure bottles from Swift’s team). During another portion of the show, she can be seen launching a bottle of water into the crowd like Trump launching paper towels at Puerto Ricans. Because, evidently, it’s okay for the performer to hurtle heavy objects into the audience (for a “good cause”), but that sentiment doesn’t cut both ways, as Swift made clear to her Argentinian fans a week before setting up in Rio. Instead, Swift has been painted as a beneficent soul just trying to make the best of a ghetto situation. And yeah, that’s how Americans would view it: ghetto as fuck. Whereas Brazilians are forced to withstand these conditions if they want a chance at seeing their favorite pop star perform live. And so, in another unwitting political move on Swift’s part, she’s managed to put pressure on an organization like T4F to improve the concert-going experience for Brazilian patrons. Alas, if even the U.S. hasn’t done shit to change things with Ticketmaster, the likelihood of real change with T4F seems even more remote.
Thus, the aristocrat-peon relationship will probably persist in any concert situation (that is, when it isn’t inversely employer-employee). With the beloved idol in question looking down at the peon-fans from on high just trying to “do their job” while ignoring the many-layered affronts happening from within the trenches of the crowd.
As the mother of two Super Bowl champions, Donna Kelce has a lot to be proud of. The 71-year-old is now in the spotlight for something other than the epic rivalry between her boys at the NFL’s biggest match: Her son Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift. Wondering about Donna Kelce’s net worth? Keep reading to find out.
Mama Kelce hails from Cleveland, and before being a dedicated NFL mom, she held high-level positions in finance (which we’ll get to below). Donna revealed on her sons’ joint podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce that she met her now ex-husband, and their father Ed, while on her way to another date. Before going to a play, she stopped at a bar where Ed was enjoying an after-work drink. “I was supposed to go out with a guy that night. We were supposed to go to a play, and I never made it. Your dad and I talked forever,” Donna told her sons. “It was a good play, too! I really wanted to see it.”
Donna and Ed got married in the late ’70s. They welcomed their older son Jason in Nov. 1987 and Travis shortly after in Oct. 1989. They raised their family in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and their sons both went to the University of Cincinnati to play college football. After Jason and Travis graduated from college, the couple decided to separate after roughly 25 years of marriage. Donna said that she holds no ill will toward their father.
“I don’t hate him. We’re friends to this day. We get along great,” Donna explained on the podcast. “We were like a tag team with you two. We got to do all sorts of fun things. When one of you had to go out of town, the other person would help with the other child. It was perfect.”
Both Donna and Ed have supported their sons’ football careers by cheering them on the sidelines. In January 2023, Donna went viral after traveling over 1,200 miles to see her sons’ Wild Card playoff matches in person on the same day. She was in the spotlight again in September 2023 after she was photographed in a suite alongside Travis’ rumored girlfriend and popstar billionaire, Taylor Swift.
Two months later, multiple news outlets are reporting that Donna and Ed are allegedly planning to meet Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, when the Eagles play the Chiefs on Monday, November 20 at 8 p.m. It will also mark the first time the teams will face off since the Super Bowl LVII in February, so there’s a lot at stake.
Donna Kelce Net Worth
What is Donna Kelce’s net worth? Donna Kelce’s net worth is estimated to be at $1.55 million, according to Popular Net Worth. It’s currently unknown if she makes any money from her sons’ successful careers.
Kelce is retired after spending 30 years working in banking, where she specialized in commercial real estate finances. She previously held vice president and senior VP positions at various banking institutions, including Truist, KeyBank and Bank One, per her LinkedIn page. She earned a Bachelor of Communications degree from Ohio University and graduated with her MBA in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace University in 1983. She officially retired in 2021.
As for her children, Donna’s sons are among the highest-paid NFL players in the league. Travis Kelce’s net worth is reportedly around $30 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The Kansas City Chief tight end allegedly renewed his contract with the team in 2022 worth $57.25 million, securing him an annual salary of $14.3 million until 2026. The football star also has brand deals with Nike, Old Spice, T-Mobile and Dick’s Sporting Goods, McDonalds and Papa Johns.
In a January 2023 interview with Vanity Fair, Travis joked about how he isn’t paid enough. “My managers and agents love to tell me how underpaid I am,” he said. “Any time I talk about wanting more money, they’re just like, ‘Why don’t you go to the Chiefs and ask them?”
Meanwhile, Travis’ brother Jason Kelce‘s net worth is estimated to be slightly higher at $40 million. The Philadelphia Eagles player is considered to be the current top-earning center in the NFL. Jason’s contract was renewed for one year in 2023 at a value of $14.25 million (which includes a base salary of $1,165,000 and a $10,335,000 signing bonus).
The athlete’s fortune is also comprised of lucrative endorsement deals and real estate investments, including an eight-acre farm in Pennsylvania and a property in his hometown of Cleveland.
It’s a week before Thanksgiving, which means we have been thrust into the holiday season whether we were ready or not. While you’re gearing up to see your family and friends for your obligatory annual catch-up conversations, we need new music now more than ever. Because there are travels to be completed, and soothing is needed.
And as I previously mentioned, it’s holiday season- which means many artists will be releasing holiday tracks to get you in the spirit. Compiling songs from Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, the countless press releases flooding my email, and doing my own investigations, we have yet another week’s worth of new music ready!
That’s right, I’ve got a fresh playlist of songs you didn’t know you needed in your life. Whether you have Friendsgivings to attend, clubs to dance in, or are just staying in on this lovely November Friday, there’s always a good time to find new tunes.
We’ve got no time to spare, so let’s get listening!
Lauren Spencer Smith- “Santa Baby”
Lauren Spencer Smith is one of the most exciting rising stars in pop music right now. She can spin any track into gold, whether it be a ballad, or a rock-inspired pop dance tune. Now, she’s here with a taste of the holidays for us with a rendition of “Santa Baby”- her clear, concise vocals are flawless, haunting, and flirty.
She’s fully in holiday season…releasing a cover of “Hallelujah” earlier this month and releasing “Broke Christmas” alongside her “Santa Baby” cover. It begs the question: is there anything she can’t do?
Sabrina Carpenter- fruitcake
Another woman in the music industry having a massive year is Sabrina Carpenter, who went viral on TikTok for her “Nonsense” outros on tour, both her own and opening for Taylor Swift. Coming off her fifth studio album with emails i can’t send in 2022, Carpenter is establishing herself as the “next big popstar.”
She’s here with her holiday EP, fruitcake, with six festive songs that are uniquely Carpenter. You can get tired of the same old holiday cheer songs over and over, but Sabrina Carpenter’s fruitcake proves there’s still ground to be broken in the holiday song category.
Jimmy Fallon, Meghan Trainor- “Wrap Me Up”
Jimmy Fallon and Meghan Trainor team up for a light-hearted track during the gifting season. Begging for you to “wrap me up” because she’s the “whole damn package”, you get the classic Meghan Trainor sound and vibe. Plus, any track adding Jimmy Fallon is guaranteed to be instantaneously exciting.
What I love about Meghan Trainor’s music is that it truly is all about having fun and feeling your best. It’s an infectious, often viral method that gets everyone dancing whether they wanted to or not. “Wrap Me Up” is no exception , which is no surprise.
Chloe Stroll, “Homesick”
Chloe Stroll is one of Popdust’s favorites for a good reason: she has an honest approach to making quality music that is both relatable and easy to listen to. Her new single, “Homesick”, is proof that she is willing to work hard to create these borderline perfect tracks and shows her growth as a new artist in the industry. She sings about yearning for someone’s love, being homesick for them.
It’s a pop sound with synths and, of course, a hint of piano. It exhibits her vocal range and you can hear the emotion through each chorus as she launches in. If you need an introduction to Chloe Stroll, this is the song for you.
Elle Darlington- “christmas is you”
Elle Darlington has a soulful, ethereal tone that is reminiscent of pop divas we know and love. You wonder if there is a note she can’t hit as she effortlessly glides through “christmas is you”. She delivers a dreamy bedroom pop Christmas song that makes you want to go out in the snow and romanticize your holiday season. Darlington says,
“Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. This songreflects the thing I love most about Christmas – being with my family and friends. So many of my idols including Mariah & Ariana have been the soundtrack to my favorite festive memories; so it’s super exciting that ‘christmas is you’ could play a part in making those memories for other people.”
DRAMA- “As I Am”
“As I Am” is the latest single off of DRAMA’s Til We Die EP that offers high energy and otherworldly sound, sending you straight to the club dance floor. Til We Die is one of DRAMA’s best bodies of work to date, and “As I Am” perfectly encapsulates all the album has to offer. It’s like stepping into a haze in the best way possible, listening feels like the ultimate escape.
DRAMA delivers electronic R&B that includes thought-provoking lyrics and refreshing beats…melding into catchy club tracks that make you want to go out all night long. “As I Am” is a peek into a tortured love affair, masked by a celestial, entrancing sound.
“I’m writing this from my dressing room in the stadium. The decision has been made to postpone tonight’s show due to the extreme temperatures in Rio,” the singer said in a handwritten note on Instagram. “The safety and well being of my fans, fellow performers, and crew has to and always will come first.”
The cause of death for Ana Clara Benevides Machado, the young woman who sought medical attention at Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium during Friday’s show, has not yet been announced. The office of Rio’s public prosecutor opened a criminal investigation and said Benevides’ body was being examined.
Benevides’ death shook many people in Brazil. She had taken her first flight ever to travel from the country’s center-west region to Rio to see her favorite musician. She also created a WhatsApp group to keep her family updated, sending photos and videos every step of the way, family members told online news site G1.

Fans and politicians reacted to her death with outrage, speculating it was linked to extreme heat.
Concertgoers complained they were not allowed to take water into the stadium despite the stifling weather. As temperatures continued to rise Saturday and with two more shows to go at the time, federal authorities announced that free water would now be made available at concerts and other large events.
One of Benevides’ friends, who also went to the concert, told local outlets they had both been given water while waiting to enter the stadium.
In a previous statement shared on her social media Saturday morning, Swift said she had a “shattered heart.”
“There’s very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young,” the singer wrote of the young woman.
The show’s organizer, Time4Fun, said on Instagram that paramedics attended to Benevides after she reported feeling unwell. She was taken to a first-aid center and then to a hospital, where she died an hour later, the statement from the Brazilian live entertainment company said.
Fans who attended the Friday show said they were not allowed to bring water bottles into the stadium even though Rio and most of Brazil have had record-breaking temperatures this week amid a dangerous and lasting heat wave. The daytime high in Rio on Friday was 39.1 degrees Celsius (102.4 degrees Fahrenheit), but it felt much hotter.
Apparent temperature — a combination of temperature and humidity — hit 59 C (138 F) Friday morning in Rio, the highest index ever recorded there.
Elizabeth Morin, 26, who recently moved to Rio from Los Angeles, described “sauna-like” conditions inside the stadium.
“It was extremely hot. My hair got so wet from sweat as soon as I came in,” she said. “There was a point at which I had to check my breathing to make sure I wasn’t going to pass out.”

Morin said she drank plenty of water but saw “a good amount of people looking distressed” and others “yelling for water.” She said she was able to get water from the sidelines of the area she was standing in, but that water was a lot harder to access from other parts of the stadium, “especially if you were concerned about losing your specific position.”
During the show, Swift paused her performance and asked from the stage for water to be brought to a group of people who had successfully caught the singer’s attention, according to Morin.
“They were holding up their phones saying ‘We need water,’” she recalled.
Two other concertgoers interviewed by The Associated Press said they witnessed people feeling unwell from the heat during the show.
On her way to Rio, Benevides sent a video to family members that was broadcast by TV channel Globo News, telling them: “Mom, look at the plane, it’s moving. Mom, I’m on the plane. My God in heaven! I’m happy!”
Then before the concert, she posted a video of herself on Instagram wearing a Taylor Swift T-shirt and friendship bracelets, seeking shade under an umbrella while waiting in line to enter the stadium.
Like her, thousands of fans waited hours in the sun before being allowed inside.
She told her followers while fanning her face that she’d arrived at 11 a.m. — the show began around 7:30 p.m. — and was “still in the mess.”
Benevides’ friend, Daniele Menin, who attended the concert with her, told online news site G1 that her friend passed out at the beginning of the concert, as Swift performed her second song, “Cruel Summer.”
“We always said that when (Taylor Swift) came to Brazil we would find a way to go. The ticket was very expensive, but we still found a way,” Menin told G1.
Justice Minister Flávio Dino said on X, formerly known as Twitter, that going forward in Brazil, “water bottles for personal use, in suitable material, will be allowed” at concerts and festivals and that show producers must provide free and easily accessible drinking water.
Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes wrote on X that the “loss of a young woman’s life … is unacceptable” and demanded more brigades and ambulances at future shows.
Still, the concert was postponed.
“We are on the train. And everyone is so disappointed,” said Hely Olivares, a 41 year-old Venezuelan who had traveled from Panama to see the artist.
Before postponing the concert, Swift wrote on Instagram that she would not address the death from stage “because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it.”
“I want to say now I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends,” she said.
Fans hopeful for a repeat of the behind-the-porta-potty embrace heard ’round the world will have to wait a little bit longer. Though singer Taylor Swift was expected to attend Monday night’s brother-against-brother game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, those plans have been quashed by a change to her Eras Tour schedule. Sorry, guy on the Chiefs. Taylor won’t be coming straight home to you, after all.
Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones spilled the beans on Taylor’s previous plans Friday, telling Rich Eisen that he was planning an outing with Swift and her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, after Monday’s game. That made sense: Swift’s Eras Tour schedule had her performing in Rio De Janeiro on Sunday, but taking a break until Friday, November 24, when she’d start a three-show stint in São Paulo. Plenty of time for a quick Brazil-to-Philly-to-Brazil whirlwind trip.
But on Friday night, 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado died after collapsing at Swift’s show at Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos, an open-air stadium that reached temperatures over 102.4 degrees Fahrenheit that day. As the record-breaking heat wave continued, Swift canceled her Saturday concert for “the safety and well being of my fans, fellow performers, and crew,” Swift said via Instagram.
Time For Fun, one of the organizers of Swift’s Rio shows, announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Swift’s show would instead be held on Monday, making Swift’s presence at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium impossible.

Even with Swift on another continent, there are still plenty of reasons the November 20 installment of Monday Night Football remains notable. First is the brother-against-brother narrative of the game: Donna and Ed Kelce’s son, Travis, is a tight end for the Chiefs, while their other son, Jason, is a center for the Eagles. For which son will they root? Whose colors will they wear?
And speaking of parents, it had been previously reported that Taylor’s parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, would attend the game to meet Donna and Ed for the first time. It’s unclear if those plans will change with their daughter still in Brazil, but it’s worth noting that Scott is a longtime Eagles fan who only recently indicated any support for the Chiefs. If he still hits the game, which side will he pick?
Finally, there’s Travis’s performance to consider. Monday’s matchup, the first time since the 2023 Super Bowl that the brothers’ teams will meet, has analysts predicting a Chiefs win. But those predictions were made when it was widely expected that Swift would be in the stands—and is now well known that Kelce’s performance significantly improves when she’s watching from the box. In other words, while all bets aren’t off for Monday’s game, perhaps they should be, given this new and potentially book-breaking information.
Ahead of Monday night’s Philadelphia Eagles game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia radio station Q102 won’t play Taylor Swift’s music because of her relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
“Q102 is punting Taylor Swift from the radio station for the entire weekend because while Q102 loves Taylor Swift, we can’t get enough of her, this weekend it’s really important we show our support for the Birds,” Q102 radio host Nugget told CBS News.
By the time the game is over on Tuesday, the station will play Swift’s music again, according to CBS News.
It’s a big game on Monday because it’s the first time the Chiefs and Eagles will play each other since February’s Super Bowl, when the Chiefs won 38 to 35. Kelce will also play his brother, Jason Kelce, who plays center for the Eagles.
Kelce’s dad, Ed Kelce, previously praised Swift for not being a “diva.”
“I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her,” Ed Kelce told People. “We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.”
A 23-year-old woman died at a Taylor Swift concert Friday in Rio de Janeiro. While the cause of death has not yet been revealed, the concert took place during extreme temperatures. In response to the death, Swift wrote that she was “overwhelmed with grief,” and has postponed her two remaining shows in Rio.

Taylor Swift canceled her second show in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday due to excessive heat and following the death of a 23-year-old fan during her Eras Tour concert on Friday evening.
“I’m writing this from my dressing room in the stadium. The decision has been made to postpone tonight’s show due to the extreme temperatures in Rio,” the singer said in a handwritten note posted on her Instagram account. “The safety and well being of my fans, fellow performers, and crew has to and always will come first.”
The cause of death for Ana Clara Benevides Machado, who sought medical attention at Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium during Friday’s show, has yet to be revealed, according to The Associated Press. Rio’s public prosecutor has opened a criminal investigation and confirmed that Benevides’s body was being examined.
Following her death, thousands of concertgoers complained they were not allowed to take water into the 44,000-seat stadium despite searing temperatures that reached more than 102.4 degrees Fahrenheit. Federal authorities announced on Saturday that free water would now be available at concerts, but it was too little, too late.
In a handwritten note shared on social media, Swift said she had a “shattered heart.”
“There’s very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young,” Taylor posted on IG.
The show’s organizer, Time4Fun, said that paramedics took Benevides to a first-aid center and then to a hospital, where she died an hour later, in a statement from the Brazilian live entertainment company.

Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes said on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the “loss of a young woman’s life … is unacceptable.”
For now, Swift is set to perform in Rio on Sunday, with three more concerts scheduled for the following weekend in Sao Paulo that begin November 24. State prosecutors said in a statement that they will “monitor measures that seek to avoid new problems and guarantee the protection of the health of the public.”
“I’m not going to be able to speak about this from [the] stage because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it,” the singer wrote. “I want to say now I feel this loss deeply, and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends.”
A 23-year-old Taylor Swift fan died at the singer’s Eras Tour concert in Rio de Janeiro Friday night, according to a statement from the show’s organizers in Brazil. Both Swifties and politicians reacted to the news with outrage.
While a cause of death for Ana Clara Benevides Machado has not been announced, fans complained they were not allowed to take water into Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium despite soaring temperatures.
A group launched an online petition Saturday morning calling for a “Benevides Law” to “make water in events mandatory.”
The petition garnered more than 150,000 signatures in just a few hours. Federal authorities announced that free water would be made available at all future concerts.
In a handwritten note shared on her social media, Swift said she had a “shattered heart.”

“There’s very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young,” the singer wrote of the young woman.
Taylor Swift fans waitlisted amid ticket frenzy
The show’s organizer, Time4Fun, said on Instagram that paramedics attended to Benevides after she reported feeling unwell. She was taken to a first-aid center and then to a hospital, where she died an hour later, the statement from the Brazilian live entertainment company said.
Concert-goers said they were not allowed to bring water bottles into the stadium even though Rio and most of Brazil have had record-breaking temperatures this week amid a dangerous and lasting heat wave. The daytime high in Rio on Friday was 39.1 degrees Celsius (102.4 degrees Fahrenheit), but it felt much hotter.

Taylor Swift: Digging into supply and demand of Eras Tour tickets
During the show, Swift paused her performance and asked from the stage for water to be brought to a group of people who had successfully caught the singer’s attention, according to Morin.
“They were holding up their phones saying `We need water,”’ she recalled.
Justice Minister Flavio Dino said on X that the ministry would implement “emergency rules” in response to the situation. He later announced that “water bottles for personal use, in suitable material, will be allowed” at concerts and other events and that show producers must provide free and easily accessible drinking water.
Before the show, Benevides posted a video of herself on Instgram wearing a Taylor Swift T-shirt and waiting in line to enter the stadium while seeking shade under an umbrella.
The ticket was very expensive, but we still found a way”, Menin told G1.
Ready for it, Swifties? Superstar Taylor Swift coming to Canada
Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes said on X the “loss of a young woman’s life … is unacceptable.”

While authorities are investigating the circumstances of the death, Paes wrote, the municipality will demand Saturday that the show’s production company provide new water distribution points, more brigades and ambulances, and advance entrance to the show by one hour.
Swift has two more shows scheduled in Rio, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
“I’m not going to be able to speak about this from stage because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it,” she wrote. “I want to say now I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends.”
With her rollercoaster of relationship dramas, prolific back catalog, and intense fanbase, there is no wonder so many memes exist about Taylor Swift. It was tough whittling them down to just ten, but we have the list of our top favorite Taylor Swift memes ranked right here!
10 Best Taylor Swift Memes Ever Made
Swifties are an enthusiastic and, at times, scary bunch of fans who adore Taylor and her music and are obsessed with every move she makes. And who wouldn’t be? Taylor pours her soul into her music and her entire heart into her relationships so her fans can feel it whenever they listen to her songs. Of course, she is much more than just a music-obsessed romantic. Swift is also a cat-lover and awkward dancer! All these things make for some amazing memes made by her fans.
2023 saw the release of a much-anticipated album, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), and fans were beside themselves with excitement. Many Swifties were kids or young teens when the first 1989 version came out, so to see it return with its full Taylor stamp of approval was beyond joyous. And, of course, this prompted some reflective and nostalgic memes.
Any new release from your favorite artist feels special, and this was especially true for Swifties. They had been waiting two years for this, so it was kind of a big deal!

Constantly ready to defend their queen, Swifties will always have the receipts to back up their claims. Taylor has been a lot more than ‘just a country singer’ for years now, and anyone who disagrees can just check how many awards she has won for her pop albums. She has gained awards for Favorite Contemporary Artist, Song of the Year, and Artist of the Year at the 2013 American Music Awards and continued this winning trend every year since.
The anticipation felt by Swifties when waiting for a new album to be announced is palpable. Taylor is well-known by her entire fanbase for posting hints and secret codes about her next project, as well as just outright lying that she isn’t working on anything at that moment!

Even if she was telling the truth, I doubt her fans would believe her anyway. Taylor works so hard and is a natural songwriter, so she is undoubtedly writing new material as I write this. Swifties know this, so they never believe Taylor when she says she’s not working on a new album. For most fans, her music is integral to their happiness, so this Maslow parody meme is not far from the truth.
Aside from wanting the next big album to drop as soon as possible, Swifties wish for nothing more than to see Taylor happy and in love. I mean, Taylor’s relationships and her music are intrinsically linked, so this should be no surprise. Plus, most Taylor Swift fans are walking encyclopedias regarding Taylor’s past boyfriends. And they never forgive or forget…
One of Taylor’s most significant exes was Jake Gyllenhaal. The pair dated back in 2010, and although it was a brief romance, Gyllenhaal inspired a few of Taylor’s songs. The epic ballad ‘All Too Well’ is the most referenced, especially the line “And I left my scarf there at your sister’s house/And you’ve still got it in your drawer even now.” Even months later, Jake has been seen wearing that very same scarf!
Even to people who aren’t Taylor fans, her relationships are big news. As a serial dater, Taylor has a list of boyfriends and romantic trysts almost as long as her back catalog. Some are just rumored, while others have been very public and occasionally messy. But hey, they make for some excellent love ballads and break-up songs! Most Swifties have a favorite of Taylor’s exes (Taylor Lautner) and, of course, a most-hated (John Mayer, obvs).
The latest, and we all hope last, to join the long list of lovers is the NFL star Travis Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs player is popular with the Swifties thanks to his good attitude and wholesome nature. One fan said how good it was that Swift found a man who’s been to therapy in a tongue-in-cheek tweet.
The pair seem like a great match, so most Swifties and NFL fans are hoping they make it. And if they don’t… Well, we all know what will happen: a new album’s worth of tracks!
Another of the Swifties’ favorite things about Taylor is her ‘adorkable’ attitude. Despite being a millionaire and successful world-famous artist, she can be extremely relatable. Her love for her cat (well, all cats, really) and lack of coordination make her truly one of us. She also has a very memeable and expressive face, which we love.

The best thing is that she could quite easily be a total diva, but I guess it is a testament to her upbringing that she is still relatively down-to-earth. I mean, look at the meme above: “When I see a kid throwing a massive tantrum in a grocery store, part of me is like, man, I feel you.” See, she goes to the grocery store just like regular folk and wants to throw a tantrum just like us!
Rowan is a writer and educator from Devon, U.K. She has been writing about mobile and console games since 2020. Rowan loves puns and dad jokes, and also runs a secret meme page. She has a love/hate relationship with Dead By Daylight and a completely healthy obsession with Fortnite.
Ana Clara Benevides, a 23-year-old fan and psychology student, died before Taylor Swift’s Rio de Janeiro concert at Estádio Nilton Santos last night (November 17) during a record-breaking heat wave, reports Folha de S.Paulo. According to her friend and nurse Thiago Fernandes, Benevides fainted in the front row and was given CPR for 40 minutes before being transported to a hospital, where she suffered a second cardiac arrest and died.
Swift posted a statement on her Instagram stories mourning the loss of Benevides after the show: “I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show. I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this. There’s very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young. I’m not going to be able to speak about this from stage because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it. I want to say now I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends. This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil.”
In multiple videos from last night’s concert, Swift stopped the show twice to ask the venue and her team to hand out more water, at times taking it upon herself to throw bottles to fans in the crowd. Firefighters reported over a thousand fans fainted due to the heat and those who vomited, a sign of dehydration, were offered assistance.
Fans immediately started a petition to enact a law in Benevides’ honor ensuring free water access at all venues. Today, Brazil’s Federal Deputy Erika Hilton reported T4F, the Brazilian entertainment company that promoted the concert, to the Federal Public ministry for risking public health by preventing fans from bringing water into the venue. Minister of Justice and Public Flavio Dino similarly scolded T4F and issued a statement that, from today onwards, water bottles will be permitted into shows and production companies must provide free drinking water in accessible areas for any concerts with high heat exposure.
Swift has two additional shows scheduled for Rio de Janeiro on November 18 and 19 as part of The Eras Tour, followed by three more concerts in São Paulo, Brazil. Those are currently still scheduled to take place. Rio de Janeiro Mayor Eduardo Paes announced that additional ambulances, extra staff members, and new water distribution points will be added to the next two concerts.
In a handwritten statement shared via her Instagram story, the 33-year-old singer penned, “I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show. I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this. There’s very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young.”
Swift added that she would not be able to speak about this on stage because she gets “overwhelmed by grief” when she tries to talk about it. She continued, “I want to say now I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends. This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil.”
How did Taylor Swift’s fan die in Brazil?
How did Taylor Swift’s fan die in Brazil? According to People, one of the event organizers Time for Fun posted on X that the fan who passed was 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado. Written in Portuguese, the post claims that Machado didn’t feel well at the venue and was attended to by first responders on site. She was then transferred to Salgado Filho Hospital, where she died.
The cause of the fan’s death at this moment is not clear, but on the day of the show, Rio was reportedly experiencing a heat wave and recorded its highest heat index (which combines temperature and humidity) at 59.3 degrees Celsius, per Reuters.
During the concert, fans recorded Swift halting her performance to ask that water be brought to fans who needed it. “There’s people that need water, right here,” the singer said while pointing at a section of the crowd who had their arms raised. “So whoever is in charge of giving them that, please come and make sure that that happens.”
According to the Associated Press, several local media reported that water bottles were not allowed inside the stadium. Following the incident, Justice Minister Flávio Dino wrote on X that the ministry will adopt emergency rules regarding access to water at shows and other public events.
“Sorry, it’s just it’s very hot, so if somebody says they need water when it’s this hot, they really need it,” Swift also said from the stage captured in this video.
“We don’t need to chant, it’s totally fine. But, we just need to get water to them,” Swift told the audience. In another clip, she appeared to toss a water bottle into the crowd for a fan.
Thiago Fernandes, a friend of Ana, posted a tribute to her on Instagram on Friday. “I just can’t believe your [sic] gone I can’t accept that. We talked about this show so many times, and how I wish I was with you,” he originally wrote in Portuguese.
The superstar kicked off her International Eras Tour leg in South America last week in Buenos Aires. Swift arrived in Sao Paulo on Thursday and was welcomed by a personalized projection on the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue ahead of this weekend’s shows.
“I just want to start off by saying that I feel completely unworthy of this honor, but it is sort of the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me,” Swift said of the projection while on stage last night. “And I say that because I heard that part of why this was able to happen is because so many of you donated food and water and that makes me so incredibly proud. I’m so proud of you. Thank you so much for everything that you do, including showing up tonight and being so nice to us!”
Taylor Swift is mourning one of her fans after announcing that they died prior to her show in Brazil on Friday.
“I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show. I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this. There’s very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young,” she wrote on Instagram following her Eras Tour concert in Rio de Janeiro.
She continued: “I’m not going to be able to speak about this from stage because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it. I want to say now I feel this loss deeply and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends. This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil.”
Swift didn’t provide additional details in her announcement although Brazil’s Folha de S.Paulo newspaper reported that a 23-year-old fan – Ana Clara Benevides – fainted and was treated at Rio’s Estádio Nilton Santos before being sent to a local hospital, where she later died.
Her cause of death was cardiorespiratory arrest, the newspaper said.

Swift’s Rio show occurred on a night where fans faced extreme temperatures amid a dangerous heat wave in Brazil.
Officials reported around 1,000 fans fainted at the event while some concertgoers vomited and suffered from severe dehydration, according to Folha de S.Paulo.
The concert occurred just days after Rio saw its heat index – a combination of air temperature and humidity – hit 58.5 degrees Celsius (137 degrees Fahrenheit) on Tuesday, The Associated Press noted.
It marked the highest-ever recorded heat index in the city.
Videos shared on social media Friday showed fans calling for “water” at the venue as Swift, who noticed the chants from the stage, appeared to point out the concertgoers to staff.
“Sorry, it’s just very hot so if somebody says they need water when it’s this hot, they really need it,” she said.
Drake is giving Taylor Swift her props — and seemingly considers her his only real competition.
The rapper stunned fans on Thursday when he announced his new EP “Scary Hours 3,” just a month after dropping “For All the Dogs” and stating he was taking a break from music. One song in particular took listeners by surprise, as Drake singled out Swift as a force to be reckoned with.
On the track “Red Button,” the first of the EP’s six songs, Drake raps: “Taylor Swift the only n***a that I ever rated/ Only one could make me drop the album just a little later/ Rest of y’all, I treat you like you never made it.”
Those lines suggest Drake is paying attention to Swift and her unparalleled success. Last year, the rapper delayed the release of his album “Her Loss” by a week, putting a little more distance between it and Swift’s mega-release “Midnights,” which had just come out. Swift’s single “Anti-Hero” dominated the Billboard Hot 100 charts at the time.
The rapper said on Instagram Thursday that the songs on “Scary Hours 3” came to him in just a matter of days.
“I did those songs in the last five days,” he said. “I didn’t have one bar written down for those songs on the night that ‘For All the Dogs’ dropped. It’s not like I’m picking up from some unfinished shit. You know, this is just happening on its own. And who am I to fight it?”
For those hoping thatbeing a “superstar” producer had left Jack Antonoff no time to remember his own musical “project,” Bleachers, the media regrets to inform you that he has not forgotten at all. And after promising there would be new Bleachers music in 2022, he’s decided to deliver on that vow in late 2023…because time flies when you’re producing Midnights and Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. And, speaking of the latter, it is Lana Del Rey who joins Bleachers for their latest single, “Alma Mater.” A song title that, in fact, could swing both ways in terms of being either a Del Rey or Swift track. After all, both women still speak as though they’re fresh from their collegiate years. But Del Rey is the more suitable choice for a title like this, what with her schoolgirl fetish and actual college degree (unlike Swift, who merely has an “honorary” one from NYU).
Although her vocal contribution is minimal—in fact, little more noticeable than what she brought to Swift’s original version of “Snow on the Beach” before they re-recorded it for Midnights (The Til Dawn Edition)—Del Rey’s influence is all over the track. And that includes the fact that she co-produced it along with Antonoff and Patrik Berger. But beyond that, her lyrical stylings and habits pepper “Alma Mater” in ways that include referencing the titles of other musicians’ work (in this case, Tom Waits’ Heartattack and Vine) and painting the picture of “trashball Americana” (from the white perspective, mind you). This is patent in the lines, “Threw her t-shirt down the pike (alma mater)/Screamin’, ‘Fuck Balenciaga’/Right past the Wawa.” The part where Antonoff mentions how the girl in question screamed “fuck Balenciaga” also echoes Del Rey on “This Is What Makes Us Girls” when she sings, “Runnin’ from the cops in our black bikini tops/Screamin’, ‘Get us while we’re hot, get us while we’re hot.’” Clearly, Antonoff has been listening to (and unwittingly studying) Del Rey’s work over the years so that it has managed to affect his own.
This includes Del Rey’s obsession with talking about summer and stating the obvious about its hot temperature. A trope that also shows up in “Alma Mater,” when Antonoff sings, “Well summer’s gettin’ hotter/(Alma mater).” Similar non sequitur/“no shit Sherlock” remarks about the summer season also show up in Del Rey songs like “Without You,” when she announces, “Summertime is nice and hot.” In “Heroin,” she takes it one step further by shouting, “It’s fuckin’ hot, hot.” So perhaps for Antonoff, who sounds more like The National’s Matt Berninger than himself on this track, working with Del Rey requires mentioning the summer at least once. And, of course, anyone who wants to collab with Del Rey should be adept at metaphors. So it is that Antonoff’s gift for this literary device shines through when he says, “She’s my alma mater,” a simultaneously romantic and sexual phrase that refers to how this person is someone he’s known intimately. And presumably, “graduated from.” Which might mean that, as he talks about this woman now, he’s either reminiscing about her or speaking of her from the “friend zone” perspective they’ve now transitioned to. Antonoff certainly has experience with that…unfortunately, with Lena Dunham.
But now that he’s moved onward and upward to another nepo baby, Margaret Qualley, it appears as though it was destined to be all along. If for no other reason than it gave Del Rey inspiration to write “Margaret” and collaborate vocally with Antonoff on it. Not only in the studio, but onstage, with Antonoff joining her to perform the track during the All Things Go Festival in Columbia, Maryland (as well as “Venice Bitch”). He also showed up to play the piano on “For Free” (LDR’s preferred Joni Mitchell cover) and “Mariners Apartment Complex” when Del Rey appeared at the Newport Folk Festival. So yes, theirs has been a rich and productive musical partnership both in and out of the studio, with Antonoff doing most of the giving. Which is why Del Rey probably thought she should do him a solid by appearing on “Alma Mater.” A song during which she promises, “I’ll make it darker”—this being an overt nod to Leonard Cohen’s “You Want It Darker.” Not to mention Del Rey’s own 2021 song, “Dark But Just A Game,” itself inspired by a phrase Antonoff said to her about fame.
Elsewhere, Antonoff channels Del Rey’s “How To Disappear” (also produced by Antonoff) when he sings, “Point the headlights, flickеr dear/Drive by the old housе, go for a beer.” It’s all very “you just crack another beer/And pretend that you’re still here.” Or even, “Back, back in the garden/We’re getting high now because we’re older.” Indeed, the overall tone of “Alma Mater” is one of millennial ennui…and the resignation to getting “old” as one performs the folly-laden things they once did in their youth with less, let’s say, joie de vivre. Incidentally, on “Margaret,” Del Rey has the audacity to say, “‘When you’re old, you’re old/Like Hollywood and me.” Perhaps Gen Z ageism has infected the millennial mind if Del Rey believes she’s “aged” at thirty-seven (this being how old she was when she wrote the song). At another point, Antonoff’s “secondary” great muse, Taylor Swift, has her lyrical influence flicker in when Antonoff notes, “2003, sad all the time”—a line that channels Swift on Midnights’ “Paris” when she says, “2003, unbearable.” Making one wonder: what the fuck was so bad about 2003?
To “spice it up” a bit, Antonoff provides a white boy version of Megan Thee Stallion rapping, “He say, ‘The way that thang move it’s a movie’” by crooning, “You’re a movie to me, the way you move around me.” Swoon, sigh, etc. These are the reactions Antonoff wants to evoke. And yet, his need to include Del Rey on the song indicates a certain lack of confidence on his part in being able to do that. Perhaps, after so many years spent behind other musicians’ shadows, Antonoff is afraid he might not ever be able to fully come out (and no, that’s not an allusion to his sexuality…though he does look a bit like a lesbian who would give bad head).
Thus, what’s most glaringly apparent about “Alma Mater” is that Antonoff would rather save his true best (e.g., Del Rey’s “A&W”) for other artists instead of allowing it for himself. For, no matter how many times you listen to the song, nothing about it truly sticks or “implants” in your mind. As though every time is like hearing it for the first time…which isn’t the mark of praise, so much as genericness and forgettability. That is, within the established framework of music Antonoff has already created with and for someone like Del Rey.
Following her split from actor Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift has made wave after wave with her new beau, NFL player for the Kansas City Chiefs. Swifties are getting up to speed with the world of football, as Taylor attended games to see Travis in action, while NFL commentators dug into her back catalogue to make lyric-themed puns at games she was present for.
With Taylor and Travis’ relationship going public rapidly (a predictable development for any romance between two famous people), they seem to be powering through major milestones at breakneck speed. Entertainment Tonight reported that the couple’s parents will be meeting this weekend, ahead of Monday Night Football as the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs face off.
Taylor has also inserted Travis into one of her songs during a performance on the Eras Tour, changing the lyrics of Karma from “karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me” (a reference to ex Joe Alwyn) to “karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me”, a clear reference to Travis.
Travis’ reaction is nothing short of adorable, but is there one milestone the couple are thinking about in particular? Here’s a look at whether we can expect an engagement anytime soon.
Will Taylor be getting a Paper Ring anytime soon?
There’s no word from either of the pair on plans to get engaged and, truly, they are the only two who would really know. It’s not dampening hopes from fans or commentators, however, with actor Hilarie Burton Morgan tweeting a prediction for an engagement as soon as May of next year.
They are gonna have the most flannel lined, pie and red ribbon kinda Christmas….and then these babies are gonna be engaged by May. https://t.co/e01on1aLJs
However, some fans are calling the relationship a classic rebound, particularly after an early tweet from Kelce about squirrels went viral.
taylor swift in 2011: from when your brooklyn broke my skin and bones i’m a soldier who’s returning half her weight, and did the twin flame bruise paint you blue? just between us, did the love affair maim you too?
i understand taylor swift now. it’s every girl’s biggest dream to be able to text their dog. and that’s sort of the vibe travis kelce is bringing to the table
These comments about Travis’ intellect are inevitable, with assumptions based on the fact that he’s a football player and she an artist. It’s a tired trope, especially as we really don’t know what Travis is like as a person—and certainly not based on some old posts from 12 years ago.
For now, all we can really tell is that the pair seem to be happy—so who knows if an engagement could be on the way down the line.
