    Today, on January 22, Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram stories and shared a photo of a lighting diya after the Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya. Take a look:

    Sidharth Malhotra also took to his X (formerly twitter) and expressed his happiness over the joyous occasion and extended his heartfelt wishes to the fans and followers.

     

    Shilpa Shetty also took to her social media and shared the video offering first glimpse of Lord Ram after the momentous Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. She also dropped an insightful caption accompanied by the post.

    Veteran actress Hema Malini who had gone to witness the historical moment shared several pictures from Ayodhya. In the pictures, she is seen posing against the picturesque backdrop of the decked-up Ram Mandir.     Renowned singer-music composer Shankar Mahadevan is also amongst other Bollywood celebs attending the Ram Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya with his wife Sangeeta Mahadevan. The couple beaming wide smiles for the camera against the backdrop of Ram Temple expressed, “So honored and humbled being part of this historic moment !     In an exclusive chat with India Today, Paresh Rawal spoke extensively about the Hera Pheri franchise and his upcoming projects. Since Hera Pheri 3 is on the cards, the Welcome actor divulged about his bond with his co-stars, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty.

    When asked what’s it like to shoot with the two actors and if they still have the same bond and equation they had when they shot for the first instalment of the franchise, the actor said, “Yeah, we still have.” The senior actor added that after Hera Pheri, the trio has worked together in many films.

    Rawal added that while working they know what to do and what not to do. “We respect each other as an artist, as human beings, and as friends. They are all secure actors. And we know what we have to do. It’s not a kind of dark area that we don’t know what is expected of us. We know character mein kya karna hain kya nahi karna hain (We know what we should do while in character and what not to do),” he added.

    The sequel to the 2016 film Phir Hera Pheri was announced earlier. In Hera Pheri 3, Paresh Rawal will reprise his role of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte. Talking about the movie, he said in the same interview that sequels should be like the Munna Bhai franchise. “Agar ye achhi hoti haina, I always have this example of Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai. The sequel should be like that, radically different. Take a quantum leap. Take your character in a different background, a different world. Take the audience also to a different world. That’s how it should be,” he said hoping the best for his upcoming movie.

Sunny Deol played the role of Maha Vir Chakra recipient Brigadier Kuldip Singh Chandpuri. Back then he was a Major who led his 120 soldiers against 2000-3000 Pakistani soldiers and succeeded in driving the enemy battalion away.

After spending time with her girls, Athiya’s sangeet ceremony will take place the next day.     One of the most popular showbiz couple cricketer KL Rahul and actress Athiya Shetty are going to tie the knot in January next year, said a report. The couple travels together and doesn’t post photos on social media very often, but when they do, they take the internet by storm with their fashion statements together. The couple that has been dating for a long time now, are to start the new year with a bang, reported Pinkvilla while quoting a source.

    The source also informed Pinkvilla that the couple visited Suniel Shetty’s Khandala bungalow recently. “While the exact date has been under wraps, it will definitely be in January and the couple is looking forward to a traditional wedding,” reported Pinkvilla.

    The soon-to-be bride and groom has even finalised the outfits they will wear on their big day. Though the date is yet to be confirmed, it is for sure that Rahul and Athiya are to marry in 2023.

    The couple will tie the knot at Suniel Shetty’s house “Jahaan” in an intimate ceremony instead of plush city hotels and the five-star resorts.

    When the marriage rumours first surfaced on the internet in July, the actress dismissed the rumours by an Instagram story in which she wrote, “I hope I’m invited to the wedding that’s taking place in 3 months, Lol.”

    At a launch event, Suniel Shetty was asked about daughter Athiya Shetty’s impending marriage to KL Rahul to which he said “jaldi hogi” in response.

    Athiya and KL Rahul made their relationship public in 2021 when  Rahul attended the screening of Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty’s Bollywood debut film Tadap.

    On the cricket front, Rahul has taken some time off and is not playing in the T20I and ODI series against New Zealand. The batsman has been struggled with form in the T20 World Cup that concluded earlier this month.
