Mattel unveiled a doll made in the 43-year-old tennis pro’s image on Wednesday, May 22, to celebrate the importance of women’s sports. The toy, which features a plastic Williams in a white tennis dress and a matching visor, was introduced as part of the Team Barbie athlete collection that includes a plethora of other sports stars. Williams’ doll also holds a Wilson tennis racket and rocks hoop earrings and a braided ponytail.
Williams gushed about her personalized doll via Instagram on Wednesday, writing, “Barbies are role models for girls. Especially at this stage in my life all I wanna do is share what I know and what I’ve learned to help other people, in particular, young women.” Williams added that the doll is “one of a kind.”
“Meet your role models 💪,” Barbie captioned its own social media post, announcing the collection. “Barbie is proud to celebrate 65 years of inspiring the limitless potential in every girl alongside some of the world’s greatest athletes, who show us every day that girls have what it takes to make their dreams come true.”

The conveyor belt of scantily-clad stars suggests that they either ignored or misunderstood Wintour’s annual dress code objective.
For the first time ever, Wintour apologized for the confusion ahead of the event caused by the accompany Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute exhibit, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion”. She admitted that the theme was too broad and subject to too much interpretation. She then issued a clarification that the dress code was Garden of Time, but it may have been too late.

She said: “I fear that we’ve unleashed a lot of confusion out there for which I deeply apologize, but I imagine we’ll see a lot of flowers.” However, flowers would turn out to be the least of Wintour’s fears.
“The exhibition broke my cardinal rule,” Wintour, 74, continued on in the chat with Today’s Jenna Bush Hager on Monday, May 6. “When we came up with the title ‘Sleeping Beauties,’ it’s wonderful and poetic and romantic, but actually, it could be many, many things.”
It wasn’t Wintour’s first backtrack regarding this year’s theme. She initially wanted to make the event a tribute to the life and work of controversial fashion designer John Galliano.

Elsewhere in Wintour’s interview, she also addressed the long-standing rumor that she had banned onions, chives, and garlic from the gala’s dinner menu.
“Well, those are three things I’m not particularly fond of, and so yes, that’s true.” She also said of the cellphone ban: “It’s often wonderful to hear after dinner, people say, ‘Oh, we had the most wonderful conversations,’ and so that’s the idea, that life can exist without a picture on your cell phone.”

It will be available for the public to view on Friday, May 10.

The two walked The Fall Guy red carpet on Tuesday, April 30, wearing the same costumes — and full prosthetics — from a now-viral SNL skit where Gosling, 43, and Day, 44, were dressed as lookalikes of the iconic cartoon characters.
Videos from Tuesday’s red carpet showed the actors standing awkwardly on the red carpet as they stayed in character. Both Gosling and Day kept straight faces as the cameras snapped photos of them. Eventually, Gosling motioned to Day and the duo continued walking. The stars looked around confused the entire time they were on the carpet, further extending the bit from the SNL skit last month.
Gosling did, eventually, remove the prosthetics and changed into a mint green suit for a second walk down The Fall Guy red carpet. The movie, also starring Emily Blunt, is set to hit theaters on Friday, May 3. While Gosling looked amazing following his outfit change, the Beavis and Butt-Head moment still took center stage all night.
Gosling and Day’s “Beavis and Butt-Head” sketch became an immediate standout during SNL’s April 13 episode, especially after Heidi Gardner broke character during the live show. Gosling and Day played audience members during a NewsNation livestream event focused on AI where Kenan Thompson was in character as a tech mogul. As Gardner, 40 — acting as the show’s host — asked him questions, Thompson, 45, was continuously distracted by Gosling and Day looking like Beavis and Butt-Head.
When turning around to look at her costar, Gardner couldn’t help but start to giggle, which caused Gosling to laugh throughout the rest of the skit as well.

He was blowing on the bangs during [the] run through, and it was making everybody laugh.”
Gardner broke again during that sketch.
“Heidi, I’m going to single her out again. I think she was just giggly all week and she lost it,” Yang continued. “But it was so much fun.”
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright went from the Valley to the Capitol when they hit the White House Correspondents Dinner red carpet on Saturday, April 27.
Cartwright, 35, looked glamorous in a black, corseted strapless gown with matching full-length gloves, but she did not have her estranged husband on her arm. She and Taylor, 44, each walked the red carpet solo, just hours after they both attended the White House Correspondents’ Garden Brunch in Washington, D.C.
While they didn’t take photos together, they did sit next to each other. Taylor, who wore a black State and Liberty Clothing Co. suit, showed Cartwright via his Instagram Story and vice versa. They were guests of the Daily Mail.
The separated couple’s appearance comes one year after Ariana Madix made her post-Sandoval red carpet debut at the same event. Before Taylor and Cartwright joined Bravo’s The Valley, which debuted earlier this year, they were first introduced to audiences on Vanderpump Rules. Their 2019 wedding was filmed for the show one year before the duo announced their departure. They went on to expand their family with son Cruz, whom they welcomed in 2021.
Amid their small screen return, Taylor and Cartwright surprised fans when they announced their separation in February. However, Cartwright has made it clear that Taylor could win her back — if he makes changes.

An affinity for BCBG isn’t the only thing Aoki has inherited from Kimora. 48. Aoki shared that she’s attained “helpful” modeling advice from the former runway star.
“My mom was literally trying to coach me while I walked down the runway during the Sergio Hudson show,” Aoki told Us. “I walked by and she yelled, ‘SHOULDERS!’ Since I started my career, my mom has given me a lot of helpful advice, but I also appreciate the amount of space she has given me to make my own way. She’s allowing me to figure it out.”
Surprisingly owning the catwalk wasn’t always a priority for Aoki.

“I’m not sure I really understood what all was happening when I was so young and walking down the runway for the finale during Baby Phat shows,” Aoki shared, recalling when she’d close out shows as a kid with Ming and Kimora in the early 2000s. (Much of Aoki and Ming’s childhood was documented on Kimora’s reality TV series Life in the Fab Lane, which aired from 2007 to 2011.)
Kimora launched the lifestyle label in 1999 as an off-shoot of the men’s streetwear line, Phat Pharm, which then-husband Russell founded in 1992. Baby Phat ceased operations in 2010 but Kimora revived the brand in 2019.
“At the time it just seems natural and fun, but I’m also into nerdy stuff. I love school and learning, so getting an education was natural too,” Aoki continued. The young star made history when she graduated from Harvard at just 20, becoming the youngest Black woman to do so. She was only 16 when she was accepted.
Since getting her cap and gown, however, Aoki told Us she wants to prioritize modeling.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to work as a full-time model. I like to be constantly surrounded by so many creative people and to have the opportunity to collaborate on this level is not something I take for granted,” Aoki shared.

Danielle Brooks found a creative way to convey that she is making history at the 2024 Oscars.
The 34-year-old actress graced the red carpet on Sunday, March 10, wearing “26” on her nails. The number signifies that she is the 26th Black woman to ever be nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars.
Brooks wore the sentimentally detailed nails with a strapless black Dolce and Gabbana gown that featured a corset-like top, a deep thigh slit and a long train that splayed out to the side.
She wore her shoulder-length hair down and parted to the side. For glam, she sported black winged eyeliner, long lashes and dewy foundation.

“We can’t predict what’s going to happen but this would be a huge win, not just for me, but for all of the people involved [in the movie],” Brooks told the publication, adding, “I am super humbled, but there’s so many people that I want this for — especially because The Color Purple has left such a stamp on American cinema that I think it’s deserving of it.”

Rihanna, 36, and Rocky, 35, promoted Fenty Skin’s new Lux Balm in an Old Hollywood inspired commercial titled “Born to Steal: Yours, Mine, Ours,” via YouTube on Wednesday, February 28.
In the black-and-white short film, which investigates a style crime committed by Rihanna, the singer searches Rocky’s closet and picks out an oversized blazer to wear over her glamorous black dress. “Although the female’s choices are endless, she borrows from the male for her camouflage,” a narrator says as Rocky enters the room.
“Wait, did I hear something?” Rocky thinks to himself as he examines the area. Unable to see Rihanna hiding behind a closet door, he leaves.

Later in the ad, the narrator discovers that Rihanna is also a Lux Balm thief. As the couple enjoys a breakfast of pancakes, Rihanna pulls out the product. Thinking she pulled a fast one on Rocky, the rapper pulls out a Lux Balm of his own, proving that the item can be used by everyone.
“When I finally solved the case of my missing Lux Balm, I wasn’t surprised when she surfaced. Not so fast, baby, this one’s mine,” the narrator says as the video transitions to show Rocky giving the camera a wink.

West, 46, was spotted outside son Saint’s basketball game in Los Angeles on Friday, February 2. Dressed in all black, the rapper wore a hockey mask over his face. The mask resembled a similar one that Friday the 13th character Jason Voorhees has in the horror movies.
West shares Saint, 8, as well as daughters North, 10, and Chicago, 6, and youngest son Psalm, 4, with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The Boys star Erin Moriarty opened up about how the plastic surgery accusations are getting out of hand after Megyn Kelly‘s “disgustingly false” claims.
“This is something I truly never anticipated writing,” the actress, 29, wrote in a lengthy Instagram post on Friday, January 26. “We’re all subject to levels of bullying throughout our lives but I am horrified, and I felt that I deserved to take a second to address these things. I had no idea what was going on, to be honest, because I’ve had one of the most challenging weeks of my life.”
Moriarty — who plays Starlight/Annie on Prime Video’s dark superhero series The Boys — has been the subject of much social media speculation over recent weeks with plastic surgery speculation. The actress had posted some photos after some recent weight loss where she was clearly in full glam with strong contour and overlined lips — a departure from some of her more natural makeup looks. She said she expected the usual social media trolls to make their comments and move on.
“I specifically thought that as I emerge this period of time — so stressed that I BARELY been able to eat and sleep,” Moriarty explained. “I thought ok, I’m going to emerge this 10 pounds thinner and the verbal abuse/accusations will be flying — usually either drug use or just a flippant ‘eat a burger’ comment. You learn to become Teflon and move on. I had NO idea what was going on this time.”

The criticism of her looks took a much larger spotlight when Moriarty was used as an example of alleged extreme plastic surgery on Sirius XM’s The Megyn Kelly Show. She was shocked to see the January 17 segment. “To receive a message about a disgustingly false, counterproductive to the degree of being ironically misogynistic video of Megyn Kelly commenting on the manner — to learn the widespread nature of this has left me horrified,” Moriarty shared.
Kelly, 53, displayed what she called a “relatively recent” photo of Moriarty, claiming the photo was taken within the last year, and called her “a nice, beautiful, natural gal.” Then, she showed a more recent photo that she claimed was shocking, alleging she had “Kim Kardashian lips,” had altered her nose and cheeks.
“Look, I’m not against plastic surgery,” Kelly said. “This is something else. This is like a mental disorder. This is extreme. When you start off incredibly beautiful and you end up like a plastic Barbie version of a Kardashian.”
Moriarty noted the first photo shown wasn’t taken within the last year. “Megyn used a photo taken ‘a year ago’ according to her, that had in actuality been taken about a decade ago, before I was of LEGAL DRINKING AGE (I’m about to turn 30) as an example (maybe do some research that would take 30 seconds),” she said in her Instagram statement. “How utterly misinformed, inaccurate, and clickbait seeing people who we follow and consider to be informed is appalling.”

The photo in question appeared to be from the June 2016 Captain Fantastic premiere in Los Angeles. Moriarty had turned 22 just a few days prior. (It’s possible that Moriarty is confusing the premiere with when the movie was in production. She filmed her scenes in 2014 when she was 19 and 20.)
Moriarty went on to address the selfie she posted earlier this month that Kelly used for comparison (which has since been deleted from her social media). “I got my make up done that day and it involves major contouring and I remember leaving and feeling really pretty,” the actress said. “And even that day was an immensely stressful day for me. I came running to those girls, and I showed up in tears after what had happened that day, and I left feeling better simply because I felt like they had reduced my lack of sleep and worked their magic wands.”

Moriarty announced that she will leave Instagram, deleting all but a handful of posts. She’ll keep her account active so people can see her statement but “otherwise, consider it deactivated.” She added that this isn’t just because of Kelly, but the video seems to have been last straw for Moriarty.
“I an horrified by the reaction, the reductive assumptions, and the aforementioned video that is a primary example of such harassment,” she said. “It’s broken my heart. You’ve broken my heart. You’ve lost the privilege of this account. … The way that this has been spoken about, the way that I have been spoken to, I will not accept. I have been in a hole and I’ve been consumed by this personal situation at hand,” Moriarty explained. “You never know what someone is going through, social media is a platform that is not representative of a whole person, and [sic] irregardless, there is no excuse for the words that have been spoken directly to me or about me. Shame on you, Megyn Kelly.”
She concluded with one final dig at Kelly, “Implying that my photo is reflective of women being in a worse place is as false as my conviction in saying that if you resigned, you would be leaving women in a better place.”
Moriarty’s makeup artist, Makeup by Nelly, supported her in the comment section. “I love you Erin! You look beautiful with and without makeup on. I am the contour QUEEEEEN I guess because we made headlines bb🤍,” Nelly wrote. “It’s 2024 ladies and gents we must know what makeup can do nowadays. It shouldn’t be rocket science to figure that out. Stay strong and positive.”

Cassie’s rare outing comes after she made headlines in November 2023 for accusing her ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs of past sexual assault and abuse. She alleged in court documents first reported by The New York Times that Diddy forced her to have sex with “male sex workers” while “filming the encounters.” Cassie further claimed that Diddy “forced her into her home and raped her” in 2018.

Just one day after the lawsuit was filed, Cassie and Diddy settled. “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie told Us Weekly through her attorney Douglas Wigdor in a statement. “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”
Diddy also released a statement distributed by Wigdor: “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
Diddy’s lawyer, Ben Brafman, said that the settlement does not indicate that Diddy is guilty. “Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing,” Brafman shared in a statement to Us. “Mr. Combs‘ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”

The speed of the settlement was likely due to legal restrictions, according to attorney Neama Rahmani. “This has to be one of the fastest settlements in American history. We’re talking about one day,” Rahmani exclusively told Us, after taking a look at the case. “The reason that this lawsuit was settled was probably the reason that it was filed in the first place. Cassie ran out of time.”
The lawyer, who was not part of Cassie’s legal team, explained to Us that some of her allegations were “a little bit older,” meaning the statute of limitations had run out.
