  • Stefon Diggs Shares Cryptic Post Amid Cardi B Breakup Rumors, Pleads Not Guilty To Assault Allegation

Heartbreak, reflection, or just post-Super Bowl blues? Stefon Diggs sparked speculation this week after posting a cryptic Instagram carousel days after the Patriots’ loss to the Seahawks and amid rumors that his relationship with Cardi B has ended. Not only that, but the NFL wide receiver also made his first court appearance in connection with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault charges.

While Cardi B tours across the country virtually unfazed, Diggs is making cryptic posts online. According to PEOPLE, the wide receiver dropped a 20-slide post filled with motivational quotes, game day flicks, and subtle messages that fans believe hint at more than just football frustrations.

“Gratitude and Fear cannot coexist in the same space… a reminder to control what you can control, remain thankful and stay motivated,” he captioned the post, complete with crown and eight ball emojis. One slide read, “Luck didn’t bring me this far… God did.” Another stated, “The best way to appreciate something is to be without it for a while.”

Diggs also turned off comments on Instagram, which only fueled speculation.

The timing raised eyebrows because breakup rumors with girlfriend Cardi B began swirling just one day after the big game. Fans noticed the two appeared to unfollow each other shortly after the loss.

Cardi was in attendance at the Super Bowl, but not necessarily for Diggs. The rapper showed up to support Bad Bunny during his halftime performance. She was seen dancing alongside other celebrities inside the La Casita set piece. She later posted herself singing along from a car.

When asked at a Super Bowl party if she had an inspiring message for Diggs ahead of the game, Cardi simply said, “Good luck,” before walking away.

The couple first sparked dating rumors in Oct. 2024 and confirmed their relationship in June 2025. They welcomed their first child together in Nov. 2025, making the alleged social media unfollow even more noticeable.

Meanwhile, Diggs is also facing serious legal issues. As reported by USA Today, the wide receiver pleaded not guilty on Feb. 13 to felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a Dec. 2025 incident involving his former personal chef.

His attorney called the allegations false and said Diggs expects to be exonerated. The New England Patriots released a statement saying Diggs “categorically denies the allegations” and that the organization will cooperate with authorities.

  • Patriots QB Drake Maye rushes past Broncos to send New England to 12th Super Bowl

    [ad_1]

Third down, 5 yards to go, 2 minutes left in the game, near-blizzard raging. And what did New England quarterback Drake Maye do?

He skated for 7 yards and a game-clinching first down in the Patriots’ 10-7 victory in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game at Empower Field at Mile High.

In a game that ended with a 7-degree wind chill, the Patriots snowplowed their way to their 12th Super Bowl on a handful of crucial plays, many of them by Maye. He broke out of the pocket for six first downs, including a fourth-down play.

“Those long legs came in handy,” Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs said. “He was running around, stiff-arming guys. He was making plays at a high level. He was being smart. I think the biggest thing in a game like this is just being smart and not turning the ball over.”

Jarrett Stidham’s two critical turnovers doom Broncos in AFC Championship defeat to Patriots

The Patriots will now play the winner of Sunday night’s NFC Championship Game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8 in Santa Clara, California.

Maye completed just 10 of 21 passes for 86 yards, and he was sacked five times for 21 yards. But he carried the ball 10 times for 65 yards and ran for the Patriots’ only touchdown — a 6-yard sprint in the second quarter after the Patriots recovered a fumble by Denver QB Jarrett Stidham.

“It wasn’t ideal,” Maye said of the conditions. “But our defense, they’ve been stepping up all playoffs. We’re going to play better. But man, I’m just so proud of this team.”

Compare what Maye did to what the Broncos couldn’t do. They rushed for just 79 yards as a team and saw their season slip-slide away when they failed to get anything going in the second half.

“Tip our hats to New England,” Denver coach Sean Payton said. “It was a hard-fought game. We weren’t able to get it done, and it’s tough, especially in this game.”

A contingent of Patriots fans in Denver shouted “MVP! MVP!” when Maye took hold of the Lamar Hunt Trophy after the game.

“I was just trying to control the football,”  Maye said. “What an atmosphere out here. We battled the elements. Love this team. How about the defense? I love each and every one of them, man. Pats are back, baby.”

The game’s momentum changed with New England’s first drive of the second half. The Patriots ground out 64 yards on 16 plays and took 9:31 off the clock. The key play was Mayes’ 28-yard scramble on third-and-9. The drive ended with a 23-yard field goal by Andy Borregalles, which turned out to be the game-winner.

“Today was just another example of when things kind of change and unfold, our ability to adjust things,” coach Mike Vrabel said. “We did enough things in tough conditions to win the football game.

“When we got that field goal, our defense took it to them, and if they can’t score, it was going to be hard to win the football game, obviously.”

Regarding his quarterback, Vrabel said, “The great thing about Drake is his ability to extend plays. If it’s not there, he gains chunks. He’s done that most of the year.”

  • Broncos-Patriots scouting report: How will Sean Payton, Jarrett Stidham handle tricky New England defense?

    [ad_1]

    Patriots (16-3) at Broncos (15-3)

    When: 1 p.m. Sunday

Where: Empower Field at Mile High

    TV: KCNC-4

    Radio: 850 AM, 94.1 FM

Broncos-Patriots series: There’s some great, not-so-ancient playoff history here, between two franchises that will forever be tied to the names Manning and Brady. The last time Denver and New England faced off in the playoffs was the AFC title game after the 2015 season, as a fading Peyton Manning mustered just enough — 176 yards and two touchdowns — to put the Patriots away 20-18. Broncos cornerback Bradley Roby picked off a 2-point conversion try from Tom Brady to Julian Edelman to seal the win. Denver’s also 27-23 in all-time regular-season matchups against the Patriots.

In the spotlight: Patriots defensive play-caller Zak Kuhr ‘keeps the dial spinning’

Two weeks ago, after New England made Pro Bowler Justin Herbert look like a Pop Warner flameout in a 16-3 win over Los Angeles, Chargers players came up to linebacker Robert Spillane and told him they had “no clue” what coverage the Patriots were in all game. At least, by Spillane’s own admission.

Now, the Chargers fired offensive coordinator Greg Roman a couple of days later, so that might’ve had something to do with it. But this is the evident genius of New England defensive play-caller Zak Kuhr.

“He keeps the dial spinning,” Spillane said after New England’s wild-card win. “He keeps offenses guessing. All year, he’s been doing that.

“For him just to be able to build those packages throughout the week, our back-end players to know how to disguise the different defenses, really keeps quarterbacks guessing,” the linebacker continued a few words later.

Enter Jarrett Stidham, a quarterback with four career NFL starts who has Patriots defenders now guessing as to what exactly he’s capable of.

“Nothing,” said New England defensive tackle Milton Williams in the Patriots’ locker room this week, when asked what he knew about Stidham. “Nothing. I ain’t gonna lie, nothing. We’re gonna watch the tape on him and figure out what he like to do, but, they didn’t like him over Bo, so.”

    Shrug.

Cardi B is calmly reacting to THAT leaked recording of her estranged husband allegedly threatening to shoot her new boo “in the knee” seemingly to derail his Patriots-playing career.

Her comments come just one month after a suspicious video of her estranged husband, Offset, sprawled out in bed with infamous Instagram model Celina Powell, went viral and sent social media into detective mode. It also comes on the heels of a new video leaked by Powell in which Offset threatened to shoot the rapper’s baby daddy in the “knee.”

During an X Spaces session on January 12, Cardi made it clear that fans waiting for a fiery response to the drama shouldn’t hold their breath. Instead, she revealed that the viral clips actually gave her something unexpected: clarity.

“A lot of people been waiting for some type of response. Actually, no. Is the total opposite. I’m actually thankful for certain information. I’ve been expressing to people behind the scenes that somebody is using different people as a mouthpiece to spread misinformation about me, about my relationship, and various different platforms,” the mother of three said during the X Spaces session, according to a video shared by BardisMedia on Jan. 12.

Cardi B claimed she was “getting harassed” by someone who was determined to spread lies about her career and personal life.

The “Up” hitmaker went on to allege that she had been “getting harassed” by someone for “a very long time,” claiming the “obsessed” individual was determined to tear her down. Still, Cardi told fans she refused to let the chaos distract her from what really mattered: her career and her upcoming tour.

“A lot of crazy, weird things has been happening behind the scenes, just like sometimes, like I even have nightmares, because when somebody is this obsessed with you and wants to ruin you, you don’t know what they want from you—not caring about them, not bothering them, and they still bothering you. It freaks you out,” the Bronx native admitted before pivoting to business.

“Let’s talk about my tour. Things are turning out beautifully, and I want my fans to not ever get discouraged. Because this is what motherf–ers do. They try to plant a seed, hoping that it grow to discourage people to not like my music, not want to buy things for my tour, but everything is coming out great, and I don’t know how many times they’re gonna be tired of having egg in ya’ll f—ing face.”

Celina Powell said the NSFW video with Offset was made as collateral for the money he allegedly owed her. Shared video of him threatening to shoot Stefon Diggs in the “knee.”

Naturally, Cardi B’s comments reignited conversation online, especially given the timing. As previously reported, on Dec. 2, 2025, Celina Powell, known for her headline-grabbing antics, posted a video of herself in bed with Offset. The clip showed the rapper fast asleep as Powell repeatedly zoomed in on his face, seemingly determined to document her suspicious rendezvous with the hitmaker. Offset, however, appeared fast asleep and completely unaware of the recording.

In the caption, Powell hinted that more had gone on than just napping.

“Made a tape last night & all u heard was him in the video lol Offset you sleepy boy,” she wrote.

Then, in January, Powell escalated matters with another explosive claim involving the former Migos rapper. In a now-deleted Instagram Story, she alleged that Offset had threatened to shoot Cardi B’s boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs, and that he refused to repay a $15,000 sum she said he owed her.

“If ANYTHING happens to me, OFFSET did it!” Powell wrote, according to a Jan. 10 post shared by The Shade Room. “Tired of this grown man threatening me almost every day and got me living in fear cuz he owes me $15K+ I tried to get my money back for weeks, and all I’ve gotten is threats…”

The InstaBaddie also shared a video that captured Offset on a FaceTime call with her, threatening to “beat,” “strip,” and shoot Diggs in the “knee.”

Powell later expanded on those allegations during an appearance on the 2 Girls From Mars podcast earlier this month. Speaking with host Milian Millie, she detailed what she described as a three-week whirlwind involving Offset, which allegedly ended with her owing $15,000. She claimed the rapper, amid his divorce from Cardi B, was financially struggling and emotionally spiraling, even referencing a video of him allegedly ranting about wanting to shoot Stefon Diggs.

According to Powell, she agreed to meet Offset at a casino with hundreds of dollars taken from her safe, money she says totaled $15,000, but never got it back. The controversial bed video, she claimed, was posted as collateral after she was left unpaid.

So, what exactly is going on here? We’re still trying to piece it all together. Thoughts?

Trap Celina strikes again…or did she get trapped? Celina Powell is still exposing Offset for allegedly threatening to shoot Cardi B’s baby daddy, Stefon Diggs, and getting the pillow talk tattler jumped over $15,000 he owes her.

    Source: Paras Griffin/Thaddeus McAddams/Kathryn Riley

On Instagram, Celina claimed, “If ANYTHING happens to me, OFFSET did it!” After the shocking clips and receipts she revealed, fans suspect the same is true about Stefon. In another post, she added, “Tired of this grown man threatening me almost everyday and got me living in fear cuz he owes me $15K+ I tried to get my money back for weeks and all I’ve gotten is threats…”

IKYFL! It’s giving that the “Handsome & Wealthy” days are long gone. We knew more mess was probably coming after Celina put Offset on blast after she “put him to sleep,” but this is wild, even for the WikiLeaks of sneaky links.

As BOSSIP previously reported, Celina caught Offset slipping with a now-deleted video of them in bed together. This is nothing new for Celina, who previously exposed celebs like Akon and Snoop Dogg. However, it was a wild choice for Offset to seemingly hook up with the woman who already faked a pregnancy with him while he was still with soon-to-be ex-wife, Cardi B.

In the days since the viral video, Celina went all in to call out Offset about a $15,000 debt. Why and how was Trap Celina the one tricking and getting trapped in this entanglement?

Well, Celina spilled all the tea about what went down with Offset, his baby mama/daddy drama, and the alleged threats and restraining order against him.

See what Celina Powell said about the Offset saga in her own words after the flip!

Celina Powell Reveals How Offset Got Her $15K & Kept Begging For More Before She Exposed The Video Of Him

No matter how bad you think Offset’s sneaky link with Celina Powell was, she claims it was worse! On her 2 Girls From Mars podcast, she told co-host Milian Millie all about her three-week whirlwind with Offset. She revealed how down bad he is amid his divorce from Cardi B and a video of the rapper crashing out about wanting to shoot Stefon Diggs.

In an episode titled “Offset Robbed Celina Powell *Receipts*,” she revealed that something was suspicious from his random first IG call at 4 a.m. Not only did they have past beef, but she says the conversation began with him asking her how much money she has. She said he called the task “a test” of her loyalty. Flag on the play!

Celina said she agreed to meet Offset at a casino with all the hundreds in her safe, which added up to $15,000. What part of the game is this? She went back to sleep at home after he “lost it all,” only to show texts of him asking for more money hours later.

    Don’t do it! Reconsider!

Celina Powell Says Offset Continued Asking For More Money While He Gave Another Woman Multiple Bags: “He’s Pimping Me!”

For their next link at a hotel, Celina claims he tried to make her pay for the room and his Uber to meet her. Following that hookup, she recorded the now-viral video of Offset sleeping. However, she swore she had no plans to expose him until he continued to play with her money. In fact, it was the “Clout” star’s idea that he suggested as collateral for paying Celina back.

In the OnlyFans creator’s mind, that was “her man,” so she let the steep debt slide with the E&J-drinking deviant. She revealed screenshots of him only reaching out to her on Christmas Eve to demand more money on PayPal. Celina also showed a screen recording from Offset’s finsta with his children playing with racks of cash, so she still somehow expected to be next on Santa’s list.

Instead, the model saw Offset lavish another woman with four Birkin bags and diamonds. “Oh, my God! He’s like pimping me,” Celina said, realizing she’s “paying for sex” while Offset spoiled someone else.

See how Celina’s Offset saga turned into threats about shooting Stefon Diggs in the knee, bankruptcy, and eight-figure losses after the jump!

Celina Powell’s Video Shows Offset Talking About Getting Stefon Diggs “Shot In The Knee”

Several hookups later, Celina still didn’t secure the bag, but she claimed dinero demands from her “man” kept coming. When confronted about the missing Kiari coins and all the flexing online, she said Offset admitted he’s taking more Ls than Drake, both in and out of the casino.

The conversation turned to Offset’s personal drama, and he called Cardi’s newborn with Stefon “a bastard,” according to Celina. She also announced the “breaking news” that “Cardi has a restraining order against Offset,” and he isn’t allowed to talk to the kids. He allegedly uses calls from his other daughter as a workaround to find out what Cardi’s eldest, Kulture, says about the baby and Stefon.

The most damning revelation is a recording of Offset saying, “If I catch [Stefon], it’s going to be bad. I’m talking beat, strip, shot in the knee, all types of s**t,” he allegedly said about a career-ending attack.

Celina Puts Offset On Blast For Going Bankrupt Amid Divorce & Losing $800K While Trying To Win It Back Gambling

When Celina finally got an explanation about her money, she said Offset spent $10 million of the $13 million he had to get out of his Quality Control label contract.

“Then Cardi hit him with the divorce… and then he owes $2 million in taxes, and he’s about to file for bankruptcy,” she continued, explaining that he’s gambling nonstop to try to get his money back. Instead, Celina said he sent her proof he “lost $800,000” gambling after he repeatedly gave her the runaround.

On top of taking that loss, she claimed “Offset’s girlfriend” and two other women jumped Celina’s friend, Jordyn, at a NYE party. The two co-hosts speculated that Offset set up the whole fight, which Jordyn also alleged.

Milian and Celina also floated theories that Offset only set this series of shenanigans in motion with Celina because he knew she would expose him and make him relevant again. They also wondered whether the long-lost $15,000 was revenge for the fake pregnancy scandal five years ago. Even if Offset got the last laugh from the free promotion, he’d better hope Trap Celina doesn’t team up with his Trap Selena ex, Cardi.

  • Stefon Diggs Speaks For First Time Since Felony Strangulation & Assault Charges: ‘Very Emotional Time’

    [ad_1]

The holiday season is usually about counting blessings, but for Stefon Diggs, the start of 2026 is looking more like a lesson in how quickly things can go south when your private business hits the public docket. The NFL star is currently navigating a legal hurricane as Stefon Diggs’ allegations of a felony strangulation charge have turned the focus from the field to the courtroom.

    Source: Kathryn Riley / Getty

The details of the case, which emerged after a Dec. 30 hearing in Dedham District Court, revealed the dangers of mixing professional service with personal proximity. As BOSSIP previously reported, a woman hired as Diggs’ personal chef for the duration of the season alleges that a confrontation over unpaid wages on Dec. 2 turned violent. The woman claims that during a discussion about money she was owed for a week in November, Diggs became enraged, allegedly slapping her across the face before positioning himself behind her and using the “crook of his elbow” to choke her.

The narrative in the police filing is chilling, with the accuser stating she felt she had trouble breathing and was on the verge of blacking out before Diggs allegedly threw her onto a bed and dismissed her claims of being unpaid. According to CBS News, Diggs addressed the media for the first time on Friday, looking visibly weary as he apologized for his recent absence and described the situation as a “very emotional time.” However, he made it clear he was strictly focused on football, repeatedly asking reporters, “Is that a football question?” when they tried to pivot to his legal woes.

Diggs’ legal team, led by David Meier, is standing behind their client’s innocence. Meier released a statement asserting that Stefon Diggs’ allegations are “unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated—because they did not occur.” According to TMZ, the defense is leaning heavily into the narrative that this is a financial dispute gone wrong, pointing out that the accuser was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement before receiving her final payment, a request she reportedly refused.

Stefon Diggs’ Allegations Aren’t The Only Allegations Plaguing The Patriots

As if one star in the hot seat wasn’t enough for the Patriots to handle, the locker room is dealing with a double-dose of legal drama. While the headlines are dominated by Stefon Diggs’ allegations, defensive tackle Christian Barmore is also facing the music for a domestic assault and battery charge. In a separate incident, Barmore allegedly threw his pregnant girlfriend to the floor during an argument that reportedly started because the air conditioner was set to 70 degrees instead of his preferred 68.

Barmore, much like Diggs, avoided media inquiries with a steady, “I’m focused on Miami” as the team prepares for their final regular-season game. Both players share the same attorney, which means David Meier is currently the busiest man in Massachusetts, trying to keep his clients on the turf and out of jail.

Diggs’ arraignment is currently scheduled for Jan. 23, shortly following the AFC Championship Game. While his attorneys are pushing to move that date to March to avoid a postseason distraction, the court of public opinion is already in session.

  • Stefon Diggs Breaks His Silence Following Strangulation Allegations From Former Private Chef (VIDEOS)

    [ad_1]

Stefon Diggs is speaking out after his former private chef accused him of strangulation. As The Shade Room previously reported, Diggs now faces criminal charges, including felony strangulation, suffocation, and misdemeanor assault and battery, all tied to an incident that reportedly went down on Dec. 2.

RELATED: Yikes! Stefon Diggs’ Lawyer And New England Patriots Respond To His Strangulation Charges

Stefon Diggs Addresses Alleged Strangulation Accusations From Former Private Chef

The NFL star chopped it up exclusively with reporters inside the New England Patriots locker room on Friday, Jan. 2. He kicked things off by apologizing for being MIA the past few days. He admitted it’s been a tough time and said he couldn’t get into much about the case. “It’s been a very emotional time.. taken back by some things that’s been going on. It’s definitely an open case so he can’t say anything about it.”

When it comes to football, Stefon Diggs said he plans to keep putting in work and finish the season strong. “Regarding football I’m going to continue to be the guy I’ve been. Trying to finish the season off strong.” In more footage CBS News shared from his interview, Diggs added that he’s been leaning on his family and his team during this time.

“We all deal with life stuff, family stuff, being a football team is hard. You band together, you lean on your brothers, you lean on your people that you spend the most time with,” Diggs continued.

    More About Diggs’ Charges

News about Stefon Diggs’ charges dropped at the end of 2025. On Dec. 16, his former personal chef filed a police report, accusing Diggs of assault and trying to choke her. According to TMZ, she said Diggs stormed into her bedroom on Dec. 2, got angry during a conversation, and slapped her. She said the argument escalated following a text convo about money she claimed he owed her. When she tried to push him away, she said he grabbed her neck and tightened his grip. She added that she struggled to breathe and feared she might pass out.

She told police she didn’t take any photos of her purported injuries but her upper chest area was red. At the time of the incident, she said she didn’t receive her monthly paycheck. She began working for Diggs in July, with the gig planned to run through the 2025 NFL season. They originally agreed on weekly pay, but reportedly later switched it to a monthly schedule.

Stefon’s Lawyer & New England Patriots React To Allegations

After the allegations against Stefon Diggs surfaced, his lawyer David Meier emailed the Associated Press, saying the football player “categorically denies these allegations.” Additionally, Meier called the claims unsubstantiated and uncorroborated.

“The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear: they are the direct result of an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction,” Attorney Meier wrote.

The New England Patriots also spoke out, saying they stand by Diggs while adding that they planned to fully cooperate with authorities and the NFL.

  • NFL Playoffs Near as Patriots’ Stefon Diggs Faces Felony Charge

    [ad_1]

Manhattan criminal-defense attorney Mark Bederow said the lack of corroborating evidence in the case against Stefon Diggs “will impact the witness’ credibility,” predicting the case could end without a trial

New England Patriots Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs is facing a felony charge of strangulation or suffocation and a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery stemming from an alleged December 2 incident at his home in Dedham, Massachusetts. Diggs also welcomed a child with rapper Cardi B in November 2025.

According to the police report (Diggs moved to have the report impounded and was rejected by the judge), a woman identified as Diggs’ private chef, Mila Adams, told Dedham police she began working for him in July 2025 under an agreement for weekly pay, which later shifted to monthly salary arrangements. She said Diggs later told her her services were not needed for a week, forcing her to leave her room in the residence while other guests remained, and without airfare to travel home. Adams said she was still owed roughly one month’s pay.

Adams told police that on December 2, during an argument over the unpaid money, Diggs entered her unlocked bedroom after a disagreement, struck her across the face, and placed his arm around her neck from behind, restricting her breathing, tightening his grip as she tried to pull away, and then threw her onto a bed before leaving the room. She reported redness on her upper chest afterward, but did not take photos of her injuries.

Adams initially reported the incident to police on December 16 but declined to press charges. After returning to the home to collect her belongings and speaking with Diggs’ assistant, who she said asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement before being paid, Adams changed her mind and on December 23 asked police to pursue criminal charges. Police said they planned to apply for criminal complaints charging Diggs with assault and strangulation or suffocation, and noted that multiple attempts to contact Diggs went unanswered.

Diggs’ attorney, Michael DiStefano, appeared remotely in Dedham District Court and had asked a judge to have the police report impounded, arguing the details should remain sealed-his request was denied. He also confirmed that Diggs had made a financial offer to the alleged victim, and the judge said she would consider that request.

“Stefon Diggs categorically denies these allegations. They are unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated — because they did not occur. The timing and motivation for making the allegations is crystal clear: they are the direct result of an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction. Stefon looks forward to establishing the truth in a court of law,” DiStefano stated.

The New England Patriots have also voiced their support for Diggs. “The New England Patriots are aware of the accusations that have been made regarding Stefon Diggs. Stefon has informed the organization that he categorically denies the allegations. We support Stefon. We will continue to gather information and will cooperate fully with the appropriate authorities and the NFL as necessary. Out of respect for all parties involved, and given that this is an ongoing legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time.”

Diggs is scheduled to be arraigned on January 23, 2026, though the judge is considering postponing the arraignment until March.

Outside legal experts say several factors outlined in the police report could be central to how prosecutors evaluate the strength of the case, including the delay in reporting, the absence of documented injuries, and the underlying wage dispute. Manhattan-based criminal defense attorney Mark Bederow, who is not involved in the case, said those elements are frequently scrutinized by judges and juries in domestic assault prosecutions.

“In these circumstances, the delay in reporting, the lack of injuries and photographs and the fact this is at its core a dispute over money bodes very well for Diggs as it will impact the witness’s credibility,” Bederow said.

Bederow added that discussions around payment or settlement, which were referenced in court, are not unusual in cases rooted in employment disputes and do not, by themselves, establish wrongdoing.

“Working out a payment will not implicate him. It shows both parties’ motive to resolve the matter and would likely impact the credibility of the complainant more than Diggs,” he said.

Bederow also noted that timing can play a role in how quickly such cases resolve, particularly when defendants face professional and reputational consequences outside the courtroom.

“Diggs also has another incentive to pay what she claims he owes her: the playoffs start in two weeks and he and the Patriots want this behind him,” Bederow said.

Based on his experience handling high-profile criminal cases, Bederow said he would be surprised if the matter proceeded to a full trial.

“I would be shocked if this case went on for a long time and ended up in a trial. In fact, I would expect it to be over very quickly after the two parties come to a financial agreement.”

  • Stefon Diggs Charged With Felony Strangulation & Assault By Former Employee, NFL Star ‘Categorically Denies’ Allegations

    [ad_1]

Stefon Diggs has a lot more than playoffs to worry about in the coming months.

    Source: Scott Taetsch / Getty

The New England Patriots star is facing charges of felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery. According to CBS Boston, this is in connection to an incident that happened on Dec. 2.

Diggs’ attorneys appeared in court on Tuesday, Dec. 30, after paperwork was filed in Dedham District Court.

Diggs is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, Jan. 23, for his arraignment—just two days before the AFC Championship Game.

According to reports from TMZ, the person accusing Diggs is his former personal chef, who claims the NFL player slapped her and tried to choke her out over a salary dispute.

Per the incident report, the female employee first went to the police on Dec. 16, claiming she was working as a private chef on Dec. 2 when Diggs entered her unlocked bedroom to discuss an ongoing text exchange between the two over money she believed she was owed.

During the conversation, she says Diggs became angry and smacked her across the face, and when she attempted to push him away, he allegedly “tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck.”

The former employee claims the Patriots player was behind her with his arm wrapped around her, per TMZ, and she felt like she had trouble breathing and “could have blacked out.” She claims Diggs then threw her onto her bed and said something along the lines of “Thought so.”

The woman told police that she explained to Diggs she still hadn’t been paid, but he said, “Lies” and walked out of the room. When asked about injuries she may have sustained, the woman claimed she had redness on her upper chest area, but did not take pictures.

TMZ reports that she told cops she started working for Diggs in July, and she was supposed to work for him throughout the 2025 season. While she was allegedly supposed to be paid weekly, it was switched to monthly instead, and she had not received a month’s pay at the time of the incident.

“The New England Patriots are aware of the accusations that have been made regarding Stefon Diggs,” the Patriots said in a statement. “Stefon has informed the organization that he categorically denies the allegations. We support Stefon. We will continue to gather information and will cooperate fully with the appropriate authorities and the NFL as necessary. Out of respect for all parties involved, and given that this is an ongoing legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time.”

This news comes as New England prepares to finish off its 2025 regular season at home against the Miami Dolphins. The Patriots already clinched a spot in the NFL playoffs by winning the AFC East, and could still capture the No. 1 seed if they beat Miami and the Denver Broncos lose to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Diggs is currently in the first year of a three-year contract with the Pats worth $69 million.

The charges stem from an incident that happened on December 2 in Dedham. No additional details are currently available.

A motion hearing was held in the case on Tuesday.

    Stefon Diggs denies allegations

The Patriots told WBZ-TV in a statement that they’re “aware of the accusations” regarding Diggs.

“Stefon has informed the organization that he categorically denies the allegations. We support Stefon. Diggs is scheduled to be in court on Friday, January 23 for arraignment.

If the Patriots were to advance in the NFL playoffs, the AFC Championship Game is scheduled for Sunday, January 25.

    Who is Stefon Diggs?

Diggs, who played at the University of Maryland in college, signed with the Patriots in March on a three-year, $69 million deal with $26 million guaranteed.

Quickly recovering from a torn ACL he suffered last year with the Houston Texans, Diggs has become a critical piece for quarterback Drake Maye and the Patriots offense.

In 16 games, Diggs has 970 yards and 82 receptions to go along with four touchdowns.

Before the season began, Diggs made headlines when a viral video showed him partying on a boat and handing out an unknown substance.

“I had a conversation with [Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel], obviously. He told me he hopes everyone is making good decisions,” Diggs said in June after the incident. “I had some conversations with people in the building as well. Everything else is everything else. The particulars are all internal.”

Diggs is dating rapper Cardi B, who recently announced that she was having a baby with the wide receiver. The baby was born in November.

Diggs previously played for the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills and Texans.

Diggs’ attorneys are seeking to impound paperwork, which would keep it sealed from the public. WBZ-TV legal analyst Jennifer Roman said she would be surprised if that happens.

“Those types of motions when you’re talking about somebody who has the kind of star power that Stefon Diggs has are not usually granted because we do have a public interest in these very public figures,” Roman said. “So much of their life is already public, there’s not really this heavy privacy interest here. So I would be surprised if the judge allowed the defense motion to impound this file and keep it out of the public purview, but it is a possibility.”

    [ad_1]

    • Cardi B pleads with fans to stop over-analyzing her relationship with Stefon Diggs.
    • Cardi has to focus on her upcoming tour, which requires extensive rehearsals away from her family.
    • Stefon Diggs has children with other women, causing fans to question Cardi’s relationship.

In a video posted to X on Monday, Dec. 29, the Bronx native pleaded with fans to stop raking her over the coals for her relationship with Stefon Diggs. This response comes after the New England Patriots player posted about spending Christmas with his other children, despite having just welcomed a child with Cardi.

“Y’all need to calm down,” Cardi began, laying in bed while recording herself.

“Y’all been dragging me for three or four days, and y’all been a little too mean,” she said, laughing. “I can’t change s**t. I can’t go back in time. I already had a baby. Y’all want me to put my baby back in my p***y? You want me to leave my man and f**k yours? What y’all want me to do? We can only go forward now.”

The rapper went on to emphasize that she has “so much work to do” starting in January, which includes 10- to 12-hour rehearsals for her upcoming tour.

“I’m gonna be away from my babies, away from my personal life, away from my home … I need my support system, my fans, to love me,” the former reality star added. “I want y’all to come to my tour and enjoy yourselves with me. Don’t be dragging me. That’s enough!”

“Leave me alone, though,” she concluded. “Damn. Y’all scare me sometimes!”

Cardi B’s video comes as her fans continue to question her relationship with Diggs. The wide receiver posted photos of himself spending Christmas with two different babies, confirming the paternity of one of the children.

“One of my boys first Christmas,” he captioned one, seemingly confirming prior reports that he’d fathered children with two other women within months of welcoming his son with Cardi in November.

As for the rapper, she shared photos from her Christmas celebrations with their son, as well as her other children — 7-year-old daughter Kulture, 4-year-old Wave, and 1-year-old daughter Blossom — whom she shares with estranged husband Offset. Diggs commented on his famous girlfriend’s post, writing, “Miss yaw!!! Don’t be squeezing him too tight you making him soft.”

Cardi’s friend, Ken Barbie, also took to social media to explain the situation, insisting fans need to calm down while addressing their relationship and separate children.

“Cardi has her own kids, Stefon does too,” the blogger tweeted on Saturday. “If baby moms are on some ‘my kids can’t come unless I’m there’ then that’s just what it is but my nieces and nephews ain’t gonna be around it.”

“There’s no secrets, no surprises,” he continued. “They’re still a fairly new couple, so s**t would just have to be figured over time. It is what it is.”

Regardless of all the backlash, Cardi is carrying on as normal, continuing to support her man. After their separate Christmases, on Sunday, Dec. 28,, she attended the New England Patriots vs. New York Jets game to cheer on her man, whose team beat the Jets 42-10.

  • Pat(ernity) Nation! Stefon Diggs Spends Christmas Without Cardi B & Son Brim, Holiday Hard-Launches 2 Babies With Different Baddies

    [ad_1]

Social media joked Stefon Diggs is doing Nick Cannon numbers after he posted three babies’ first Christmas photos, and none of them were Baby Jesus in a manger. Stefon said he missed Cardi B & their newborn Brim, but the fertile footballer still had his hands full as a father, seemingly confirming paternity of two other infants.

    Source: Elsa / Getty

If there’s any couple we expected to give matching pajamas PDA for the holiday, it’s Cardi and Stefon, but the lovebirds weren’t together. The “Bodega Baddie” hilariously went viral with a recap of the Christmas trees dedicated to each of her children while she joked about having “500 kids.” Stefon caused even more chatter after he holiday hard-launched not one, but two babies, for their first Christmas as well. If you’re keeping count, that’s almost an infinity guantlet’s worth of infants.

Stefon Diggs Spends Christmas On Baby Daddy Duty With Two Other Newborns

The proud father took to Instagram Story to share some cute moments with two of his celebrity seeds. In one photo, the Patriots player stands next to a decked-out Christmas tree with an adorable baby boy in his arms. “One of my boys’ first Christmas,” Stefon captioned the photo.

He shares his mini-me with InstaModel K’yanna Barber (aka @4theloveofKJ), who famously inspired Drake’s “Kiki, do you love me?” lyrics on “In My Feelings.” KB reposted a close-up of the cutie on her Instagram Story as well.

In another adorable Diggs family photo, the wide receiver snuggled up to a baby girl in a festive pink bow headband that matches her outfit. The seven-month-old sweetheart is the daughter Stefon reportedly shares with Instagram model Cayy Benji (aka @cayy.benji), whom Lil Uzi Vert also named a song after in 2019. Cayy also posted Christmas morning cuteness with her older sons and her baby girl on her Instagram Story.

Stop the count! Hit the flip for a recap of Stefon Diggs’ children and how Cardi B spent Christmas without him.

Move Over, Nick Cannon! Stefon Diggs’ Seemingly Fathered Four Babies In 2025

Cardi B gave birth to her first child with Stefon in November, just a few months after the celebrity couple went public. Fans knew Cardi came with three children from her estranged marriage to Offset and Stefon’s daughter Nova was born in 2016. However, some are shocked that he appears to have three new branches on the family tree besides Belcalis’ baby boy, Brim.

While Diggs’ home and social media was full of baby blessings, he showed love to Cardi and their son with another post. “Miss yaw!!! Don’t be squeezing him too tight and make him soft,” he joked in the caption with a smirking emoji.

Social media slueths have been trying to pin down the timeline of all this incessant insemination and prolific pregnancies. KB has been pretty private, mainly posting her older son except on her Instagram Story.

Cayy recently revealed her stunning maternity shoot.

She also celebrated her daughter’s first six months with a photo shoot.

In addition to them, another baby recently entered the villa! Instagram model Aileen Lopera aka Lord Giselle filed a paternity suit against Stefon in December 2024. As BOSSIP previously reported, a DNA test confirmed that Stefon fathered Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, born in April 2025.

Stefon’s other two children appeared to arrive in the few months between Charliee and Brim, making him a very busy dad. Critics have plenty comments about the unsheathed shenanigans that led to this barrage of babies, but at least it looks like he isn’t fumbling fatherhood.

It’s unclear whether baby Charliee joined in on the first Christmas festivities at Stefon’s house as well, but Aileen made sure the little princess had a winter wonderland based on her family photo.

Cardi B’s Over-The-Top Christmas With Trees Dedicated To Each Child

Four children under 1-year-old is wild work, but this isn’t Cardi’s first rodeo with a man who has other children. She appeared to embrace Offset’s three children from previous relationships as her own and loves being a mother. She also clapped back at the chatter about new baby mamas entering the chat amid the parernity suit scandal. If she and Steffon go the Brady Bunch route for next year, they might need a bigger house bacause Cardi famously decorates Christmas trees to suit each child’s personality.

This year, she showed off a polar bear and cubs centerpiece to represent the “mama bear” energy Cardi embodied. Kulture’s, 7, Labubu tree featured a doll Cardi said she spent months trying to find. Wave, 4, switched from Spider Man to Sonic The Hedgehog. Baby girl Bloosom, 1, got a pretty in pink Minnie Mouse tree. For baby Brim, it was all about the Pats and football with a figurine of Stefon.

In a family photo, the “Pretty & Petty” rapper hilariously kept it real that “the perfect Christmas picture doesn’t exist in this house.” While Cardi’s arms were full with 7-week-old Brim, big sis Kulture held baby a crying baby Bloossom. Wave was happy in his own world on a polar bear cub big enough for him to ride.

It seems Stefon can keep that same Christmas energy with “the best house on the block!” He noted the dazzling display is a childhood dream come true because “I ain’t have all this growing up.” Fortunately, he can provide that magic for his many, many offspring.

  • Preciousness: Celebrities Who Welcomed Babies In 2025

    [ad_1]

Source: Taylor Hill / Noam Galai

The year 2025 saw a heartfelt wave of new beginnings in celebrity families, with many Black public figures embracing parenthood and sharing moments of profound joy and bliss with their new bundles of joy. Let’s look at some of the notable arrivals and what these stars have shared about their journeys into motherhood.

Cardi B & Stefon Diggs: Welcoming Their Baby Boy (Nov. 4, 2025)

Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B capped off 2025 with the announcement that she and NFL star Stefon Diggs had welcomed their first child together — a baby boy — on Nov. 4. Cardi, already a mother to three children (Kulture, Wave, and Blossom), shared her joy on Instagram with photos that captured her and Diggs cradling and staring in awe at their newborn son, whose name has yet to be announced.

“11/4,” the rapper captioned the photo carousel she posted Nov. 19.

Cardi spoke about the joy of expanding her family back in September during an interview with Gayle King. The rapper gushed about her romance with Diggs and said their support for one another has been crucial throughout their relationship.

“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” Cardi B said during the Sept. 17 interview. “I’m happy … I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

    The rapper continued:

“Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers. I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do. And me and him, think the same way. ‘Yeah, you’re one of the greatest, but what’s next. What are we doing again? We have to do it again, all the time.’ We’re never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going…and that’s just what we are.”

Jasmine Tookes & Juan David Borrero: Son Mateo (Oct. 28, 2025)

On Oct. 28, model and entrepreneur Jasmine Tookes, with husband Juan David Borrero, welcomed their son Mateo Ira Borrero.

Tookes, who walked down the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway weeks prior, donning her big baby bump, shared black-and-white family photos on Instagram, captioning the moment with “The greatest blessing,” a simple yet profound reflection on motherhood and family life.

The carousel captured her cradling Mateo and her daughter, Mia, born in 2023, playing around as they smiled and spent precious family time together.

Celebs in the fashion world poured into the model’s comments section, sending love and congratulations.

“Blessings…happy to continue to see you in Bliss,” wrote legendary model Bethann Hardison.

Runway icon Naomi Campbell penned, “Congratulations on your new bundle of joy.”

While makeup and beauty legend Pat McGrath commented, “CONGRATULATIONS. Sending LOVE.”

Cori Broadus: A Fragile but Beautiful Arrival For Her Baby Daughter (Feb. 28, 2025)

Cori Broadus, daughter of legendary rapper Snoop Dogg, welcomed her baby girl on Feb. 28 with her fiancé Wayne Deuce. The baby’s arrival came three months early due to a severe pregnancy complication known as HELLP syndrome. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the serious pregnancy complication happens when hemolysis is triggered (red blood cells break down), liver enzymes become elevated, and low platelets occur, often linked to severe preeclampsia but sometimes occurring without it. It could be fatal if left untreated.

Broadus delivered via emergency C-section at just 25 weeks, sharing a deeply emotional Instagram announcement that thanked both medical teams and God for their support. Although the early birth was unexpected, she celebrated her daughter’s safe arrival, openly discussing the anxiety, gratitude, and faith intertwined in her birth experience.

“The princess arrived at 6 months,” she captioned a photo of her daughter’s foot. “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what, God always shows me that He got me! Baby girl came at 25 weeks today, and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far.”

The new mom thanked her care team for treating her HELLP syndrome and urged pregnant moms to always listen to their bodies if they feel something is off.

“[The] doctors told me thank you for coming and if I would’ve waited a few more days, it would’ve been really bad,” she said in an Instagram story. “Ladies, please listen to your bodies and don’t believe everything you see on TikTok ( talking to myself lowkey).”

Cori recently took to Instagram in September with her daughter to support mothers for National NICU Day, which raises awareness about prematurity and supports the challenges that NICU families face.

Skai Jackson: Son Kasai (Jan. 26, 2025)

Former Disney star Skai Jackson rang in 2025 by welcoming her first child, a son named Kasai, which she announced on Jan. 26.

The actress shared a photo of herself holding her son’s tiny hands, with a caption that simply read: “Kasai.”

Jackson announced her pregnancy in late 2024 and carried that excitement into the new year, greeting motherhood with joy and authentic gratitude.

“I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life, embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects. My heart is so full!” Jackson told People during an interview last year.

Jackson gave fans a look at Kasai in July, sharing a 6-month update. The adorable little one could be seen smiling in overalls as he sat happily on the couch.

Jasmin Brown & Cam Newton: Baby Arrival (Oct. 2025)

Comedian and actress Jasmin Brown and former NFL quarterback Cam Newton expanded their family in 2025 with the birth of their second child together. Newton, already a father of a large blended family of eight, confirmed the birth of his 9th child during an interview with Tamron Hall in October.

“So we’re expecting your ninth baby?” Hall asked the star during their Oct. 16 interview, to which he replied, “Oh, he’s already here.”

This month, Brown, who announced her pregnancy in May, gave fans a sneak peek of her and Cam’s precious bundle of joy. Holding the cutie with his face out of sight of the camera, the comedian could be seen talking to the little one in different voices as she used hilarious filters to accompany each character.

In the caption of her Dec. 4 post, she wrote, “Lol…My son likes it when I talk to him doing different voices. Follow me on Snapchat.”

Cheyenne Floyd Davis & Zach Davis: Baby Boy (Dec. 10, 2025)

Reality TV personality Cheyenne Floyd Davis and husband Zach Davis welcomed their third child, a baby boy, on Dec. 10. Their journey was marked by fertility struggles shared openly on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, revealing how they learned of the pregnancy just days before scheduled fertility treatments.

In May, Cheyenne expressed immense gratitude, calling her third pregnancy “proof that even in the waiting, even in the heartbreak, miracles are still being written.”

In addition to their new baby boy, Cheyenne and Zach share children Ace, 4, and Ryder, 8.

    Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton ( Oct. 1, 2025)

Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton, beloved alums from the first season of Love Is Blind, welcomed their first child—a baby boy named Ezra—on Oct. 1, at 8:18 p.m. Speaking exclusively with People, the Hamiltons shared the joyous news. Lauren, 37, said that the arrival of their son, who weighed in at 5 lbs., 15 oz., made their long and emotional fertility journey “worth it.”

“He’s been such a blessing already,” she gushed to People.

Lauren underwent in vitro fertilization treatment before welcoming her new bundle of joy, a process she described as “tough” on a 2024 episode of her podcast The Love Seat, which she hosts alongside her husband.

“It still feels surreal that we have a son after four years of trying to conceive,” she shared. “That said, the 4 a.m. feedings and diaper changes have definitely made it feel more real. I’m grateful for it all.”

From the exhilaration of planned family expansions to challenging medical journeys that ended in triumph, these Black celebrities brought 2025 into beautiful focus with their incredible children and we can’t wait to see them grow.

The New England Patriots debuted their “Nor’easter” uniforms on Thursday night as part of the NFL’s “Rivalries” program for their game against the New York Jets.

The Patriots wore “Storm Blue” color jerseys with white helmets and pants.

The uniform had features a fan wouldn’t be able to see by the naked eye. There was a hidden message inside the collar. On red fabric, the words “We Are All Patriots” were stitched into white lettering.

“At the heart of the look is a deep Storm Blue base – rugged, weathered, and worn in, like the coastline after a gale,” an infographic on the Patriots’ website said. “The color reflects both the unforgiving power of the nor’easters and the perseverance of the people who face them head-on.”

  • Cardi B Welcomes Her Fourth Child, Her First With Boyfriend Stefon Diggs: ‘This Next Chapter Is Me Vs. Me!’

    [ad_1]

Cardi B is officially a mother of four!

    Source: Elsa / Getty

The “Please Me” rapper took to Instagram on Thursday, Nov. 13 to announce that she has given birth her baby boy with boyfriend Stefon Diggs.

This is Cardi’s first child with Diggs, but she is already a mother to three children with her estranged husband Offset: 7-year-old daughter Kulture, 4-year-old son Wave, and 1-year-old daughter Blossom.

The former Love & Hip Hop star dropped the news in the caption of an Instagram video, which features her lip-synching to her song, “Hello.”

“My life has always been a combination of different chapters and different seasons,” she began in her caption. “My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy but it’s been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve. This next chapter is Me vs. Me!”

The rapper continued: “It’s me against all odds me against everything meant to get in my way. I’ve started prepping for tour getting my body right getting my mind right. There’s nothing thats gonna stop me from giving you guys the performance of a life time! I’ve learned i’ve healed, and im loving the woman i’ve become! Thats what this next era means to me and i’m stepping into it better than ever.”

Following Cardi’s post, TMZ revealed that Cardi gave birth to her baby boy last week. Their sources also said the New England Patriots receiver was with her when their child arrived.

Diggs revealed the sex of their child earlier this month, talking about how excited he was to do all of the typical father-son activities with his little one.

“It’s a boy. That’s enough for me,” he told People a couple weeks ago. “I can’t wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around.”

Congrats to the happy couple on the new addition!

  • Patriots handle AFC East rival Jets at home behind TreVeyon Henderson’s 3-touchdown night

    [ad_1]

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

The New England Patriots continue to roll, handling their AFC East rival New York Jets, 27-14, on “Thursday Night Football.”

New England extended its lengthy win streak to eight games, improving to 9-2 on the season. Meanwhile, the Jets’ brief win streak, after starting the season 0-7, has come to a close.

Heading into this game, the Patriots were expected to dominate the Jets. While the scoreboard didn’t say so in the end, their rookie running back certainly provided the fireworks.

TreVeyon Henderson, who had a breakout game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week with 147 rushing yards and two long touchdown runs, added three more touchdowns to his first-year stat line in this victory.

He was the only Patriots player to find the end zone, starting with the team’s 13-play, 69-yard drive that ended with his entire offensive line pushing him over the goal line to tie the game at seven apiece.

On the Patriots’ next drive, Henderson rushed in from seven yards out to give the Patriots a 14-7 lead to end the first half.

PATRIOTS DRAW PRAISE WITH STORMY UNIFORM DEBUT AGAINST JETS

New England started to pull away after quarterback Drake Maye, an MVP hopeful who had yet another great performance, put together chunk completions to set up an eventual touchdown pass to Henderson, who found himself wide open in the end zone.

Henderson finished the game with 62 rushing yards on 19 carries, while hauling in five catches for 31 yards.

Meanwhile, Justin Fields and the Jets’ offense struggled in yet another outing despite a great 14-play opening drive that ended with the quarterback rushing it in himself.

Fields was coming off a rough game against the Cleveland Browns, though the Jets were able to win thanks to two special teams scores. He threw for only 54 yards with a 60.4 quarterback rating.

Fields was 15-of-26 for 116 yards in this game with a touchdown pass on a broken play to John Metchie III that made it 21-14 in the third quarter. But there were more negative moments than positive for the Jets, including a fumble lost on a low snap in the fourth quarter while the Jets were down just a touchdown.

The Patriots were able to run the fourth-quarter clock out, and give the home crowd what they were hoping for in Mike Vrabel’s first year as a head coach — a winning season.

There is still more work to do, but nine wins put the Patriots above .500.

Looking more into the box score, Maye was an efficient 25-of-34 for 281 yards with his one touchdown pass to Henderson. Stefon Diggs also led the way with nine catches for 105 yards, a game high, while Mack Hollins and Hunter Henry both caught four passes.

For the Jets, Metchie was the leading receiver with 45 yards on three grabs, while Breece Hall had 58 rushing yards on 14 carries. Fields had 67 yards on 11 runs.
