Kandi Burruss is getting real about the ins and outs of coparenting with her ex Todd Tucker amid their divorce.
“We have determined that no matter what we’re always going to be great coparents for our kids,” Buruss, 49, told cohosts Jenna Bush Hagerand Sheinelle Jones while appearing on the Friday, January 16, episode of Today With Jenna & Sheinelle.
“So that means that, you know, we’re going to spend holidays together sometimes because we’re still a family, even though he and I have decided to go our separate ways,” The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum continued. “And we’re trying to make it as easy as possible for our children.”
In November 2025, Burruss announced she was divorcing Tucker, 52, after 11 years of marriage.

“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,” Burrus said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time. “I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family and my growth. I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.”
“Ya’ll already know I’m going through a divorce, but we have decided that we are still going to do Christmas together,” Burruss, who is mom to Riley, 23, Ace, 9, and Blaze, 6, said on a December 15 episode of her Amazon Live broadcast. “Even though we have all this mess going on right now, we still gonna do it together for our kids, so we are spending Christmas in New York.”
In addition to remaining committed to developing a healthy and sustainable coparenting relationship with her ex for the sake of their children, Burruss is also throwing herself into work, including her role as Angélique in the hit musical & Juliet.
“[The show] definitely helped,” Burruss said on Friday of how work has helped her navigate her divorce. “When I decided to do this show is right when … in the thick of it, exactly. So it has been the best therapy for me because sometimes you have to have, you know, something to put your focus into or your attention to keep your mind out of, you know, a sad place.”

She continued, “So for me it’s like singing, performing, you know, learning to be better, make myself better — work out more, you now, work on my vocals, do everything that I’m supposed to do to make sure I’m the best I can be on stage in front of everybody. Behind the scenes I might be breaking down but I have to keep it together, you know. It gives me motivation.”
In December, the reality TV star appeared on The View to perform a song from the Broadway show. Her estranged husband later posted a clip of the segment via Instagram to show his support.

Kandi Burruss is speaking out in the wake of her split from Todd Tucker after filing for divorce last week.
“My life has been going crazy lately,” Burruss, 49, revealed during her Monday, November 24, Amazon Live broadcast, referring to her recent split.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum explained, “I’m gonna be very honest with you, I am up and down. Obviously, going through a divorce is definitely not the easiest thing. Sometimes you’re cool, you’re moving, you’re mixing, you’re moving, you’re hanging out with friends.”
Burruss noted, “But then sometimes you have your moments of sadness. And me being the Taurus that I am, I like to keep those moments to myself.”
She recalled that when she was on RHOA, she couldn’t “keep moments to myself when I got upset,” so her fans would “catch me crying.”
However in her “real life,” Burruss said, “I don’t really like for those moments to be shared with the world.”
Burruss said her divorce from Tucker, 52, was one of those times that she was able to keep her private life secret.
After confirming she filed for divorce on Friday, November 21, Burress admitted the breakup “is something that has been brewing for a while.”
“So all the times you’ve been seeing me online [all smiles] means nothing,” she confessed. “I’ve been going through it, child. I’ve been going through it. Life has been life-ing me.”
Burruss, who shares son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 6, with Tucker, later told her followers that she is holding up “as good as I can be.”
The reality star revealed that it has been “hard” to read comments about her breakup on social media by people “making their own narrative of what’s going on.”
Even with the negative attention, Burruss said she has “no regrets” about her marriage to Tucker.
“Sometimes things don’t work out. It just is what it is,” she said, adding that their two children together are “keeping it very friendly” for the sake of their kids. (Burruss also shares daughter Riley, 23, with ex Russell Spencer.)
Us Weekly confirmed on Friday that Burruss and Tucker called it quits after 11 years of marriage.

Allen, 40, detailed the past few years of her life during an interview with British Vogue, published on Friday, October 17. The singer noted that she went to “some very, very bleak places” emotionally — but did not acknowledge the divorce head-on.
She did, however, offer an update on her mental health struggles during the course of her breakup with Harbour, 50, and revealed that she had “feelings of despair.” Allen also said she nearly relapsed after five years of sobriety.
“The last time that I felt anything like that, drugs and alcohol were my way out, so it was excruciating to sit with those [feelings] and not use them,” Allen said, explaining that she sought treatment after things got so bad that she felt like she “wanted to die.”
“I’ve had real problems with my food over the past few years,” Allen added. “It got really, really, really bad.”
Now, Allen is in the “thick of recovery” but spending “some time away” in treatment definitely helped.
“I’ve been into those places before against my will and I feel like that’s progress in itself,” she said. “That’s strength. I knew that the things I was feeling were too extreme to be able to manage.”

Urban, 57, gave a heartfelt speech honoring his wife at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala in April 2024, recalling how he caused problems in the relationship amid his addiction struggles after they tied the knot.
“We got married in June 2006 and barely four months into our marriage, my addictions … that I’d done really nothing about, blew our marriage to smithereens,” Urban revealed onstage in Los Angeles last year, per People. “Four months into a marriage, I’m in rehab for three months. The Oscar winner previously opened up about her partnership with Urban in an interview for the September 2021 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, revealing, “We’re always working through stuff, but it’s very much love-based, so there’s an enormous amount of give and take. I want him to have the best life he can have, and he responds the same way.”
While the pair have been active on Instagram promoting their latest respective business ventures, they haven’t shared pictures together since spring. Kidman, 58, last posted about Urban, 57, in June, while the country singer hasn’t talked about his spouse on social media since May.
The time lapse between cozy snaps initially didn’t raise eyebrows, but after a source confirmed to Us Weekly on Monday, September 29, that Kidman and Urban have separated, some eagle-eyed fans think it was a sign they were headed for a divorce.
“I wanna thank the ACM Academy for this, and my wife, Nicole Mary, is here tonight,” Urban started his speech. “I love you, baby girl. Our girls, Sunday and Faith, watching at home tonight, I love you both too.”
The following day, Urban relived the big night via Instagram, sharing several photos with his followers. The first image was a boomerang with Kidman as they got cozy in a car and smiled with the trophy.
“TRIPLE CROWN !!! it was a surreal feeling and truly humbling honor to be recognized at the @acmawards last night,” the singer captioned the upload. “And a triple-sized, massive thank you to @megmoroney, @chrisstapleton, and @brothersosborne for your insanely inspired performances last night during the show. I LOVED every second of it!!”
The following month, Kidman shared her last photo of the couple pre-split in honor of their 19th wedding anniversary.
“Happy Anniversary Baby ❤️ @KeithUrban,” the Big Little Lies alum captioned the Instagram snap, which was a black and white photo of the couple backstage at one of Urban’s shows.
In the lovey-dovey picture, Kidman hugged her husband and closed her eyes. Urban, for his part, held on tight to his wife’s arm as it rested on his shoulder.

The hosts later stood by their approach, with Colton telling Us after the show premiered, “The goal of the show was never to get them laid, I remember joking about that on my Bachelor season like, ‘That is not the goal of the show.’ The goal is to connect with somebody, to experience these things. And people experienced their firsts on Are You My First? in different ways.”
He continued: “On a deeper level, I think some of the cast experienced the first self-love and self-acceptance, like, having that deeper understanding of their virginity was the goal of this. And I would like to think after a lot of them have lost their virginity, and they might have had those tools to do that from the experience.”

Schwarzenegger and Shriver, 69, were married for nearly 25 years and have four children together: Katherine, 35, Christina, 34, The White Lotus actor Patrick, 32, and Christopher, 27.
The couple tied the knot in April 1986 before separating in May 2011 amid reports of Schwarzenegger’s infidelity. Schwarzenegger later admitted to fathering a son, Joseph Baena, with the family’s former housekeeper Mildred “Patty” Baena. Their divorce was finalized in December 2021, a decade after their split.
According to a court filing obtained by Us Weekly in June 2022, as part of their settlement agreement, Shriver is entitled to half of Schwarzenegger’s earnings, including his pension, from the time they got married to when she filed for divorce.

Us confirmed that the duo’s divorce was finalized in June 2022. Hough has since discussed how difficult the experience was for her.
“It wasn’t right. That can be a hard thing to fully accept,” she said on an episode of the “Armchair Expert” podcast earlier this month. “I feel like our relationship and our marriage was exactly right, and the end of it is right too. Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, on Tuesday, August 20. The news came 189 days — or a little more than six months — since the pair attended their final public event as a couple on February 13, where they walked the red carpet at the premiere for Lopez’s This Is Me … Now: A Love Story project.

Despite looking more in love than ever at the time, This Is Me … Now: A Love Story marked the final time Lopez and Affleck appeared at a public event together. When the Met Gala came around in May, Lopez attended solo. Weeks later, Affleck was once again absent as Lopez promoted her Netflix film Atlas at its Los Angeles and Mexico City premieres.
As rumors of a tension continued to swirl, Us Weekly confirmed in May that Affleck moved out of his and Lopez’s shared home in Beverly Hills. In July, neither Lopez nor Affleck publicly acknowledged their second wedding anniversary.

While a separate insider told Us that there was still a glimmer of “hope” for the romance, Lopez filed for divorce on August 20 in a Los Angeles court. According to documents obtained by Us, she listed the date of separation as April 26, submitting the paperwork pro per, meaning by herself without an attorney.

Christine Quinn‘s estranged husband, Christian Richard, was denied his request for a restraining order amid their divorce.
Quinn, 35, and Richard, 44, filed for restraining orders against one another following an alleged domestic violence incident in March. The Selling Sunset alum’s request was granted last month, but Richard’s was denied on Wednesday, April 17, Us Weekly can confirm.
Quinn’s attorney issued a statement after the court hearing, noting, “We are pleased that the Court dismissed Christian’s baseless request for a DVRO against Christine today. As such, all of his requests have been denied again. The Court also extended Christine’s Temporary Restraining Order protecting her and her son from Christian until May 14, 2024. We look forward to appearing at that hearing to obtain a permanent restraining order.”
People reported that the pair’s hearing was pushed because Quinn wasn’t able to serve Richard with the court ordered restraining order. In earlier paperwork, Quinn claimed she was told by a man who was removing Richard’s belongings from their shared home that he was currently “in Europe.”

Quinn’s restraining order stated that Richard must not come within 100 years of her, her home, her vehicle, her job or their child’s “school or childcare.” Since the paperwork wasn’t served, however, those orders cannot currently be enforced. She has until May 9 to serve Richard the order.
Quinn and Richard’s marital issues made headlines in March when he was arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon. A temporary restraining order was put in place following the incident. Richard was subsequently taken into custody for a second time after violating the order when he returned to their home.
Richard subsequently filed for divorce from Quinn after two years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. Richard also requested full legal and physical custody of their 2-year-old son, Christian, while allowing Quinn visitation.
Court documents obtained by Us on Tuesday, April 16, state that Quinn is seeking sole legal and physical custody because Richard’s “actions and behavior have put our son’s health and wellbeing at risk.”
A source has since told Us that Quinn “felt controlled” by Richard throughout the entirety of their relationship.
