    And before you try to guess it, we are actually talking about a DIFFERENT spirit-related story from the one Khloé opened up about last summer!

    The reality star is opening up about a chilling experience involving her daughter True that has fans equal parts freaked out and fascinated. And yes, this is one of those stories that makes you look around the room afterward just to be safe.

    Khloé revealed on her podcast Khloe in Wonder Land on Wednesday that her kids may be way more tuned into the other side than the rest of us.

    While chatting with Long Island Medium star Theresa Caputo, the Good American founder first admitted she’s not totally sure what’s going on with her kids True and Tatum, but she knows something is definitely there as far as interfacing with other realms is concerned:

    “My children, I don’t know their abilities, but I know that they have some.”

    Okay, spooky already. But it gets way creepier.

    Khloé went on to explain that her daughter True, now 7, saw the ghost of her late grandmother Andrea Thompson before the family even knew Andrea had passed away. Andrea, who of course was Tristan Thompson’s mom, died suddenly and unexpectedly of a heart attack in January 2023. At the time, True was just four years old.

    According to Khloé, True came to her very early one morning and casually mentioned that a woman had visited her room during the night. Not a dream. Not imagination. A full-on visit:

    “True told me she passed before we knew she passed. True said, ‘Oh, this lady came in my room last night and woke me up. Andrea, in human form was a little bigger of a woman. Then when True saw her, she was thinner because she was younger. True was like, ‘she was tall and skinny and he had a silly voice,’ because she’s Jamaican.”

    WHOA.

    Khloé recalled that True described the woman as happy, laughing, and ready to go “home,” which is just… chills. The podcaster said:

    “[True] just laughed, and was talking to me and she told me she was going home and she was so happy to go home. I’m like, ‘girl, what are you talking about?’ This is at, like, 5 in the morning.”

    As if that wasn’t enough, hours later, Khloé received the devastating phone call confirming Andrea’s death — while she was driving back home after dropping True off at school. Coincidence or nah?!

    And apparently, the visits didn’t stop there. Khlo-money explained:

    “Sometimes the ‘silly’ lady comes and visits [True]. I encourage all of it. Sometimes I’m a little freaked out.”

    Same, Khloé. SAME.

    Caputo tried to offer some comfort, explaining that the spirits appearing to True may be loved ones watching over her, including Khloé’s late father, Robert Kardashian Sr:

    Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — Hope Afloat USA is a Dragon Boat team based in Philadelphia. The women who practice and compete and paddle together all have one thing in common. They are all breast cancer survivors.

    Phyllis Silverstein explains, “It’s sisterhood. It’s survivorship. It’s brought me to be with people that have been on the same journey that I’ve been on. “

    They practice three times a week on the water and each time they get together they build a sense of camaraderie and give a sense of belonging to many who have faced a difficult road to recovery from their breast cancer diagnosis.

    Phyllis says of her treatment and recovery, “There were definitely times I thought I wanted to give up. And so, getting in the dragon boat, I thought the same thing! The first practice, somebody handed me a paddle and I’m like I can’t do this. And then I finished and I came back for another one.”

    They’re building teamwork and getting back to a normal life after facing so many challenges. And they’re winning too.

    In 2025, 5 members of the team competed in Germany on the world stage on the first ever Breast Cancer Paddler team! They took home a total of three silver and three bronze medals and showed their moxie on the world stage and proved how their determination and spirit can make a big difference.

    Nancy Glasgow is a paddler on Hope Afloat USA and says showing up and competing on this team is about Zen and connection.

    “It’s very challenging. But that’s what you try and strive for. That’s what keeps you going. And that’s the wonderful thing about this sport. I mean, there’s no age limit on this sport. We have people in their eighties doing this and it’s a fabulous, fabulous thing.”

  • Washington Spirit offers ticket deals for furloughed workers

    The NWSL’s Washington Spirit have offered free and discounted tickets to furloughed federal employees for Sunday’s match with the San Diego Wave on Sunday, Oct. 5.

    The 200 tickets that were offered via voucher were quickly claimed on Wednesday as the federal government was shut down.

    The club will also offer a limited number of $10 tickets to friends and families of the furloughed employees. Sunday’s game is nearly a sell-out at Audi Stadium, which holds 14,900 fans and is the home to the Spirit and the MLS’s DC United.

    ‘This is not a political statement,’ team CEO Kim Stone told The Athletic. ‘This is us saying you’re hurting, we see you, we want to help you. This is about kindness, love, and a sense of community. We’re not trying to be antagonists. On the contrary, we’re trying to be kind, inclusive, celebrate and give hope to people who you know need a little inspiration today.’

    The Spirit clinched a playoff berth with a resounding 4-0 win over Houston on Sunday. They reside in second place in the league standings and could sew up home-field advantage in the early stages of the playoffs with a win over San Diego and help from some other teams.

    Stone is considering extending the ticket offers to the team’s final regular season home game on Oct. 18 vs. Orlando and into the playoffs.

    Deepika Padukone will not be seen in Kalki 2898 AD, and she’s making headlines about it all over once again because of her exit from the upcoming sequel of the movie Kalki 2989 AD . A few months ago, news about Deepika Padukone ‘s and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s spirit circulated because the filmmaker was not ready to accept the terms and conditions that Deepika Padukone demanded for an eight-hour shift, and there were other issues as well. Now, in the new headlines, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD announced that Deepika won’t be a part of the film’s sequel. In their tweet, they mentioned that a film like Kalki 2898 AD deserves commitment and time.

    Now, according to a report in Bollywood Hungama, there are multiple reasons why the makers decided not to have Deepika in Kalki Part 2. An inside source said that Deepika has demanded a 25 percent increment in her fees. She was also adamant about shooting for just seven hours a day.

    The source also said, “Given that Kalki 2898 AD is a VFX-heavy film, such short shoots were likely to shoot up the budget by a reasonable amount. The producers were willing to provide a luxury vanity for Deepika to rest in exchange for longer shoot hours, but she refused. They also tried to negotiate finances, given that even Prabhas had not asked for an increment in fees. She and her team refused to adjust on either.”

    The source added that Deepika has a huge team of almost 25 people that travels with her on the sets. “They demanded five-star accommodation and reimbursement for food throughout the shoot for her entourage. Why should the producers pay for the stay and food of an actor, over and above the fees? This is an issue that a lot of Hindi producers also face. “
    The source said, “This was the issue on Spirit too , and now Kalki 2898 AD. Actors have to be more collaborative to make films work.” Deepika has not yet shared any official statement about her exit from Kalki 2898 AD Part 2.

    Frontier’s set to end five direct flights in September.

    Despite a relatively glowing year for Frontier Airlines at Cleveland Hopkins, the Denver-based company announced this week that they’ll be cutting five direct flights  at the end of the summer season.

    Come September, Clevelanders will no longer be able to book budget flights on the airline directly to Jacksonville, Florida; New Orleans; Myrtle Beach; Pensacola, Florida and Savannah, Georgia. Travelers will have to fly to these destinations with connecting flights, via Spirit, Southwest Delta and United.

    A spokesperson at Cleveland Hopkins deferred to Frontier, who did not return calls for comment Monday and Tuesday.

    “These routes are seasonal, and are ending with the conclusion of the summer travel season,” a statement from Frontier published in the Plain Dealer Tuesday read. “A decision on resuming service to these destinations next summer will be made at a later date, based on market demand.”

    Market demand has seemed to, regardless of its cancellations, prop Frontier up in recent years amongst its competitors.

    Along with adding a handful of new routes in the spring, and a whole new crew base of 450 set up here in January, the airline had its busiest stretch last year since 2008, with 221,434 customers at Hopkins—making it the most traveled airline, the PD reported, in Cleveland. (United had 217,898; American Airlines, 181,340.)

    Mass doesn’t come without controversy. As flights increased, so did a barrel of complaints.

    According to “The Plane Truth 2024” report from the United States Public Interest Research Group, Frontier amassed a new record of customer complaints—an increase of 29 percent last year—that revolved around scheduling issues, excessive cancellations, delays and slow-rolled refunds.

    That gave Frontier the “worst ratio of complaints to passengers,” the report reads, twice as high as Spirit, which came in at second place.

    Such report was before the Biden administration signed an executive order in April demanding that all U.S. airlines issue refunds for botched flights without having customers “jump through hoops” to get their money back. And within a week’s time.

    Frontier will most likely decide if they’re rebooting the aforementioned five flights to the South in early 2025.

    Sure, Palworld has some seriously impressive Pals like Mammorest or Grizzbolt, but those just don’t speak to me. In truth, none of the Pals in the game really speak to me quite like Depresso. Ever since I first laid eyes on them, I knew that there was no other Pal for me.

    Take a good look at Depresso. Seriously, what’s not to love? From the slight slouch to the drooped ears to the “perpetually grouchy look on its face,” Everything about Depresso reaches the part of my soul that just needed to be reached — and the memes seem to agree. Seriously, they’re physically blue — meaning that the blueness inside runs so deep that it had no choice but to come out.

    Or, so you might think. As Depresso’s description in the Paldeck states, it’s actually much nicer than it looks. Maybe it really wants to talk and socialize, but it just doesn’t know the right words to say, so chooses not to say anything at all? If Depresso’s social battery is anything like mine, trust me, I get it. After all, if you want to see them smile, just give ’em some pets.

    Even though Depresso doesn’t openly express it, it’s clear to see the heart behind that little blue pot-belly. The Paldeck says that they have been seen to feed stray Vixy, and if they really wanted to die as much as they appear to, they likely wouldn’t even bat an eye. Actions speak louder than words, after all.

    Speaking of their actions, let’s not undersell the work that these Pals can accomplish. They’re suitable for Handiwork, Mining and Transporting, which makes them excellent little workers on your base. Sure, forced labor may not be the thing that’ll put a smile on their face, but it’ll at least give them purpose.

    Never does it become clearer that Depresso is a Dark-type pal than as they slowly meanders across your base bringing materials from one place to another, back hunched, moving slower than the rest of your Pals. Compare that to my Cattiva who sprint back and forth across the base, it really does feel like Depresso lives up to their name.

    Adding only ever more to how relatable this little Pal is, their Partner Skill is aptly titled, “Caffeine Inoculation,” and it’s exactly what it sounds like. When times get tough, Depresso just chugs a few energy drinks and gets right back to it, like a jittery little workhorse. When I look at them, it really does feel sometimes like I’m looking in a mirror.

    While they might not even be the most powerful Pal I can have, it only feels right to keep Depresso with me on my team. They make it feel like I’m not alone in a world full of monsters that I can both tame and devour, but Depresso also reminds me that with just a little bit of caffeine, anything is possible.

    A judge has blocked the Spirit/Jetblue merger after an antitrust challenge by the Department of Justice (DoJ). JetBlue had proposed a $3.8 billion purchase of Spirit but the DoJ argued that the deal was anti competitive and would be bad for cost-conscious travelers that rely on Spirit’s low fares. JetBlue & Spirit said they disagreed with the ruling and would evaluate next steps.

    Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s brother and co-screenwriter Pranay Reddy Vanga was recently caught in an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla talking about the recent success of Animal and their future projects.

    In the interview, Pranay Reddy was asked about his future project with Allu Arjun which was earlier announced with T-Series bankrolling the project. Vanga revealed “It was just an announcement. Like Bhushan ji wanted us to associate, we haven’t discussed a story but it is just a placeholder.”

    He added, “Allu Arjun has a couple of movies to do and so do we. After that, we’ll work together. We just have an understanding now, but haven’t thought of anything else.”

    He further added “The only advantage about Animal Park is that all the characters are established, so it won’t take much time to take it forward, but for Allu Arjun’s project we have to think of something which suits his image and we have to develop it. Sandeep takes a sweet amount of time, we don’t know when we’ll do it but it’s definitely on the cards.”

    Pranay Reddy also talked about his brother’s next film with Prabhas in the lead role. The film titled Spirit is also bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and according to his words, the film will feature Prabhas as a cop for the very first time and most probably much like Vanga’s previous characters, he will also be an angry young man. The film is expected to go on floors in six months.

    Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been in the headlines for some time now, especially after the release of his latest film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. The film features the story of a violent son who returns from the USA after his father survived a life-threatening situation. This leads him to hunt down the person responsible for his father’s life and risk everything in his life.

    The film features an ensemble cast of actors like Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, Suresh Oberoi and many more in key roles. The film is also set to have a sequel called Animal Park.
