❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
This is the quickest and easiest fudge recipe you will ever make! It only takes a few minutes and it is so good. I cut this into small pieces and keep it in my fridge for when I am craving something sweet, and since I am a chocoholic, it makes the perfect treat.

This a super versatile and straightforward base recipe. You can easily switch out the chips, could use peanut butter or butterscotch or a combination. We have made this with butterscotch and it was delicious. You could also add in some raisins, take out the nuts, add in coconut. This is a recipe you can really play with.

These peanut butter treats are so easy to make and are delicious! Great for any gathering.
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We are big fans of Rice Krispie treats, and these take those to the next level. If you are a fan of chocolate and peanut butter then you will want to make these too. The addition of brown sugar is excellent. These are also made in an 8X8, so they are perfect for just a few people. You could also double the recipe.
SWAPS& ADDITIONS
These are very versatile; you could easily switch out the semi-sweet chocolate chips for dark chocolate or white chocolate. If you are not a fan of pecans, you can use walnuts or leave the nuts out altogether. We make these with creamy peanut butter, but any would probably work.
Mississippi Mud Brownies
Mississippi Mud Brownies are so simple and completely addictive! A fudge brownie mix, marshmallows, store-bought chocolate frosting, and toasted pecans make this dessert irresistible.
⭐TIP
These are stored in the refrigerator; however, it is best to let them sit out about 10 minutes before cutting.

These Sausage Cheese Biscuits are always a good idea! Perfect way to start the day.
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We love these biscuits because they are a little different. Instead of serving a biscuit with sausage and cheese, we added it all to the batter. They turned out perfect and we all loved them and now make them often. They are delicious with grape jelly on them! They reheat well and are perfect to make on a Sunday and have for breakfast throughout the week.
SWAPS& ADDITIONS
We use buttermilk to make these biscuits and genuinely feel the extra fat gives them a wonderful flavor. You can use regular milk if you like. You can also add any spices to this recipe and switch out the cheese! Super versatile.
CAN I FREEZE THESE?
Yes, you can freeze these biscuits, and they also reheat well in the microwave. This recipe is one you can enjoy for just a few people, make them up, enjoy a few and freeze the rest!
A Childhood Full of Biscuits
“Certain recipes have a way of creeping into our minds and imprinting us with a nostalgia that lasts forever. I’m never sure quite what it is but when a food touches your soul, you know it. “
⭐TIP
I usually brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter before cooking. We like the butter to soak in during the cooking process.

1box Brownie mixwith instructions for making in a 13×9 pan + ingredients listed on the package
2cupspecansroughly chopped
1cupsugar
1 1/2cupslight corn syrup
4eggs
1/4cupunsalted butter
1 1/2teaspoonsvanilla extract
Preheat oven according to brownie package instructions.
Mix brownies according to package instructions.
Pour brownie batter into a greased 13×9-inch pan and place in the oven to bake for 23 minutes. (The cooking time for all brownie mixes is different. This brownie mix cooking time was 33 minutes, but I cooked it 10 minutes less. I suggest subtracting 10 minutes from the cooking time on the box or cooking it for 2/3 of the time.)
While the brownies cook, whisk together the sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter, and vanilla in a small saucepan. Place the saucepan on the stovetop over medium-high heat and begin to cook, stirring continuously. Cook the filling until it begins to thicken. Add the pecans into the mixture and continue to cook until the mixture is thicker but pourable. You still want it to be pourable.
When the brownies have finished with the first round of baking, remove them from the oven, poke the top with a fork or skewer, and pour the pecan pie filling over them, spreading it out to cover the brownies completely.
Place them back in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the filling seems pretty set. Let cool to room temperature before cutting

These Salted Nut Roll Bars are so easy to make and an absolute hit! Great addition to any gathering.
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
We have always been big fans of the Payday Candy Bar, and this is pretty much the homemade version. We all agree it’s even better and that it’s only a few ingredients that make it an even bigger winner! You can make these in about 15 minutes and then just put them in the refrigerator to chill. We have made these for a few gatherings and so easy, just cut them in small pieces and enjoy!
SWAPS
We once made these with fat-free sweetened condensed milk, and they turned out good. You can also add in some Reese’s Pieces on the top if you like, or M&M’s. We like them made the original way but they are versatile. Some people use other nuts like pecans and switch up the peanut butter chips for butterscotch or chocolate, but if you want them to taste like payday, stick with this recipe.
⭐TIP
These can be hard right out of the fridge, so we set them out for 5-10 minutes and then cut them. You can freeze them in an air-tight container up to a few months, just thaw and enjoy.

This old-fashioned peanut butter pie is one your family will love. It’s absolutely delicious.
❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
If you love peanut butter, this pie is for you, and I assure you… It’s fantastic! The creamy peanut butter layer, combined with the crunch of the crumbs, gives this pie the best texture and flavor. The meringue on this pie is unique since it’s not fluffy. This pie is essentially made with a layer of meringue, as you add the crumb topping and then bake it. We all agree that the merignue really is an excellent addition to this pie.
⭐TIP
The mixture should start to thicken while it is cooking. I don’t let it get as thick as pudding before removing from the heat, as it will continue to thicken as it cools until it is about the consistency of pudding when cool. The mixture doesn’t need to cool before you pour it over the crumb mixture.

In a bowl, mix the sugar and peanut butter together using a fork until mixture looks like coarse crumbs. Remove 1/2 cup crumbs and set aside. Spread the rest of the crumbs in the baked pie shell. Mix together 2 tablespoons margarine, evaporated milk, salt, the 3 egg yolks (keep the whites for the meringue), 1/4 cup cornstarch, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla in a pan. Cook on medium heat on top of the stove stirring constantly until thickens. (about 5 to 7 minutes). I remove as soon as it starts to thicken. (This will burn easily so watch it closely).

I remember as a kid opening up a tin from the neighbors and this delicious candy would be stacked between wax paper and I would be so excited. It’s that delicious and everyone should try it!

🍽️HOW TO MAKE
This recipe takes a little bit of work but once you learn the consistency it will come together really quickly. Full Printable Recipe below.
📖COOKING STEPS
Step 1 Boil potato, peel and put into a large bowl. Mash until lump free. Add two cups of powdered sugar to mixture.
Step 2 Continue to mix until sugar is combined with potato. Add in vanilla. Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, until the mixture reaches a consistency you can mold into a ball.
Step 3 Transfer to a sugared board and sprinkle with more powdered sugar. Roll with a rolling pin. Spread with peanut butter and roll from the long side like a jelly roll. Slice into pieces.
⭐TIPS & NOTES
Do not use granulated sugar, it must be powdered sugar for this recipe to work. The amount of powdered sugar matters and it can vary depending on how much potato you use. This is an old fashioned recipe, so you will need to start with a small potato and just continue to work with the powdered sugar until you get the consistency you need. You don’t want it to crack when you roll it out, you want it to be more clay like. Work quickly the dough will dry out.
If you roll the dough and feel it needs to be chilled before slicing, cut the roll in half and store in the fridge for a bit. Then remove and slice.

Prep Time 25 minutesmins

Course candy
Cuisine American
1small russet potato
6-7cupsof powdered sugar
2/3cupof creamy peanut butter
1teaspoonof vanilla extract
Boil potato, peel and put into a large bowl. Mash until lump free.
Add two cups of powdered sugar to mixture. Continue to mix until sugar is combined with potato. Add in vanilla.
Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, until the mixture reaches a consistency you can mold into a ball.
Transfer to a sugared board and sprinkle with more powdered sugar. Roll with a rolling pin.
Spread with peanut butter and roll from the long side like a jelly roll.
Slice into pieces. Chill for a few hours. Enjoy!
