  • Solana Price Approaches $130: What’s Behind The Recent Surge?

    [ad_1]

The Solana price has shown encouraging signs of recovery, climbing 6% on Friday to approach the $126 mark. This uptick follows a concerning dip below the crucial $120 level, which had sparked fears of a potential downtrend that could drag the cryptocurrency down toward the $100 threshold.

    Solana Price Gains Ground

Chris MacDonald, an analyst at The Motley Fool, recently highlighted two key factors contributing to Solana’s resurgence. One significant catalyst is a proactive initiative by the Solana Foundation.

Bitcoinist reported earlier this week that the organization is currently assessing whether its network can withstand potential threats from quantum computing technologies.

In collaboration with Project Eleven, a security firm specializing in post-quantum cryptography, the Solana team has launched a quantum-resistant testnet following a comprehensive threat assessment.

The second notable factor driving the Solana price uptick is the announcement from health and wellness company Mangoceuticals, which revealed plans to allocate $100 million toward acquiring and holding SOL

Despite the positive momentum, experts caution that Solana’s price is currently following a “clean corrective structure.”

    Moving Averages Signal Downtrend

From a technical analysis perspective, the 50-day simple moving average (SMA) is situated around $143, significantly higher than the current trading range, while the 200-day SMA looms even further at approximately $170, suggesting a prevailing downtrend rather than a healthy consolidation phase.

In the short term, the 20-day exponential moving average has also rolled over near $133 and has consistently rejected previous attempts at a bounce.

Analysts note that until the Solana price can close above the low-$130s for an extended period, any rebounds will likely be seen merely as counter-trend movements

Immediate support lies just below current trading levels at the $125 mark, followed by critical levels in the $121–$120 range, and another demand zone around $110.

A more significant downturn could push the price into the high $90s, with projections indicating a potential dip to around $80 if liquidations accelerate further, as NewsBTC reported on Thursday.

The market has already registered an eight-month low near $116.9. A decisive close beneath that level could likely drag the Solana price toward the psychologically significant $100 mark.

On the upside, the Solana price could encounter initial resistance clustered in the $133–$138 range, with stronger resistance observed in higher levels between $144 and $147 that could prevent any new recoveries in the short-term.

To facilitate further price recovery, the Solana price will need to clear that second group of resistance levels on a daily close, ideally supported by increased trading volume, to pave the way toward prices between $160 and $165.

Solana Q3 Digest: Total Value Locked Hits $5.7 Billion, Ranks Third Among Networks

    [ad_1]

Este artículo también está disponible en español.

A recent report from crypto data and research firm Messari has shed light on the performance of the Solana (SOL) ecosystem during the third quarter of 2024. The report highlights a mixture of growth and challenges faced by the blockchain amid broader volatility in the cryptocurrency market during that period.

Solana Stablecoin Market Cap Rises To $3.8 Billion

One of the standout metrics from the report is the growth of Solana’s Total Value Locked (TVL) in decentralized finance (DeFi), which rose by 26% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) to reach $5.7 billion.

This growth positioned Solana as the third-largest network in terms of DeFi TVL, surpassing Tron in late September. Notably, the TVL denominated in SOL also increased, growing by 20% QoQ to 37 million SOL.

Kamino emerged as a leading player within the Solana ecosystem, experiencing a 57% growth in TVL, ending the quarter with $1.5 billion and capturing a 26% market share. This surge is attributed to the integration of new tokens, including PayPal’s USD (PYUSD) and jupSOL, which have enhanced the platform’s appeal.

Despite the overall positive trends, decentralized exchange (DEX) volume experienced a slight decline, reflecting a downturn in memecoin trading. Average daily spot DEX volume fell by 10% QoQ to $1.7 billion.

Per the report, the diminishing interest in memecoins was evident, as only two tokens—WIF and POPCAT—managed to make it into the top ten by trading volume for the quarter.

In contrast, Solana’s stablecoin ecosystem showed resilience, with the market cap for stablecoins growing by 23% QoQ to $3.8 billion, solidifying its rank as the fifth-largest network in this category.

On the non-fungible token (NFT) front, however, the performance was less favorable. Average daily NFT volume fell by 27% QoQ to $2.5 million, with Magic Eden maintaining a dominant market share despite experiencing a 44% decline in volume.

    Network Activity Thrives

Despite the challenges, the number of funding rounds for projects within the Solana ecosystem saw a reduction of 37% QoQ, with only 29 projects announcing funding. Yet, the total amount raised soared to $173 million, a 54% increase QoQ and the highest quarterly funding since Q2 2022.

Network activity remained robust, as evidenced by a 109% increase in average daily fee payers, which reached 1.9 million. Additionally, the average daily new fee payers grew by 430% QoQ to 1.3 million, signaling a growing user base.

    Related Reading

The average transaction fee on Solana increased by 6% QoQ to 0.00015 SOL (approximately $0.023), while the median transaction fee dropped by 19% to 0.000008 SOL (around $0.0013).

As of October 15, Solana’s market capitalization also grew by 5% QoQ, reaching $71 billion and maintaining its position as the fifth-largest cryptocurrency, trailing only Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, and Binance Coin.

However, the Real Economic Value (REV) of Solana, which tracks transaction fees and miner extractable value (MEV) for validators, decreased by 25% QoQ to 1.3 million SOL (approximately $196 million), with 56% of this total coming from transaction fees.

  • Solana On watch: SOL Price Could Crash To $90 If This Happens

Solana On watch: SOL Price Could Crash To $90 If This Happens

    [ad_1]

Este artículo también está disponible en español.

As the first week of September concluded, the Solana (SOL) price settled at $124, raising concerns for investors as the fifth largest cryptocurrency risks breaching the critical $100 threshold.

According to market analyst Ali Martinez, recent technical analysis indicates that a sustained close below the channel’s lower boundary at $126 could trigger a significant price correction for Solana, potentially dropping to $110 or even $90.

    Solana Price Challenges

In a social media update, Martinez elaborated on the current market conditions, noting that the TD Sequential indicator had previously presented a buy signal on the daily chart. This suggested a possible rebound for Solana from the lower boundary of its trading channel towards higher levels at $154 and $187.

However, the broader market’s ongoing selloff has invalidated this bullish signal, causing Solana to suffer losses of approximately 20% over the past two weeks and 13% in the last month.

    Related Reading

Despite these challenges, there remains a glimmer of hope for Solana’s recovery. Martinez pointed out a historical pattern indicating that Solana typically experiences a price upswing in the two weeks leading up to its “Breakpoint event”.

In 2021, the cryptocurrency surged by 35%, the following year it increased by another 35%, and in 2023 it soared by 60%. With only 16 days left until the 2024 “breakpoint event,” the analyst suggests that this trend of the past few years could continue, which would mean a significant recovery for the token.

If the historical pattern holds, Solana could potentially rally 35% towards $167, but remain just below the upper limit of its current channel at $187. However, as Martinez pointed out, the key is for SOL to recover and consolidate above the $126 level in the coming days to avoid further declines.

Influx of Capital From FTX Creditors And Historically Bullish Q4

Further adding some sense of hope for SOL investors, the fourth quarter post-Bitcoin (BTC) Halving events has historically shown bullish trends, suggesting a potential market recovery that could also benefit SOL significantly.

Adding to this hopeful outlook, the now-defunct crypto exchange FTX is set to distribute over $16 billion in cash to creditors affected by its collapse. This influx of capital into the market could signal a substantial return, particularly impacting four key cryptocurrencies.

Analyst OxNobler highlights that a majority of the affected FTX clients are retail investors, indicating that a significant portion of the recovered funds is likely to re-enter the crypto market.

    Related Reading

The expectation is that a substantial share of these funds will flow into Bitcoin and other dominant cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum (ETH), Solana, and Binance Coin (BNB). The anticipated return of capital not could stabilize the market but also present an opportunity for price increases across these assets.

However, it remains to be seen if this is indeed the case, but if it is, it could be a much-needed catalyst for the market following the strong sell-off activity that the largest cryptocurrencies on the market have experienced in recent months.

  • Colossal Buying Pressure For Bitcoin And Solana As FTX Plans $16B Distribution, Expert

Colossal Buying Pressure For Bitcoin And Solana As FTX Plans $16B Distribution, Expert

    [ad_1]

In a significant development for the cryptocurrency industry, FTX, the exchange that collapsed in November 2022 under the leadership of convicted Sam Bankman-Fried, is preparing to distribute a staggering $16 billion in cash to its customers, which could lead to significant gains for Bitcoin (BTC) and Solana (SOL) prices.

Crypto researcher Xremlin has predicted that a considerable portion of this cash will flow back into the crypto market, serving as a catalyst for growth towards the end of the year.

    FTX $16 Billion Cash Injection

In a recent social media post, Xremlin highlighted the significance of the distribution, emphasizing that it involves returning $16 billion in cash to individuals already involved in the crypto space.

Xremlin believes that a significant portion of this money will be reinvested in the market, specifically in purchasing various tokens, including Bitcoin and Solana, creating significant buying pressure and price growth for both cryptocurrencies.

    Related Reading

The source of this massive cash injection can be traced back to FTX’s agreement with US government agencies, where assets acquired with misappropriated customer funds were sold. These assets encompassed investments in cryptocurrencies, tech companies, venture funds, and real estate.

Following the sale of shares in AI startup Anthropic, where FTX had previously invested $500 million, the distressed exchange found $6.4 billion in cash. It is important to note that the amount also includes assets controlled by debtors and liquidators.

However, the distribution has faced dissatisfaction among some clients due to settling customer claims based on lower cryptocurrency prices from November 2022, when FTX filed for bankruptcy.

For instance, clients holding 10 Ethereum’s native token ETH in their accounts will receive approximately $12,000 in cash, significantly lower than the asset’s current worth of around $29,000 as ETH trades at $2,900.

Despite objections, the court has approved creditor voting on the liquidation plan, and if passed by the necessary number of votes, the plan will be implemented after final court approval.

Buying Frenzy For Bitcoin, Ethereum, And Solana?

Key dates to watch for further developments include August 16, 2024, which marks the deadline for FTX customers to vote on the bankruptcy wind-down payments, and October 7, 2024, when Judge John Dorsey will consider approving the FTX bankruptcy plan.

If the current plan is approved, clients can expect payouts to begin by the end of Q3, potentially providing much-needed liquidity for token purchases. This timing coincides with the US elections, which could contribute to increased market volatility.

Consequently, FTX payouts could serve as an additional factor fueling a bullish trend in the crypto market as it finds itself in significant price declines.

Bitcoin has fallen over 21% in the past month at one end of the market, from a high of $71,000 to a current trading price of $56,400. Meanwhile, Solana surpasses BTC’s losses with a 22% drop in the same time frame, currently trading at $134.

Furthermore, it is expected that the ongoing selling pressure from the US and German governments witnessed over the past month could continue for the rest of the year, and the cash injection from FTX to crypto investors could help mitigate the expected selling pressure.

The researcher points out that since most affected FTX customers are retail crypto investors, a significant portion of the money is expected to flow back into cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana are likely to receive the most liquidity.

  • Solana Meme Coins Outperform Ethereum 800% YTD – Top Winners Revealed

Solana Meme Coins Outperform Ethereum 800% YTD – Top Winners Revealed

    [ad_1]

In the first quarter of the year, Solana-based meme coins have emerged as the frontrunners, surpassing Ethereum’s meme coin ecosystem and artificial intelligence (AI) tokens, according to a recent report by market data platform CoinMarketCap.

This shift in popularity signifies a change in dynamics within the cryptocurrency market, with meme coins gaining traction and challenging previously dominant narratives such as smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

    Solana Ecosystem Dominates Growth Chart

The CoinMarketCap report highlights that the Solana ecosystem has consistently topped the growth chart for the past eight months, with over 20 new tokens introduced in Q2 alone.

Ethereum’s ecosystem followed closely behind with 14 new tokens, while Derivatives and Stablecoins witnessed relatively lesser growth with 5 and 4 new tokens, respectively. This surge in Solana-based token offerings indicates a growing interest in the network and its potential.

    Related Reading

Solana’s meme coin ecosystem, in particular, has gained significant momentum in price performance and popularity since October 2023. Although Ethereum remains the dominant blockchain, Solana’s growing prominence suggests a noteworthy trend in the crypto space.

Interestingly, SOL memes have significantly outperformed ETH memes, delivering an average return of 8,469% compared to 962% for Ethereum, as seen in the chart below.

As “speculative capital” from other chains rushed into Solana, attracted by the explosive rallies of tokens like dogwifhat (WIF) and Bonk Inu (BONK), more meme coins experienced price surges, attracting additional attention and capital.

The top winners in the meme coin space include the cat characters MEW, POPCAT, and Book of Meme (MEME). These tokens have outperformed even the most popular ones like WIF, BONK, Ethereum’s Pepe coin (PEPE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Notably, political memes also emerged as a popular subcategory, with the leading MAGA (TRUMP) meme coin gaining over 5100% year-to-date, largely due to vocal support for crypto from former President Donald Trump and the acceptance of crypto for campaign donations.

    Ethereum Tops Fee Income Rankings

Despite Solana’s significant gains, Ethereum continues to dominate the Layer 1 (L1) smart contracts market, representing 62.11% of the major L1s. The report notes that Ethereum’s recent milestone was propelled by the SEC’s approval of Ethereum Spot ETFs.

However, Binance Smart Chain (BNB) and Solana have also gained traction, adding $42 billion and $18 billion to their market share among L1 networks. Solana currently leads with over 1.6 million active daily addresses, followed by BNB with 1 million active addresses.

    Related Reading

In Q2, Ethereum experienced record low gas fees, reaching levels not seen since 2020 due to the growing adoption of Layer 2 solutions and the market excitement surrounding Solana-based meme coins.

Despite representing 62% of the market cap among major L1s, Ethereum accounted for 70% of the daily revenue, generating approximately $2.7 million. Solana ranked second with around $900,000 in daily revenue.

According to Lookonchain, Ethereum topped the fee income rankings in the past year with $2.728 billion, followed by Bitcoin with $1.302 billion.

Other notable networks include Tron ($459.39 million), Solana ($241.29 million), Binance Smart Chain ($176.56 million), Avalanche ($68.83 million), zkSync Era ($59.77 million), Optimism ($40.4 million), and Polygon ($23.91 million).

Despite both platforms experiencing success in various financial metrics and growth charts, Solana’s native token, SOL, has significantly outperformed Ethereum’s ETH token.

As of the current trading price, SOL is valued at $143.25, showcasing a year-to-date growth of 650%. ETH has seen a more modest surge of 68% during the same time frame, currently trading at $3,310.

  • Dogecoin, XRP Beat Out Cardano, Solana To Hit New Milestone

Dogecoin, XRP Beat Out Cardano, Solana To Hit New Milestone

    [ad_1]

Kaiko, a blockchain analytics platform, conducted an investigation that revealed the complexities of liquidity across the biggest crypto assets, with some lower market cap assets beating higher ones. According to its Q3 liquidity rankings, XRP and Dogecoin (DOGE) managed to beat out Solana and Cardano in liquidity rankings, coming in behind only Bitcoin and Ethereum. There were also some surprise numbers on the rankings, like BNB coming in 8th in terms of liquidity, and Litecoin also outperforming.

Kaiko Analysis Highlights Liquidity For Crypto Assets

The vast number of crypto assets has always brought out the idea among investors to rank their valuation on a scale of some sort, with the most adopted being the market cap. However, according to Kaiko, liquidity, along with other metrics like volume and market depth is a better way to measure a token’s real value apart from its market cap. This was best demonstrated by FTX’s token FTT, whose market was bloated to reach a peak of nearly $10 billion without having enough liquidity on exchanges to back this up.

According to its latest rankings, Bitcoin took up the first spot in liquidity. This wasn’t surprising, as Bitcoin has always held a tight reign over the crypto industry since its inception. Ethereum followed in second place in terms of liquidity to reiterate its position as the king of altcoins. However, Kaiko’s liquidity rankings started to digress from the market cap at the third position, with BNB underperforming massively to come in at 8th place.

Instead, XRP came in at 4th place, beating out the likes of Solana and Cardano (the Ethereum killers) on exchanges among traders. XRP’s liquidity boost in the quarter was thanks to the asset receiving regulatory clarity in the US. Dogecoin came in at 5th place, despite being 10th on market cap rankings, to solidify its position as the leader among meme coins. Litecoin came in at 5th place to complete the top five, despite being 18th in market cap rankings.

Total crypto market cap at $1.59 trillion on the daily chart: TradingView.com

On the other hand, AVAX’s liquidity ranking dropped 11 places when compared to its market cap, while TON came in at 37th place despite being 9th by market cap during the quarter. Also, ATOM, UNI, APT, TON, SHIB, OKB, LEO, and CRO all fell more than five spots.

What Does Liquidity Say About Dogecoin And Crypto Assets?

Kaiko’s measure of liquidity included the spread and the average daily trading volume on different exchanges. The analytics platform also included two different market depth levels; 0.1% for higher frequency traders and 1% for longer-term holders.

In terms of trading volume, BTC came in first place while ETH and XRP followed suit. However, SOL beat DOGE in this metric with around $2 billion in the quarter.

The bottom line is that greater liquidity often precedes greater success over the longer term for cryptocurrencies. Q4 2023 should tell a strong tale in terms of crypto liquidity, as most cryptocurrencies registered new yearly highs in terms of market cap.

Solana Soars Above $117, Meme Coin Craze Extends Momentum

    [ad_1]

The native cryptocurrency of Solana continued a spectacular climb that has already lasted three weeks by breaking beyond the $110 mark on Sunday morning. This is a strong demonstration of resilience.

The price of SOL has surged, reaching a level not seen since the night before Terra collapsed a year and a half ago. This coincides with a substantial uptick in meme coin activity in the cryptocurrency space, which is helping to increase the platform’s acceptance and appeal.

Solana Surges: 400% Rally Sparks Crypto Renaissance

The remarkable rise of Solana over the last six months has been nothing short of spectacular, as the cryptocurrency has seen an incredible 400% rally.

As of this writing, Coingecko data indicates that SOL is holding a fluctuating position in the $110–$117 price range, up 21% over the past seven days and sustaining a strong 60% increase over the past week.

Part of the reason for the current increase in Solana’s value is the industry’s general rebound in cryptocurrency. A considerable rise in market capitalization and a revival of market sentiment have characterized the whole digital asset space’s upward trend.

The market capitalization of the token as a whole has increased by an astounding 40 percent, which suggests that investors are once again feeling confident and interested in the digital asset field.

The total value of tokens locked on Solana applications also increased concurrently, reaching levels last seen in July 2022 with a rally to $1.3 billion from $400 million in November.

SOL’s year-to-date gains have reportedly increased to over 830% thanks to these factors, with the majority of the growth occurring in the last two months alone. The network’s TVL was last at this height in October 2022.

    Solana: On-Chain Triumph, $120 Target

The price action on Sunday brought an end to weeks of frenetic trade that had propelled the Solana blockchain to the top of the list for on-chain activity, at least momentarily. DefiLlama reports that decentralized exchanges located in Solana are getting close to Uniswap’s trading volumes, which amount to billions of dollars.

There has been a notable increase in demand for the network thus far this month. The chain’s daily count of active addresses reached a year-to-date high of 1.26 million on December 18, according to an evaluation of network activity.

As interest in Solana grows, attracting developers and investors alike, the blockchain’s thriving ecosystem and its function as a hub for speculation should soon boost SOL into the much-coveted $120 level.

The combination of increased activity in the Solana ecosystem and increased speculative interest in the cryptocurrency market provides a convincing story for the continuous increase in SOL’s value.

Solana Saga Orders Scrapped As $30 Million BONK Token Package Overshadows Device's Value

    [ad_1]

Solana (SOL) and its associated meme coin, Bonk (BONK), have witnessed remarkable surges in value, with SOL recording gains of over 71% and Bonk experiencing an astonishing 342% increase over the past 30 days.

The positive growth within the Solana ecosystem has resulted in a surge in demand for the flagship mobile device, Solana Saga. However, the Solana Mobile team recently addressed challenges in meeting the “overwhelming demand” and explained order cancellations and inventory management issues.

    Solana Mobile Faces Inventory Mishap

Over the past month, SOL has seen a significant uptrend, inching closer to the $100 mark, a level not reached since April 2022. Additionally, Bonk has experienced an extraordinary surge reaching a trading value of $0.00001896.

Given these developments and the social buzz within the blockchain and its mobile device, the Solana Mobile team confirmed that their limited inventory of 20,000 devices worldwide has sold out, with both the US and EU markets experiencing high demand.

According to a recent statement on X (formerly Twitter), in the process of fulfilling orders, the Solana Mobile team encountered an “inventory management issue” with their third-party distributor. This issue resulted in an inaccurate representation of the available inventory.

Consequently, the team was unable to fulfill orders placed after the inventory was depleted. Additionally, orders suspected of suspicious activity, such as excessive device orders or payment risks, were flagged and subsequently canceled.

According to the announcement, the objective behind these measures is to ensure that as many users as possible can enjoy the Solana Saga mobile device.

Customers affected by the order cancellations have been promptly notified, and they will receive refunds within the coming days.

Solana’s DEX Volume Overtakes Ethereum And Arbitrum

The Solana ecosystem, together with its native token SOL, has recently achieved significant milestones. Notably, Solana’s 24-hour decentralized exchange (DEX) volume has exceeded that of Ethereum (ETH) and Arbitrum (ARB) combined, surpassing the $2 billion mark.

Additionally, Solana has emerged as the third-largest altcoin (only behind BNB) by market capitalization. These achievements reflect the growing popularity and success of Solana within the cryptocurrency market.

According to Token Terminal data, SOL’s market cap (circulating) stands at $41.05 billion, reflecting a remarkable increase of 46.98%, flipping XRP’s market cap by over $7 billion.

The revenue generated has also witnessed substantial growth, with an 80.43% increase to $2.39 million. Furthermore, SOL’s fully diluted market cap has reached $54.31 billion, showcasing a significant rise of 45.60%.

The revenue generated on the Solana platform, when annualized, amounts to an impressive $29.13 million, signifying a substantial increase of 94.75%.

Examining SOL’s financial ratios, the price-to-fully diluted ratio stands at 796.78x, indicating the market’s high expectations for future growth. However, this ratio has experienced a recent decrease of 19.3%.

  • Crypto Analyst Reveals 10 Top Altcoins To Watch This Week

Crypto Analyst Reveals 10 Top Altcoins To Watch This Week

    [ad_1]

The altcoins market has recently witnessed a resurgence of interest and confidence, primarily driven by the largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC). This renewed enthusiasm has resulted in a bull uptrend, with most of the top 100 cryptocurrencies benefiting from Bitcoin’s resurgence.

However, the market is currently experiencing a correction as Bitcoin and Ethereum (ETH) face pullbacks after failed attempts to breach upper resistance lines. Despite this correction, crypto analyst Miles Deutscher shares insights and highlights several altcoins with potentially significant gains.

SOL Emerges As Safe Haven In Crypto Market Correction

Solana has exhibited remarkable growth, even as the broader market experiences a correction. With a 0.5% gain in the past 24 hours, SOL’s potential for further upside cannot be ignored.

Deutscher suggests that SOL may continue to benefit from the ongoing rotation of investments from other Layer-1 solutions like Avalanche (AVAX) and Fantom (FTM).

Thorchain (RUNE) has been on an impressive upward trajectory, prompting investors to consider buying on deep corrections and wicks. The primary decentralized exchange (DEX) on Thorchain, THOR, has also shown positive movement, further bolstering the growth potential.

Polygon (MATIC) has recently shown signs of strength and has generated whispers within the crypto community about a potential zero-knowledge (ZK) narrative. If this narrative materializes, MATIC, a leader in the space, could attract significant positive flows.

Within the ZK narrative, altcoins like Dusk Network (DUSK), Loopring (LRC), and Mina Protocol (MINA) are poised to benefit. Deutscher believes that each altcoin offers unique strengths and value propositions, and their performance will depend on the strength of the emerging ZK narrative.

Soteria (SEI) has gained attention as it enters the top 10 for volume traded by pairs on Upbit. Considered a “new coin,” SEI exhibits fundamentals similar to the next altcoin on the watchlist.

Tidal Finance (TIA) is a relatively new token similar to the early days of Aptos (APT). The market tends to favor new and innovative tokens, and although TIA’s rally may have started to cool off, it still holds explosive potential. With a current market capitalization of $700 million, TIA remains an intriguing opportunity for investors.

DEX And Gaming Altcoins Poised To Thrive

In addition to altcoins, perp decentralized exchange (DEX) tokens like GMX, DYDX, and Gnosis (GNS) are positioned to benefit from market volatility.

According to Deutscher, these tokens have shown a correlation between price movements and fundamental factors. If volatility persists, these tokens could present favorable medium-term investment opportunities.

Yield Guild Games (YGG) and Gamestarter (GMT), gaming tokens with initial upward movements, are expected to continue outperforming the broader market. These gaming tokens could witness sustained growth with the YGG conference scheduled for November 18.

While the current correction in the cryptocurrency market has led to pullbacks in Bitcoin and Ethereum, the altcoin landscape still offers potential opportunities for investors.

Solana’s continued uptrend, along with the prospects of altcoins like Thorchain, Polygon, and those associated with the ZK narrative, suggest possible avenues for growth. Additionally, emerging tokens like Soteria and Tidal Finance, perp DEX tokens, and gaming tokens may also provide favorable investment prospects.

  • SOL Leads Gains Among Top Coins, Can Bulls Send Price To $40?

SOL Leads Gains Among Top Coins, Can Bulls Send Price To $40?

    [ad_1]

SOL ranks among the bullish cryptocurrencies today, benefitting from the ongoing rally in the crypto market. $40 looks more realistic since SOL overcame the psychological resistance level of $20.

Based on its present trajectory and exciting events in the Solana community, investors wonder if it will attain $40 in the coming days. The technical indicators in the chart below will uncover SOL’s price trajectory in the coming days.

SOL Testing $36.69 Resistance, Will The Bulls Rally To $40?

SOL is in an uptrend on the daily chart, forming a third consecutive green candle as the buyers continue accumulating. Remarkably, SOL flipped the $33.05 resistance level to support on October 30 and is testing the $36.69 support today, October 31.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator displays a value of 77.78, already in the overbought region above 70. The RSI shows no signs of a decline, implying that more buyers are opening long positions for SOL.

Furthermore, the Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD) indicator is above its signal line, displaying a strong buy signal. This signal is confirmed by the green Histogram bars formed on October 30 and today.

Therefore, SOL will likely rally to the $40 resistance level in the coming days if the buyers push it above the $36.69 resistance level.

However, if rejection occurs at $36.69 and the RSI retraces from the overbought level, buyers must apply a trailing stop loss to curtail massive losses.

Nevertheless, SOL looks well positioned to return to $40 based on its strong support level at $33.05. Also, some exciting developments in the Solana community are driving more investors to the ecosystem and boosting SOL’s price.

Solana’s Launch Of Block Explorer Amidst Other Developments

Solana Developers, on October 30, announced that Cymbal’s Human Readable Block Explorer now supports Solana. It’s worth mentioning that Solana has organized over 466,000 NFT projects, has over 10 million active wallets, and tracked over 36 million tokens in real time. The Cymbal AI helps Solana users keep track of their activities with ease and is a welcome development in the ecosystem.

Also, there is much excitement in the crypto community for the ongoing Solana Breakpoint 2023 annual conference that began on October 30. This event is in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with notable speakers taking vital topics surrounding blockchain technology.

The first day of the event featured an address from JavaScript co-founder and Brave CEO Brendan Eich. According to Eich, there are massive integrations with Solana support coming to the Brave browser in 2024. This announcement by the CEO is likely driving the adoption of SOL tokens ahead of a potential price surge above $40.

Additionally, Phantom Mobile announced the creation of an NFT feature not available on their mobile devices but supported by Solana. According to the developers with Camera Mint on Phantom Mobile, users can instantly convert photos and videos into Solana NFTs using the app.

The diversity of the Solana ecosystem makes it ideal for most investors since its tokens are still quite affordable. Therefore, SOL could rally in the coming days if the buyers continue the ongoing accumulation phase.

  • Solana Price Surge: Analysts Predict Target Zones Of $69 – $123 In Coming Months

Solana Price Surge: Analysts Predict Target Zones Of $69 – $123 In Coming Months

    [ad_1]

Solana price (SOL) has recently showcased an impressive performance, setting new records as it regains its bullish momentum.

After experiencing a significant decline since July 14, SOL has emerged as one of the top-performing cryptocurrencies, trailing only behind Pepecoin (PEPE) and Chainlink (LINK) in terms of gains in the past 24 hours.

With sustained upward movement, SOL has surged by 8.9% in the past day, 39% in the past week, a remarkable 51% in the last two weeks, and 68% in just 30 days.

    Solana Price Potential Unveiled

The recent surge in Solana price has caught the attention of crypto enthusiasts and analysts alike. The 8.9% increase in the past 24 hours has propelled SOL to outperform most other cryptocurrencies in the top 100 list.

On this matter, renowned crypto analyst “Titan of Crypto” has shed light on the anticipated target zones for Solana in the months ahead.

According to the Titan of Crypto’s in-depth analysis, SOL has the potential to achieve a price range between $69 and $123. These projections reflect the optimistic outlook surrounding Solana’s future performance and market prospects.

However, despite recently attaining a new yearly high for 2023 and surpassing its monthly resistance level, Solana’s price faces several obstacles that could impact the realization of these projections in the upcoming months.

It is important to note that Solana’s price has reached levels not witnessed since the collapse of the FTX crypto exchange back in November 2022. These factors contribute to the existing resistance that Solana needs to overcome for the anticipated scenario to materialize.

SOL’s Next Resistance Level Presents 9% Upside Potential

What is particularly encouraging for Solana bulls is the potential for further growth in the near term, despite the upcoming challenges that may lie ahead for the cryptocurrency’s price.

Currently, the next significant resistance level stands at $36.86. If the current bullish momentum continues, there is a possibility for another leg-up of approximately 9% once this resistance is breached.

Should Solana successfully surpass this hurdle, the subsequent obstacles for SOL are positioned at $37, $39, $43, and $46 in the months to come. However, for the token to solidify the breakout of its monthly resistance and sustain the upward trend, it is crucial to achieve a monthly close above the $32 mark.

This emphasis on a monthly close above $32 serves as a key metric to confirm the bullish momentum and support the ongoing upward trajectory of Solana. Market participants will be closely monitoring these developments to assess the token’s ability to maintain its positive momentum and overcome potential challenges in the future.

According to CoinGecko data, the current Solana price stands at $33.00. The trading volume for the past 24 hours amounts to $1,668,696,328.50. With a total supply of 420 million SOL tokens, Solana’s market capitalization is valued at $13,631,609,298.
