    Production has wrapped on the upcoming Disney+ series The Acolyte, and while it is the Star Wars show we know the least about, the cast is amazing and we have a release date for the series! And after the footage shown at Star Wars Celebration 2023, you’ll want to get excitd.

    Set prior to the prequels, The Acolyte brings us into an era of Star Wars we rarely explore, meaning that we’re going to have quite a journey with the new series from Leslye Headland, who serves as creator, showrunner, and executive producer.

    For the most part, this is a completely new world for us to dive into, and getting to learn about the story and who we’re going to meet—versus the rest of the Star Wars era on Disney+, where we know most of those characters already—is honestly part of the draw to the series.

    When will Star Wars: The Acolyte premiere?

    News broke in an exclusive to Collider that the series will have a summer 2024 release date! This marks the first live-action Star Wars show to air on Disney+ this year! Following the release of The Bad Batch‘s third season (which will air until May of 2024), we’ll be shifting our Star Wars gears to the High Republic area!

    There are shows in this world that exist and you think to yourself “Oh yes, that’s for me” and well, that’s the trailer for The Acolyte. The Leslye Headland-created series takes us to a time in the world of the Jedi when they weren’t at the end of their reign and when they weren’t in hiding. We get to see the beginning of their demise, and it is just a look into what Headland and company have planned for us—and one that really just speaks to the prequel kid in all of us.

    It’s one of those trailers where the minute you see a little alien you barely know show up, you just know you’re going to die for them. And honestly, I would. Every brief character we get to meet in the teaser for The Acolyte brings us closer to understanding more about the series.

    Focusing on Carrie-Anne Moss as a Jedi, the teaser introduces us to quite a few characters. Including Manny Jacinto and Amandla Stenberg, the look into the series, frankly, brings a lot of hope along with it. It is by far the upcoming Star Wars series that fans know the least about, and it is because we’re diving into unknown territory. We have never leapt into the world before Anakin in live action, and seeing the Jedi before they were completely falling apart is a fascinating time for fans.

    Headland presented the trailer with Joonas Suotamo as a new Wookie Jedi Master, as well as most of the cast!!! And it was met with fans of Star Wars excited to see what this new series holds for them. While we don’t know much about the characters we’re meeting in The Acolyte, there is something to get excited about: Trinity as a Jedi. Even if she is seemingly fighting against Rue from The Hunger Games.

    Seeing Carrie-Anne Moss in action really does, in a lot of ways, make this teaser so incredibly special. For fans of Moss’ work in both The Matrix franchise as well as her role in Jessica Jones and beyond, seeing her in anything is great. But in Star Wars where she is an absolute badass? It’s something we’ve been waiting to see again on our screens.

    And she’s pairing off with Stenberg, who is phenomenal in this trailer. It just all really ties together in a way that makes it so fans can be excited for the future of Star Wars and what The Acolyte has to bring to us, which includes Lee Jung-jae as a Jedi and Jodie Turner-Smith looking like the royalty she is. “This isn’t about good or bad. This is about power and who is allowed to use it,” Turner-Smith’s character says and … it is such an exciting look into where Star Wars is heading!

    The Star Wars: The Acolyte cast, though

    When we talk about casts in Star Wars properties, they’re usually some of the biggest names in Hollywood, either before or after their appearance in the galaxy far, far away. And The Acolyte is no different. Each new casting announcement brings more talent and brilliance to the show, and I can’t wait!

    The press release announced the cast additions as follows:

    Joining the previously announced Amandla Stenberg (“The Hate U Give”) are Emmy Award-winner Lee Jung-jae (“Squid Game”), Manny Jacinto (“Nine Perfect Strangers”), Dafne Keen (“His Dark Materials”), Jodie Turner-Smith (“Queen & Slim”), Rebecca Henderson (“Inventing Anna”), Charlie Barnett (“Russian Doll”), Dean-Charles Chapman (“1917”) and Carrie-Anne Moss (“The Matrix”).”

    What is the plot of Star Wars: The Acolyte?

    As I said up above, we don’t know much aside from the setting—the High Republic era of the Jedi—so the plot is very much up in the air, which is different from shows like Andor, which has very clear connections to stories we already know and that dictate how it turns out, to an extent. In fact, The Acolyte‘s setting is at the end of the time when the Jedi were at their greatest, and to me, that’s the coolest part about the lead-up to this series. It isn’t something we know a little about; it is all new.

    We did get a bit of insight into the show with the press release, which describes the series as follows: “The Acolyte is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.”

    Who is behind Star Wars: The Acolyte?

    The Acolyte was created by Leslye Headland, whose previous credits include the indie dark comedy Bachelorette and the highly acclaimed Netflix series Russian Doll. Headland will also be directing episodes of the series, according to Discussing Film. They also broke the news that After Yang director Kogonada and The Witcher director Alex Garcia Lopez will be directing episodes for the series. Nothing is certain as the news came directly from Discussing Film, but both Kogonada and Alex Garcia Lopez would be incredible additions to the Star Wars world!

    Until we get to see The Acolyte this summer, we can at least look forward to the story it’s going to tell us!

    Percy Jackson and the Olympians can be seen as an educational introduction to the gods and goddesses of Ancient Greek myth. The show has already introduced us to one of them, Dionysus, god of wine, festivities, theatre, and even madness, but episode three gave us a quick glimpse at one moreーHermes.

    Greek mythology has remained incredibly popular to this day, with stories of the exploits of the gods still taught and shared in the Western world. The stories of the gods are certainly entertaining with the Ancient Greeks imbuing them with classic human foibles. Zeus is a habitual philanderer, Poseidon is known for his atrocious temper, Hera her intense jealousy and horrific punishments. All the gods fall short of perfection, each of them having flaws which only makes the stories surrounding them so much more fun.

    The author of the books from which the series is adapted, Rick Riordan, knows this all too well and has continued the god’s, and demi-gods, journeys in our modern-day world through his novels. Many of the gods feature in his books, yet, by the third episode of the Disney+ series, we have only been properly introduced to one, Mr. D or Dionysus, played by Jason Mantzoukas. The ending, however, did give us a glimpse at another god, Hermes, played by the wonderfully well-cast Lin-Manuel Miranda.

    Who is Hermes in Greek mythology?

    Hermes is the offspring of Zeus and the Pleiad, Maia (yet another one of Zeus’ many flings), and he is a god of many things. One of his many titles is god of tricks as the moment he was born and his mother was asleep, he crept away to steal his half-brother Apollo’s sheep. He drove them backward to confuse anyone looking and bound his feet in twigs so as not to leave any footprints. He was soon discovered but feigned innocence due to the fact he was literally born yesterday. Eventually, he managed to quell his brother’s anger by offering an instrument he had made out of a tortoise shell, inventing the lyre.

    In just two days, Hermes became known as the god of tricksters, god of thieves, and the protector of travelers and shepherds. He was also given the position of messenger to the gods and would use his winged sandals (which appear in the Disney+ series as winged basketball shoes) to deliver things around Olympus. Hermes was also tasked with delivering the souls of the dead to the Underworld. And here I thought that I was busy!

    Hermes appears often in Ancient Greek mythology, assisting his father with a task that Zeus was unable to carry out himself, one of which was to rescue his unborn half-brother Dionysus from his mother’s womb as she perished in flames. He also assists mortals with their own tasks on Earth, such as aiding Odysseus in getting home after the battle of Troy. Hermes is a man of the people, or god of the people, or man of the gods, either way, he is a helpful deity to know.

    Why is Lin-Manuel Miranda such a good fit?

    You must have been living under a rock for the past decade if you don’t know who Lin-Manuel Miranda is at this point. The actor, songwriter, and all-around lyrical genius has changed the landscape of musical theatre with musicals such as Hamilton and In the Heights, something he then did for animated movies when he created the soundtracks for Disney’s Moana and Encanto. Miranda has won three Tony Awards, three Emmy Awards, and five Grammy Awards as well as two Academy Award nominations.

    At the end of Percy Jackson episode three, we glimpse Miranda as the messenger god Hermes. He delivers a box containing the head of the Gorgon Medusa to Mt. Olympus with a wry smile on his face.

    Miranda is a great casting for the trickster god for many reasons. For starters, Miranda has an innocent quality to his appearance, something that Hermes has utilized in the past to get himself out of trouble. Secondly, Miranda is known for his fast and witty lyrics, perfect for the silver-tongued trickster god. We got to witness a brief moment of his musical talent on his elevator ride up to Olympus as he hummed along to the 80s tune, “Arthur’s Theme”.

    Miranda also excels at playing lovable, sometimes cheeky, characters, (check him out as Lee Scoresby in His Dark Materials) and Hermes is certainly that. Upon arriving at Olympus he exits the elevator with the package and says to his fellow gods, “You guys are not going to believe this.”

    Though Hermes never appeared in Riordan’s first book, which is what the first season is adapting, his inclusion in the series is a welcome one. I was sure happy to see him! It does beg the question if we will see more of him this season, especially given his connection to Luke and what is to come in that avenue. We also have plenty more gods to meet before the season is done.

    I pray to Dionysus (also the god of theatre and entertainment) that we will see more of Miranda in the episodes to come!

    Your Google Business Profile is a prime piece of virtual real estate, and it’s free. Simply sign up using an existing Google account and either claim an existing listing or create a new one. Once you can access your profile, you can optimize it to attract local customers — people looking for products/services online and those interested in visiting a physical location. A well-executed one will attract more organic traffic, phone calls, leads and, ultimately, more customers.

    Even though the final seasons of Game of Thrones were a masterclass in “how to completely trash your multimillion dollar series and almost eradicate its cultural impact,” it’s undeniable that the show based on George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire books did define the 2010s. I say this with all the bitterness of someone who was very disappointed and is still knee-deep in Westerosi lore, because sadly I love my Targaryens way too much to abandon them.

    All of this to say that after spending so much time following the political and familial intrigues spinning around the most uncomfortable chair in the Seven Kingdoms you might be on the lookout for something similar. So, banning the most obvious answer—being House of the Dragon, Game of Thrones’s own prequel spin-off set some two hundred years before Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow—here is a guide to fifteen shows that could manage the task of immersing you in Game of Thrones vibes.

    I, of course, picked each of them because they had certain elements in common with Game of Thrones—so for your convenience, those elements have been turned into the sections into which this guide is divided. So it’s easier for you to choose what to watch if you want to lean more into Game of Thrones’s fantasy elements or its political intrigue, its family drama or its historical setting.

    The period dramas

    Black Sails (Starz, 2014-2017)

    One of the most brilliant and most criminally underrated pieces of television I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing, Black Sails acts as a prequel to the events in Robert Luis Stevenson’s famous novel Treasure Island, exploring what happened to the likes of James Flint, John Silver and Billy Bones long before Jim Hawkins stepped into the picture.

    Set during the Golden Age of piracy in the waters around Nassau, the show revolves around a magnificent cast of characters—which includes real historical pirates like Calico Jack and Anne Bonny—struggling to find their place in a world where the British Empire becomes ever more domineering and life-altering. 

    While lacking Game of Thrones’s most fantasy-esque elements, Black Sails’ four seasons feature both incredible violence and powerful reflections on the role that stories play in shaping the lives and histories of people—you know, what showrunners Benioff and Weiss were trying to do in Season 8 and spectacularly failed. 

    Vikings (History & Amazon Prime Video, 2013-2020)

    I feel like you can’t have a list featuring bloody period dramas without mentioning the OG Viking show—the aptly-named Vikings. Its six seasons follow Ragnar Lothbrok—based on legendary Viking chief Ragnar Lodbrok—and his family as they start the wave of Viking explorations and raids in Britain and later France.

    You’ll get your fill of bloody battles and executions with Vikings, that’s for sure, but I would say that its most Game of Thrones-esque features are its heart wrenching family dynamics as Ragnar’s family drifts closer and then apart, children and brothers dispersing around the world.

    The White Queen (BBC, 2013) 

    It’s no secret that George R.R. Martin looked at English history to get his inspiration for the events of A Song of Ice and Fire—and while there are many period dramas set in late Middle Ages to early Renaissance England, The White Queen is probably one of the best there is. The first of a long series of shows based on author Philippa Gregory’s historical novels, its story opens right in the middle of the War of the Roses, spanning the reigns of Kings Edward IV and Richard III.

    Brilliantly acted and with spectacular costumes, The White Queen’s court intrigues—spun by powerful women who might not sit on the throne but who very much change the course of battles and dynasties—will definitely remind you of all the game of throning that happens within the halls of the Red Keep.

    The Borgias (Showtime, 2011-2013)

    We all know that twins Jaime and Cersei Lannister have a much closer relationship than any pair of siblings should have, but you know what historical figures could basically be considered their real-life counterparts? Cesare and Lucrezia Borgia, two of Pope Alexander VI’s children, who lived in Renaissance Rome. While accusations of incest between the two have never really been proved, the rumours made their names famous throughout Italy and Europe both during their lifetimes and beyond—so much so that it’s no surprise that they were turned into the subject of a period drama.

    The Borgias follows the family throughout Pope Alexander’s ascension to the Holy See and his children’s tumultuous marriages. You’ll definitely find all the intrigue and the backstabbing you oh-so-loved in Game of Thrones here. 

    Outlander (Starz, 2014-ongoing)

    Outlander is the perfect show to close this section and bring us into the next one, dedicated to stories that are more firmly within the fantasy genre. And that’s because while Outlander could be considered a period piece, with its first season starting out before the Scottish Jacobite rising in towards the half of the 18th century, the inciting incident that kicks off the entire story is an undeniably fantasy one—Claire Beauchamp, an English nurse who served in World War II, is magically transported back in time by touching a ring of enchanted rocks during a holiday in the Highlands.

    Once she “lands” in the very same place but two centuries earlier than her time, her life becomes entangled with the historical events that are about to happen as well as with a charming Highlander by the name of Jamie Fraser.

    The fantasy and fantasy-adjacent pieces

    The Witcher (Netflix, 2019-ongoing)

    The release of The Witcher coincided with the final beats of Game of Thrones, meaning that everyone rushed to dub Netflix’s series as “the new GoT.” Which I feel is not fair to either show, since they share some common traits but also quite a handful of differences. While both Game of Thrones and The Witcher are fantasy shows, the most genre-typical elements—magic, monsters, dragons, you name it—are much more centre-stage in The Witcher than in Game of Thrones, which tried to remain somewhat anchored in reality even as dragons and White Walkers started to roam the realm.

    That means, however, that if you were a fan of Game of Thrones’s more fantasy scenes you’ll definitely find that The Witcher has all of them and more—while political intrigue is somewhat reduced as the adventures of lone-grunting-man Gerald of Rivia are more solitary.

    His Dark Materials (BBC, 2019-2022)

    Based on Philip Pullman’s trilogy of the same name, His Dark Materials might be the most out-there rec on this list so far. Even though the time periods in which the two shows are set in are wildly different—with Game of Thrones being medieval and His Dark Materials definitely post-Industrial Revolution—they do share some similarities that I think make HDM deserving of a spot on this list. 

    Both shows, for example, have fantasy elements that are dictated by the worldbuilding of their respective settings—and the bond between humans and their daemons might be just what you need if you loved the relationship the Stark children had with their direwolves, or Daenerys with her dragons. Let’s not forget the great big conflict at the heart of His Dark Materials, made of world-altering secrets kept by powerful organizations—not exactly court intrigues but equally entertaining.

    The Untamed (Tencent Video, 2019)

    Originally released on the Chinese streaming website Tencent Video, The Untamed is available on a wide range of streaming platforms—from Netflix to Prime Video—and you should definitely get on it if you like warring clans thirsting for power, sword duels fuelled by supernatural abilities and love stories that defy space and time. Set in a mythical past where clans of cultivators—people who train in martial and mystical arts to be able to exorcise demons, to put it simply—are everywhere, the story follows two young men as they come together, are driven apart by conflict and then reunite after everything seemed lost.

    It has all of the plotting and backstabbing that we loved from Game of Thrones, as well as its complex characters that are misguided and stumble on their way to do good or that straight up just stop an nothing and no one to come out on top. 

    The Wheel of Time (Amazon Prime Video, 2021-ongoing)

    Amazon Prime Video’s series is fresh off of its second season and it’s as high fantasy as they come. Based on the series of books of the same name by Robert Jordan (and Brandon Sanderson), The Wheel of Time features everything you would expect from one of the founding stories of the fantasy genre—an unspeakable evil that returns throughout the cycles of time, heroes destined for glory or destruction, magical sisterhoods, epic battles.

    It’s definitely a lot more classical fantasy than Game of Thrones, but if you enjoyed the bits of magic we got to see throughout Westeros and Essos then you’ll love the amped-up version that The Wheel of Time offers you.

    Foundation (Apple TV, 2021-ongoing)

    While Foundation, based on the series of novels of the same name by genre-defining author Isaac Asimov, is not technically a fantasy, the fact that it’s closer to a space opera—à la Star Wars or Dune—rather than Star Trek-like sci-fi means that it still has several of the elements we’ve grown used to in fantasy shows like Game of Thrones.

    Set in a future where the galactic empire is ruled by a genetic dynasty of clone Emperors and a scientist discovers psychohistory, a blend of mathematics and history that can predict the larger waves of the future of humanity, each gorgeous-looking episode of Foundation is filled with details that will remind you of Game of Thrones—including ruthless rulers, plotting servants, sweeping religious organisations and heroes fighting to bring forward a change that will save the world.

    The family histories

    Succession (HBO, 2018-2023)

    At its core, Game of Thrones is about families as much as it is about desperate fights for power. And like any story in which a single group of people wields a ton of influence, the relationship between the various members of that family is ultimately what shapes the world at large— sometimes with tragic consequences. 

    So if you liked this particular aspect of Game of Thrones the best, then you’ll find that some of those dynamics return in Succession, HBO’s dark comedy about the heirs to a global media conglomerate. All the thrones and heads on spikes might be metaphorical rather than literal, but the intrigue is still there— only this time is dressed in suits rather than armour.

    1923 (Paramount+, 2022-ongoing)

    1923 is part of the Yellowstone universe, created by Taylor Sheridan—the story of the fictional Dutton family from when they established themselves in Montana in the 19th century after having joined a wagon train on the trail West, to the modern-day in which they are the state’s largest landowners and do all sorts of illegal things to keep it that way.

    While one could argue that the original Yellowstone series is also a very good entry for this list—with the show being described as “Succession but make it Montana ranchers”—I still prefer 1923, which currently slots in the middle between Yellowstone and 1883, of which it acts as a prequel and a sequel respectively. It really has it all—family drama and love stories, disputes over land and livestock, and the undeniable charm of a period piece.

    The Sopranos (HBO, 2001-2008)

    The Sopranos can arguably be considered the true start of the so-called “golden age of television,” of which Game of Thrones is—or was—a shining example. The story of Tony Soprano, caught between his mobster empire, his family and his therapy sessions, is pretty much a textbook family epic—one that will definitely remind you of Game of Thrones with its high stakes, conflicts, and violence.

    The Crown (Netflix, 2016-ongoing)

    Family drama might be one thing, but royal family drama is a different beast entirely—as perfectly exemplified by the Netflix megahit The Crown, telling the story of Queen Elizabeth II’s life from her ascension to the throne to her later years, caught between the divorce battles of her children. 

    While all the blood in The Crown is metaphorical—you won’t see any of the British royals literally gut each other at dinner—the struggles and conflicts that the characters go through, trying to find space for their own desires under the ever-watchful eye of royal protocol, are no less vicious than the ones you see in Game of Thrones.

    Peaky Blinders (BBC, 2013-2022)

    Throughout the course of the show’s six seasons, the long coats and tweed caps of the Peaky Blinders gang have become recognised far and wide throughout the Internet. The show follows the story of the Shelby family-slash-crime gang, led by Cillian Murphy’s Tommy Shelby and Helen McCrory Polly Gray, as it moves upwards into the post-World War II society of Birmingham and wider England.

    You’ll find the same amount of family drama as Game of Thrones, with characters trying to balance their business and their non-inconsiderable power with their familial bonds, and also the same amount of violence, blood and gore. They don’t call them “blinders” for nothing, after all.

    The Jedi of Star Wars are like the knights or samurai of the future (but also somehow in the past). Many regard them as heroes who defend the galaxy against the evil Sith with their trusty glowing blades. They have a strong connection to the Force and can use it to manipulate the world around them. To be a true Jedi, you must follow a strict code that eschews strong feelings and personal attachment.

    Even though the Jedi can be a flawed group, we all have our favorites. Although all the Jedi have their strong points, some are more powerful than others. I have a theory that Jedi only get stronger with the next generation because the Force keeps building. Some Jedi have to walk, so others can run. So, going off of canon Jedi, I have compiled a list of the most powerful folks to wield a lightsaber.

    15. Grogu

    Grogu isn’t technically a Jedi, I know. He trained only for a short time, then went rogue. But he is very powerful in the Force. Since we do not know much about Grogu and Yoda, it may be that they are all this strongly connected to the Force, especially at a young age. Either way, Grogu could rank higher on the list if he ever goes back to training.

    14. Aayla Secura

    Aayla Secura in Star Wars.

    Aayla Secura is a Twi’lek Jedi Master featured in the prequel movies and The Clone Wars. Her powers with the Force may not be extraordinary, but her overall skills as a warrior are. Sadly, she led a group of troopers when Order 66 occurred and the brainwashed clones murdered her.

    13. Kit Fisto

    Kit Fisto had a lot of skill with a lightsaber. Because of his genetics, not only could he fight well on land, but he could also take that same skill underwater. However, his connection to the Force didn’t seem much higher than the average Jedi.

    12. Plo Koon

    Plo Koon is another Jedi Master who sadly died during Order 66. Like several of the other Jedi, he was a skilled warrior and pilot. Unlike the others, Pl Koon seemed to have a stronger connection to the telekinetic abilities. Too bad we didn’t get to see more of his skills.

    11. Ezra Bridger

    Ezra Bridger is considered to be a prodigy in the Force. He’s a character that we have now seen in the animated Rebels show and the live-action Ahsoka where he had some impressive moves. His training hasn’t been consistent, otherwise, he would probably be higher on the list. Something unique about Ezra and the Force is that it allows him to connect with animals. Just that power alone could do great things.

    10. Count Dooku

    Before Dooku fell to the dark side, he was one of the best Jedi with a lightsaber. He matched Mace Windu in ability and only Yoda could defeat him. But he went Sith and ruined his chances of being higher on the list.

    9. Quinlan Vos

    Quinlan Vos had a lot of skill with a lightsaber. But his power ranking more lies with his Force ability. Not only could he use Force telekinesis, but he connected to the Force on a deeper level, where he could feel a person’s thoughts or emotions from an object they had touched. Using this, he could track people with ease. Also, he used the Force to hide that he had turned to the dark side. But his betrayal of the Jedi code forced him lower on the list.

    8. Ahsoka Tano

    Trained in the Force by her two dads, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano is very powerful in the Force. She uses the Force to increase her agility during duels (that she does with two blades) and can use telekinesis with skill, including using a Force choke.

    The Force even came to her through visions of the future and this allows her to communicate telepathically with other Force-sensitive beings. If she had stayed with the Jedi longer (and I support her decision in every way), and if Order 66 never happened, she may have surpassed more Jedi on the list.

    7. Mace Windu

    Besides just being cool (and having the only purple lightsaber), Mace Windu is one of the top Jedi duelists of all time. A powerful handle on Force telekinesis, Windu also mastered the Jedi mind trick. Maybe because of his ability to see the future, he never trusted Anakin fully, knowing he would eventually fall to the dark side. Although Windu is exceptional, he just doesn’t reach the same level as the other Jedi on the list.

    6. Obi-Wan Kenobi

    Obi-Wan Kenobi (a.k.a. Ben Kenobi or Daddy-Wan Kenobi) is the grand-padawan of Count Dooku, the padawan of Qui-Gon Jinn. He trained both Anakin Skywalker and Anakin’s son, Luke. But Kenobi was more than a trainer. He used the Force (and his silver tongue) to mind-trick people and help negotiations during the war.

    Also, he used his deep connection to the Force to lift large objects. With his power and lightsaber dueling abilities, he even defeated Darth Vader (not Anakin because those two would never fight). I also stand by the theory that Vader didn’t kill Kenobi. Kenobi just stopped existing since he was sick of dealing with Skywalker-related drama. One man (even a master Jedi) can only take so much.

    5. Ben Solo

    Before Ben Solo thought his Uncle Luke Skywalker was out to kill him, he was on the path to becoming an ultra-powerful Jedi. As the child of Leia Skywalker, the Force was strong in Ben. Lucky for him, Luke was there to teach him. Ben’s power could have met that of Luke’s, but egos and daddy issues got in the way, as they tend to do in Star Wars. Although Kylo Ren is still powerful, his chaotic anger never equaled what his power good have been if he stayed on the path of the Jedi.

    4. Anakin Skywalker

    Many great Jedi believed Anakin Skywalker was the chosen one to bring balance to the Force. His connection to the Force and skill with a lightsaber exceeds most Jedi. Watching Anakin duel is a thing of beauty, especially when he combines his physical skills and the Force.

    If the Jedi understood Anakin’s raw power more, or if he had more hugs from Obi-Wan, he could have outranked all the other Jedi. However, his emotions and power were not channeled correctly (I could literally write a Ted Talk on this), and we got Darth Vader instead of an ultimate Jedi.

    3. Yoda

    Yoda is a lean, green Force machine. The oldest and wisest of the Jedi, Yoda has had 900 years to hone the Force to his needs. Whether it is lightsaber battles, telekineses, or feeling the will of the Force, he’s got it all on lockdown. He trained many of the legendary Jedi, including Dooku and Luke Skywalker. Yet even with his advanced age, his ability didn’t eclipse some younger Jedi.

    As a result, you don’t know whether the keywords you’re choosing are optimal because there’s no frame of reference. To fix this, you should cast a wider net and find as many keywords as possible. Think 200 to 300 keywords that provide you with enough content material for the next few years.
