On Jan. 11, National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, Website Depot partakes in activities to support the cause, warn others of the dangers of human trafficking, and stand with those who hope to ultimately end human trafficking. 

    Started by the Department of Homeland Security, 2023 will be the Blue Campaign’s largest initiative. According to the DHS website, The Blue Campaign is a national public awareness campaign designed to educate those in law enforcement, lawmakers, businesses, and the general public about the prevalence of human trafficking, how to become aware of it, and how to take appropriate actions against it. 

    To participate in #WearBlueDay, the Blue Campaign and Website Depot invite the public to take photos of themselves, friends, family, and colleagues wearing blue clothing and share them on social media – Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram – along with (the) #WearBlueDay hashtag. According to DHS organizers, anyone and everyone are welcome to participate, regardless of location.

    The Heart Walk is an annual event by the American Heart Association to raise funds to prevent and fight heart disease and strokes. The event takes place in several cities around the USA. Digital Marketing Agency from Los Angeles Websites Depot will be present in the Orange County edition of the Heart & Stroke Walk participating on the walk itself, donating and doing a fundraiser on their own.

    The 2019 Orange County Heart & Stroke Walk will take place in the city of Anaheim, California. The event gathers walkers, donors and volunteers to raise funds in order to help fight heart disease and stroke. According to the American Association Heart Walk web page, their mission is ‘building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke’.

    With these walks, the American Heart Association aims to ‘improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent while reducing deaths from cardiovascular disease and stroke by 20 percent’ by the year 2020. For this reason, they set a goal of raising $2,500,000. Aside from the walk itself, there will be an Expo, Kids Zone, water and snacks as well as free parking at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim, the place where the walk will start.
