  • Sydney Sweeney & Scooter Braun Surprised By Their Connection

    [ad_1]

An insider recently claimed that things are getting “serious” between Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney. The duo has been romantically linked since June 2025, when they were spotted hanging out together in Italy, following Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding. Their latest outings and information through sources have further fueled these romance rumors.

Sources share Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun relationship update

An insider shared an update about Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun’s relationship exclusively with US Weekly. They said, “Things are getting serious and it’s very real. Neither of them expected it to turn into something serious at first and are surprised by how genuine the connection has become.” They further revealed that despite Sweeney’s busy schedule, they have been making time for one another.

“They have been spending time together in L.A. this last month and making time in between Sydney’s busy press tour and Euphoria filming,” they said. The source also claims that Braun is supportive of her life and career, which is one of the things that Sweeney likes about him. They said, “Scooter is extremely supportive, and that is one of the reasons why she is so drawn to him. He’s deeply interested in her career and life, and [he] often offers valuable perspective and guidance that she really appreciates.”

Last month, similar information from sources surfaced about Braun and Sweeney’s dating status. At the time, a source told US Weekly that the duo “are dating, and it has become more serious.” The insider further elaborated, “Still not putting a label on it, but Sydney has been having a lot of fun with Scooter. It has been low-pressure for both of them and has been a different relationship for Sydney. Scooter has introduced her to new perspectives, especially when it comes to business.” The source also claimed that Braun gave Sweeney a new perspective, encouraging her to explore opportunities and “ways of thinking” she hadn’t considered before.

  • Sydney Sweeney Spotted Sneaking Into Ex-Fiancé Jonathan Davino’s Car Before SCREAMING At Him In Tense Reunion! – Perez Hilton

    [ad_1]

Sydney Sweeney and her ex-fiancé just had a very tense reunion…

It’s been months since the Euphoria star and her ex Jonathan Davino called off their engagement, but tensions are clearly still running hot… On Sunday, TMZ reported the Anyone But You actress hit up eatery Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica with friends on Saturday night to catch Game 7 of the 2025 World Series… But the night took a sharp turn when she left the establishment and met up with her ex.

According to the outlet, Syd hopped into an Uber SUV after leaving the hotspot and had the driver chauffeur her just a few blocks away where her ex-fiancé was reportedly parked. There, she exited the Uber and snuck into Jonathan’s rig and the two drove off together.

But the story doesn’t end there…

According to a source who was reportedly near Sydney’s residence when the pair arrived there, she got out of the car and screamed at Jonathan:

“I don’t believe you. Please leave, leave me alone.”

    Yikes!

It’s not clear what the pair were seemingly arguing about, but in paparazzi photos obtained by TMZ, the Madame Web star can be seen ducking and attempting to shield her face while sneaking into Jonathan’s car. See HERE.

This isn’t the first time Sydney and Jonathan have been spotted together post-split, but it’s definitely the most tense reunion of theirs we’ve heard of… Back in August, the Christy star told the Wall Street Journal in an interview that she aimed to continue working with her ex through their Fifty-Fifty Films production company despite their split:

“I’m going to keep all of my personal stuff out of it.”

This all comes amid reports that Sydney is moving on from the producer with Justin Bieber’s former manager Scooter Braun.

  • What’s Going on With Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun?

    [ad_1]

We’ve all seen the pictures. She looks absolutely beautiful. And he’s there.

Ithaca Holdings’ latest acquisition? Sydney Sweeney’s phone number. Sweeney and Scooter Braun were spotted on a cozy pizza and pasta date in Los Angeles September 24. TMZ got pics of the two at Jon & Vinny’s (the same restaurant where Jeffrey Katzenberg met a former LA City Council Member to discuss his plan to solve homelessness by making it illegal to sit on the sidewalk). It’s the first public outing for the potential couple, but there have been stories in the ‘bloids about them for a while.

Braun and Sweeney reportedly met at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice. A source told Page Six that Braun was “obsessed” with Sweeney. People says the pair are “causally” dating, and celebrated Sweeney’s birthday together earlier this month. “He’s not really her type, but she enjoyed the attention,” one source said. While another source said his main attraction was being “easy to be around.” Please, sources! You’re going to make Braun blush with all this fawning praise.

  • OMG! Sydney Sweeney & Scooter Braun Really ARE Dating!! – Perez Hilton

    [ad_1]

    Well we’ll be damned!

Over the weekend, rumors exploded across social media that Sydney Sweeney was dating controversial talent manager Scooter Braun. All the chatter stemmed from footage resurfacing of them hanging out at Jeff Bezos’ wedding extravaganza in Venice, Italy earlier this summer, but there wasn’t much to the rumor beyond that.

We thought for sure it was just ridiculous speculation. But it turns out it was TRUE! At least according to the latest sources…

Related: Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Are Not In ‘The Wedding Planning Phase’ Yet

On Tuesday, TMZ confirmed that the Euphoria star is indeed dating the record executive! An insider told them the pair first met at the wedding, but they were unsure of when they actually started seeing each other. Sources did, however, make clear they aren’t a serious couple or anything; they’ve been on multiple dates but are keeping things “casual”:

“Sydney has just ended a relationship and she’s doing what women in their 20’s do — she’s dating.”

There have been rumblings about the in-demand actress been linked to other guys, though none quite so concrete as this.

As we’ve been following, Sydney broke off her engagement to fiancé Jonathan Davino, 42, earlier this year and has been the most eligible bachelorette in Hollywood ever since! And Scooter was the guy she went with? Huh. We guess she has a thing for men in their 40s. She’s 27, and he’s 44!

Fans mostly reacted with disgust after the rumors spread, with Scooter being persona non grata among Swifties (who make up a pretty darn big part of the population!) after what he did to Taylor Swift!

But what are YOUR reactions to this news, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments down below!

  • Scooter Braun Is Finally Quitting His High School Job

Scooter Braun Is Finally Quitting His High School Job

    [ad_1]

Not to be all “in this economy,” but in this economy, it’s rare to see someone hold onto the same job for more than a few years, let alone 23 of them. Scooter Braun, however, has been a music manager for that long, beginning with, according to him, an Atlanta-based rapper called Cato, when Braun was 19.

On Monday, Braun announced in a lengthy statement on his Instagram that he would be retiring from music management. “Along the way I have had so many experiences I could never have dreamt of,” he wrote.

    Instagram content

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

Braun, whose retirement announcement came the day before his 43rd birthday, said in the post that he had been “blessed to have had a Forrest Gump–like life while witnessing and taking part in the journeys of some of the most extraordinarily talented people the world has ever seen.”

Explaining his decision to shift gears, he wrote, “For my entire adult life I played the role of an artist manager on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. And for 20 years I loved it. It’s all I had known.”

But hold the phone, didn’t he say he had been a manager for twenty-three years? Yeah, about those last three.

“Over the past two years I have been heading towards this destination, but it wasn’t until last summer that this new chapter became a reality,” he wrote. “One of my biggest clients and friends told me that they wanted to spread their wings and go in a new direction. We had been through so much together over the last decade, but instead of being hurt I saw it as a sign.”

Braun did not name the client specifically, but the dots are not so hard to connect: Ariana Grande fired him as her manager last summer, with Puck reporting that the tipping point came when Grande was going through a very public separation from her husband while Braun was on vacation. One guess on the year Grande signed with him originally, and do not pass go, do not collect $200 if that guess is not 2013. Soon after, reports emerged of Idina Menzel, J Balvin, and Demi Lovato also ditching Braun, not to mention Justin Bieber sniffing around for new management. Taylor Swift fans were also familiar with the name, due to the long-simmering feud between the two over the ownership of her masters and the “incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at [Braun’s] hands for years,” as she wrote on Tumblr in 2019. In fact, she has credited his control of the tapes with inspiring her to rerecord her older albums and release the (Taylor’s Version) records. (In response, Braun later said he was “firmly against anyone ever being bullied.”)

Now, in Braun’s words, he’s entering his “father first, a CEO second, and a manager no more” era.

Scooter Braun announces he’s retiring from music management – National | Globalnews.ca

    [ad_1]

Scooter Braun, one of the most recognizable names in the music business, known for representing artists like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, will no longer work as a music manager.

On Monday, the executive and entrepreneur announced the news on his Instagram page. Instead, he will focus his attention on his current roles: As a board member of Hybe and CEO of Hybe America, the South Korea entertainment company.

The announcement comes nearly a year after Braun’s direct management of his superstar roster was the subject of intense speculation.

“After 23 years this chapter as a music manager has come to an end,” he wrote in a lengthy statement. “I was really just 19 years old when I started. So for my entire adult life I played the role of an artist manager on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And for 20 years I loved it. It’s all I had known. But as my children got older, and my personal life took some hits, I came to the realization that my kids were 3 superstars I wasn’t willing to lose.”

“Every client I have had the privilege of working with has changed my life, and I know many of them are just beginning to see the success they deserve,” he continued. “I will cheer for every single one of them.”

In his statement, Braun mentioned a number of his clients from over the years: Grande, Bieber, Andrew Watt, Lil Dicky, Tori Kelly, J Balvin, Demi Lovato, Zac Brown Band, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Steve Angello, Carly Rae Jepsen, PSY and Quavo among them.

Last week, representatives from Hybe said Braun was no longer managing Grande, but that she was still working with him.

“Ariana Grande and Hybe, led by CEO Scooter Braun, look forward to continuing their long-standing business partnership and pursuing creative opportunities in Weverse and REM Beauty,” a statement read.

In August, rumours circulated online that Bieber was leaving Braun, his longtime manager — and the man credited with discovering him. In the days that followed, media outlets began reporting that some of Braun’s other hype-profile clients like Grande and Lovato were also parting ways with him.

A person familiar with SB Projects’ business dealings, who was not authorized to speak publicly, told The Associated Press at the time that the artists on the company’s roster have day-to-day managers who are not Braun, and he consults with them. The person noted that no single person would be able to manage his roster of some of the biggest names in music on their own.

Representatives for Carly Rae Jepsen, BabyJake and Asher Roth confirmed to AP last summer that those artists no longer work with Braun and haven’t for quite some time. And a person close to Idina Menzel told AP the singer is no longer managed by Braun but was not authorized to speak publicly.

At the time, there was speculation that Braun’s artists were leaving SB Projects management because he was placing his focus on HYBE America instead of acting as an artist manager, but there was no official confirmation, until Monday.

Braun said in his statement that his silence was his attempt to take “the high road.”

“But for the last 3 years I have begun to feel that taking the high road has created confusion and ambiguity as to who we are,” Braun said, citing members of his team that are now handling artist management responsibilities.

AP’s request for additional comments were directed back to Braun’s Instagram statement, which addressed multiple aspects of his business interests.

“We at Hybe will continue to grow,” Braun detailed some of his future goals. “With… our existing business at Big Machine, we will continue to add amazing execs and artists to the roster.”

In 2019, Braun bought Big Machine Records, the label that originally signed Taylor Swift and released her first six records. Its CEO Scott Borchetta stayed in place. With the purchase, Braun purchased ownership to Swift’s master recordings, which he sold to an investment fund the following year. As a result, Swift announced that she would re-record her albums to own her new masters in a project called Taylor’s Version.

  • Your Weekend Playlist: New Music Releases

Your Weekend Playlist: New Music Releases

    [ad_1]

I don’t know what’s happening this week, but you may have picked up that every living, breathing artist is releasing new music. Seriously, name a heavy hitter in the industry and they’re probably dropping a new song on August 25. Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and more will grace our sound systems soon enough.

On a day that BLACKPINK, Zach Bryan, SZA, Iggy Azalea, and many, many more are releasing songs, there’s almost a guarantee that this may be my best playlist yet. The odds are, for once, in my favor and I’m confident we are pulling out a weekend playlist worthy of repeatedly listening to.

For Ariana Grande, we are getting the 10th anniversary edition of her Yours Truly album, which was her debut. It’s been a hectic week, considering Ariana left resident evil manager Scooter Braun, who is seemingly retiring from managing in general. And while the public may be listening to “Karma” by Taylor Swift, we have a few new tracks to cover instead.

That’s right: another weekend, another playlist. And with this much good music, we have no time to waste!

    Let’s get listening.

    Joe P- “Don’t Wanna Love U”

I need everyone to listen up: if there’s one song you listen to from this playlist, make it this one. Ever since I first heard it, I have replayed it at least five times daily. Stream Joe P for instant serotonin, I guess! When I interviewed him a few months ago, Joe P mentioned he was bringing his production to a studio for a bigger sound…and we got it.

It’s a sunny, dance-y song that I bop down the street nodding my head along when listening. I’ve liked every song he’s released, but this is by far my favorite. The synth-heavy sound and tortured lyrics about not wanting to love someone who is bad for you, but loving them anyway make for a near-perfect song.

Miley Cyrus- “Used To Be Young”

We’re looking forward to a potential Vol II of Miley Cyrus’ Endless Summer Vacation album just a few short months after its release. To confirm these rumors, Miley released ballad “Used To Be Young” today, and the promo has been equally exciting. With lyric posters popping up everywhere next to old lyrics from hits like “Party in the USA” and “Wrecking Ball”, everyone is referencing their different eras.

The song itself is a hit, which is no shock when it’s from someone with the range and vocal capacity that Cyrus does. She can do any genre, any type of song, and her voice will shine through. More importantly, the song will make sense. Just like fine wine, Miley only gets better with age.

    Ariana Grande – Yours Truly

Fans have been anticipating new music from Ariana Grande, especially since she paused for Wicked filming – a scandal studded event that dominated headlines on its own…And while we love The Good Witch, we need to hear Grande’s voice again. The Yours Truly album was Grande’s intro to music, but now she gets to put her more mature sound and production abilities into it…so big things were expected.

We hold these singers at a high regard for a reason, it’s so easy for us to forget how hard it is to sing, songwrite, and produce. That’s why we are so harsh on the songs that aren’t so good, so when artists like Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, and Ariana Grande rework their old albums, it’s impressive, it’s worth the listen, and it’s normally flawless.

    Selena Gomez- “Single Soon”

Selena Gomez is making a return to music with “Single Soon”, a fun-loving, carefree track about how exciting it can be to be single. There’s been a lot of speculation about Selena’s dating life recently, which makes this song even more perfect, because it’s truly her message to us all: she’s in her IDGAF era and we’re here for it. It’s great to dance to, and just reminds me of classic Selena.

A contrast to Miley Cyrus’ ballad, the Disney gals are showing their range. It’s good to see Selena having fun with her music, and just not listening to whatever the hell the outside world has to say.

    Zevia- “something I can’t do”

Zevia’s voice fills your ears like a coo, gentle and calming, beautiful and equally heartbreaking. With notes of Billie Eilish, Zevia can make a sad song feel like a hug. She makes you feel seen, putting unspoken heartache and emotion into song, “something I can’t do” is about taking away that deep depressive pain that some experience. Zevia says,

“When someone’s been sad for a long time and bad things happen to them continuously, good things that come unexpected could be just as bad, as they’re not used to it. Sometimes depressed people pray for good, but for me even the good can be bad. I can’t allow myself peace otherwise I don’t know who I’d truly be.”

    Chloe Stroll- Pedestal

Our feature artist of the week, Chloe Stroll has been breaking into the music industry with her raw voice, an emphasis on the piano, and most importantly, her honest lyrics. Writing about real life experiences, “Pedestal” sums up heartbreak in any form – whether it be a friend, a significant other, or even a family member.

A powerful follow-up to her debut single, “Run”, based on a break-in Stroll and her husband, snowboarder Scotty James, experienced. It’s a summation of Chloe Stroll: resilient in her lyrics, in the way she creates an honest track, and honest beyond measure.

Joel Corry, Rita Ora, MK- “Drinkin”

Recently, I had the privilege of seeing Joel Corry live in Atlantic City. Not only does he have some of the biggest club hits right now, but he can put on an equally exciting show. Now, with a highly-anticipated debut album, Another Friday Night, is on the horizon and he’s here with yet another major collab with Rita Ora and MK.

“Drinkin” takes the beloved sampling used in Chance the Rapper’s “Zero Problems”, and it makes you want to dance the night away. You can already hear this song shooting its way to the top of every bar playlist, it’s another soundtrack to your night out from Joel Corry. I’m convinced he’ll never disappoint, and I’m excited for the album.

    Yungblud- “Hated”

You can’t get much more personal than “Hated”, which is Yungblud’s recounting of being molested by a doctor as a child and dealing with internal hatred. The punk-rocker has a way of making catchy hooks and capitalizing on guitar and a hard drum that makes you release any pent-up stress and anxiety. Few times do we get to see an artist bare their entire soul into a song, and be so open and vulnerable.

Not only is Yungblud’s song a testament for survivors of assault everywhere, he’s opening a necessary conversation about men’s mental health. It’s a mixture of anger, pain, sadness, and healing all in one.

    Audrey Nuna- “Locket”

Audrey Nuna is a musical maverick, someone who creates larger-than-life music and it just works perfectly. For her new song, “Locket”, she is releasing a video directed by the late Valentin Petit, who tragically passed away in an aircraft accident this year. It’s the last video he ever directed, making the song that much more significant. Audrey says,

“He was gifted in all the ways his work vividly illustrated, and with such a sense of refreshing humility towards his collaborators and crew that can often times feel rare to find in this industry. This is his final music video of this lifetime – I’m sure he’s already getting started, some place, somewhere, gathering ideas and crafting wildest and freest visions to life.”

Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato cut ties with manager Scooter Braun: reports – National | Globalnews.ca

    [ad_1]

Singers Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato have parted ways with high-profile music manager Scooter Braun, according to numerous reports.

Billboard reported that both Lovato, 31, and Grande, 30, have severed ties with the music mogul, though the reasoning for the split remains unclear. Entertainment Weekly also confirmed reports of the business breakup.

Grande signed with Braun’s entertainment group SB Projects in 2013. That same year, she released her debut album Yours Truly. It is not clear when exactly Grande reportedly ended the professional relationship with Braun, 42.

For her part, Lovato signed with Braun and SB Projects in 2019. Billboard reported that the Skyscraper singer parted ways with Braun in July. Lovato does not have new management, but the outlet reported that “conversations” with prospective parties are already taking place. Reports maintained that the split between Lovato and Braun was amicable.

    Story continues below advertisement

Lovato and Grande have not commented publicly on the situation.

On social media, Braun appeared to poke fun at the reports and on Tuesday tweeted, “Breaking news… I’m no longer managing myself.”

Lovato and Grande are not the only clients to recently exit Braun’s talent roster. In May, popular Colombian reggaeton singer J Balvin left SB Projects to instead sign with the entertainment agency Roc Nation.

Earlier this month, rumours circulated that Justin Bieber was also going to part ways with Braun, who launched him to fame, but the reports were quickly denied. A representative for the Canadian singer told Page Six on Friday that the rumours of the pair’s alleged fallout are “not true.”

    Story continues below advertisement

Alongside Bieber, SB Projects still appears to manage a number of stars, including Call Me Maybe singer Carly Rae Jepsen, Quavo of the rap group Migos, David Guetta and the Black Eyed Peas.

Braun is one of the most well-known contemporary music managers, but his reputation has not always been stellar.

Aside from being an entertainment industry mogul, Braun is well known for his infamous feud with Taylor Swift. In 2019, Braun’s investment group Ithaca Holdings purchased Big Machine Records, which signed Swift at the beginning of her career as a young country singer. The deal meant Braun came to own Swift’s master recordings for her first six albums.

Swift claimed in 2020 that after failed negotiations with Braun, he sold her masters to a private company. Swift said she wanted to personally buy the rights to her masters but was denied. She said Braun also wanted her to sign an “ironclad NDA stating I would never say another word about Scooter Braun unless it was positive.”

    Story continues below advertisement

In protest, Swift left her record label and signed with Universal, where she has been re-recording her older albums. This month, she announced the upcoming release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version).

Swift has already re-recorded and released Fearless (Taylor’s Version) (2021), Red (Taylor’s Version) (2021) and Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) (2023). The re-recorded albums have not only delighted Swift’s loyal fanbase but have also devalued the original masters owned by Braun.
