Everyone’s favorite glam girlies were gussied up and gorgeous in their hautest NYE fits which served as a fitting finale to a shenanigan-stuffed 2025 while setting the tone for an already eventful 2026.

One of those dolled up divas was Chlöe Bailey who proclaimed that her “body is tea” when a miserable troll claimed she was “getting big” during a recent livestream.

In the now-viral video, Chloe was busy putting together furniture in her place when a commenter slithered into her stream with bad energy about her weight.

“No, I’m not. I’m actually losing weight,” said Bailey. “And even if I was getting big, and? What about it?” she said. “Why you talking about my body? What [does] your body look like? Send me a picture, let me judge it.”

She continued, “Yeah, they trying to rage bait me because I know my body tea. And I don’t really say that often but the stress got my waist snatched.”

Coincidentally, this isn’t the first time she’s dealt with body issues which came up during a sit-down on Latto’s former Apple Music show, 777 Radio.

Speaking candidly, Chlöe opened about struggling with body dysmorphia over her fluctuating weight despite her reign as one of the industry’s most bankable baddies.

“I think sometimes I have body dysmorphia because there’ll be times I look and I’ll feel way bigger than I was,” she said at the time. “And I look back at pictures, I’m like, Chloe, you were snatched. Even right now, I gained a couple pounds and I’m like, It looks good on me, instead of beating myself up about it, because I will.”

  • Offset Finally Shuts Down Rumors He Slept With Saweetie, Says His Slippery Split From Quavo Was ‘Deeper Than That’

Offset is finally responding to rumors that he slept with fellow Migos member Quavo’s ex-girlfriend, Saweetie.

    Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty

The “Ric Flair Drip” rapper recently talked to Keke Palmer on her podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, where he opened up about the turmoil between him and Quavo. One of the rumors that’s followed him for years is that he allegedly slept with Saweetie, a situation fans suspected led to the dissolution of the Migos.

However, when he was asked about the Saweetie rumors, Offset immediately shut it down.

“No, man. It was a rumor, man,” he said, going on to explain that there was much more to the story when it comes to his fallout with Quavo.

“I feel like it was something deeper than that for the split of me and bro,” he continued. “I think people were trying to tear my situation down in that situation.”

That’s when Keke suggested that business people may have been behind the scenes, trying to keep them from being strong together, and Offset agreed.

“The lengths that people go in our industry to enmesh themselves in your personal life to get certain outcomes in business, their lengths are great,” he said.

Cardi B spoke on the long-running rumors back in 2023, when she and Offset were still together.

“I was quiet because one thing I’m gonna do, I’m gonna find out the truth,” she said during an appearance on The Jason Lee Show, per VIBE. “You know I was finding out that truth in and out. So if I entertain something that I know is not true on the internet, people be like, ‘Oh, it is true, because you’re addressing it.’ But when I don’t address it, it’s true as well.”

More recently, while promoting her album, Cardi talked multiple times about a woman who gave her flowers, and she later found out the same woman slept with her man.

“There’s girls that really will be in your DM, will really try to be your friend, will really try to come into your world, will really try to do weird things like befriend your friends,” the “Magnet” rapper explained during her appearance on The Breakfast Club.

She went on to talk about a woman with whom she’d worked out a disagreement, explaining that once they got to the root of their issue, the woman offered her a gift.

“They gave me flowers,” she said. “Literally flowers…Then, months later, I found out you f***ed this n*****. Stuff like that be weird to me.”

While Cardi didn’t name names, many fans assumed she was talking about Saweetie, given the longstanding rumors. But, according to Offset, that’s not the case.

  • 3 Reasons Why Shygirl’s Discography Is ‘Immaculate’

3 Reasons Why Shygirl’s Discography Is ‘Immaculate’

THP just got home from the Sweat Tour, and we left thinking of two things. One, that Charli xcx and Troye Sivan are our new favorite pop stars (duh), and two, Shygirl has unlocked new fans here in the hive and is officially on our ones-to-watch list. Shygirl is currently on tour, opening for Charli and Troye, hyping fans up with her intoxicating club and dance music. Her latest track, ‘Immaculate,’ was a hit among fans in the crowd, especially when collaborator Saweetie came out as a special guest. We were gagged, to say the least. To celebrate Shygirl’s ongoing success and new track, here are three reasons why we love Shygirl and why her discography is nothing but ‘Immaculate.’

    Innovation And Experimentation

Shygirl’s music is innovative and exciting! She’s always experimenting with new songs and traditional club sounds that people know and love. What does it sound like when these two are merged? Take a listen to ‘Immaculate’ and hear it for yourselves.

Shygirl is, of course, always giving us innovative visualizers, which just makes the listening experience even better.

    Performance And Look

One thing Shygirl can do is perform! We were lucky enough to see it for ourselves, but if you have yet to see Shygirl do her thing, check it out below 👇

She’s also got a stunning look that you just can’t look away from. If you aren’t entranced by her music, you’ll be easily entranced by her stage presence. When we saw her live, we couldn’t help but jump around and head-bang!

    Confidence And Collaboration

Our two favorite “C” words? Confidence and collaboration! These are also two traits that make a great pop artist, and right now, Shygirl is taking the cake. She’s serving the hive the full fantasy that we know and love while still bringing competitive innovation to the industry. What’s next for Shygirl? We can’t wait to see!

We’re so excited about Shygirl’s success and her new song with Saweetie! Have you listened to it yet? Let us know what you thought of the song in the comments below or by buzzing with us on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook 🐝

  • Shygirl and Saweetie Birth “Immaculate” (A Song, Not A Collection)

Shygirl and Saweetie Birth “Immaculate” (A Song, Not A Collection)

Madonna might have released The Immaculate Collection (a riff, obviously, on “the immaculate conception”) in 1990, but she surprisingly never did offer a song called “Immaculate.” That honor, instead, has been left to Shygirl and Saweetie (on a side note: considering that Shygirl has cited Madonna as one of her primary influences, it’s not “reaching” to make the connection between the song’s title and the Queen of Pop). And while it might seem as though this duo is an unlikely pairing, Shygirl’s ascent into the mainstream has been written in the stars thanks to her long-standing link to Charli XCX, who tapped Shygirl as an opening act on the Sweat Tour, which swept through an array of “all-American” cities this fall.

Indeed, Saweetie even joined Shygirl onstage during the San Francisco date of the tour to debut “Immaculate” live (because, while Saweetie might be a SoCal girl, she has ties to SF thanks to her uncle, Willie Harper, being a former linebacker for the 49ers). Their performing energy together was more electric than expected, displaying a chemistry that doesn’t always come off in “duets” (see: Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea on “Pretty Girls”). As for Saweetie potentially “boosting” Shygirl and vice versa, it’s worth noting that, while Shygirl has more EPs and an actual studio album under her belt, Saweetie is the more well-known between the two of them. Especially stateside, where hits like “Icy Grl,” “My Type” and “Best Friend” featuring Doja Cat are more recognized than any of Shygirl’s many bops.

This includes tracks like “Slime,” “Tasty,” “4eva” and “Mr. Useless” (the latter two singles being from her recent Club Shy EP). But, like Charli XCX before her, Shygirl’s music has long been deemed too “fringe” to make it out of the niche she’s currently locked into. With the addition of Saweetie into her musical repertoire, however, there’s a chance Shygirl could cast a wider net to a new range of listeners. For she isn’t exactly associated much with the rap genre. The closest she might have gotten to such a “realm” was on the Tinashe-featuring “Heaven” (a video that often looks as though it’s trying to imitate TLC’s “Waterfalls” on the visual effects front—and as listeners found out again this year, Tinashe clearly likes TLC). Yet Tinashe’s vocal stylings are hardly rap (save for on rare instances like “Nasty”), instead sounding more like they’re in the same register as Shygirl.

But with the “clout” of Saweetie on her side, she’s opening herself up to a different set of ears, (particularly West Coastian ones, as that’s Saweetie’s “turf”). Even if the co-producers on the song, Oscar Scheller and Blue May, are decidedly not of the rap/hip hop bent. Nonetheless, they meld the divergent vocals of each thirty-one-year-old (one a Taurus, the other a Cancer) seamlessly to a rhythm that is “Shygirl” through and through. Not to mention the braggadocious chorus that repeats the phrase, “Pussy be the gun” like a mantra after saying, “Hold a nigga hostage.”

And of course pussy is the gun when your other personal philosophy goes, “Yeah, this pussy is immaculate/Wetter than the ocean/I can tell you cannot handle it/Well-spoken, got its own vernacular/Suck a nigga dry, better call this pussy Dracula.” An “on-theme” name check considering the single’s release a week before Halloween (with another Charli XCX favorite, Tove Lo, also recently paying homage to the month with “Cave”).

Saweetie soon joins in to put her own stamp on the single by asserting, “I’m so hot, hot, hot/Couture/Big look, pose, walk/Dior/IVin the morning, I be going too hard/I’m the it girl of the it girls [though some of the “brats” mentioned by Charli on “360” might beg to differ]/Yeah my Venus a Taurus.” And yes, that’s not just a nod to Shygirl being a Taurus, but also Saweetie’s rising sign being that as well. To that point, it’s no surprise when she adds, “I’m a foodie/Gobble up a bitch/Miss Chew Chew,” later admitting, “I’m a Cancer, a lil’ cuckoo.”

Both “crazy” and “foodie” qualities are displayed by both women in the accompanying visualizer (though perhaps a “real” video will arrive eventually), wherein they prowl the streets of Hollywood in between visiting a convenience store filled with snacks galore. There are additional interspersed moments (filmed in night shot) of the two in the back of car dancing, posing and generally looking smug. After all, why shouldn’t they when their pussies aren’t just “wet ass,” but immaculate? Though that doesn’t mean conception is. Unless what one is referring to is the immaculate conception of this song, an unlikely empowerment anthem between two even unlikelier collaborators. And hopefully, its earworm of a beat and chorus will further aid Shygirl in ascending to the coveted mainstream like one of her other partners in crime, the Brat herself.

  • Saweetie Sheds Light On Her Struggle With Insecurities In The Music Industry: “I Just Felt Myself Giving Up”

Saweetie Sheds Light On Her Struggle With Insecurities In The Music Industry: “I Just Felt Myself Giving Up”

Saweetie candidly opened up about her journey in the music industry and how she hasn’t always felt comfortable in the direction her career was steering.

The ‘Best Friend’ rapper graces the latest issue of Allure and openly admits feeling insecure about her past work in the accompanying interview.

Saweetie Reveals Her Challenges As An Artist

Relentless criticism met her entry into the music industry, unsurprisingly, as breaking onto the scene as a new female rapper is never easy.

The 30-year-old felt that with every single she dropped, she was bound to receive negative comments from people questioning her talent and her artistry. Additionally, her record label attempted to market her in an unauthentic way that didn’t align with her own identity.

“I was told I should twerk more on my Instagram,” she shared. “I was told that my voice was very boring. I was told that I rapped too monotone and needed more energy. I was told that I needed to share more of my life on the internet.”

The fact that Saweetie still hasn’t dropped her debut album, despite signing her deal with Warner back in February 2018, makes one wonder whether the fault-finding feedback from the public is to blame.

Understandably, several hiccups have confronted the USC graduate’s music career, and the constant scrutiny from others wanting her to be someone else has consequently led to a lot of self-doubt.

She confessed, “I was just very insecure. I’m a confident woman, but I was a very insecure artist.” Subsequently, the not-so-nice response she received over her music eventually made Saweetie question her capabilities, often leading her to feel like giving up.

“I don’t mean to dampen the mood. But this is, realistically, how my career has been. We were constantly criticized for every drop. I was just very insecure. I’m a confident woman, but I was a very insecure artist.”

There’s only so much one person can take.

She Came Close To Quitting Music Altogether

The Bay native admits that, though she was still adjusting to the industry and everything that came with it, she began to feel like she wanted to give up and quit music for good simply because of how harshly people had critiqued her songs.

“There’s been a lot of times these past couple of years where I’ve given up on myself. Whether people knew about that or not, I just felt myself giving up, and I don’t want to do that anymore.”

But she has now changed her mindset and is refusing to surrender to the hate.

Meanwhile, fans are once again wondering about the release of Saweetie’s debut album after she recently dropped her first single of the year, ‘Richtivities.’

When asked about a full-length project, the ‘My Type’ hitmaker said that she is taking her time, as she wants to ensure the music truly reflects the artist she is today. “To me, music is sacred. It’s coming from your spirit. You can’t just go finish an album in a week,” she added.

  • What are the 500 best albums? Rolling Stone has an answer

What are the 500 best albums? Rolling Stone has an answer

NEW YORK — Is Fleetwood Mac’s landmark album “Rumours” better than “To Pimp a Butterfly” by Kendrick Lamar? Should “Tapestry” by Carole King be ranked higher or lower than “Thriller” by Michael Jackson?

Rolling Stone magazine has some answers in a new book that’s sure to spark conversations — “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” It’s where you’ll find that Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run” fittingly sits just ahead of “Ready to Die” by The Notorious B.I.G., at No. 21 and No. 22, respectively.

“Every record on here is in some ways on for different reasons,” said Jon Dolan, the reviews editor at Rolling Stone who helped create the book. “We are really happy, to be honest, about the whole list.”

But if you disagree with the rankings, don’t blame the folks at Rolling Stone. Blame Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Iggy Pop. Nile Rodgers, Questlove, Billie Eilish, Herbie Hancock, Saweetie, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lin-Manuel Miranda and members of Metallica and U2, among dozens of other artists. They were among the judges.

The book’s editors reached out to about 500 voters from the world of music — artists, journalists, record label figures and Rolling Stone staffers — and asked for their top 50 albums (Stevie Nicks kindly offered 80). They got some 4,000 albums and created a spreadsheet with weighed points.

On every page, the artists make a fascinating musical tapestry. Take a section in the lower Top 100 — at No. 86 is The Doors’ self-titled debut, followed by “Bitches Brew” by Miles Davis, “Hunky Dory” by David Bowie and, at No. 89, is “Baduizm” by Erykah Badu, connecting gems of classic rock, jazz, prog-rock and R&B.

“Is there a person who loves all those things equally? Probably not. But we hope there’s people who could definitely want to try them all out and see what they think,” Dolan said. “That’s the goal: making connections and being introduced to new things.”

Dolan was impressed by some established artists embracing modern music, like John Cale of the Velvet Underground championing FKA Twigs and Nicks ranking Harry Styles’ “Fine Line” quite high.

“It’s sweet when these people who have been around are not just pooh-poohing the younger generation,” he said. “It’s neat when people are voting for things outside of their genre and what you’d expect.”

The book’s origins started in 2003 when the magazine published its first 500 list, putting The Beatles “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” at No. 1. It was a pretty Beatles-heavy list, with three more Fab Four albums making the top 10.

“It had kind of the perspective of a 45-year-old male rock fan who was open minded, who liked rap a little bit, but kind of patting it on the head, and liked R&B, but was kind of dismissive of the more recent stuff,” he said.

“We really wanted to break away from that perspective and think the list could actually have many perspectives converging.”

Joni Mitchell’s “Blue” shot up on the new list, going from No. 30 in 2003 to the top 10 now, and Prince and the Revolution’s “Purple Rain” went from No. 76 to No. 8. Another big gainer was Lauryn Hill’s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” which zoomed up from the 300s in 2003 to Top 10 now.

“Certain albums become kind of new classics,” said Dolan. “It is something that’s kind of evolving and up for grabs. And we wanted to kind of at least imply that in doing this one.”

The new list is more inclusive of genres other than rock and so pushed some iconic albums down, like AC/DC’s “Back in Black” which went from No. 77 to No. 84, now nestled between “Dusty in Memphis” by Dusty Springfield and John Lennon’s “Plastic Ono Band.” (“I’m pretty sure they would accept that company,” Dolan said.)

Some artists’ catalogues have also shifted. Bob Dylan’s “Blood on the Tracks” leapfrogged his “Blonde on Blonde” and “Highway 61 Revisited” this time, and the Beatles’ “Abbey Road” became their top album in the book, over “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Rubber Soul” and “Revolver.”

“The warmth and the beauty and the sweetness of ‘Abbey Road’ maybe in a way wins out over this sort of landmark sonic inventiveness of ‘Revolver’ because people love to listen to it.”

There’s been some online griping about the list, like that only “The Stranger” from Billy Joel made the list and no entries from non-Western artists, Fans of U2 might be mad that “The Joshua Tree” dropped out of the Top 100 and fans of electronic music might bemoan that there are only eight electronic albums.

But Rolling Stone says the list is a snapshot as music marches onward. While the albums were being tabulated this time, Taylor Swift’s “folklore” and Bob Dylan’s “Rough and Rowdy Ways” came out, and Dolan suspects both might have made the book if they’d only come out earlier.

“Because the list is so stylistically diverse and open-ended, I think we’re kind of implying that it’s always a work in progress,” he said. “In 20 years, Rolling Stone, whatever entity it is, will do this again at some point.”
