  • Inside Sam Thompson’s new ‘relationship’ – hard launch; meeting family and why he’s ‘terrified’ to introduce her to Pete

    [ad_1]

TV star Sam Thompson sparked rumours that he has a new girlfriend as he appeared to ‘hard launch’ his relationship on his Instagram. And now he has spoken about it.

Sam has been very open about how 2025 has been a difficult year for him. At the very start of the year, it was revealed he and long-term partner, Zara McDermott, had split. And it wasn’t long before she was embarking on a new romance with One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.

Things seem to have changed changed, as over the last few months, Sam has been speaking about how he is now on the other side of his tough times. And he has showcased his amazing glow-up quite a lot. There had been a lot of speculation on whether Sam is dating model and DJ, Talitha Balinska. And he has finally addressed his “hard launch”.

So, let’s have a look at everything that we know.

Who is Sam Thompson’s new ‘girlfriend’?

Over the last few weeks, Sam and Talitha have been seen stepping out for dinners and a day out.

According to reports, London-based Talitha is currently 24-year-olds, turning 25 in just a few weeks.

It’s believed she is a music producer and digital creator who rose to fame on TikTok, gaining over 500K followers.

But the influencer also works as a model, with reports suggesting she has done campaigns with ASOS and Sam’s own sunglasses brand Dinelli Eyewear – which is where they are believed to have met.

Sam Thompson breaks silence on relationship ‘hard launch’

Last week, Sam posted an AD on his Instagram, which featured him and his sister Louise. But fans were shocked to see another face at the video towards the end, wearing a wizard hat. And many realised this must be his new girlfriend.

On this week’s episode of Staying Relevant podcast, – which Sam co-hosts with best pal Pete Wicks – the pair joked about the “hard launch”.

Sam wouldn’t admit whether or not they are in a relationship. But it comes after he began referring to a mystery woman as “peep” on the podcast.

Pete started the conversation by teasing: “Peep has made it to the ad-section of Instagram with the hard launch.”

But Sam was quick to tell him: “It was not a hard launch.” However, Pete completely disagreed: “Couldn’t be [bleep]ing harder. Nothing says hard launch like Peep playing lego. As hard launches go, full-frontal face, with wizard hat, playing lego. How did it feel to officially hard launch?”

However, Sam refused to budge, adamant that wasn’t a hard launch. He told Pete: “It wasn’t a hard launch.”

Sam went on to explain how it came about. He told Pete: “Bless her. I literally was just filming this thing and I was like ‘I need an ending for this’. And I just, she was there and I went ‘Do you fancy just doing it?’ I didn’t think about it.

“I knew that maybe people would like. But I just thought it was a funny end to a video with a really clearly gorgeous girl. I think she’s great.”

But when Pete asked if she will be making any other appearances on his Instagram anytime soon, Sam told him: “No.”

Talitha has already met Sam’s family

In the video on Sam’s Instagram, Talitha wasn’t the only one to feature in it. Louise, Sam’s older sister, also made an appearance.

When Sam and Pete were discussing why Pete hasn’t met her yet, Pete listed a bunch of people she had already met – including Sam’s family and their team.

He said: “Pippa has already met Peep. As has Ted. As has your sister, as has her partner, Ryan. That’s it.”

Why Sam is ‘terrified’ to introduce any girlfriend to Pete

Discussing what “next steps” are, Sam admitted he would be “[bleep]ing terrified” to introduce her to Pete.

He said: “If I ever got to the stage where I was going to introduce you. I would be [bleep]ing terrified.”

Pete was clearly thrown off, asking Sam: “Sorry, there are stages of what?”

Sam explained: “Introductions. If I ever had – and this is a hypothetical. I’m just saying, hypothetically, if I were to ever have a person of interest, my POI, then I would be so terrified to introduce her to you.”

As for why that is, Sam admitted: “It’s because you mean the most to me. If you didn’t like someone I was dating, I genuinely don’t think I would be able to do.”

But Pete didn’t agree with this: “It wouldn’t matter in the slightest whether I liked them. As long as you were happy.”

When Sam tried to argue with that, Pete told him: “It’s kind of irrelevant unless you move in with them or it becomes something else. It doesn’t really matter. Just go and enjoy yourself. As long as you are happy.”

    Sam is ‘really enjoying’ himself

When Pete was checking if Sam was happy, he admitted: “I’m really enjoying myself. Do you think that is a hard launch?”. Sam and Pete’s podcast team could be heard behind the camera, saying: “Yes. Yes.”

Sam responded: “Well, I am happy. I love being happy. It’s nice.”

He went on to refer to Talitha as a “very sweet girl” but remained adamant there was “no pressure” on anything.

When Pete joked that she might feel the pressure after them speaking about it, Pete made sure to make everyone know that they were “joking” with each other.

All the stars who could take over on Tipping Point as Ben Shephard joins This Morning

    [ad_1]

Tipping Point star Ben Shephard has been confirmed as the new host of This Morning and will be joining the show full-time next month.

However, this has left question marks over his future on Tipping Point, which he has hosted since it launched in 2012.

Who could host Tipping Point if Ben Shephard leaves?

Whilst Ben or ITV haven’t said that he’s leaving the hit gameshow, his exit from GMB will spark questions over whether he’ll leave Tipping Point too.

ED! has contacted Ben’s reps, as well as ITV for confirmation over the 49-year-old’s future on the show.

If he were to leave, here are some stars who we believe could take over…

    Roman Kemp

Roman recently announced he’d be leaving his role at Capital Radio after almost a decade at the station.

He confirmed the news in a statement earlier this week. “This is going to be my last few weeks on Capital. Having spent nearly 10 years with this company it’s not a decision that just happened overnight. And it’s not one that I’ve found easy at all,” he said in a statement.

“Capital is my family. You as the wonderful listener have been there for me at my best, and you’ve been there at my absolute lowest to pull me back to happiness,” he then said.

“Capital and Global Radio helped make me the man I am, it is all I know. But I know it’s now time for me to leave.”

Jordan North will be replacing him. With The One Show host Roman’s schedule freeing up a bit now he’s left, could he become the new host of Tipping Point?

    Josie Gibson on This Morning

    Josie Gibson

At one point it seemed as though Josie was pretty much nailed on to be the new permanent presenter of This Morning.

However, this eventually didn’t come to pass, with Cat Deeley bagging the role instead.

But, Josie still remains a fan favourite and a continued hit with viewers, as proven by her impressive stint on I’m A Celebrity.

It’s about time Josie fronted her own show – the Tipping Point job is practically screaming for her.

Could the 39-year-old take over from Ben should he leave? Viewers would tune in in their droves, that’s for sure.

Another fan favourite, Craig‘s stardom has exploded over the last few months, thanks to his frequent hosting stints of This Morning.

Some fans were gutted that he didn’t land the gig full-time, with many hoping he and Josie would host full-time together.

What better way for ITV to curb fans’ dissapointment by appointing him as the new host of Tipping Point?

Who could replace Ben Shephard on Tipping Point? – Olly Murs

Olly was a judge on The Voice for five years between 2018 and 2023. However, last year it was confirmed that he wouldn’t be returning to the show this year.

It has since been revealed that LeAnn Rimes and Tom Fletcher will be joining the show following his exit.

“I’m gutted. I got the call last week to say I won’t be back on the show, and it’s a bit of a shock, to be honest. I didn’t really expect that to come. But I don’t want to sit here like other artists might, and shine and gloss this up and say, ‘It was my decision’. I don’t want to do that,” he told The Sun at the time.

If the Tipping Point job does come free, could we see Olly land himself another TV gig by replacing Ben?

    Dermot O’Leary

Another fan favourite, Dermot O’Leary could be a popular option to take over as Tipping Point host.

The This Morning star will continue to host the show on Friday’s alongside Alison Hammond.

That leaves some time in his schedule to potentially take over as host of Tipping Point!

Sam Thompson to replace Ben Shephard on Tipping Point?

I’m A Celebrity champion Sam Thompson gained a whole new fanbase from winning the hit ITV show last year.

Since winning, he’s hosted some segments on This Morning, and has even appeared on the Loose Women panel.

The star has made no secret over the fact that he wants to work in TV, so could he land the Tipping Point gig if Ben leaves?

I'm A Celebrity final: Sam Thompson is crowned King of the Jungle as he beats Tony Bellew to win the show

    [ad_1]

The final of I’m A Celebrity 2023 saw the crowning of a new King of the Jungle tonight (December 10).

After a closely-fought battle between the remaining three men – Sam Thompson, Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage – only one could emerge victorious.

And, after Nigel was eliminated in third place, it was time for Sam and Tony to go head-to-head in the final battle.

    ‘And the winner of I’m A Celebrity 2023 is…’

With the nation waiting with baited breath, hosts Ant and Dec invited the boys into the studio for a chat. This came before they announced the new King of the Jungle.

It’s like a dream that I don’t want you to wake me up from.

Sam’s jungle highlights were up first, with the Made In Chelsea star telling the hosts: “It’s like a dream that I don’t want you to wake me up from. I just feel like the luckiest person in the world to have been able to do this.”

He then added: “Even the moments where you’re feeling a little bit low you’re like, I’m feeling low in the jungle!”

Ant then joked that Sam had made no secret of loving the show, and the hosts: “Just how good was it meeting us?” Ant asked. “It was so good!” Sam enthused!”

Asked what it would mean to be crowned King of the Jungle, Sam admitted: “I’m going to be honest with you, I just wanted to make Cyclone!”

Tony’s chat was up next. He told the boys: “It wasn’t easy. But I definitely think I was put here to be around Sam and get to know him.”

Ant then joked about Tony’s “backchat” during the trials. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry,” he laughed.

Asked what it would mean to be named King, Tony admitted: “I predicted this 10 days ago. This is your King of the Jungle,” he said, pointing at Sam.

Ant and Dec then crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity 2023. And, as predicted, it was a win for the lovely Sam.

Viewers react as I’m A Celebrity final crowns winner

Viewers quickly took to social media to share their views about the newest member of TV royalty.

Speaking about Sam’s win, one thrilled fan said: “Get in Sam. Well deserved winner. Deserves it so much.” Another then added: “One of the best-ever winners, a genuinely kind hearted person who never stops smiling, flying the flag for ADHD.”

A third then commented: “Has there ever been a more worthy winner than Sam.” Another then said: “Yesss Sam, absolutely over the moon for him man what a guyyyy.”

“You’ve just made a boy’s dream come true,” Sam told Ant and Dec before Josie presented his jungle crown.

I’m A Celebrity 2023: Complaints about ‘boring and predictable’ height challenge pour in from disgruntled viewers

    [ad_1]

The 2023 series of I’m A Celebrity returned to ITV1 tonight (November 19) – but Twitter, or X as it’s now known, wasn’t exactly enamoured by it.

After Josie Gibson’s epic burn to Nigel Farage over Brexit, four of the campmates were tasked with heading to the top of the coastline’s highest building for the “same boring” height trial that takes place every year.

Sam Thompson, Danielle Harold, Fred Sirieix and Grace Dent took part. And while viewers at home were loving the contestants, many I’m A Celebrity fans called for a shake-up to the “predictable” opening episode.

I’m A Celebrity fans accuse ITV of ‘milking’ opening ep of 2023 series

Fans weren’t backwards in coming forwards with their thought.

“They do this height challenge every year for the first ep and they’re always so boring! ITV really milks it with the dramatic shots, slow mos & movie music… Like chill it ain’t a Christopher Nolan film,” said one.

Another agreed and said: “Why is the first ep always so boring?” A third then commented: “Always find the first walking trial boring – sorry.” “This building challenge they do is so predictable and boring. Same every year,” said another. “Can’t wait until they get to the camp, these challenge scenes are so boring honestly,” said another.

The guys did win four stars, though, so it wasn’t all bad…

    First food trial

Viewers soon got their wish as the final three campmates were flung into camp – quite literally, out the side of a plane.

Jamie Lynn Spears, Nick Pickard and Marvin Humes then took on the first food trial of the series.

After being covered in bugs, the trio took home a full house of six stars.

And, not long after, all 10 campmates were heading into the place they’ll call home for the next few weeks…

Full I’m A Celebrity 2023 line-up CONFIRMED by ITV as Josie Gibson, Nigel Farage and Marvin Humes appear

    [ad_1]

The line-up for I’m A Celebrity 2023 has been been revealed by ITV – and controversial Nigel Farage will indeed be featuring this year.

As well as the Marmite former politician, other members of the I’m A Celebrity line-up include Britney Spears’ sibling Jamie-Lynn Spears, This Morning anchor Josie Gibson and TV foodie Fred Sirieix.

Bookies have been quick to act, offering odds on each contestants’ chances of winning.

Nigel Farage confirmed as I’m A Celebrity line-up revealed

Amid the line-up is 59-year-old Brexiteer and former politician Nigel Farage. An insider claimed to The Sun ahead of the official announcement: “Nigel has been at the top of the wish-list for I’m A Celeb bosses for years.

“They’ve offered him a huge fee as they know he’ll drive up viewing figures. Ant and Dec will love this signing,” they continued.

Nigel’s the ultimate Marmite character and won’t hold back in camp discussions

“Nigel’s the ultimate Marmite character and won’t hold back in camp discussions. It’s a real coup. The casting team has nailed it. It’s shaping up to be a brilliant series,” the tabloid’s insider added.

‘Who knew they needed another anus in the jungle?’

After hearing the news about who’s taking part, fans of the show then took to social media to share their thoughts. Many found the prospect of Nigel in the jungle too much to stomach.

“I do find it icky that ITV gives a platform to Nigel Farage on I’m a Celebrity. Okay, so they may be setting him up for a fall. But he gets a fee, it boosts his profile and it’s an endorsement of him as a public figure. Whole thing is problematic,” said one viewer.

“Who knew they needed another anus in Australia?” asked another.

“Hope Nigel Farage and Jamie-Lynn Spears get the boot from I’m A Celebrity first. Both vile people who don’t deserve the platform the show gives!” exclaimed a third.

“For the first time, I’m not going to watch I’m A Celebrity. I have to hit the mute button whenever Nigel Farage appears on TV and I can’t really be [bleep]ed with doing that multiple times every night until he gets evicted. See you next year,” a fourth stated.

However, according to AceOdds, Farage has an 18/1 chance of winning. Worth a punt?

    Who else is appearing?

Joining Nigel around the I’m a Celebrity campfire will be journalist Grace Dent, Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard, Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson and social media queen Nella Rose.

EastEnders star Danielle Harold, who played tragic Lola Pearce on the soap, is also set to appear.

Britney Spears’ sister, Jamie-Lynn Spears is also headed in to the jungle – weeks after her famous sibling slammed her in her recently-released autobiography.

This Morning anchor Josie Gibson has also been confirmed following news that she had bagged a massive deal with ITV to appear on the competition.

Also appearing is TV foodie and First Dates star Fred Sirieix, who will be swapping fine dining for jungle rations and various animal unmentionables.

And, after weeks of speculation, JLS star Marvin Humes has also been confirmed for the show.

Bookies odds as I’m A Celebrity line-up confirmed

William Hill thinks that it’ll either be Josie or Sam who are crowned the winners. Odds on either of them winning are currently at 3/1. They’re followed by Fred with 6/1 and Lola star Danielle and boy bander Marvin, both with odds of 7/1.

“Unlike the grub they’ll be sinking their teeth into, this year’s I’m A Celebrity line-up is shaping up to be one of the tastiest in recent memory, with Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson our early market favourite to win the Jungle Crown in December,” a rep said.

“Thompson is 3/1 to triumph in the 23rd edition of the ITV show alongside Josie Gibson, placing them ahead of Fred Sirieix (6/1) in the outright winner market. ITV have certainly pulled no punches with their selection for this winter’s series. The controversial Nigel Farage is priced at 14/1 to uncharacteristically receive support on foreign soil.”
