    Emmy-winning actor Ron Cephas Jones has died at age 66. Jones’s representative confirmed the news to People on Aug. 19 in a statement that read in part: “Beloved and award-winning actor Ron Cephas Jones has passed away at the age of 66 due to a long-standing pulmonary issue.” In the wake of his passing, the actor’s “This Is Us” family have paid tribute to Jones, who was best known for playing Randall Pearson’s biological father, William Hill.

    “Throughout the course of his career, his warmth, beauty, generosity, kindness and heart were felt by anyone who had the good fortune of knowing him,” the statement continued. “He began his career at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and his love for the stage was present throughout his entire career, including his recent Tony nominated and Drama Desk Award winning performance for his role in ‘Clyde’s’ on Broadway.”

    The statement concluded, “Ron’s inner-beauty and soul was evident to the huge audience from his multi-Emmy award winning performance on ‘This is Us.’ He is survived by his daughter Jasmine Cephas Jones.”

    In addition to playing William on “This Is Us,” Jones’s career in Hollywood also included roles on shows like “Luke Cage,” “Looking For Alaska,” and “Truth Be Told.” Additionally, he appeared in films like “Across the Universe” and “Dolemite Is My Name.”

    However, for many viewers, he will always be remember first and foremost as the kind-hearted William from NBC’s “This Is Us.” The show’s cast are heartbroken over the actor’s passing, and Sterling K. Brown, who played Randall, was among the first people to pay tribute to Jones. “Life imitated art today, and one of the most wonderful people the world has ever seen is no longer with us. @cephasjaz has passed away, and the world is a little less bright,” he wrote in part on Instagram.

    On Aug. 18, Britney Spears addressed her split from Sam Asghari for the first time. The pop star shared her statement via her Instagram, where she explained that she “couldn’t take the pain” anymore. News broke on Aug. 16 that the pair were separating after one year of marriage.

    “As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together,” Spears wrote. “6 years is a long time to be with someone so, I’m a little shocked but … I’m not here to explain why because its honestly nobody’s business!!!”

    She continued, “I couldn’t take the pain anymore honestly !!! In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you !!! I’ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it’s far from reality and I think we all know that !!!”

    Spears added that she wished she could share her emotions more freely, but due to her life in the spotlight, she said she had been taught to be a “strong soldier.” The “…Baby One More Time” singer also referenced her 13 years in conservatorship and the impact it had on her ability to freely express herself. Ultimately, Spears maintained that she’s doing well under the circumstances.

    “So I will be as strong as I can and do my best !!!” she wrote. “And I’m actually doing pretty damn good !!! Anyways have a good day and don’t forget to smile !!!”

    The singer’s statement comes just one day after Asghari addressed filing for divorce in his own Instagram Story. “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” Asghari wrote. “We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. Sh*t happens.”

    He added, “Asking for privacy seems rediculous [sic] so I will just ask for everyone including media to be kind and thoughtful.”

    Serena Williams is squeezing in some last-minute rest and relaxation before her second baby arrives. On Aug. 13, the retired tennis pro shared a video from her friends’ and family’s unique take on a baby shower, which she dubbed a “pre-push party.” In the video, which she shared on YouTube, Serena and daughter Olympia Ohanian enjoyed some spa-day pampering and pool time courtesy of her friend Lara Shriftman, who organized the special day.

    Williams is expecting her second daughter with husband Alexis Ohanian soon. In between enjoying a facial and foot massages, she took a break to share how she’s feeling as her due date approaches. “Baby number two is on the way after, you know, lots of time waiting,” she said. “So how am I feeling about it? Excited, anxious, nervous, happy . . . all of the above.”

    She went on to add that while she’s mentally prepared, she still has plenty of practical things to check off her to-do list. Among the tasks she still has to complete before the baby’s arrival are putting together the crib and changing table. Fortunately, it looks like she’ll have plenty of help, thanks to both Ohanian and her community of friends and family.

    While Ohanian didn’t appear to score an invite to the “pre-push party,” Williams and Olympia were surrounded by lots of their close friends and family, including Williams’s mom, Oracene Price. The video included shots of the women wearing matching orange pajamas and laughing as the Olympic gold medalist opened gifts and basked in the relaxing fun of her spa day.

    “I feel so loved today,” Williams said. “Everyone’s here. Family’s here. We’re all just relaxed. I feel loved and relaxed.”

Ora used her fashion-forward post to share some exciting news with her fans, “Swipe for a HUGE announcement and some bikini pics of me on holiday,” she captioned her post. “Ibiza Rocks! Performing something very special with @joelcorry on Wednesday.”

    In her first three photos, Ora showed off a brown bikini trimmed in lace. The bandeau top featured a crisscross lace halter strap for extra support, as well as a second piece of lace that acted as a belly chain (one of Ora’s favorite accessories). While she kept the bottom of her suit covered with a brown handkerchief-style sarong, the visible part suggested the bottoms were briefs.

    She accessorized her lace-accented swimsuit with a pair of chunky sunglasses, windblown hair, and gold sandals featuring large flowers on top. In a separate photo, Ora gave her followers a closer look at her shoes, as well as her colorful pedicure. Each one of the singer’s toes were painted a different color, creating a rainbow effect that she further accentuated with several anklets.

    Ora didn’t just showcase her brown bikini. She also shared a video of herself wearing a white suit with a halter top and tiny bottoms. She completed the look with sunglasses and a delicate belly chain. Finally, she also wore a pink bikini with a matching pink mesh coverup. She completed her final outfit with an intricate belly chain tied loosely around her waist as a belt and a chunky, ombre straw bag. The entire look felt like a nod to the naked-dress trend, which Ora has already shown she’s a fan of.

    On Aug. 11, twins Monroe and Moroccan had a sweet night out with their dad, Nick Cannon . . . literally. The twins, whom Cannon shares with ex Mariah Carey, joined their dad for the grand opening of Sugar Factory’s Time Square location in New York City. In photos from the event, Monroe, Moroccan, and Cannon can be seen taking in the candy-filled sights and enjoying the musical stylings of singer Natti Natasha.

    Natasha and Cannon served as cohosts for the event. On Instagram, Cannon shared a video of him and Natasha posing for a selfie together. “@nattinatasha we had the grand opening of @thesugarfactory New York Time Square Lit!!!” he captioned the video.

    When he wasn’t busy cohosting the grand opening, Cannon spent time with his twins, as well. In one photo, the trio posed in front of a wall of candy. Monroe wore a black T-shirt with a purple butterfly to the event, while her brother sported a black jacket. The kids were all smiles as their dad put his arms around their shoulders for the snap.

    Monroe and Moroccan are the oldest of Cannon’s 12 children. He’s also dad to Golden Sagon, Rise Messiah, and Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell. Additionally, he shares Legendary Love with “Selling Sunset” star Bre Tiesi, Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole, and twins Zion and Zillion and Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa. He also has daughter Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott. He and Scott also had a son, Zen, who died after being diagnosed with brain cancer when he was 5 months old in 2021.

    Cannon previously opened up about how Monroe and Moroccan responded to having so many younger siblings in a June episode of “The Language of Love.” During the interview, he revealed the twins were worried he wouldn’t have time for them anymore. “[Monroe] was like, ‘You love me the most, right?’ I was like, ‘Alright, let’s have that conversation. You are my firstborn, so you are unique.’” He went on to add that he tries to find a special way to connect with each one of his kids.

In the second photo, Aduba grins as she sits in a rattan chair with Sweeting standing beside her, both posing in front of a sign that reads “Baby Sweeting.” The actor’s husband again rests his hand on her growing baby bump.

    Sennott’s outfit is from designer Dion Lee, with the corset retailing at $1,710 and the paired miniskirt at $1,310 at Nordstrom. The actor’s edgy ensemble features an abundance of zippers and buttons, creating a distressed biker jacket look from top to bottom. In addition to the fasteners, the unique style also showcases multiple shades of brown mixed in with the silver details from the zips and buttons.

    Even though the overall outfit is fairly monochromatic, Sennott still stood out in a crowd full of Hollywood up-and-comers like Sydney Sweeney, Josie Totah, and Skai Jackson.     John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are squeezing in one more family vacation before summer comes to an end. On Aug. 5, John Legend shared a video of himself and baby Esti in full vacation mode on Instagram. In the video, his and Teigen’s almost 7-month-old daughter sits on her dad’s shoulders as Legend dances to Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”

    The dad of four holds on to Esti’s hands to support his daughter as he bops around in tropical swim shorts and white t-shirt. Meanwhile, Esti grins for the camera. Legend captioned his post, “We on vacation.”

    While it’s unclear where Legend and Teigen are vacationing just yet, the family appear to be somewhere near a beach, as evidenced by the beach hut behind the “All of Me” singer. On Aug. 3, Legend shared his first snap from the family’s trip, which also featured a shot of him carrying Esti on his shoulders against a backdrop of tropical trees. “Angel on my shoulders,” he wrote.

    This summer has been a special for Legend and Teigen. In addition to being their first summer with Esti, they also welcomed their youngest son, Wren, via surrogate in June. Wren and Esti joined their big sister Luna and big brother Miles — both of whom got to spend the night in Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse with their parents in July.

    Even though she hasn’t celebrated her first birthday yet, this isn’t Esti’s first vacation. The little one previously joined her family on an Italian vacation in April ahead of her little brother’s arrival. The movie’s director can be seen laughing and shedding a few tears as she’s suddenly bombarded by a group of men dancing their hearts out to “I’m Just Ken.”

    The video begins with the Kens dancing and lip-synching to the “Barbie” power ballad “I’m Just Ken” before a group of Barbies crash the party with their own dance number. As the Barbies run into the room, the music switches to Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night Away,” which sparks an exuberant dance party for the entire flash mob. At the end of their performance, all of the dancers shout, “Happy Birthday, Greta!”

    Near the end of the video, Gerwig hugs all of the dancers, and someone off-camera asks the director if she knows who planned the musical surprise for her. “I have no idea,” she responds. “Think of the bagpipes,” they tell her, reminding Gerwig of the time Gosling sent a bagpiper to the “Barbie” sleepover to play for his costars.

    It’s official: the 2023 Emmys ceremony has been postponed amid the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, as confirmed by Variety. This marks the first time the Emmys have been postponed since 2001, when the show was pushed to November in the wake of 9/11. As the strikes continue, it’s unclear at this point when the awards will air, but Fox is reportedly pushing for a January 2024 date. Meanwhile, according to the publication, the TV Academy is hopeful the ceremony could air in November.

    The Emmys were originally scheduled to air on Sept. 18. With the writers and actors continuing to strike for fair pay and protections against AI, it became clear the planned date would no longer be feasible. The Television Academy and Fox have not yet made an official announcement confirming the news, but vendors have reportedly been told the show will not be taking place on Sept. 18. Additionally, the Creative Arts Emmys, which were set to take place on Sept. 9 and 10, will also be postponed.

    Despite the Emmys being moved, voting will go on as planned. The final voting period runs from Aug. 17 to Aug. 28. In a typical year, this period would be marked by campaign pushes, but with actors and writers prohibited from participating in interviews for the duration of the strikes, the campaign season is set to be a more subdued affair. It’s unclear how (or if) this will impact the eventual winners.

    Emmy nominees were announced on July 12, just 48 hours before SAG-AFTRA members joined writers on the picket line. HBO nabbed the most nominations thanks to critically-acclaimed series like “Succession,” “The White Lotus,” and “The Last of Us.” On the comedy side, Apple TV+’s “Ted Lasso,” ABC’s “Abbott Elementary,” and FX on Hulu’s “The Bear” are among the buzzy shows vying for the top prize.

In the TikTok, the fashion designer/woman formerly known as Posh Spice holds hands with her husband as they dance and belt out the iconic song.

    “Warming up the vocals in Miami! More to come,” Victoria captioned the TikTok. Meanwhile, she teased the full-length video on her Instagram, writing, “Just a casual night out in Miami! check out my tik tok to see the full performance no really I did not drink that much.” The official Spice Girls account commented on her post with two heart emoji.

    Victoria and David’s throwback Spice Girls sing-along appeared to have taken place shortly after Lionel Messi made his Inter Miami debut (David co-owns Inter Miami). The Beckhams were there to cheer on Messi along with a number of their famous friends, including Kim Kardashian and her son Saint West, LeBron James, and Marc Anthony. Two of the Beckhams’ children — Harper and Cruz — attended the match, as well.

    After the match, Victoria shared a post featuring candid shots from the afterparty. She captioned the joyful photos, “Work hard play hard! wow!! What a night celebrating with friends in Miami!!!! I love you @davidbeckham x.”

    The couple’s big night may have inspired Victoria to indulge in a bit of Spice Girls nostalgia, but fans of the band shouldn’t expect to see her on tour anytime soon. In a 2022 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” she told host Andy Cohen that she’s too busy to suit up as Posh Spice again.

    “I had so much fun being in the Spice Girls. But I think now with everything else I’ve got going on — with my fashion, and my beauty line, four children — I couldn’t commit to that,” she said of a potential reunion tour. She also confirmed that she still loves to sing the band’s songs during karaoke (as evidenced in the video below). “I had so much fun in the Spice Girls. I love the girls,” she added. “I really, really enjoy singing Spice Girls when I’m doing karaoke.”

This led Drake to share his honest thoughts about marriage and what he’s looking for in a partner.

    When asked why he’s never been married, Drake responded, “I don’t know. It seems like a thing of ancient times or something. I think I will eventually. I don’t know, I don’t think I can offer somebody what they’d be looking for. Just consistency. I think my life, my work is my priority.” Althoff teased her guest by asking if he just wanted to “sleep around,” to which he said he couldn’t offer “consistency” at this stage of his life. “I don’t wanna get married ’cause I just don’t wanna disappoint someone, and I’m not like, Amish,” he said.

    Drake went on to share details about what he looks for in partner, while also asserting that he’s unlikely to marry a fellow celebrity. “I probably will not end up marrying someone famous,” he told Althoff. He added that famous people aren’t “that intriguing.”

    Instead, Drake is looking for someone who is a true individual — and maybe into cosplay? “I like somebody that’s, like, their own,” he explained. “They’re not just not like a carbon copy, like a person that I’ve seen a bunch of times throughout my existence. I like somebody with a sense of humor, you know? I like — I don’t know, like, cosplay.”

    Althoff then asked who the musician would like his prospective partner to dress up as, prompting Drake to clarify his remarks. “No, I don’t need them to [dress up] — I probably will f*ck with them more if they are into cosplay,” he said. “Not with me, just like generally.”

    “You’re weirder than I thought you were,” Althoff said after hearing his response. Drake shot back, “That’s a fact for sure. You have no idea, honey.”

    Both Normani and Metcalf were dressed to impress at the wedding. For her part, the singer wore a formfitting black dress with sheer corset detailing at the waist. Meanwhile, Metcalf opted for a traditional tux jacket and white shirt paired with shorts on the bottom.

    Over the years, Normani has faced her share of dating rumors, but for the most part, she’s kept her private life out of the spotlight. In a 2018 interview with Rolling Stone, she revealed that she has always been cautious at the start of new relationships. “I feel like I’m the one that kind of lays back,” she explained. “I like to read people and try to figure out their intentions first, even though you can never really be too sure.     Rowland didn’t name the outlet she spilled the beans to, but she did share how awful she felt afterwards. “That was the worst moment ever!” she said. “The worst moment ever. It was such a mistake.”

    The “Dilemma” singer didn’t reveal the news on purpose. In fact, it wasn’t until the interviewer was talking to her afterwards that she realized she had let Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s news slip. At that point, it was too late to backtrack.

    “I was like, ‘What are they talking about? I didn’t say . . . Oh my god!’” she said of the moment she realized her mistake. “It was bad because it was no one’s business.” Mann went on to ask if Beyoncé was angry when she found out. “I mean, disappointed. Yesss,” Rowland responded.

    Thankfully, Beyoncé forgave her pal, and they still remain close to this day. Still, the memory of her slip up haunts Rowland even now that Blue Ivy is old enough to join her mom on stage during her Renaissance World Tour. She continued, “I felt terrible because it’s not my news. It was honestly the worst. It wasn’t my news to share, and I didn’t mean it like that. The ‘she’ just kind of slipped out. I was like, ‘Uh-oh.’”

    Stanley Tucci’s relationship with wife Felicity Blunt almost ended before it had a chance to begin. In a July interview with BBC Radio 4’s “Desert Island Discs,” Tucci opened up about his marriage to Emily Blunt’s sister, revealing early on, he tried to break things off due to their age difference. “The Devil Wears Prada” actor is 62, 21 years older than his wife.

    “I was afraid to get into a relationship and I kept trying to break it off,” Tucci said. “I’m 21 years older than she is and I didn’t want to feel old for the rest of my life! But I knew that this was an incredibly special person.”

    It wasn’t just his age that was bothering Tucci. He was also still processing his grief over losing his first wife, Kate Tucci, who died from breast cancer in 2009, when he became involved with Felicity in 2010. The two connected at Emily’s wedding to John Krasinski, but it took the actor some time to let himself fall in love again.

    Ultimately, he realized his connection with Felicity was too strong to ignore, and the pair married in 2012. “Felicity has been so incredible taking on a widower and three children whose mother died,” Tucci said. “That’s a huge thing, at a very young age too. If anybody made things better for all of us, it’s her. She’s the one.”

    Tucci then chose “A Foggy Day (in London Town)” to play on the show, because it’s the song he and Felicity shared their first dance to at their wedding. He also honored Kate by introducing “What a Wonderful World,” which she requested be played at her memorial. “I just loved that she picked this song because that’s the way she saw the world,” he said. “She was always, always upbeat, always saw things in a positive way, no matter what was happening.”

    When Felicity and Tucci married, the literary agent stepped into the role of stepmother to Isabel and Nicolo, both 23, and Camilla, 21. Since then, the couple has welcomed two children together: Matteo Oliver, 8, and Emilia Giovanna, 5.
