    Brendan Fraser joins LA Magazine to celebrate the men defining Los Angeles today

    Our November cover star, Brendan Fraser, celebrated alongside our featured men.

    Los Angeles magazine hosted its annual L.A. Man Event on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Maybourne Beverly Hills and Dante Rooftop to celebrate November’s Men’s Issue and highlight the leading men across Los Angeles, including actors, entrepreneurs, doctors and more.

    November cover star, Brendan Fraser, was in attendance, alongside a bevvy of buzz-worthy guests, including the visionaries behind The Hideaway Beverly Hills: Jeffrey Best, Sylvain Bitton, JT Torregiani, Ryan Phillippe, and Evan Ross.

    Upon arrival, guests walked the red carpet and made their way to the rooftop space to grab a drink, mingle, and enjoy the iconic Beverly Hills views. Throughout the evening, attendees were refreshed with hydration by Acqua Panna and San Pellegrino between sips from Golden Eagle Vodka, Glenfiddich Distillery, Empress 1908 Gin, Shelter Distilling, and Dante’s own signature cocktail bar.

    To document the evening, guests posed in the Klein Epstein Parker portrait studio or took a selfie in Primabiotic’s branded mirror, alongside samples of ready-to-drink collagen.

    The Defiant gifting suite was a popular destination throughout the night and featured products from Salt and Stone, WellBell, Dagne Dover, Magic Mind, Gym Shark, BEAM Protein, More Labs, Mark & Graham, Casetify and Loftie.

    Alongside the festivities, CH Jewelers and TimeVallée set up four cozy cabanas to display their latest collections, offered guests up-close looks at watches from Piaget, and conducted live demonstrations for attendees to learn more about their signature time pieces.

    Los Angeles magazine’s President and Publisher, Christopher Gialanella, and Editor, Jasmin Rosemberg, held a toast to close out the evening, before introducing a live performance of Klaus Nomi’s “Simple Man” by opera GRAMMY®-nominated singer Timur Bekbosunov.

    Guests picked up a skincare gift set from Dr. Few on their way out, featuring a complete skincare routine tailored to the needs of men. 

    The evening was a fitting tribute to the men shaping Los Angeles today—celebrating style, success, and the creative spirit that defines the city.

    Phillippe shared on social media that he has been sober for the longest period of time since his adolescence.

    The 49-year-old actor posted a photo on Instagram to share the good news and shared his tale in the message.

    “Officially the longest I’ve gone since I was a teen without some kind of nicotine or marijuana in my system (among other things…)Feeling thankful for the freedom that comes with breaking addictions and dependency on substance. Sobriety, clarity, and spiritual connectedness feels real good,” Ryan captioned the photo.

    Fans showed love in the comments on Phillippe’s photo with one writing: “Amazing! Keep it up” while another fan commented: “Way to go, seriously awesome.”

    Over the past few years, Phillippe has maintained a focus on his health. He spoke to People in 2016 about fighting depression when he was younger and how he’s learned to manage via self-care.

    “I’m a lot more at peace than I was when I was younger,” he said at the time. “I struggled much more with depression when I was in my 20s and 30s. I think the amount of reading that I’ve done, the work on myself and the ways that I’ve found to cope are healthier than when I was younger.”

    Here’s a headline that you probably didn’t have on your 2023 bingo card: Tom Brady and Reese Witherspoon are allegedly dating, according to Deuxmoi. First of all, the fact that our modern day Gossip Girl is breaking this kind of juicy tea is insanity…but-wait-what?!? Reese only announced her divorce from Jim Toth on March 24.

    This is the kind of power couple that will appeal to the entire world: Tom being a major world class, football player
    of all time. And Reese being actor, director, book club leader extraordinaire. Now, while Reese has had notable relationships with actors like Jake Gylenhaal, this one is the least expected. Also, this is conveniently coming out after Gisele Bunchen was recently linked to billionaire Jeffrey Soffer. Tit-for-tat, anyone?

    Each star has three children…making it a full house! Reese has three children – Ava and Deacon – with ex-husband and ex-co star Ryan Phillippe. And a third – Tennessee – with top talent agent, Jim Toth. Brady has two kids – Benjamin and Vivian – with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen. And another – John – with Bridget Moynahan.

    Tom had
    just shared pictures of himself and fellow former NFL players like Rob Gronkowski partying beach-side, which obviously now warrants a million questions. Is Reese there? Has Tom seen Legally Blonde? Has he read any of her Book Club recs such as Daisy Jones & The Six?

    While not every blind sent into Deuxmoi is necessarily the truth, this has been dubbed a “Deuxmoi Exclusive”. And it’s been re-confirmed on their Twitter account…so we will take this as fact until Tom and Reese tell us otherwise.
