  • XRP Mirrors Gold’s Trajectory: What A Similar ATH Rally Would Mean

    [ad_1]

After enduring weeks of capitulation, sustained price declines, and overall market weakness last year, XRP is showing signs of a recovery. The cryptocurrency has rebounded above the $2.2 level after beginning the new year at a low of above $1.90. According to a crypto expert, XRP’s long-term outlook remains significantly bullish. He compares XRP’s projected trajectory to gold’s price movement, predicting a similar historic all-time high rally.

    XRP Tracks Gold’s Historic Run

Market analyst ‘Steph is Crypto’ has stated that XRP is showing a rare chart setup that closely mirrors gold’s macro move between 2023 and 2025. In his analysis shared on X, the crypto expert explained that after a prolonged corrective phase, XRP has completed a clean Wave 4 structure, formed a Falling Wedge, and is now breaking out in a way that reflects early trend expansion behavior.

    Related Reading

The analyst shared a parallel chart that illustrated gold’s price action over the years on one side and XRP’s movement and future trajectory on the other. Over the two-day timeframe, XRP has completed an impulsive Wave 1-3, followed by a downward-sloping corrective channel that slopes into Wave 4, ending with a compression typical of a Falling Wedge.

    Source: X

Steph is Crypto directly compares this formation and price movement to gold, which went through an almost identical structure earlier between 2022 and 2023. Following this corrective pattern, gold broke out decisively, entering a strong expansion phase that carried the price to new ATHs over the past months. The breakout also led to a sustained rally with minimal pullbacks and consolidation for almost two years.

Based on gold’s explosive historic performance, Steph is Crypto has projected that XRP could replicate a similar trajectory in 2026. The XRP chart shows price stabilizing above the Falling Wedge breakout area near the mid-$2 range. From there, the projected path suggests a rapid expansion phase that mirrors gold’s post-breakout trajectory.

If XRP replicates this historic run, it implies a new all-time high cycle, with the price potentially skyrocketing toward $37 before the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027. The visual projection line on the chart shows that XRP could also experience a similar steady price expansion phase with minimal pullbacks along the way.

Analyst Says XRP Could Outperform Bitcoin Soon

Crypto analyst Matt Hughes has shared a new analysis of the XRP/BTC chart, pointing to a potential shift in long-term price performance. He believes that XRP is gearing up to outperform Bitcoin this year, based on a rate technical signal that just emerged on the trading pair’s chart.

According to Hughes, an incredibly bullish setup that has not appeared in years is developing on the XRP/BTC chart. He stated that price is about to break above the monthly Ichimoku Cloud for the first time since 2018, when XRP exploded to its current ATH of $3.84. Notably, a successful move above this cloud would signal a deep structural change in the cryptocurrency’s trend, potentially leading to significant relative gains this year.

  • Why This Market Analyst Is Warning Crypto Investors To Stop Buying XRP

    [ad_1]

The XRP price could be on the verge of a massive crash, as a crypto analyst has identified a key technical pattern in the cryptocurrency’s structure that signals a potentially severe downturn. According to the analyst, this formation has appeared only twice in XRP’s history, and each time has preceded a devastating loss. If the pattern were to repeat, the cryptocurrency could be headed for more pain. The analyst warns traders and investors to stop buying XRP at this time, citing heightened risk.

Analyst Advices Against Buying XRP As Price Crash Looms

An urgent warning from market analyst Steph is Crypto has spread across the community, as he advises traders and investors to “not touch XRP anymore.” The analyst shared a video of his XRP price forecast on a recent X post, revealing that the altcoin’s long-term indicators point to a troubling setup that could mirror downturns observed during past market cycles.

    Related Reading

Steph Is Crypto shared that his study of the monthly Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) for XRP has revealed a new bearish crossover taking shape, signaling declining momentum. The analyst stated that XRP had formed a bearish crossover on the chart only twice since its inception in 2012. Both times this pattern appeared, the cryptocurrency underwent one of the most dramatic price crashes ever, losing over half its value right after.

He explained that during the first bearish crossover in 2019, XRP crashed by more than 84%. Similarly, a second crossover reemerged in 2022, triggering a deep price decline of about 67%. It’s worth highlighting that each time XRP formed this bearish signal, it was after a major bull market.

In 2018, the cryptocurrency staged a historic rally that sent its price to its current all-time high above $3.84. Likewise, the steep correction in 2022 came on the heels of an explosive 2021 bull market, one of the most powerful in crypto’s history.

Just as in the past, Steph Is Crypto sees a bearish crossover forming once again in the current cycle, suggesting that the conditions are aligning for another devastating price crash. He admitted that he wishes he had not spotted this formation on XRP’s chart, underscoring his usually bullish stance on the cryptocurrency. The analyst has cautioned traders to take this historical setup seriously and to consider the possibility that XRP could revisit significantly lower price ranges if the pattern plays out.

    XRP Price Momentum Remains Weak

XRP remains in a downward trend, with its price barely holding above $2.00. The cryptocurrency has dropped by over 15% so far this month, declined about 2.2% over the past week, and has crashed approximately 16% year to date, according to CoinMarketCap.

XRP’s price momentum is weak, with little indication of a near-term recovery. The cryptocurrency’s Fear and Greed Index has slipped to 42, edging closer to the “fear” zone. This market uncertainty is being driven by the cryptocurrency’s sluggish price action, despite having passed $3.00 earlier this year and nearly challenging its all-time high

  • Model Shows How XRP Could Hit $24 After ETFs Go Live

    [ad_1]

A new pricing model from Diana, a crypto analyst on X, projects that XRP could climb into the $7–$24 range within 60 days of the ETF launch, driven strictly by inflow pressure and the asset’s constrained liquid supply. The model reportedly relies on supply-absorption math, revealing how ETF-driven demand could shift XRP’s market pricing once XRP ETFs go live.

New XRP ETF Inflow Model Maps A Direct Route To $24

Diana’s newly released “XRP ETF Launch Impact Model” outlines a clear, data-driven view on how ETF inflows alone could reprice XRP. Her framework tests multiple launch scenarios involving five to twenty ETFs, each seeded with $10 million to $45 million. Depending on the scale, total inflows range from $50 million to $900 million, absorbing between 0.08% and 1.50% of XRP’s estimated 60-billion-unit liquid supply.

    Related Reading

    Source: X

According to Diana’s projections, this level of liquidity absorption pushes XRP into a thirty-day range of $3.00 to $15.00, with the sixty-day window stretching from $3.80 up to $24.00. The top end of the model—where XRP approaches $24—emerges when twenty ETFs launch with maximum seed capital and nearly a billion dollars in early inflows. Diana argues that as issuers acquire XRP to build underlying exposure, the available float tightens, and the resulting supply squeeze forces a natural repricing cycle.

However, XRP’s real-time price action tells a different story. Despite the successful debut of the Canary XRP ETF, XRP has failed to respond positively. The latest market data shows the asset trading near $2.14, posting a 13.5% decline over the week. Even so, Diana maintains that early price weakness is typical during ETF rollout phases and believes the projected inflow dynamics still position XRP for a sharp upward revaluation once institutional allocations begin to materialize.

The Market Structure Delaying XRP’s Next Major Rally

In a separate post, Diana outlined the market pattern she believes has been driving XRP’s recent price behavior. According to her, traders typically buy ahead of an ETF launch to front-run expected demand, creating a pre-launch rally driven by speculation rather than institutional activity. Once the ETF goes live, those early buyers take profit, producing the sharp launch-day dip that often surprises retail investors.

    Related Reading

Diana noted that institutional inflows never arrive on day one. Wealth managers move through compliance checks, committee approvals, and allocation cycles, meaning real capital enters the market weeks later. She pointed to Bitcoin’s January 2024 ETF rollout as the clearest example, where the asset fell at launch but later surged to new highs as regulated inflows matured.

She argues that XRP is showing the same early-stage pattern now: a weak market following the Canary ETF launch, profit-taking, and a temporary cooling phase. When these delayed inflows eventually begin to accumulate, Diana maintains that they will reinforce an upward pricing dynamic for XRP’s next major climb.

  • Ripple Exec Reveals Why The Bitcoin Price Is So High Now

    [ad_1]

Ripple’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), David Schwartz, has provided a clear explanation for why the Bitcoin price remains so high, currently the most expensive cryptocurrency on the market. Notably, Schwartz’s statement had sparked new discussions across the crypto community. His remarks focused on how people view and use BTC in transactions, revealing a simple economic truth that helps explain the market’s continued confidence in the world’s leading cryptocurrency.

Ripple CTO Explains Logic Behind Elevated Bitcoin Price

On Tuesday, Schwartz shared his thoughts on X, offering a simple but insightful explanation for Bitcoin’s current price strength. Responding to a community member’s question about why anyone would spend BTC given its potential for future appreciation, Schwartz explained that the reason lies in the asset’s perceived value and future expectations.

    Related Reading

According to the Ripple CTO, when individuals use Bitcoin to pay for goods or services, they are essentially realizing the full expected value of its future growth today. Rather than holding Bitcoin as a long-term investment and waiting for price gains, these users convert its potential into immediate utility. This behavior, he noted, reflects a broader belief in BTC’s enduring value and is one of the primary reasons why the cryptocurrency’s price remains so high.

Notably, Schwartz’s remarks followed a conversation that began when Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Square, a business technology company, announced that Bitcoin payments had gone live across the firm’s platforms. Dorsey revealed that Square customers can now pay for services and products using Bitcoin directly, and sellers can choose between multiple settlement options, including BTC-to-BTC, BTC-to-fiat, and fiat-to-BTC transactions. Funds received through Bitcoin payments will be automatically stored in a user’s Square wallet, with self-custody transfer limits of up to $15,000 per day or $50,000 per week.

Interestingly, the timing of Schwartz’s explanation comes a month after BTC reached a new all-time high of over $126,000. Compared to other digital assets, Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency in the six-figure territory, even surpassing traditional investments like gold and major stock indices. While some analysts argue that Bitcoin is overvalued, many investors remain convinced that it could still climb significantly higher in the long term.

Bitcoin Price Expected To Rise Even Higher

The Bitcoin price is currently sitting above the $100,000 level, but analysts believe it could rise even further. The leading cryptocurrency is hovering near $103,300, experiencing some volatility, which has triggered a nearly 2% dip in the past 24 hours amid whale capitulations. Crypto analyst Joe Francesco noted that Bitcoin had initially surged to $107,000 following a wave of optimism sparked by US President Donald Trump’s proposed $2,000 stimulus plan

However, the rally proved short-lived, as BTC fell a few days later. Despite the pullback, Francesco has described the cryptocurrency’s chart setup as positive, predicting that Bitcoin could soon break through $107,000, with the potential to reach $115,000 and even $120,000 if upward momentum continues.

  • XRP Price Teleport To $6: What Happens When The Euphoric Phase Begin

    [ad_1]

The recent market recovery has seen the XRP price look to break the $2.5 level again, which could lead to a continuation of the uptrend. While all eyes remain on the $3 level to be reclaimed right now, bullish expectations abound for the altcoin. The XRP price, despite suffering recent crashes, is expected to reach new all-time highs, beating the $3.8 peak that has been persistent for over seven years now.

What Happens If The XRP Price Regains Momentum

Pseudonymous crypto analyst, “Guy on the Earth”, has shared an analysis of the XRP price that shows the possibilities that lie ahead for the cryptocurrency. So far, the altcoin has continued to consolidate after its rally back in 2024. With almost a year stuck in a consolidation trend and the market picking up, it is possible that the XRP price is finally ready for a breakout.

    Related Reading

One thing that stands out from here is the fact that the XRP price has continued to maintain higher lows through the consolidation trend. This suggests that while the direction may have been down, the overall sentiment still pointed to possible recovery and upside.

Given this, it is expected that the breakout from the consolidation phase would be massive. This could be akin to what was experienced back in November 2024, when the XRP price rallied by over 600% before reaching a top.

The analyst expects XRP to enter into what is essentially a “euphoric phase,” and the price is expected to reach $6. This would translate to an over 100% increase in price, and brand new all-time highs for the first time since 2018.

    Source: X

    The Bears Are Still Lurking

While most indicators are still pointing toward bullishness, there is still the possibility that bears reclaim control once again. The main problem would arise if the XRP price were to fall below $2, setting the tone for the next wave of declines.

    Related Reading

The crypto analyst highlights that a decline below $2 would mean that the bull rally is over and the bear market is looming into view. In the worst-case scenario, the XRP price would fall into a longer consolidation trend, pushing it as low as $1.

Presently, it is important for the XRP price to clear $3 with momentum, putting the bulls in charge. Also, if the Bitcoin price continues to rise, then it could take the whole market into another bull run.

  • Pundit Says XRP Price Can Easily Hit $1,000 If This Happens

    [ad_1]

Crypto expert BarriC has shared a bold view about the future of the XRP price. He believes that it could rise to $1,000 or even higher if it reaches full global use by banks and financial institutions. BarriC says the world has never seen what happens when a digital asset is used on a massive scale by traditional finance. According to him, this level of use could set XRP apart from all other cryptocurrencies.

XRP Price Poised For Historic Gains Amid Global Bank Adoption

BarriC predicts that the XRP price has the potential to reach record-breaking levels once banks and financial firms worldwide begin to adopt the cryptocurrency on a daily basis. If banks move money through XRP on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, the amount of value flowing through the network could be substantial. BarriC believes this could be in the range of millions, billions, or even trillions of dollars over time.

    Related Reading

He explains that no other cryptocurrency has reached this level of real-world use before, which makes XRP’s case very different from past market cycles. BarriC says that when global financial institutions begin using XRP for regular transactions, it will no longer behave like most digital assets. It could then become a key part of how money moves worldwide, and such growth could naturally lead to XRP prices that surpass what the market has seen before.

BarriC’s analysis suggests that the real turning point could come from trust and utility in XRP. As more institutions rely on the network for fast and inexpensive transfers, confidence in the asset is likely to grow significantly. The demand would likely reduce selling pressure and increase the token’s value over time, which, according to BarriC, is when XRP could start to climb toward its predicted $1,000 mark.

XRP Breaking The Traditional Cycle And Entering Uncharted Territory

BarriC also believes that XRP will eventually diverge from Bitcoin’s typical four-year market cycle. He says XRP could move in its own direction once banks widely use it. In his view, the cryptocurrency would no longer need to follow Bitcoin’s ups and downs because it would have its own strong use case. This independence could allow the price to move much higher and stay stable even when other coins face downturns.

    Related Reading

He describes this possible phase as “uncharted territory” for XRP, as it would be the first time a cryptocurrency reaches that level of adoption and the network becomes a significant part of the global payment system. BarriC expects that once this shift happens, XRP could rise far beyond previous highs, possibly reaching $100, $1,000, or more.

The overall analysis by BarriC paints a very hopeful picture for the XRP price. The digital asset may become one of the most valuable cryptocurrencies on the market if the $ 1,000 price prediction comes to fruition.

  • XRP Price Faces 25% Drawdown Risk, But This Technical Point Is Key

    [ad_1]

The XRP price is positioned at a pivotal level that will determine the next trend to play out from here. This was highlighted by crypto analyst, The Alchemist Trader, in a TradingView post that shared notable insights into the current price action of the cryptocurrency. The crypto analyst also explained that there are technical points that will determine the next move, and depending on how bears and bulls perform, there could either be a lot of gains or major losses.

The Three Key Points To Watch

With the XRP price already showing a lot of weakness, The Alchemist Trader explains that the altcoin is now consolidating near the value area low of its local trading range. This sits around the $2.8 level that the price has been moving around over the last few weeks.

    Related Reading

The price trading at this value area low also shows that there are a lot of sellers in the market pushing down the price. It had previously pushed the price back toward a critical support level at $2.7, and this has set the stage for either the next bounce or decline. This is because this level holds a lot of liquidity, meaning it is an equal opportunity point for both bears and bulls.

Given this trend, the crypto analyst has outlined three key technical points that investors should watch for the XRP price. The first of these is the possibility of the XRP price making consecutive lower highs and pushing it toward the value area low, a bearish signal.

Next on the list is that a breakdown from there could push the price toward the Point of Control (POC), as well as the 0.618 Fibonacci and VWAP confluence. Then, last but not least, is the fact that the liquidity at the current levels could mean that there is a sharp wick before the price begins to reverse.

    Source: TradingView

How The XRP Price Could Play Out From Here

As mentioned above, one of the first things to watch out for is the test of the value area low. From here, if the XRP price were to break down, then it would signal that the decline would deepen from here. It would push the target toward the Point of Control (POC) and deeper support levels. Reaching these levels would mean a possible 25% decline toward $2.33.

    Related Reading

However, in the event that this support holds firmly, then the analyst sees the XRP price bouncing back into its trading range. The price could wick down first, but this would end in an eventual stabilization and continuation. In this case, the target is placed at $3.5, possibly setting the price on a campaign for new all-time highs.

  • Ripple’s Interledger Protocol Bridges XRP Into SWIFT Network — Here’s How

    [ad_1]

Ripple is taking another bold step toward mainstream finance by extending the reach of its Interledger Protocol into the SWIFT network, regarded as the backbone of global payments. By enabling interoperability between two of the most influential payment ecosystems, Ripple is positioning XRP as a key player in the future of international money movement.

Could XRP Become A Standard For Settlement?

The strategy for mainstream adoption of the XRP Ledger (XRPL) and its native asset, XRP, is intricately linked to the Interledger Protocol (ILP). As highlighted by researcher SMQKE on X, Ripple’s approach is to become an essential part of the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) network, providing an interoperable layer that seamlessly bridges the old and new financial worlds.

This Interledger Protocol is designed to synchronize separate ledgers without forming a new one, while acting as a connective tissue across financial systems. In many ways, it mirrors SWIFT’s own structure, where the successful processing of a payment message creates binding obligations to pay between nodes and intermediaries.

However, ILP is Ripple’s core strategy for mainstream adoption of the XRP Ledger. By making ILP fully compatible with SWIFT, Ripple ensures that both XRP and its technology can plug into the world’s most dominant payment network.

What’s important about this move is the fact that Ripple itself is now often described as evolving into the Interledger Protocol initiative. Ripple understood that the world would never standardize on a single ledger, which is why it built ILP to enable interoperability to bridge across multiple systems.

Meanwhile, this approach is reinforced through the ISO 20022 adoption to ensure that the entire transaction is secure, seamless, and scalable, offering a superior settlement experience that coexists with the bank’s existing messaging connectivity across the global financial infrastructure. “The strategy is clear: one protocol (ILP), unlimited networks, and seamless XRP movement,” SMQKE noted.

The Promise Of Financial Freedom With XRP

As the crypto landscape expands, XRP has been hailed as an asset that could offer financial breakthroughs. The sentiment expressed by Traveler2236 points to a profound vision of global financial inclusion and the end of economic inequality enforced by legacy systems. His core claim is that there will come a day when XRP will unleash dreams beyond imagination.

Also, there will be no denials because of a credit score, and no more doors closed because your income doesn’t match some arbitrary outcome. Traveler2236’s statement is not merely a prediction, but a declaration of certainty, bordering on a personal epiphany. “This isn’t a dream anymore, it’s happening right now,” the expert stated.

  • XRP Price May Not See An Explosive Rally In October As Expected, Here’s Why

    [ad_1]

The phrase “Uptober” has gained popularity in the crypto market, as October has historically delivered gains in the past. For the XRP price, however, the picture looks very different. A closer look at its history shows a mix of big wins and painful losses, making October far less predictable.

Removing the extreme years shows that the data points to flat or negative results, which means investors counting on an explosive rally may end up disappointed. Although the last quarter of the year has brought substantial gains in some cases, the overall record remains inconsistent, suggesting that “Uptober” may be more of a myth than a promise for XRP holders.

Historical Data Challenges The “Uptober” Hype For XRP Price

Every October, the crypto community hopes that coins will rise, and while Bitcoin sometimes lives up to this expectation, XRP’s history tells a different story. Data from CryptoRank shows that XRP has experienced some notable fluctuations in October over the last decade. In 2013, the token soared by more than 94%. In 2014, it jumped 130%. In 2020, it even delivered an explosive rally of nearly 179% in just one month.

    Related Reading

    Source: CryptoRank

But these massive rallies are rare. In many other years, the results were disappointing. For example, the XRP price suffered double-digit losses in October of 2018 and 2021. In other years, gains were delivered only in tiny amounts, far below what traders had hoped for. Stripping away the highs and lows makes the overall trend clear. The median October return for XRP is actually a slight loss of 1.79%, and the average return is even worse at -4.58%.

This data suggests that October is far more likely to bring disappointment than explosive growth for XRP holders. While the idea of “Uptober” may sound exciting, the history of XRP shows its performance in October is scattered, unpredictable, and often hostile.

Q4 Patterns Show Risk Of Relying On Seasonal Myths

Some traders argue that even if October is not always a great month, the XRP price usually performs well in the final quarter of the year. Indeed, the last quarter has sometimes delivered big rallies, and the average Q4 return for XRP is nearly 88%. But these results are heavily skewed by a few extraordinary years. When the numbers are balanced, the median return for Q4 is actually a loss of 4.32%.

    Related Reading

The negative median Q4 return shows that the perception of Q4 strength is not as reliable as many believe. The standout rallies do not represent the typical outcome. Instead, most years end up modest or even negative. The pattern points to risk, not certainty, for those who assume every Q4 will bring green candles.

Past data proves that while extraordinary runs are possible, they are rare, and the more common result is far less exciting. XRP could still surprise to the upside, but history warns against treating October as a guaranteed month of gains. Believing the hype without considering the risks may leave investors unprepared for disappointment.

  • Expert Reveals Why XRP Won’t Mirror Bitcoin’s Path And Why A Decoupling Is Imminent

    [ad_1]

The crypto market has long moved in the shadow of Bitcoin, because for years, its rallies and sharp drops have pulled nearly every other digital asset such as XRP with it. However, according to Versan Aljarrah, co-founder of Black Swan Capitalist, the XRP token could break away from this cycle. According to him, XRP is on a different mission, one that goes beyond speculation and closer to real-world use. That role is why he says it will not mirror Bitcoin’s path, and why a decoupling is now on the horizon.

Versan Aljarrah Reveals XRP’s Institutional Role Sets It Apart From Bitcoin

Aljarrah stresses that XRP does not follow Bitcoin’s “digital gold” story. While Bitcoin serves as a store of value, XRP serves a very different purpose. In the X post, the expert refers to the cryptocurrency as a bridge asset for banks and financial institutions.

    Related Reading

In today’s financial world, cross-border payments can often be slow, expensive, and risky because of foreign-exchange issues. XRP addresses these problems by cutting out multiple intermediaries. According to Aljarrah, this practical utility places XRP closer to the daily operations of global finance, rather than the speculative trading behavior that defines Bitcoin.

Rather than acting like a typical cryptocurrency, XRP is evolving into core financial infrastructure. That transformation, according to Aljarrah, could move XRP far beyond a purely speculative asset and position it as part of the underlying system that connects currencies and payment networks worldwide.

Why Regulatory Clarity And Adoption Drive XRP Toward Decoupling

For years, one of the biggest obstacles facing XRP was legal uncertainty. Ripple Labs, the company associated with XRP, was embroiled in a lawsuit with the SEC. But that cloud has now lifted. Court rulings have made it clear that XRP sales on public exchanges are not securities transactions, and with the appeals dropped, the case is now closed.

With the court issue resolved, attention is shifting to growth, as developers are now adding new tools for institutions to the XRP ecosystem, including automated market making, stablecoin support, and updated token standards.

    Related Reading

Banks, fintech companies, and payment providers are starting to test and integrate with XRP. At the same time, the XRP Ledger is growing stronger. Ripple has also launched RLUSD, a stablecoin, and is working on obtaining banking licenses worldwide. All these steps point toward a token that evolves into financial infrastructure rather than remaining a speculative play.

Aljarrah notes that these changes mean XRP will no longer move like Bitcoin. Its price will not only depend on market speculation but also on its usage, the strength of regulations, and the growing demand for instant settlement.  For these reasons, he believes decoupling is certain. Over time, XRP will carve its own path as adoption spreads and its role in finance becomes more central.

  • Ripple’s XRP Ledger Just Introduced A Pivotal Update In Its Quest For Dominance

    [ad_1]

New updates have been made to Ripple’s XRP Ledger (XRPL) as the network looks to dominate and gain more traction. This is also a positive for XRP, which serves as the network’s bridge currency.

Ripple’s XRP Ledger Gets A New Update

In an X post, XRP validator Vet revealed that the credentials amendment on the XRP Ledger is now active. He explained that credentials can be applied to attest to compliance requirements, such as KYC and AML, for a user or institution and issued to their decentralized identity. This helps to further build trust in the network.

    Related Reading

Vet also noted that the amendment has all been done natively on the XRP Ledger. Notably, this update is part of a larger move to enable compliance amendments on the network. With decentralized identities and credentials implemented, Vet indicated that their next focus is to work on the permissioned domains and permissioned DEX.

Ripple and other XRP Ledger stakeholders aim to utilize these compliance amendments to attract more institutions to the network, enabling them to adhere to traditional finance (TradFi) standards even on-chain. This also comes as the network aims to become the go-to for tokenization. Ripple recently stated that 10% of global assets will become tokenized by 2030, and is undoubtedly looking to tap into this trillion-dollar market.

Ripple Engineer Breaks Down Significance Of This Update

In an X post, Ripple engineer Kenny explained that the credentials update gives developers and businesses a way to handle identity checks and compliance requirements directly on the XRP Ledger. With these, they do not need to approve each account one by one manually.  The Ripple engineer noted that traditionally, verifying user credentials like KYC requires multiple checks across different platforms.

    Related Reading

Kenny remarked that this process isn’t only inefficient but also increases privacy risks because sensitive information has to be shared multiple times. As such, this makes the XRP Ledger credentials update vital. The Ripple engineer revealed that this feature enables credentials to be issued, stored, and verified natively on the XRPL

He noted the benefits of how this allows users to prove a required criterion without undergoing repeated verification. Kenny also stated that this will improve the onboard process and enhance security, while maintaining privacy. The Ripple engineer further gave an example of what a typical flow will look like using this credentials feature.

A business will define the credentials it requires, such as the KYC, then a trusted issuer creates and signs that credential. The user then accepts and stores these credentials in their XRP Ledger account. That way, the credential is checked on-chain whenever the user interacts with the business.

At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $2.83, up in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

XRP ‘The Safest Investment To Make 100% ROI’ – Former Asset Manager Shares Price Targets

Este artículo también está disponible en español.

XRP is holding strong above a critical price level after weeks of choppy price action, now testing local demand to push higher. Many analysts and investors remain confident about a potential surge in the coming months, with some projecting significant price gains once XRP consolidates above current levels.

    Related Reading

One top analyst and former asset manager, Amdtrades, shares this optimistic outlook, predicting a price increase above $1.26 shortly. Despite the confidence, uncertainty lingers across the broader market.

The next few days will be crucial in determining the overall direction of XRP and the crypto market. Analysts believe that how XRP performs during this period could either fuel bullish sentiment or lead to further consolidation. Investors are closely watching these developments, as XRP’s movement could set the tone for market trends in the coming months.

XRP Could Surge To $1.26 In Weeks

XRP has recently demonstrated notable resilience compared to other altcoins. It has held firm above key liquidity areas and signaled a positive outlook for the months ahead. Many analysts and investors are beginning to notice the potential for a substantial price surge shortly.

One prominent crypto analyst, Amdtrades, with nine years of experience as an asset manager and derivatives trader, recently shared his technical analysis on X, highlighting XRP’s strong positioning. In his analysis, Amdtrades showcased a weekly XRP chart that clearly outlines a defined uptrend. This uptrend has been consistently respected by the price, suggesting solid monthly support that could serve as the foundation for further upward momentum in this market cycle.

Amdtrades views XRP as one of the safest investments for those seeking a 100% return on investment (ROI) in the crypto space. He has identified several key price targets for XRP, specifically around $1.18 and $1.26, which he anticipates will be reached in the coming weeks.

    Related Reading

According to his analysis, if XRP continues to hold above current levels and successfully clears out local supply near $0.70, an aggressive surge toward these targets is highly likely.

Such a breakout would not only validate XRP’s uptrend but also position the cryptocurrency for even higher price levels as bullish sentiment strengthens. As the market faces uncertainty, XRP remains a strong contender for those looking to capitalize on its strength and potential upside in the near term.

    Price Action Details

XRP is currently trading at $0.587 after several days of volatility, following a 19% surge from local lows. The altcoin has struggled to break past this price level, but it remains above a critical support area.

XRP is trading above the 4-hour 200 exponential moving average (EMA) at $0.563, which has acted as a key indicator of short-term strength. This level was tested as support yesterday, confirming XRP’s recent stability despite volatile market conditions.

For bulls to maintain momentum, XRP must break above the $0.60 mark, confirming a higher high and signaling a move toward higher supply levels. Breaking this resistance would suggest the continuation of a bullish trend and potentially lead to a stronger recovery for the altcoin.

    Related Reading

On the other hand, if XRP fails to maintain support above the 4H 200 EMA, it could face a deeper correction. A breakdown would likely lead the price to test local demand around the $0.545 level, putting short-term bullish hopes in jeopardy. Maintaining support at current levels is essential for a sustainable rally.

  • Ripple’s 150 Million XRP Sale Keeps Price Surpressed Amid Bearish Headwinds

Ripple’s 150 Million XRP Sale Keeps Price Surpressed Amid Bearish Headwinds

    [ad_1]

Ripple has again raised concerns in the XRP community following its recent XRP sale. This comes amid XRP’s unimpressive price action, which continues to paint a bearish outlook for the crypto token.

    Ripple Sells 150 Million Tokens

On-chain data shows that the crypto firm offloaded 150 million XRP tokens ($78 million) on June 7. These tokens formed part of the 1 billion XRP tokens, which were recently unlocked as part of its monthly escrow unlock, which is set to continue until 2027. As expected, this sale has raised concerns, considering the impact many believe it could have on the market.

    Related Reading

Moreover, this sale follows Ripple’s recent unusual transactions, when the crypto firm moved 3 billion XRP tokens ($1.5 billion) across different wallets in the space of 30 minutes. However, crypto analyst Michael Nardolillo explained that those transactions were mainly internal movements and escrow re-lockups.

This recent sale of $150 million XRP tokens will again raise the theory of price suppression by Ripple. While it has been revealed that the crypto firm’s XRP sales have no impact on prices on crypto exchanges, it undoubtedly adds to the bearish sentiment that crypto investors already have towards the token.

Furthermore, Ripple’s XRP sales lead to a positive supply shock, with more XRP tokens being injected into circulation. Such development tends to have a negative impact on a crypto’s price and could lead to significant price declines.

It is also worth mentioning that this sale comes at a time when the market sentiment towards XRP is as bearish as it can be. This is partly thanks to the fact that the crypto token remains one of the worst-performing crypto assets since the year began, with a year-to-date (YTD) loss of over 18%.

    XRP Will Still Be Great

Despite XRP’s unimpressive price action, crypto analysts have continued to predict the crypto token will still have its moment when it will experience that price breakout and make a parabolic move to the upside. Crypto analyst Javon Marks recently mentioned that the XRP is about to make a name if it hadn’t already done so.

    Related Reading

He made this statement while revealing that a Hidden Bullish Divergence setup had formed on the altcoin’s chart. He claimed that XRP’s price went up by over 63,000% in less than a year the last time this happened. He suggested that such a move could be on the horizon again with XRP at its breaking point. Meanwhile, Crypto analyst CryptoBull also recently predicted that the cryptocurrency could enjoy a 28,900% rally and rise to $154.

At the time of writing, XRP is trading at around $0.49, down over 4% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

Expert Charts 1,400% Course To $7.5 For XRP Price As RSI Falls To All-Time Low

    [ad_1]

Crypto analyst Egrag Crypto has provided another bullish narrative for the XRP price. This time, he outlined two scenarios that could occur and cause the crypto token to experience a breakout, potentially sending it as high as $7.5. This comes with the recent revelation that XRP’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) has reached its lowest ever.

Time For An XRP Price Breakout

Egrag Crypto shared a chart in an X (formerly Twitter) post that showed that the crypto token could rise to $7.5 when it accomplishes the breakout, which the crypto analyst claimed is imminent. Egrag highlighted a “White Triangle” breakout on the chart, which he stated is “aligning perfectly” with the previous charts and the Fib 0.702 to 0.786 levels.

    Source: X

He added that the measured move is projected to be between $1.2 and $1.5 before XRP could take off and climb to $7.5. Egrag further remarked that the “critical breakout point” for XRP is around $0.70 and $0.7’5 and that the crypto token is “poised” to achieve this breakout in the “next couple of weeks.

Egrag warned that XRP could still experience significant declines before then, stating that a retest of the breakout might be on the cards. However, he is convinced that a “MEGA RUN for XRP is on the horizon.”

Meanwhile, for the second scenario of how XRP could achieve its impending breakout, Egrag Crypto highlighted an ‘Atlas Line’ on the XRP chart and claimed that the breakout point for XRP is at $0.6799. He noted that XRP is still holding strong “like a boss” on the atlas line, suggesting it shouldn’t be long before it breaks above $0.6799.

In the meantime, $0.5777 and $0.5000 are key price levels that XRP holders should monitor. Egrag labels them resistance and support levels for XRP’s upward trend along this atlas line.

XRP Hits Its Lowest RSI In History

Egrag revealed in a more recent X post that XRP’s RSI is at its lowest ever. He noted that this assertion was based on the monthly time frame and shared a chart to prove his claim. Following his revelation, Egrag highlighted how bullish this was for XRP, stating, “If this isn’t a positive signal, I don’t know what is.”

    XRP price 3

The chart he shared showed that XRP’s Relative Strength Index is at 38, which is indeed bullish for the crypto token. Low RSI levels are considered a buy signal since they suggest that the coin is oversold and undervalued. Therefore, crypto investors might be looking to accumulate XRP, with these buy orders expected to trigger a move to the upside for the crypto token.

At the time of writing, XRP is trading at around $0.52, up almost 1% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

  • XRP Price Prediction: Analyst Says Prepare For 700% Jump To $4, Here’s When

XRP Price Prediction: Analyst Says Prepare For 700% Jump To $4, Here’s When

    [ad_1]

The bullish predictions for the XRP price are back, even with the bulls struggling to push the crypto on a price surge. EGRAG, a cryptocurrency expert, has made one of these positive forecasts, which is that there will be a price spike of tremendous magnitude. According to the analyst’s recent post on social media, XRP could reach the $4 price level over the long term.

Crypto Analyst Predicts 700% Bullish XRP Price Action

XRP has experienced a small decline in value over the past few days as the entire crypto market consolidates in price action. XRP’s price movement this year has largely left many of its fervent enthusiasts feeling disappointed, particularly considering the fact that it is yet to reach the $1 mark as predicted by many analysts.

Data from Coinmarketcap shows XRP now finds itself bouncing around at the $0.51 price mark after retesting the $0.435 on April 13. However, according to EGRAG, this is poised to change soon.

EGRAG, known for this very bullish stance on XRP, recently noted in his analysis that the current XRP price movement mimics the 2021 move which saw it breaking as high as $1.8. According to his analysis, EGRAG divided the price outlook into two sections blue and yellow, each depicting mirror images of 2021 price movement.

The blue section is more of a narrow price trajectory which suggests that XRP could reach $1.4 by June or July, with a price range between $1.2 to $1.8. Meanwhile, the yellow section is a more bullish price trajectory. According to the analyst, XRP could reach the $4 price level by June or July if it follows the yellow section of 2021’s movement. Interestingly, a surge to the $4 price level would put the price of XRP at a new all-time high.

    What’s Next For XRP?

EGRAG is one of the many crypto analysts who are still bullish on XRP’s price trajectory. His long-term price projection for XRP is $27, which he believes is still viable. At the time of writing, XRP is trading at $0.5148, down by 16.8% in the past 30 days.

This means in order to reach $4 in July, the bulls will have to push the crypto on a 677% increase in less than three months. Although the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies suggests this price run is possible, current market dynamics point to modest XRP price gains at best.

On the other hand, on-chain metrics have revealed that a bullish sentiment might be returning to XRP. Notably, the amount of XRP wallets holding at least 1 million coins has been surging recently, which could be a signal of a coming price surge.

  • Crypto Analyst Reveals Why Most Realistic XRP Price Lies Between $13 And $39

Crypto Analyst Reveals Why Most Realistic XRP Price Lies Between $13 And $39

    [ad_1]

The future of the XRP price has been a hot topic of contention among crypto analysts for a while now. Most of these analyses focus on the possible movements of the price as the bull market unfolds, as well as possible price targets. In the same vein, crypto analyst CryptoBull has presented their own bull case for the altcoin, giving the most realistic price targets.

Long Time Price Channel Shows Realistic Price

In the analyst CryptoBull posted on X (formerly Twitter), he shows the historical price movement of the altcoin going as far back as 2014. The analyst uses this to deduce the possible trajectory of the XRP price in the coming months using the XRP price channel.

According to CryptoBull, using this data, the most realistic price for the altcoin currently sits somewhere between $13 and $39. ”The long-term price channel shows the most realistic #XRP price between $13 and $39 in the coming months!” CryptoBull stated.

While the lower end of this channel of $13 was more realistic, the upper end of $39 has drawn criticism from the community. In response to CryptoBull’s prediction, another X user, Ben McClymans, said it was “crazy talk.” This is because for XRP’s price to reach $39 per coin, then its market cap would have to be larger than that of Ethereum, which is currently the second-largest cryptocurrency in the market.

However, other community members jumped to the defense of XRP, reminding Ben that the market cap of XRP had actually flipped Ethereum before. Given this, they believe that it is possible that it will end up flipping to Ethereum once again.

    XRP Price Performance Worries Investors

The XRP price performance over the last few years has worried investors because while other altcoins were hitting new all-time highs, XRP continued to struggle. However, this is understandable given that the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sued Ripple in 2020, which adversely affected XRP’s performance.

The XRP price had crashed off the back of the announcement alone and did not recover as well as expected. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, though, as the lawsuit with the SEC seems to be coming to an end. The court looks to be leaning toward a settlement, which would put an end to the case once and for all.

To get an idea of what could happen with the XRP price when the lawsuit is over, we can take a look at what happened when Ripple secured a partial victory over the SEC in 2023. After Judge Analisa Torres declared that XRP programmatic sales did not qualify as securities, XRP jumped more than 60% in a single day.

The lawsuit is currently the biggest hindrance to the XRP price performance, and expectations are that the price will surge once it’s over. If it does so, then CryptoBull’s prediction could end up playing out.

  • XRP Records Highest Single Day Whale Accumulation Since Ripple’s Partial Victory Over SEC

XRP Records Highest Single Day Whale Accumulation Since Ripple’s Partial Victory Over SEC

    [ad_1]

Market intelligence platform Santiment recently revealed how XRP whales look to be going all in on XRP following significant purchases of the crypto token. Notably, these buys are said to be the most since Ripple’s partial victory over the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

    XRP Records 217 Whale Transactions

Santiment stated in an X (formerly Twitter) post the XRP Ledger processed 217 ‘$1 million whale transactions’ on the network on January 31. This happens to be the most transactions of such magnitude recorded in a single day since Judge Analisa Torres ruled that XRP wasn’t a security in itself last year July.

Just like Santiment noted, such an occurrence has the potential to impact XRP’s price positively. XRP had risen to as high as $1 on the back of Judge Torres’ ruling as it strengthened the conviction of the altcoin’s holders, who then decided to double down on their investments. If such a similar scenario plays out again, then XRP is expected to experience price surges soon enough.

The market intelligence platform also added that some key signals indicated that XRP was “one of the better candidates for a bounce, assuming Bitcoin Bitcoin can stabilize the rest of the week.” The altcoin had dropped below the crucial support level of $0.5 following Bitcoin’s recent decline. However, it is back above that level as the market shows signs of recovery.

Meanwhile, despite XRP’s relatively stagnant price action, these whales do not seem to be worried. Santiment revealed that wallets holding at least 10 million XRP tokens combined to hold 67.2% of the available supply, the most since December 31, 2022.

Binance Freezes $4.2 Million Worth Of Tokens

Binance CEO Richard Teng stated in an X post that the crypto exchange had managed to freeze $4.2 million worth of XRP, which was part of the proceeds from the recent XRP exploit. NewsBTC had reported how there was a breach on the personal XRP accounts of Ripple’s co-founder Chris Larsen, which led to the theft of more than 213 million tokens.

Teng also mentioned that the Binance team will help retrieve the remaining funds in any way they can. He added that they were closely monitoring the majority of the funds in the exploiter’s external wallets just in case they tried depositing these tokens to Binance.

The exploiter is reported to have laundered some of these funds through crypto exchanges like MEXC, Gate, Kraken, OKX, and HitBTC.

  • Exploit Causes XRP Price Crash: Ripple Co-founder Discloses Losses Of $113 Million

Exploit Causes XRP Price Crash: Ripple Co-founder Discloses Losses Of $113 Million

    [ad_1]

XRP experienced a significant price drop early Wednesday amidst rumors of a potential exploit. The XRP price dropped more than 4% to $0.4853 but later recovered to $0.500 following a clarification from one of Ripple’s co-founders.

Personal XRP Accounts Impacted, Not Ripple’s

Initial reports suggested that Ripple had suffered a significant security breach, which was brought to light by decentralized finance (DeFi) investigator ZachXBT. These reports raised concerns about the overall security of the Ripple protocol.

According to investigations, the breach resulted in the theft of more than 213 million XRP tokens, valued at over $112 million. The stolen funds were reportedly laundered through cryptocurrency exchanges, including MEXC, Gate, Binance, Kraken, OKX, HTX, and HitBTC.

However, Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen took to X (formerly Twitter) to clarify the situation. In a recent post, Larsen stated:

Yesterday, there was unauthorized access to a few of my personal XRP accounts (not Ripple) – we were quickly able to catch the problem and notify exchanges to freeze the affected addresses. Law enforcement is already involved.

    XRP Price Analysis

Despite the recent security concerns, XRP is trading at $0.5085, marking a 3.4% decrease in the past 24 hours. However, beyond the Ripple co-founder’s personal account exploit, the XRP price has experienced a significant decline over the past month.

Over the last seven days, the token has seen a minor 1.3% drop. The decline has deepened in the previous fourteen days with a 10% decrease. This is more problematic for XRP enthusiasts because the price has lost significant ground over the past 30 days, with an 18% dip.

Nevertheless, XRP bull and crypto analyst EGRAG Crypto provides an intriguing price analysis that could potentially encourage investors toward a price recovery if the token manages to hold and consolidate above the $0.500 level.

XRP price targets are based on the Elliott Wave theory. Source: EGRAG Crypto on X

According to EGRAG, a handful of chart analysts have noted that after wave 1 of the Elliott Wave theory, wave 2 could retrace up to 90% of wave 1. The initial targets of $0.85 to $1 were successfully reached during the July pump, with the price reaching around $0.93 after Ripple’s partial victory against the SEC in its ongoing legal battle over XRP classification.

Currently, EGRAG suggests that a “wicking event” down to $0.41 is possible, considering a 10%-15% fluctuation due to the volatile nature of the crypto markets.

However, the analyst points out that the upside lies in the upcoming Wave 3, which is influenced by Wave 1 and typically has a ratio of 1.618 compared to Wave 1.

If all of this plays out, EGRAG ultimately sees the next short-term target for XRP being the all-time high (ATH) at $5. If the original wave count is adjusted, the range could be between $2.2 and $2.8.

  • XRP Price Will See 1,000% Rally When ‘Black Cloud’ Dissolves, What This Means

XRP Price Will See 1,000% Rally When ‘Black Cloud’ Dissolves, What This Means

    [ad_1]

The host of the ‘Discover Crypto’ YouTube channel has boldly claimed that the XRP price could surge by 1000% from its current price range. He highlighted the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) case against Ripple as one of the factors that could spark this price surge.

XRP Price Could Do A 10X When Ripple And SEC Settle

In a video posted on the YouTube channel, the analyst suggested that XRP would rise significantly once Ripple and the SEC finally settled. He described this long-running legal battle between both parties as a  “black cloud” that has continued to cause uncertainty in the XRP market.

He further noted how investors strongly dislike uncertainty, which could explain why they have continued to trade with caution rather than doubling down on their XRP investments. Meanwhile, the ‘Discover Crypto’ host believes that irrespective of how much Ripple ends up being fined, a settlement will no doubt be ‘positive news’ and the trigger for the price surge.

The crypto analyst went on to break down four other reasons why he believes that XRP’s price could surge by 1000%. First, he stated that a Ripple Initial Public Offering (IPO) could also trigger a significant rally for XRP. This price pump, he claims, will be facilitated by market makers and whales who would want to create a positive sentiment around the IPO launch.

To back up this point, he alleged that the biggest move for Bitcoin in 2021 wasn’t as a result of Bitcoin Halving or any market cycle but because of the Coinbase IPO. These same market makers are said to have pumped the flagship crypto’s price then.

Other Factors That Could Spark XRP’s Parabolic Move

The crypto analyst outlined crypto legislation as the third reason why XRP could rise exponentially from its current price levels. While admitting that the entire crypto market will benefit from this, he expects XRP to be one of the tokens that enjoy the most gains from this development.

Institutional adoption is also predicted to be another catalyst in XRP’s parabolic move. The ‘Discover Crypto’ host noted how the Spot Bitcoin ETFs have opened the doors to mainstream adoption. As such, he expects that more entities will want to add crypto tokens like XRP to their portfolio alongside their Bitcoin exposure.

The fifth factor that could spark the 1000% rally for XRP is the Bitcoin Halving. The crypto analyst predicts that all crypto tokens, including XRP, are going to pump post-halving. As such, he believes that buying XRP at $0.50 now is definitely a steal.

  • Crypto Analyst Explains How XRP Could See Massive 4500% Jump To $27

Crypto Analyst Explains How XRP Could See Massive 4500% Jump To $27

    [ad_1]

Crypto analyst Egrag Crypto has once again reiterated his prediction that XRP will hit $27 soon. This time, he provided an analysis of how that will happen using XRP’s moving average as a point of reference.

How Price Will Rise To $27

Egrag suggested in an X (formerly Twitter) post that XRP could rise to $27 while analyzing the 21 Exponential Moving Average (EMA) on the monthly time frame. The analyst assessed price percentages that occur when XRP’s price is positioned either above or on the 21 EMA. Using this, he then predicted that the altcoin hitting $27 was on the cards.

From the accompanying chart that the crypto analyst shared, one could see that he was simply hinting at XRP replicating past percentage moves. Back in 2017, XRP had risen by over 4500%. In 2018, it rose by another 1000% and saw a 500% increase in 2021 after years of consolidation.

    Source: X

This isn’t the first time that Egrag is predicting that XRP will rise to $27. As part of his previous analysis of how XRP will rise to this price level, he stated that this was a “plausible target,” having the 2017 surge in mind when XRP saw a 61,000% gain in 280 days. Interestingly, Egrag’s recent chart shows that this price prediction could happen sometime this year.

    XRP To $1.4 Before Then

In the meantime, Egrag predicts that XRP could rise to $1.4 between March and April. According to him, once that happens, it will pave the way for “swift progression to $5 and beyond.” $5 is another price level that the XRP community has its sights on, considering that the analyst had boldly claimed that the token will hit it in 90 days.

Meanwhile, the crypto analyst is also aware of the fact that XRP investors are growing anxious about the crypto token’s stagnant price action despite ultra-bullish predictions. He warned these individuals against letting their emotions get in the way as the outcome of these emotions is “suboptimal” for effective trading or investing in the crypto space.

To be successful in such a volatile market, Egrag claims that a strategic and disciplined approach is required. In the process, one is able to build mental fortitude. This is also critical as trading in the crypto space is “indeed a mental game, demanding robust, sharp, and resilient metal skills to navigate the dynamic and unpredictable nature of these markets.”

At the time of writing, XRP is trading at around $0.52, up over 3% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
