The time has come for the 2024 Grammy Awards, and it’s set to be an unforgettable night. We’ll be seeing performances from the biggest stars in music. We’re talking Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo and even the legendary Joni Mitchell. But first, let’s admire the stylish goodness of the celebrities on the Grammy Awards red carpet — a sight we only wish we could experience IRL.

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards give the industry (and fans alike) a chance to celebrate the best achievements in music. Leading the nominations is R&B favourite SZA. Aussie icons Troye Sivan and Kylie Minogue join her on the nominee list, both vying for the same category — Best Pop Dance. Some awards have already been announced prior to the ceremony’s official start. You can take a look at the full winners list here.

As for who’s hosting the Grammy Awards 2024, comedian Trevor Noah will be taking the reigns as master of ceremonies. We’re hoping for his quick wit and intelligent banter on stage, as we saw with Chelsea Handler at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards earlier this year. A number of presenters will join him to announce the main award winners.

Now, let’s take a look at the best looks on the Grammy Awards 2024 Red Carpet. We’ve rounded up all the stunning celebrity looks from your favourites.

Award-show season is in full swing, and tonight is music’s big night—the Grammys. The highly anticipated red carpet for fashion and music lovers alike is here, and I cannot wait to see what iconic fashion moments come from this year’s award show. The thing I love about the Grammys is that celebrities get to have a little more fun with their looks. It’s not as formal as other red carpets and encourages the nominees to really show out. One artist who never disappoints when it comes to a red carpet is Dua Lipa. The pop sensation has had quite the year, and her top-charting song for 2023’s Barbie—“Dance the Night”—gained her two nominations tonight. With whatever she wore tonight, I knew she wasn’t going to disappoint. Lipa arrived on the carpet donning red hair and a shimmery custom Courrèges dress with hip-baring cutouts and a plunging neckline—not to mention the stunning Tiffany & Co. necklace in platinum and 18k yellow gold with orange sapphires, padparadscha sapphires, rubellites, and diamonds draped around her neck.

This isn’t the first time Lipa has slayed at the Grammys. At the 2022 ceremony, she showed off her figure while rocking a vintage bondage dress from Versace’s 1992 fall/winter collection. The gown featured a bra top, a sheer bodice adorned with leather straps and a fitted black skirt. She elevated her ensemble with a chunky gold bracelet and a statement necklace.

We have a confession to make, and it might be a bit of a hot take. Our favorite part of award season is definitely the Grammy Awards. While shows like the Golden Globes and Academy Awards deliver in the fashion department, we find the actual show at each of these events to be a little too slow-paced for our taste. (Sorry.) The Grammy Awards, however, offer powerhouse performances and next-level beauty looks to boot. Much more our speed!

This year, the Grammys are taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles with performances from all our favorites, including Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish. While we’re positively itching to see what everyone will wear, we’re poised at the ready to swoon over all the out-of-this-world beauty looks. We’re looking at you, Taylor Swift. What will she wear this time? Will she win Album of the Year and set a record for most wins in the category? We’ll find out! In the meantime, scroll through all the most “ooh”- and “aah”-worthy looks we’ve clocked so far on the carpet.

Greta Lee’s Recent Red Carpet Looks Are a Case Study in Award-Season Dressing

    [ad_1]

Since starring in the Spanish house’s S/S 24 campaign alongside Dame Maggie Smith and Dakota Fanning, Lee’s been almost exclusively a Loewe woman, with exceptions only really being made for Proenza Schouler, Prada, Ferragamo, Chanel, and Bottega Veneta (casual). First, there was her custom black, ring-neck Loewe dress at the 2023 CFDA Fashion Awards, where she presented Anderson with the International Designer of the Year Award. Later that year came her lauded red, custom Loewe gown for the Academy Museum Gala

Then came 2024. With Anderson and Goldberg leading the way, every red carpet look of Lee’s has been a hit, from her custom Loewe almost-bridal look at the Golden Globes to her rhinestone-embellished pajama look from the brand’s men’s S/S 24 collection at the Critics Choice Awards. And award season, not to mention the year, is just beginning. With the BAFTAs, People’s Choice Awards, and, of course, the Oscars still to come, to say that our expectations are high for Lee’s red carpet looks would be the understatement of the century.

In the meantime, float down memory lane below, where photos of Lee’s best red carpet looks from 2023 and 2024 so far are ready to be feasted on.

Now that Sofia Richie has announced her pregnancy to the world, we have her maternity outfits to look forward to. She’s already treated us to several looks this week, including her first red carpet appearance since announcing. Richie walked the red carpet with her husband Elliot Grainge for a pre-Grammys event in L.A., and as to be expected, her look was wildly chic.

Richie wore a black off-the-shoulder blazer and trousers paired with black slingback heels. What really made the ensemble were her earrings, which were right in step with one of the biggest jewelry trends of the upcoming season. Hello, ’80s-inspired earrings—goodbye, delicate and dainty earrings. Richie’s oversize square earrings were reminiscent of the glamorous, statement-making earrings of the decade. The bold onyx-and-gold earrings provided a perfect contrast to her subdued outfit. Take notes because pairing ’80s earrings with low-key outfits is the best way to ensure that your look doesn’t come across as costumey.

With that, read on to shop ’80s-inspired earrings for yourself.

  • Sofia Richie Grainge’s Baby Bump Makes Red Carpet Debut at Pre-Grammys 2024 Party

Sofia Richie Grainge’s Baby Bump Makes Red Carpet Debut at Pre-Grammys 2024 Party

    [ad_1]

Sofia Richie Grainge has taken her popular get ready with me videos to the next level: Think a makeup tutorial is exciting? How about following a months-long journey to parenthood, like the one Richie Grainge is on after she revealed to Vogue last week that she and husband Elliot Grainge are expecting a baby girl.

The model gave her growing baby bump its red carpet debut Thursday night at the Warner Music Group pre-Grammys 2024 party at Los Angeles’ Citizen News. She wore a black off-the-shoulder top, unbuttoned slightly at the bottom, black pants, and black slingback heels. She accessorized her monochrome look with David Yurman jewelry (Richie Grainge is an ambassador for the brand) and a black clutch purse.

Richie Grainge and Grainge got married on the French Riviera in April 2023 in one of the most talked-about celebrations of the year, spurring an obsession with the “quiet luxury” look that many say Richie Grainge embodies. (For the record, she says the term “sounds really nice, so I’m not knocking it, but [my stylist] Liat Baruch and I started working together properly about three and a half years ago, and when we met, our word was ‘timeless.’”) Richie Grainge walked down the aisle in custom-designed Chanel, one of three looks the house created for her that she wore during her wedding festivities.

Richie Grainge, 25, told Vogue that she and Grainge, 30, had been “casually trying” to get pregnant since their wedding, and that she confirmed this pregnancy “very, very early.”

“I was about four weeks pregnant. I was on a trip to Milan for Fashion Week, and I was going to the Prada show. I was doing a really quick 24-hour turnaround, and I felt terrible but didn’t think much of it. I thought it was jet lag,” she said. Knowing that she was going out with friends the next night and that her period was a few days late, she took a cheap test to be safe. When she saw a line indicating a positive, she sent Grainge to the store for more tests.

“He was so excited,” she said of her husband. “We spoke the whole way on the phone. And when he came home, he’s such a sweet guy he always wants to protect my emotions and expectations, so he kind of sat me down and said, ‘If these are negative, don’t be upset. Our moment will come.’ When we turned over all three tests at the same time they were all positive. He was so excited, and we both cried. It was crazy and overwhelming and so hard not to scream it from the rooftops. But knowing I was so early, I was so protective—even with my friends.”

The baby girl is due sometime in late May or June, according to Richie Grainge’s sign reveal (it’s a Gemini! Oh, and a girl.), and now that the world knows she’s on her way, Richie Grainge said she’s ready to unleash her take on pregnancy fashion instead of trying to conceal her growing bump.

“Now that we’re announcing it, I have so many ideas,” she said. “I’m not really tapping into maternitywear at all, if anything, I’m just sizing up. I’m also not buying an entirely new wardrobe for this pregnancy. I’ve bought a few pairs of pants in bigger sizes, but I’m wearing my same jackets, and sweaters, and trenches—I’m about to have some fun with it now that I can spread my wings and fly.”

As for the closet staples she’s saved for her sure-to-be well-dressed daughter?

“I have a lot of little bags to pass down,” Richie Grainge said. “I have a lot in mind.”

You probably don’t need reminding, but Jennifer Lopez‘s cut-down-to-there Versace dress went hugely viral in 2000—before going viral was even a thing. Selena Gomez Made This $70 Victoria’s Secret Corset Look Like a Million Bucks

    [ad_1]

There’s nothing rare about Selena Gomez being on our best dressed list, but the singer and beauty mogul is never one to get too comfortable. Her first major appearance this year (aside from all of the award show red carpets) was a wonderful winter-white outfit worn to celebrate the launch of Rare Beauty’s new Find Comfort body collection.

Notably, a key component of the look was a Victoria’s Secret corset. Worn under a sleek Giuseppe di Morabito suit jacket and trousers, the super-structured $70 garment appeared to be comfortable enough for prolonged wear.

So why not borrow a styling trick from Gomez and embrace high-low winter statement dressing? Shop her head-to-toe look below. Or start with the corset, and mix and match your way to creating the complete outfit for a price point that’s a bit less rare for your wardrobe. Accessorize with silver jewelry that can be worn on repeat, and boom: Look at her now.

Every time that Zendaya goes into hiding for a while, her return to the public eye is never subtle, at least not when it comes to her outfit for the occasion. Instead, her reappearance always comes in the most grandeur of fashions, and this time around is no exception.

Apart from a few one-off paparazzi sightings, Zendaya’s been pretty off the grid lately, but she broke this trend this morning when she arrived at the Schiaparelli couture show in Paris donning what can only be described as a masterpiece. At the show—alongside her stylist Law Roach, her Euphoria co-star Hunter Schafer, and Jennifer Lopez—the Dune star chose a black, fitted mock-neck top decorated with tiny satin knot details along the sleeves that she paired with a floor-length skirt that featured draped fabric across the waist and a long tail-like train. She added fishnet knee-high socks and a pair of black suede Louboutins.

Inside Emily Blunt’s Bombshell Transformation for the Critics Choice Awards 2024

    [ad_1]

When the Barbenheimer phenomenon vaulted two summer movies to blockbuster glory, it was clear how the films diverged when it came to the trajectories of their female characters. Stereotypical Barbie, played by Margot Robbie in Greta Gerwig’s candy-bright confection, winds up trading the plasticine perfection of her Malibu Dreamhouse for the mixed-bag freedoms of the real world. In the case of Kitty Oppenheimer—wife to the so-called American Prometheus, brought to simmering life by Emily Blunt in Christopher Nolan’s biopic—she is still, in the metaphorical sense, confined to the box. A biologist who winds up relegated to the roles of wife and mother, she remains unfulfilled, “bristling against the constraints of womanhood at that time,” Blunt says in a video about her Oppenheimer performance, which has garnered a raft of best-supporting-actress nominations. Kitty is a “really brilliant brain that kind of went to waste at the ironing board, and she suffered for it.”

Blunt slips into her Giorgio Armani Privé dress with help from stylist Jessica Paster.

If Kitty has the force of an undetonated weapon, what Blunt unleashed at Sunday’s Critics Choice Awards 2024 was pure bombshell—red paillettes glowing like fire under the lights. “We were going for a modern twist on Old Hollywood,” stylist Jessica Paster says by phone, shortly after Blunt decamped for the carpet. (She joined her Oppenheimer cast members onstage to accept the award for best acting ensemble.) “The minute I saw that dress, I knew that I wanted it for Emily. I said, ‘Please put it on hold—I just don’t know for what!’” Such was the coup de foudre sparked last July when the one-shoulder Giorgio Armani Privé look appeared on the runway. “The movie is set in the ’40s and ’50s, and that’s what I love about this silhouette,” Paster says. “More important,” she adds, “it has the femininity, but it’s a very strong dress.”

Much of that magnetism—glamour at its most grounded—is due to Blunt’s personality, funny and cerebral and warm. Another quotient is her bedrock team. “We’re all in tune with each other,” says Paster, speaking about the others in the creative triumvirate: Jenn Streicher on makeup, Laini Reeves on hair. Streicher comes to the phone, tracing their origin story to the 2007 awards season following The Devil Wears Prada. “I had actually been working with her husband, John [Krasinski], and they had just started dating,” the makeup artist recalls. “I was like, ‘Yeah, if you ever need anybody, just let me know.’” The next week, Blunt called up about the SAG Awards. “John always says that she stole me from him,” Streicher says with a laugh.

  • How Jeremy Allen White Got Ready for Another Big Win at the Emmys 2024

How Jeremy Allen White Got Ready for Another Big Win at the Emmys 2024

    [ad_1]

Jeremy Allen White, whose winning streak now includes a best-actor trophy at the Emmys 2024, finally wore the closest thing to chef’s whites on Monday’s red carpet. His custom Armani suit conveyed a gentlemanly polish, every detail just so. The imagined Calvins underneath reverberated in the mind’s eye of his very devoted fan base. And above that pert black bow tie, White modeled his usual cherubic looks, skin youthfully aglow and tendrils coiled at his forehead.

That visage and hair are the purview of KC Fee, the celebrity groomer who reconnected with White for The Bear’s season one premiere and has accompanied his wild ride ever since. Arguably there are similarities between the high-stress environment of a restaurant kitchen and the awards-season gauntlet. “This is something I’ve witnessed with all my clients: It’s an experience nobody knows unless they have to go through it,” Fee says. “There is a lot of wear and tear, and there’s a lot being asked of them. It can be draining, but at the same time, positive, wonderful things are happening.”

That, in microcosm, sums up the scene at White’s house on Monday, where, amid the pre-show swirl of activity, the actor dipped into a state of relaxation. “My thing is I always do a very calming facial massage—doing a lot of still hand-placing on the face, and then working in the products,” says Fee, who used an array of Aesop skin care. First came the Parsley Seed serum, kneaded into the face and neck; the B Triple C gel, designed to help even the complexion, followed. The Seeking Silence hydrator locked in moisture. “Then I go in with some tinted moisturizer and concealer just to correct the skin tone and under-eyes and stuff like that”—an appreciated, if unseen, level of finesse for the camera.

The unwind continues with White’s hair, as Fee multitasks a scalp massage while applying product. “At this point with his hair, I just intuitively feel what it’s doing when I show up and kind of go with it,” she says. “[Tonight] we leaned into the curls he had at the moment.” She singles out RŌZ’s Milk hair serum as a favorite, created by hairstylist Mara Roszak, whose own red-carpet weekend took her from Emma Stone for Critics Choice to Juno Temple for the Emmys. The lightweight leave-in can be cocktailed together with RŌZ’s Santa Lucia styling oil: “That’s what I use in my hair. I swear by them,” adds Fee.

However much White’s own vibe is “super chill,” per the groomer—music playing and candles burning as he prepped for the Emmys—the internet is aflame after the recent Calvin Klein campaign dropped. “It’s hilarious. I have my [working] relationship with him, so when I see all this, it’s kind of like, ‘Okay, this feels weird!’” Fee laughs—a normal response when you catch sight of a colleague in their underwear. For now, with a break before next month’s SAG Awards, Fee will be cheering him on from afar and getting back to her day-to-day, with kids and a soon-to-arrive puppy. “I am the chef in my own life,” Fee says. “Everyone is ‘Yes, Chef’-ing me.”

All the Emmys After-Party Looks You Didn't See

    [ad_1]

We’re only two weeks into the New Year, but we’ve already been treated to dozens and dozens of stellar red carpet looks. The Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards set the bar high, but tonight’s Emmy Awards rose to the challenge. I particularly loved Ayo Edebiri in Louis Vuitton and Camila Morrone in Versace.

But the night didn’t end there. HBO, Apple TV+, and The Walt Disney Company all hosted celeb-filled after-parties attended by Natasha Lyonne, Eiza Gonzalez, Lizzy Caplan, Este Haim, and more. Below, I rounded up all the must-see photos from the Emmys after-parties.

When styled right, a person’s hair can be their greatest accessory.

Abbott Elementary actor Chris Perfetti attended the 2023 Emmys in Los Angeles on Monday, January 15, looking dapper in a navy blue double breasted suit and artfully gelled hair.

The suit in question was designed by BMC Studio and featured two front pockets, a white button-down shirt with black buttons and a black bow tie. Perfetti, 35, accessorized the classic look with a pair of black patent leather Louboutin dress shoes and a silver diamond-shaped Neil Lane brooch.

Arguably the most intriguing part about Perfetti’s look was not his clothing, but his hair. The actor wore his brown locks parted to the side and meticulously gelled into a swooping zigzag shape on the right side of his head.

  • Velvet Brings Out the Softer Side of Fashion on Emmys 2024 Red Carpet

Velvet Brings Out the Softer Side of Fashion on Emmys 2024 Red Carpet

    [ad_1]

Some stars made their fashion statement on the Emmys 2024 red carpet with bold color choices, like the many who opted for fiery red ensembles at Monday’s awards show, while others leaned into texture to make their mark.

Velvet emerged as a major fashion trend at the Emmys 2024, honoring the best in television from the 2023 season after months of delays. The fabric lends dimension and richness to any look, and Emmy attendees across genres took advantage, including many men adding it as an accent to their looks, not to be left out of the fun. Ted Lasso’s Jason Sudeikis, Juno Temple, and Cristo Fernández were all team velvet, with Sudeikis and Fernández rocking velvet blazers alongside Temple’s column skirt. Christina Applegate made an emotional appearance presenting the night’s first award while wearing a red velvet gown, and The White Lotus’s Meghann Fahy wowed in a custom Giorgio Armani Privé red silk and velvet gown of her own. Christina Ricci opted for classic black and a plunging neckline for her dress, and Elizabeth Debicki put her plunge in the back, contrasting the high neckline of her deep maroon gown with a dramatic rearview. First-time attendee Ronald Gladden, the only nonactor on the surreal Jury Duty, was also found guilty of rocking a stylish velvet look with his full suit.

Ahead, take a look at all of our favorite velvet looks from the Emmys 2024. And for more from the carpet, see all the looks here and our best-dressed list here.

I Zoomed In on Every Emmys Celeb Jewelry Look—See All the Jaw-Dropping Moments

I don’t know about you, but if there’s one thing I love more than fashion during award season, it’s the jewels that come along with it. If you’re a fan of oversize brooches, Real Housewives–sized diamonds, and anything sparkly, get ready: The 2024 Emmy Awards feel like the Super Bowl of the award-season jewelry scene.

Despite the no-necklace agenda that dominated the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, this year’s 75th annual Emmy Awards had stars dripping in their Monday best. Hollywood hasn’t always embraced statement jewelry on red carpets in recent years, instead opting for jaw-dropping ballgowns and sleek suits to make a statement. Tonight, however, it seemed like stylists’ minimalist sartorial visions were thrown out the window: from Selena Gomez’s 55-carat necklace to Sarah Snook’s stunning Cartier pieces, there were plenty of double-take moments and a few jewelry trends we’re already starting to spot this year.

Beauty is always in the details, and by all accounts, the jewels on this year’s Emmys red carpet are the prime example. As the night continues, we’ll be bringing you all of the mind-boggling, swoon-worthy jewelry moments, so stay with us. Scroll down below to see a feast for the eyes.

Waterhouse, who announced her pregnancy on stage at a concert, is attending the award show in support of her Daisy Jones and the Six castmates who are up for awards tonight.
