“Honestly, for me, it really came down to the kids,” Janelle, 54, said during part 1 of the TLC special, which aired on Friday, December 22, while rewatching the season 18 premiere.
After a fan asked Janelle whether she wished she’d “left sooner,” she said that she is happy with her timeline. The former couple were spiritually married for nearly 30 years before Janelle announced their separation in December 2022.
“I would’ve stayed if Kody had stayed the father that he was for my kids for many, many years,” she explained. “But when the relationship with the kids broke down, that cost was no longer a factor.”

Kody, 54, and Janelle share six children — Logan, 29, Maddie, 27, Hunter, 26, Garrison, 25, Gabriel, 21, and Savanah, 18. Ahead of their split, the twosome butted heads over Kody’s treatment of their sons Gabe and Garrison after the kids allegedly disregarded Kody’s strict COVID-19 rules in 2020. As a result, Janelle and her kids didn’t spend the 2021 holiday season with Kody and the rest of the family.

Taylor alleged: “It’s not like they dated. They were just never anything to begin with.” She confessed, “I don’t regret anything. Neither one of them ever claimed to be each other’s boyfriend or girlfriend.”
As Taylor went off to her brother about the dramatic night, Olivia overheard every word from her hotel balcony. Olivia, who was still reeling from Taylor’s dinner mention of Conner — who died in January at age 32 from an accidental fentanyl overdose — stormed over to Taylor’s room.
“Are you f–king stupid?” Olivia asked Taylor after bursting onto her balcony while she was still on the phone. “Talk quieter next time, I’m right next door to you! Dumb f–king bitch.”
Taylor was speechless as Olivia left the room. When she returned to her call with Worth, he tried to calm her down, saying, “You’re not the bad guy.” He even offered to come to Charleston and back her up during all the drama. (Worth died in June at age 36. His cause of death was not publicly shared.)
When the group returned back to Charleston, both Taylor and Olivia called their moms to talk about the blowout fight. While Taylor’s mom advised that she give Olivia “grace” after she just lost her sibling, Olivia’s mom suggested she keep her distance from Taylor.
“It’s foul,” Olivia told her mom after sharing that Taylor claimed she never dated Austen. “I will never look at her the same.”

Kody added: “[In] years to come, if we all become friends, David might be pulling me aside and [going], ‘Dude, this is nuts,’ because he’s complaining about his wife. David, who married Christine in October, shared during his first on-camera appearance that he doesn’t see his wife the same way that Kody does. “He’s definitely wrong [about] her being backstabbing and stuff like. No, she’s not that at all. I don’t see that,” he explained. “And I’m a people person. I can read people. She’s not that way at all. She is really good.”

David joked that Christine can sometimes be “a little clueless about things that [go] on,’ saying, “I’m like, ‘Christine!’ But as far as her being conniving, no.” David, who is the father of eight children, then gave his honest opinion of Kody.
“He wears his emotions on his sleeve,” he said of Christine’s ex, with whom she shares six kids. “Would I be like that? No. He wants you to hear him.”

Christine Reveals She Identifies With Cruella de Vil
Throughout season 18 of Sister Wives, Christine and Kody sat down to discuss their divorce and how they would move forward as exes. The lunch took place after Kody overcame a rough battle with COVID-19, which Christine awkwardly laughed about.
“She’s mocking everything about my pain. I have tripped, I have fallen. This [has] literally unraveled my family and destroyed all of my dreams,” Kody said on Sunday’s tell-all, reflecting on the uncomfortable chat. “And she’s riding off in the sunset to a happier life. And I’m sitting here not picking up the pieces, but just in the place where I’m going, ‘Well, I guess I’ve got to figure out how my life looks.’”
Christine wasn’t apologetic for laughing at Kody during one of his darker times. In fact, she felt free in that moment. “I’ve always loved the Disney villains more than the princesses. I just have. So right there I was like, ‘You know what? I hid so much from you, so much. And I am going to laugh,’” she recalled, revealing her favorite villain is Cruella.
“I was thinking [of] Emma Stone being Cruella in [2021’s Cruella]. And I’m like, ‘Yes, that’s a little bit crazy,’” Christine continued, pointing out that she finally “could just be me” after moving on from Kody.
“Could I just be me sometimes with Kody? No, he didn’t like that. He only wanted me to be positive. He only wanted me to be fun. He only liked the fun little bubbly part of me.” she claimed. “Well, guess what? He doesn’t get that I’m not married to him anymore. I don’t have to be all, ‘Oh, I’m so sorry.’ I didn’t feel good. I’m not going to stuff it [in] anymore.”

Kody Doesn’t Blame Christine for Family Unraveling
Despite their dramatic split, Kody doesn’t think Christine is responsible for “destroying” his bigger family picture. “That’s all my fault for marrying a woman I didn’t love,” Kody confessed. “No, that’s the truth. And she knows that. As hard as I worked at it and dug into it and went [all in on] every devotion that I could have, that still was prevailing for us, it never really worked.”
Following his breakup with Christine, Kody split from second wife Janelle Brown in 2022. His first wife, Meri Brown, confirmed their separation in January, leaving Kody legally married to fourth wife Robyn Brown.
Robyn Wants Permission From Sister Wives to Live Monogamously
Kody was adamant during the tell-all that he “wouldn’t be interested” in adding another sister wife to his family, revealing he’s content with Robyn, 45. “I would have to tell that [new] woman, ‘I will never love you as much as I love her’ because now I know better,” he said.
Meri, 52, confessed that she’s sure Robyn is “very sad” about their plural family falling apart. “I don’t know how it would be being the one left standing,” she said, noting, “If [Kody] loves Robyn so much that he can let go of the three of us, that’s on him, not her.”
Robyn, however, admitted she was conflicted over being in a monogamous relationship with Kody after making a commitment to their plural family. “It’s weird to be loving and respectful to Kody [alone],” she said. “I just don’t know how this works exactly. It’s weird. I feel like it’s disrespectful. That feels disrespectful to be happy with Kody.”
While the show’s host told Robyn that all her sister wives wanted her to be “happy” with Kody, Robyn couldn’t get past the vows she made. “I need an off-camera [chat] to my face [for permission] because I don’t know how [to move on]. It feels like it’s disrespectful to his kids. It feels disrespectful to the commitments that I made,” she explained. “My commitment to them about this family is not broken, and I don’t know how to break it.”

David revealed that when he showed Christine’s dating profile to his daughter, “she thought that I was being catfished,” admitting that he knew who Christine was before their first date. “When I met her, it was just instant,” he recalled. “We would talk for hours and hours. No drama. Believe it or not.”
David sat beside Christine as they watched a scene from Sister Wives in which Christine described her ideal man. “As far as body, the look I want [is] bald, tattoos and driving a motorcycle. That’s the vision,” Christine previously shared.
David, for his part, is bald and has tattoos, one of which is a matching design with Christine that means “new beginnings” in Celtic. “She found out that I used to have a motorcycle and she about fell on the floor,” David said on the tell-all. “I did have one. That was weird, [she manifested me].”

Why Kody Can’t Forgive Christine Just Yet
After watching a clip of Christine telling her children that Kody “wasn’t attracted” to her during their marriage, Kody wasn’t pleased. “That scene bothers me because she’s asking my children to side with her,” he confessed. “Maybe I’m just delusional, but once again, I got a problem with her, kind of set[ting] my kids against me in order to gain favor with her. And that’s what I see happening there.”
Kody continued: “I was attached to her and in the eyes of my children, I was there, and I was with her. She told them that I wasn’t. What she did was wrong and I’m happy for her and her life and that she’s moving forward and that she’s going to find love. I’m happy for that. But I cannot forgive, at least not right now, that she has pit my children against me in a very subtle but real way. That bothers me.”
Meri Is ‘OK’ Not Being Invited to Christine’s Wedding
Part 4 of the season 18 special was taped ahead of Christine and David’s October nuptials. When the wedding took place, Janelle, 54, and her six children, as well as five of Christine’s kids and Meri’s child, Leon, were all in attendance.
Meri was not on the guest list, which was fine with her. “I’m OK with it because a wedding is a very special moment that you don’t want to have any issues they’re not going to want,” Meri shared on the tell-all. “And I would not want to bring that, you know, kind of conflict of emotion into Christine’s wedding. I would not want that for her. I’m truly OK with that.”

Janelle Isn’t Open to a Reconciliation With Kody
“I don’t foresee that we will ever reconcile. I don’t,” Janelle shared about her and Kody’s post-split dynamic. “It would be some sort of, like, magic fairy tale where we all transformed into some sort of different people and that doesn’t happen in real life.”
Janelle noted that friendship is still on the table for the exes. “I still have such high regard for him. And I can remember all the good times, but I don’t want to reconcile,” she added.

In the final few moments of the TLC special, some of the stars dished on their celebrity crushes. “God, I got to think about it. Oh, Gerard Butler is always a go for me,” Janelle revealed, adding that Jason Momoa is also dreamy.

Meri described her ideal partner as “tall,” before sharing, “I mean, Matthew McConaughey has always been my celebrity crush.” Kody pointed to Sophia Loren as his all-time favorite crush.

Shep Rose finally exploded on Austen Kroll during the newest episode of Southern Charm and admitted he was not cool with Austen kissing his ex-girlfriend Taylor Ann Green.
“You can’t change. That’s the problem here, Shep,” Austen, 36, told Shep, 43, during the Thursday, December 14, episode of the Bravo series after the two pals had been day drinking on a boat in Jamaica. (The episode filmed earlier this year.)

After tiptoeing around the conversation for weeks, Austen finally fessed up to how his hookup with Taylor transpired. “You certainly painted out Taylor Ann to be the victim,” Austen alleged, telling Shep, “She f–king grabbed me, my friend. She came on to me motherf–er. Not the other way around.”

“I would never betray you,” Shep insisted on Thursday’s episode, claiming that he chose to take the high road after Austen’s actions. “What I’m trying to say is, overwhelming I’ve been gracious and kind to a guy who hooked up with my f–king girlfriend a month after we broke up.”
Austen argued that Shep told him it was “all good” so he was “just taking your lead” and moving forward with their friendship. “You don’t give a f–k about anyone except for yourself,” Shep claimed. When Austen asked, “Do you really believe that?” Shep responded, “When it comes to women, yes.”

Shep and Austen left the room at a standstill, and Shep later told the cameras that Austen’s inability to tell him the truth earlier is what bugged him. “Right after the Austen and Taylor thing, Austen and I spent three weeks in Australia together. He didn’t say a word,” Shep said during a confessional. “Do you have any concept of friendship? Loyalty? [Does] that enter into your brain at any moment?”

Once back at the vacation house, Sam expressed her frustration over Malia seemingly hitting on her now-boyfriend right in front of her eyes. Sam and Kory started dating in summer 2022 while filming season 7 of Summer House. When Kory began shooting Winter House season 3 in March, the pair had yet to define their relationship.
“Gal pal better stop touching my man. She loves getting tackled by Kory, doesn’t she?” Sam asked Summer House costar Danielle Olivera. “It’s just reading a little desperate.”

Sam defended her actions, telling Malia that before she arrived there were stories on the internet saying, “Malia and Kory are flirting all over each other,” which made her antenna go up. The Feher Agency founder confessed that after seeing Malia and Kory “tacking each other” she realized, “It’s not some internet bulls–t. It’s happening.”
Malia claimed that “everyone” thought Kory was “fair game” when he came into the house because he “made it very clear he’s in a situationship,” but she insisted she wasn’t hitting on him. Malia then alleged that Sam “came hard against” her friendship with Kory after only being in town for 20 minutes. Sam clapped back saying she saw Malia “on his body” within those first few minutes, which was not OK. “Oh, this is not good. F–k,” Kory said while watching the argument from the kitchen.

I’m in love with a woman that I left because I was too much a piece of s–t to manage the relationship,’” he confessed, adding that he had “demons” to fight after Christine, 51, walked away from their union.
“[There was] a lot of devil, a lot of temptation, which would be destructive of my relationship with Robyn,” he recalled. “So I dealt with a lot of anger and she would get frustrated. My anger was a turn off. It was scary.”

Meri Claims Kody Didn’t ‘Respect’ Her as a ‘Human Being’ Pre-Split
During season 18, which filmed in 2022 and aired this fall, Meri and Kody finally decided to part ways after years of turmoil. Meri explained in the tell-all that she realized that Kody valued his relationship with Robyn more than any other romance when he reminded Robyn about their covenant and seemingly revealed that it was stronger than his and Meri’s dynamic.

Meri acknowledged that Kody didn’t feel like she was his “wife anymore, even though we made covenants, and nothing has happened to break them at that point,” claiming she deserved to hear it from him — and not on an episode of Sister Wives. “I understand that’s how you feel about me but have the respect for me as a human being to tell me to my face. And he didn’t,” she added.
Kody responded by arguing, “That covenant doesn’t include the dissolution of my soul or personality. That relationship does not work in a marriage for me. It’s that simple. I don’t care about the covenant if you can’t get through that, then it’s broken.”

“We’ve never had as many problems as we’re having right now in our marriage,” Robyn revealed. “He’s suspicious of anybody being disloyal to him. His suspicion is about women in general.”
Robyn explained that after going through his divorce from Christine, Kody became more “cautious” and “suspicious” of all women. “I said, ‘I feel like you’re lining up all the women [and] I’m there with them and you’re, you know, shooting them all down,’” she said. “And that’s not fair. Just because you’re having some issues with other women in your life, or a woman or whatever, doesn’t mean that we’re all bad.”

Christine Admits She Doesn’t ‘Trust’ Robyn
When asked to “name a reason” she’s not friends with Robyn, Christine replied, “Well, I don’t trust her.” She explained, “I think she says one thing but does another. How can you say you want the whole big family picture, but then do all these separate things with Kody? How can you say you want the whole big family picture when he’s over at your house all the time?”
That lack of trust has made Christine not want to maintain a relationship with her former sister wife. “I don’t want to sit here and blame Robyn, but I’m not going to be her friend because I don’t believe her,” she said. “But I’m not going to blame her for everything falling apart. I think we probably all have something to do with that.”
Meri also opened up about not trusting her ex-sister wives, claiming, “They don’t have my back.” After clarifying that Robyn does have her back, Meri admitted that she and Robyn are no longer as close as they once were.
“My relationship with Robyn, like, that’s something that she and I are working on and trying to figure out and navigate because it is different,” she said. “You know, as much as I think we would like to say, ‘No, it’s not [different],’ it is because now I’m friends with my ex-husband’s wife and I’m emotionally not 100 percent there yet.”

Robyn Claims Her Kids Were Mocked After Christmas 2021 Fallout
Viewers learned during season 18 that Janelle, 54, and Christine’s kids had a falling out with Robyn and her children while trying to organize a gift exchange for Christmas 2021. After Robyn allegedly inserted herself into the plans, Janelle and Robyn’s kids pulled back. Robyn claimed the kids even started to be mean toward her own children.
“[My kids] started trying to express themselves and the other kids started mocking them and dismissing them and it made them feel very ganged up on,” Robyn alleged on Sunday. “What had happened was my kids came to me and they said, ‘We don’t feel emotionally safe to be a part of this gift exchange anymore.’”
Christine recalled Robyn telling the group that she and Kody had decided their kids weren’t going to do the gift exchange at all after the dramatic fight. “[My kids] were devastated and they were like, ‘What does that mean? I thought those were our siblings,’” Christine claimed. “And they’re like, ‘Why can’t we just move past this and be siblings?’”
Janelle had a similar recollection of the drama, saying, “All of a sudden [Robyn] comes back with, ‘Well, I’ve talked to your dad, and we’re just going to do our thing separate,’” she recalled. “And so my kids were like, ‘Our dad, like, our dad? You mean the father of us all?’”
Robyn insisted that her children “really wanted to belong” and alleged that some of Kody’s other kids told them “they didn’t belong and they weren’t part of the family and things like that.”

Looking back, Meri confessed that she thinks the family “could’ve done it better” when it came to integrating Robyn and her three kids from a prior relationship into their brood. “I think that some people felt like this was forced on them, like they didn’t have an opinion,” Meri said.
Janelle, meanwhile, claimed that the group “didn’t take the time to listen to our own children” before Robyn married Kody in 2014.
“We just kind of told them to just accept these kids. We really hurried and kind of put it together without really taking everybody’s temperature,” Janelle said, claiming, “They were being told to, you know, sit down and shut up and accept this family being merged in. I feel like maybe we should’ve taken some time.”

Christine Reveals Difference Between David Woolley and Kody
Christine gushed over her then-fiancé during the tell-all, revealing they met on an online dating site. “The night that I signed up for it, there was this picture and he has these eyes and I’m like, ‘I want to be looked at with those eyes with a look of love at him for the rest of my life,’” she recalled.

When asked to name the biggest difference between Woolley, whom she married in October, and Kody, Christine said it comes down to love. “The first thing I realized was that David loves me. He loves me, and I feel so loved. But with that comes a confidence that I can just be me,” she said. “There’s no strings attached to it. Nothing. I don’t have to do anything to earn his love. … It’s just always there.”

“I think I get Kody pretty well. Like, I feel like I understand him,” Robyn, 45, said on the Sunday, December 3, episode of the Sister Wives season 18 tell-all, which is part of the multi-episode reunion.
Robyn noted that she thinks Kody Brown’s three exes, Christine, 51, Janelle, 54, and Meri Brown, all “have the capacity” to “speak Kody,” as Meri, 52, put it on the show. “He could be misunderstood very easily because he says everything that’s in his head. Most people filter it. He doesn’t,” Robyn said of her husband, 54. “But I think that it’s hard for other people to understand.”
Christine and Janelle, however, think they understand their former husband just fine. (Christine and Kody split in November 2021, while Janelle confirmed in December 2022 that she and Kody had been “separated for several months.”)
“Robyn says that she can speak Kody and I’m like, ‘Bulls–t,’” Christine said in Sunday’s episode. “I have known Kody for … I met him when I was 18. I’ve known Kody for a long time, and I can actually read Kody pretty well. And I can speak Kody well, too.”
Christine, who shares six children with the patriarch, claimed that Robyn “convinced all of us that she could speak Kody and that she would mediate our relationships.” She alleged that Robyn made all the wives feel like “she needed to be there in the relationship” because “she can speak Kody and we can’t.”
Janelle revealed she felt the same way as Christine about Robyn being the Kody whisperer. “I’m like, ‘Well, I don’t know if I really need someone to translate for me. We’ve been married a long time. We did OK without you,’” Janelle confessed. “I think I speak Kody. But she likes to position herself as like, ‘I speak Kody.’”
Janelle further claimed that Robyn has even pulled that line on her six children. “That one does bug me. ‘I speak Kody.’ Well, Kody can speak for himself. He’s a grown ass man,” Janelle quipped.

“There was definitely physical compatibility,” Janelle told host Sukanya Krishnan, noting that sex was part of her connection with Kody. “I’m not someone who goes around blabbing about that. I’ll hint at it. Everything was very good in that department.”

Wives Claim They Had to ‘Earn’ Kody’s Love
Janelle reflected on her relationship with Kody throughout their nearly 30-year union, claiming, “For him, it became about, ‘I needed to coparent. I needed to be less independent.’ I needed to do all these things in order to earn that relationship. And I’m like, ‘No, I don’t need to earn a relationship.’”
Christine recalled a similar experience with Kody before their 2021 split. “I always felt like I needed to do something to earn love or earn acceptance, or I had to do something a certain way and I didn’t even realize how much stress I was under,” she alleged. “Kody had really specific things that he liked. And when he came over, I’d want to [say], ‘Sure, let’s go ahead and cook the kind of dinner that you like or make sure the house is cleaned a certain way.’ I just wanted him to be comfortable in my home.”

Meri, who confirmed her split from Kody in January after more than 30 years together, noted that her ex was particular about many things. “He would ask me to do things and ask me to be a certain way or ask me to fix the situation or ask me to share some information with him or whatever, all these things to be able to fix our relationship,” she explained. “And I did every one of the things that he asked me to. And then it just wasn’t good enough. … You’re asking if loyalty was enough? And it wasn’t for him.”

Kody Says He Will ‘Always Love’ Meri
“I told her I loved her, and I chose to love her, and I chose to be romantic,” Kody said of his union with Meri. “She thinks I was madly head over heels over and it was not that experience for me. But I was always a life affirming person. I would always affirm what I wanted. And so I told her and did everything I could to love her, and she thinks we were mad about each other, and we acted that [way]. We played that out.”
Kody noted that they did “have a very romantic experience” at the beginning of their marriage but acknowledged that “there was a lot of dysfunction” over the years.
Elsewhere in the episode, he claimed, “I will always love her. I can’t be in love with her. It’s not safe for me. … Make up any bulls–t you want, but I’m telling you, I’m not going to sit here and drive the bus over her because this is sad. It’s heartbreaking. It just didn’t work.”
Ultimately, Kody confessed that anything he says will be like “ripping that wound back open” for Meri, and he doesn’t want that. “It’s like I love her and want her to have a happy life, but I don’t think [she] and I can functionally be in a relationship of marriage,” he concluded.

Meri Shares the Full Wedding Ring Story
Us Weekly previously shared an exclusive sneak peek of Christine revealing that Kody melted down his 1990 wedding band from Meri shortly after Robyn joined the family in 2010. In the clip, Meri revealed she was “frustrated” that Christine told viewers such an intimate memory without permission.
During Sunday’s episode, Meri reluctantly detailed the full story of what Kody told her when he decided to stop wearing his first wedding ring. “He didn’t think that it was fair that I had [a] claim on him. And so his way of [changing] that was to melt down [the ring],” she recalled. “The wedding ring that was a symbol … of, like, our marriage and our commitment. And he melted it down.”

Meri got choked up while recalling the heartbreaking act. “Who’s to say that he didn’t just melt down our whole relationship in that moment? Symbolically, that’s what he did to me,” she continued. “Because I remember asking him, ‘If you’re not going to wear it, can I just have it? Can I keep it?’ [He said], ‘Oh, no. I melted it down. I didn’t want you to have any claim on me.’ It was a very, very painful situation.”
Robyn, for her part, claimed that Kody melting his ring from Meri had nothing to do with her joining the family. “No, he had done that before I came along OK. It wasn’t when I came in the family,” she insisted. “It was way before that because he wasn’t wearing a wedding ring when I met him.”

After Kody melted down his first wedding band, his then-wives gifted him a Claddagh ring. The Claddagh is a Celtic symbol of love, loyalty and friendship and was intended to be an “heirloom” passed to their daughters, Janelle exclusively told Us in November, noting that all the wives wore one as well.
Throughout season 18, Meri noticed that Kody was wearing another new band, which she assumed was from Robyn. “It was way nicer and [I] went, ‘That’s cool, I want that,’” Kody said on the tell-all, explaining how he found his current ring. “And my wedding ring was on and some things happened [in the family] and I went, ‘Those relationships are over.’ And I went like this [and took it off]. I’m done.”

Janelle Brown is embracing single life after her separation from Kody Brown — and she doesn’t want a new relationship anytime soon.
“First of all, I’m not interested in dating at all. I’m not even interested. I’m not looking,” Janelle, 54, said during the Sunday, November 12, episode of Sister Wives. “I don’t even look at guys or men. It’s just blah. It’s too much work. I don’t want to do that.”
She further explained: “I’m not going to be hanging out where lots of single men are or whatever. Definitely, [I’m] sure as hell not doing that online dating thing. I don’t get the whole swiping thing. I don’t get that.”

He has effectively become the multiverse itself, the gatekeeper of all hero’s journeys past, present, and future.
Loki’s 12th and potentially final episode is the culmination of more than a decade of the Asgardian’s appearances in the MCU. It’s at once a satisfying conclusion for Marvel’s flagship TV series and a bittersweet ending for one of its most tragic and beloved characters. He used this new superpower to return to the TVA, moments before the Temporal Loom’s destruction, as he tried to understand what they could have done differently to prevent the disaster. When O.B. suggested that they took too long to even attempt to fix the Loom, Loki entered a time loop of his own making, trying again and again to speed up their process just enough for their mission to succeed. Loki had played with time loops for much of the second season, but with Loki’s emergent mastery of time, the finale takes this narrative device a step further as he creates his own Groundhog Day.
For the beginning of “Glorious Purpose,” Loki retraces his steps over the course of the second season to see how every action can be executed faster, spending literal centuries this way to achieve an optimal sequencing, much to the confusion of his allies. (At one point, Mobius even pulls him aside and asks, “What the shit are you doing?!”) But when they finally succeed in expanding the capacity of the Loom to account for the growing number of branches, they realize their efforts—and lifetimes of Loki’s work—were all for nothing. “The Loom will never be able to accommodate for an infinitely growing multiverse,” Victor Timely explains. And so what starts as a tour through the greatest hits of Season 2 soon extends to the first season, as Loki finally understands that the only way to prevent the destruction of the Loom and the TVA is to return to the moment when Sylvie unlocked the true potential of the multiverse, and stop her from killing He Who Remains.
At the Citadel at the End of Time, Loki finds himself in another futile cycle, trying and failing to save He Who Remains from getting stabbed by Sylvie in each attempt. Only when the TVA’s mastermind pulls Loki out of it, using his advanced time-twisting TemPad to freeze Sylvie in place, does the full extent of Loki’s impossible predicament begin to take shape. He Who Remains paved the road for Loki and Sylvie to find him at the End of Time at the end of the first season, and here, the villain reveals to Loki that everything that has happened since then—from his death to Loki’s time slipping—has all proceeded as he anticipated. All along, the Temporal Loom was just a fail-safe, designed to protect the Sacred Timeline from the inevitable multiversal war and nothing more. Despite Sylvie’s best efforts, free will was never a possibility. “Make the hard choice,” He Who Remains tells Loki. “Break the Loom and you cause a war that kills us all. Game over. Or, kill her, and we protect what we can.”
Beginning with this conversation with He Who Remains, Loki skips backward and forward through time to figure out what he must do, seeking counsel as he comes up with the words to rewrite the story of the entire multiverse. It’s a clever way of revisiting some of the most critical junctures in the series to display how far Loki has come, while also providing the chance for him to have one last chat with the show’s most important characters. At this point, Loki has learned how to transport his body through time and space, and he’s grown powerful enough to dictate time for those around him—much like HWR’s Time Twister. Though it seems as if Loki could return to any moment in the past, with Mobius, he chooses one of their very first conversations, when he was just learning about the existence of the TVA in the series premiere.
Loki picks a moment in time when he was still in restraints and when Mobius was no more than a TVA analyst trying to figure out what made a Loki tick. In some ways, that choice makes this version of Mobius more objective; he has yet to learn about all the lies and deceptions that the TVA was built on, and is still a faithful servant to an organization that prunes every variant and branching timeline without exception.
As the duo sit across from each other in the TVA’s time theater, they decide to skip the rewatch of Loki’s life. Mobius instead tells him a story about an incident involving a pair of Hunters, a thinly-veiled anecdote about himself. Mobius recounts how this Hunter once “lost sight of the big picture,” as he failed to prune a variant because he was just a little boy. Thanks to his hesitation, a couple of Hunters died in the process, and matters would have been even worse if his partner, Ravonna, hadn’t stepped in to intervene. “Most purpose is more burden than glory,” Mobius explains.
By now, it seems clear that Loki’s only option is to kill Sylvie. As Mobius’s story helps frame it, it is the burden that Loki must choose. And so Loki makes one final stop, finding Sylvie at A.D. Doug’s Pasadena workshop from last week’s “Science/Fiction” to tell his multiversal counterpart of the unfortunate reality. For one last time, they debate the need for the TVA, the choice between dying with freedom or living under unjust rule, and their positions of unparalleled power over the lives of everyone in every universe. Sylvie helps him recognize that protecting the Sacred Timeline isn’t enough; for all that she has preached about the necessity of free will, her position finally breaks through to Loki. “Who are you to decide we can’t die fighting?” Sylvie asks him.
Instead of returning to the End of Time, Loki goes back to the Temporal Core, to those familiar final moments before the Loom gets destroyed and the multiverse begins to decay. Rather than playing within HWR’s range of rules, though, Loki chooses his own path. He takes one last look at his friends before setting off to be forever alone, accepting the fate he was most afraid of. “I know what I want,” he says to Sylvie and Mobius. “I know what kind of god I need to be … for you. For all of us.”
The final climactic scene of Loki is a stunning visual sequence backed by an epic score from composer Natalie Holt, whose finest work in the series arrives near the end of this finale. As Loki replaces Victor on the gangway leading to the Loom, his TVA attire disintegrates due to the room’s temporal radiation, with his magic producing an iconic green costume in its place to match his new unofficial title as the God of Stories. A horned helmet manifests on his head, bearing a similar black-and-gold aesthetic to He Who Remains’s Citadel and technology. Loki destroys the Loom, dispersing the branches into the void before him as they begin to decompose. He proceeds to grab these vine-like threads, whole universes crumbling in the palms of his hands, and pulls them together through a portal to the End of Time. And as Loki wraps himself in the branches of the multiverse, imbuing them with his magic all the while, he sits on a solitary throne at his own Citadel, creating a new type of Loom that’s better suited for an Asgardian god: Yggdrasil, the World’s Tree.

The 12th episode of Loki serves as the second-season finale, but it’s also something of a creation myth. So much of this season was built on the themes of ouroboros, a snake eating its own tail in an endless cycle of life, death, and rebirth. And as Loki travels from one end of the series to its beginning, two episodes that share the title of “Glorious Purpose,” these paradoxes of time and infinity start to apply to the TV show at large. Was Loki the one who was responsible for pulling his friends—Mobius, B-15, O.B., and Casey—out of their lives to begin with? Was it Loki who created the TVA?
“Glorious Purpose” is the last chapter of a story that finds Loki sacrificing his desires to become a divine being with all the power one could ever dream of, and yet no one to enjoy it with. He has claimed his throne at the End of Time, a purpose of all burden, and no glory. Loki never actually declares its protagonist as the God of Stories, as he becomes in the comics, but it gives him the same fate, on the series’ own terms. Loki has now established a new multiverse for the rest of the MCU to live and grow in, one that is more alive and dynamic than the Sacred Timeline was ever designed to be.
The Epilogue
“Glorious Purpose” effectively ends with Loki restructuring the multiverse into a new type of World’s Tree. But rather than leaving the episode on something of a cliff-hanger, Loki tacks on a few brief scenes to show what happens in the aftermath of the Asgardian’s sacrifice. When Loki destroyed the Loom and took sole responsibility for managing an infinitely-growing multiverse, he all but ended any need for the TVA to continue existing as it had. But in its place, he has allowed a new organization to grow, find a new purpose, and do things a little differently this time.
O.B. has returned to the TVA to reassume his position as its tech expert, rebooting Miss Minutes—who will hopefully not try to kill them all this time—and writing a second edition of the TVA guidebook, with Victor Timely sharing an author credit. Casey and B-15 are both back as well and have received more power in what appears to be a more democratic restructuring of the TVA’s leadership: When they return to the War Room, it isn’t filled with a handful of judges or generals sitting in to debate among themselves, but one that is packed with new faces and more voices to reflect the shift in the organization’s mission and values. One interaction between B-15 and Mobius reveals that at least part of the TVA’s new goal is to monitor the other variants of He Who Remains and prevent the multiversal war from happening.
(In Mobius’s report, he cites an incident with a variant in a 616-adjacent realm that was handled. He’s referring to Kang the Conqueror and the events of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is thankfully the one time that that movie ever really came up this entire season.)
As for Ravonna Renslayer, whose fate had all been forgotten by Loki since she was pruned in Episode 4, we see her waking up in the Void. Just as Loki did in Season 1, Ravonna now finds herself in an unfamiliar world that exists out of time, facing down the realm’s guardian, the trans-temporal purple entity known as Alioth. It isn’t clear whether this is the end of the line for the former TVA judge or a tease that her story isn’t done quite yet; a shot of a pyramid and a Sphinx could be suggesting a potential connection between her and another Kang variant who appeared at the end of Quantumania, the time-traveling pharaoh known as Rama-Tut.
Meanwhile, the adult Victor Timely is nowhere to be seen. However, we see a young version of him back in Chicago. “Glorious Purpose” returns to that moment when he received his TVA guidebook in “1893,” except when Victor turns around to look at his windowsill, he sees that nothing is there—just the curtain blowing in the wind. In this new reality, Timely’s future is never altered, and instead of being put on a path that could lead him to become the next He Who Remains, the boy simply turns back to focus on making his candles.
Finally, the episode ends with two of the show’s most important characters behind Loki: Mobius and Sylvie. After Sylvie chewed out Mobius in “Heart of the TVA” for never even bothering to look into his past life on the Sacred Timeline, Mobius decides it’s time to leave the TVA and see what he’s been protecting all of these years. With Sylvie at his side, he watches from a distance as his variant counterpart, Don, plays with his two sons on the lawn in front of their home. “Where you gonna go?” he asks her, only to receive a carefree shrug in response.
“You?” she asks.
“I might just wait here for a little bit,” Mobius replies. “Let time pass.”
Sylvie leaves through a Time Door and Mobius is left alone, watching the distant life that he once had. It’s a wonderfully simple moment, as Mobius stands there in blissful peace, with just a tinge of sadness knowing that the family he’s watching is not his. It’s all the more devastating as the camera zooms back out to reveal that Loki is right there watching with him, from another place, at another time, taking solace in the fact that his sacrifice was not in vain. What’s in store for either Mobius or Sylvie in the future is, for once, completely unknown. And that’s the beauty of it.
What’s Next for Loki?
For Loki, the God of Stories doesn’t exactly get a happy ending. But as he watches his friends continue on in their lives with the freedom of choice they’d never had, the episode ends with Loki looking on with a tearful smile, suggesting that it was all worth it.
After all of Loki’s dastardly deeds during his time in the MCU, the Asgardian has finally become a god whom Thor, Odin, and Frigga would be proud of—making it all the more tragic that none of them are around to see him become the person they always hoped he’d become. While Marvel has yet to announce whether there will be a third season of Loki, this certainly feels like it’s the end. Any alternative would be a mistake, for as good as the series has been. Though Season 2 had its ups and downs, it returned Loki to the pinnacle of MCU TV, rivaled only by the lone season of 2021’s WandaVision. With two tremendous season finales, though, Loki has achieved what few of Marvel Studios’ movies or TV series have ever been able to, providing satisfying conclusions to a character’s story that wasn’t whittled down by a messy CGI spectacle or outsized concerns for promoting the next project coming down the pipeline. Loki’s character arc fully realizes his journey throughout the years, and he now holds a position of power in the MCU that not only allows the Multiverse Saga to continue, but also invests it with greater meaning, knowing that the Asgardian is the force that binds it all together.
As head writer Eric Martin sees it, the story of Loki has come to an end—at least as far as this series goes. “We approached this as like two halves of a book,” Martin recently told CinemaBlend. “Season 1, first half. Season 2, we close the book on Loki and the TVA. Where it goes beyond that, I don’t know. I just wanted to tell a full and complete story across those two seasons.”
However, in an interview with Variety, executive producer Kevin Wright shared a different perspective on the character’s future, citing that “the hope” is for Marvel to one day reunite Loki with his brother Thor for the first time since 2018’s Infinity War. “The sun shining on Loki and Thor once again has always been the priority of the story we’re telling,” Wright said. “But for that meeting to really be fulfilling, we have to get Loki to a certain place emotionally. I think that’s been the goal of these two seasons.”
It’s a bit jarring to read the Loki producer saying that the “priority” of Loki is to essentially promote another MCU project, but hey, this is still Marvel Studios, after all. What’s in store for the former God of Mischief, his new responsibility to the MCU’s multiverse, and what Marvel will do about its Jonathan Majors–Kang the Conqueror situation can be dissected another day. For now, it’s time to appreciate a Marvel series that gave its title character a proper ending.
“Faith and I knew that our parting at the mansion represented no closing for either of us,” Gerry, 72, told Sherri Shepherd on Sherri during an interview set to air on Friday, November 10. “She’s just a genuine good heart. She’s warm, loving. In the hug, we still told each other we loved each other, and that’s just the way it is.”
Gerry made an emotional decision during the Thursday, November 9, episode, when he sent home Faith, 60, following their hometown date. The elimination was particularly shocking for viewers as both Gerry and Faith declared their love for each other the week prior. (Leslie Fhima and Theresa Nist are Gerry’s final two contestants.)
“To try so hard and then have it not work is just devastating,” Faith said in her confessional after the elimination, holding back tears. Gerry told Faith it was a “joy” getting to know her before they said their goodbyes.
“Right now, I’m numb. It’s going to be a while before I figure it out. If I ever figure it out,” Faith said. “I feel like we connected on a level where I was ready to marry the dude. I wanted so much more for me. I wanted so? much more for my kids. … Maybe it’s just not in the cards for me.”

“I knew in my head what I wanted to do, but that didn’t make executing that decision any easier,” he explained. “What you saw on my face and my behavior wasn’t indecision by any means. It was the inability to find a way to be the least painful to someone in delivering that news.”
Faith, for her part, was brought to the hot seat during the Women Tell All portion of Thursday’s Golden Bachelor episode where she reacted to the “gut-wrenching” elimination — and was reunited with Gerry for the first time. While they both got emotional, Faith thanked Gerry for showing her that she was able to find love again.

Gerry explained that it was important he and Faith had a reunion in order to get “some closure,” during his Deadline interview.
“We had expressed feelings for each other. And to have had that relationship end so abruptly is really difficult. I’m sure it was more difficult for her than it was for me, and I had a really hard time with it. So we were able to hug for a long time,” he told the publication. “We cried together. But I feel like both of us — we got to a point where we were OK with it. As she was walking off the stage to leave, I got her attention. This is one of those memories that I’ll keep with me, probably, forever. I asked for one more hug, and we, again, hugged for a long time.”

Last week’s episode of Loki ended with the biggest cliff-hanger of the season. After Loki and his friends at the TVA failed to repair the Temporal Loom in time, the device was torn apart, emitting a blinding light in the process that soon consumed everything in its path. In “Science/Fiction,” Loki emerges from that light to find himself alone at the TVA, with no trace of anyone else left behind. To make matters worse, he begins to slip in time again, with his body apt to disappear and reappear elsewhere at any moment.
With a little bit of help, Loki soon turns his time-slipping problem into a solution that might just save his friends and everyone else, in every timeline. “Science/Fiction” is one of the strongest episodes of the second season, a character-driven departure that slows the show’s recent frenetic pacing and gives the series a chance to reset in myriad ways ahead of next week’s finale. Loki has been moving so fast lately that some of its characters have been lost in the mix, but the penultimate episode takes stock of where they are in their journeys and even answers some questions that have lingered since the very beginning of the series. Perhaps above all else, the fans have finally gotten what they wanted: Mobius on a Jet Ski.

In the fifth episode of the first season, Loki left the TVA behind to travel to the Void, introducing a strange new setting that explained the true nature of the organization’s pruning methods. This season’s fifth episode, “Science/Fiction,” transports the audience not to a bold new world, but rather to the past lives of Loki’s friends at the TVA, with Loki again serving as our guide. Mobius, for one, is revealed to be a man named Don who’s living on a branched timeline in Cleveland in 2022. He’s a single father of two children and a salesman of Jet Skis and other action sports equipment. (But mainly Jet Skis, of course.) The most important friend who Loki reunites with, though, proves to be Ouroboros, whom Loki finds on another branched timeline in Pasadena, California, in 1994.
In O.B.’s original timeline, he’s actually a struggling science-fiction writer named A.D. Doug who happens to also be a scientist teaching theoretical physics at Caltech. His love for science fiction means that he not only immediately believes Loki’s nonsensical story about time travel and the TVA, but is also able to get up to speed hilariously quickly to help Loki make sense of the perplexing situation he’s found himself in with this seemingly random time-slipping phenomenon.
“It isn’t random, because you keep ending up around exactly the people you’re looking for,” A.D. speculates. “And it’s evolving, because you’re not just slipping in time, you’re also moving around in space. It’s like you’re a better version of one of those TemPads.”
Like some sort of time-travel guru, A.D. helps Loki turn his time-slipping dilemma into an asset that can be used to their advantage. That process begins with Loki identifying the reason it’s happening to him in the first place. “With science, it’s all ‘what’ and ‘how,’” A.D. continues. “But with fiction, it’s ‘why.’ So why do you need to do this?”
“Why do I need to do this? I’ll tell you why,” Loki replies. “Because if I can’t save the TVA from being destroyed, there will be nothing to protect against what’s coming.”
This framework of “fiction” and stories proves to be the throughline for the entire episode, and the question of “why” turns out to be a crucial step in Loki eventually mastering his time slipping. But this mastery doesn’t come easily. Loki ends up slipping in time again after he gives a copy of the TVA guidebook to A.D. and then reappears at Mobius’s home (or, rather, Don’s home). As Loki struggles to explain to Don the bizarre circumstances of the threat they all face, A.D. emerges with a newly-built TemPad, the construction of which required him to make some unfortunate sacrifices:

It took 19 months, the dissolution of his marriage, and the loss of his job, but A.D. was able to build his world’s first time machine, providing Loki with the tool he needs to get the TVA band back together. Loki proceeds to recruit B-15 and Casey to the TVA’s cause, failing only when it comes to Sylvie, the one person other than Loki who actually remembers what happened at the TVA. The God of Mischief is left rudderless after having a little heart-to-heart with Sylvie at a bar in Broxton, Oklahoma, and just for a moment, Loki gives up on saving the TVA.
It isn’t until Sylvie returns from a spaghettified Broxton that Loki is vindicated in his quest to bring everyone back to the TVA. Soon, A.D.’s workshop receives the spaghetti treatment as well, and Loki finally manifests his ability to control his time slipping, reversing the catastrophic events just enough to revive his friends and explain his breakthrough. “It’s not about where, when, or why,” Loki says to the group. “It’s about who. I can rewrite the story.”
“Science/Fiction” ends with Loki slipping back in time and space to return to the TVA, before the Loom was ever destroyed. He’s given himself a second chance to save the TVA and the dying branches of the multiverse, and with this new ability at his disposal, he might be able to do it. Loki continues to play around with time loops in Season 2, with time slipping reemerging just ahead of the finale. With this discovery transforming Loki into something of a human TemPad, saving the TVA could be just the beginning of what he’s capable of changing.
Past Lives
“Science/Fiction” works so well in part because of the extra time it affords some of the key players in Season 2. As Loki gives us glimpses into the past lives of every member of Team Loki, we can see reflections of the characters they become in the TVA, even after their individual histories and idiosyncrasies are stripped away.
The first character we’re reintroduced to is Casey, in the form of a man named Frank in 1962 San Francisco who’s escaping prison. More specifically, Casey is revealed to be none other than Frank Morris, one of three real-life inmates who escaped Alcatraz in June 1962 after placing papier-mâché heads in their beds, breaking out through ventilation ducts and utility corridors, and using an inflatable raft to navigate their way off of the island. As in the Season 1 flashback that revealed Loki to be D.B. Cooper, the series puts a playful twist on a strange moment in history, adding a bit of science fiction to flesh out some of the unexplained details surrounding the story. Casey’s origins are a bit of an anomaly, in that we don’t see too much of this crafty Frank Mason character in the man we’re familiar with at the TVA, but perhaps that’s unsurprising given how recently Eugene Cordero has emerged as a more prominent member of the cast. (There is, however, a little callback to Season 1 as Frank mentions the prospect of them getting gutted like fish, an analogy that Casey couldn’t wrap his head around when Loki threatened him with it in the pilot.)
As for B-15’s past life, we learn that she was a doctor in New York City in 2012. (That’s certainly an interesting time to be living in New York in the history of the MCU, but the fact that she doesn’t seem to recognize the God of Mischief makes it seem as if the Battle of New York hasn’t happened in this timeline.) The conversations between Loki and Dr. Willis are brief, but in a scene that focuses on the doctor and one of her young patients, we see the same sort of caring and compassionate individual that B-15 has become in Season 2. She has proved to be absolutely terrible at crisis management at the TVA, but her driving motivation to save lives remains the same.
The alternate versions of Mobius and O.B. take on larger roles in “Science/Fiction” than the other supporting TVA members, and their previously-hidden histories can be seen even more clearly in their lives at the TVA. Don’s obsession with Jet Skis has obviously shown through in Mobius, but more enlightening than anything else is the sudden introduction of Don’s two sons. Earlier in the season, “Breaking Brad” teased the mystery of Mobius’s previous life on the Sacred Timeline, and in Mobius’s fierce objection to discovering his history, Loki revealed a more vulnerable side to a typically nonchalant guy who enjoys the simple pleasures of life and cares about the TVA more than anything else. Although “Science/Fiction” illuminates where Mobius’s personality traits come from, it also shows the responsibility and care that he has for his kids, who in another lifetime were everything to him.
(As for O.B., the parallels between his two selves are almost too seamless, with A.D. wasting no time in reclaiming the role as the group’s invaluable tech genius. Production designer Kasra Farahani and his team also had some fun reimagining O.B.’s workshop at the TVA as A.D.’s workspace in Pasadena, as the two locations echo each other across time and space.)
The fact that so much of these characters’ lives stays intact in the jump between realities to their new existences at the TVA complicates what we’ve thought to this point about how everything works at the TVA. Now that Loki has seen each of his companion’s histories, we have to wonder what he’ll do with this newfound information. And more importantly, how will someone like Mobius react if and when he discovers the truth about the life he’s been actively refusing to investigate?
What Makes a Loki Tick?
The driving question in Season 1 was “what makes a Loki tick?” As Mobius recruited the God of Mischief to hunt down another Loki variant, this question came up again and again, as Loki and Sylvie redefined what they were believed to be capable of. “Science/Fiction” takes some much-needed time to reevaluate where both Lokis stand in this regard, and how the latest multiversal events have impacted the people they’ve become.
In Broxton, Sylvie shows a more compassionate side of her character that’s been missing all season, as Sophia Di Martino finally gets the chance to do more than just yell about the need to destroy the TVA or He Who Remains. And for once, Loki is placed in a position where someone else helps him recognize the emotions that are blinding him to the reality of the situation, as Sylvie pushes him to uncover his true motives for bringing everyone back to the TVA. “I want my friends back,” Loki admits. “I don’t want to be alone.”
“See, we’re both selfish,” Sylvie replies. “I know this is hard, but your friends are back where they belong.”
“But without them, where do I belong?” Loki asks.
“We’re all writing our own stories now,” Sylvie says. “Go write yours.”
While Loki’s takeaway—to just give up on the mission—ultimately proves to be the wrong one, the truth of why he’s doing all of this is enlightening nonetheless. The Asgardian’s desire to be loved and accepted was one of the key developments for his character in Season 1. His continued evolution into a full-fledged hero this season has been a bit rushed, but here we see that some of his selfish nature—a character trait that has existed in him since he first appeared in Thor—is still intact, even if it’s ultimately in service of the worthy cause of defending the multiverse. Loki’s overall development seems more well-rounded as we see shadows of his former self shine through while he learns to navigate the complexities of his emotions and relationships.
With this bar conversation and a subsequent scene that depicts Sylvie’s routine of visiting the local record store in Broxton, Loki belatedly dedicates some space to further exploring how and why Sylvie has relinquished any duty to the multiverse in favor of finding peace in the freedom of choice that she’s never had. As Sylvie’s friend Lyle gets spaghettified while Sylvie vibes to the Velvet Underground, we witness the simple life she’s always dreamed of get torn apart before her eyes. It’s a heartbreaking moment reminiscent of the dusty aftermath of the snap in Avengers: Infinity War, and it serves as a reminder of how tragic a figure Sylvie has always been.
The God of Stories
Loki has been known by many names. The God of Mischief. The Trickster of Asgard. The Prince of Lies. In the comics, he also takes on a unique title that stands out from the rest of them: the God of Stories.
This transformation comes within the pages of Loki: Agent of Asgard, a series that started in 2014 and was written by Al Ewing and illustrated by Lee Garbett. In Agent of Asgard, Loki gains the very meta ability to use his magic to manipulate narratives, time, and the fabric of reality. In a very fourth-wall-breaking sort of way, he can then wield the power of stories themselves, rewriting them however he chooses.

These ideas emerge in a major way in “Science/Fiction,” with Loki even vowing to “rewrite the story” as he rewinds the season’s narrative back to before the TVA’s destruction. In the final moments of the episode, just as Loki discovers this new, all-powerful ability, Sylvie’s voice can be heard amid Loki’s disintegrating surroundings. “Do you think that what makes a Loki a Loki is the fact that we’re destined to lose?” she asks.
It’s a question that Sylvie raised in Season 1, and an idea that was repeated by other Loki variants whom the God of Mischief encountered in the Void. Loki has been determined to change that narrative, just as Sylvie has sacrificed just about everything in a quest for free will. And now Loki actually has the ability to control and manipulate time like never before, paving the way for him to become the God of Stories.
There are still plenty of unanswered questions leading into next week’s season finale, including the fates of Miss Minutes, Ravonna Renslayer, Victor Timely, and the rest of He Who Remains’s variants. Now that Loki has gained potentially limitless power, the series will soon test just how much the reformed villain has changed.
Austen Kroll found himself in the hot seat on Southern Charm after his ex-girlfriend Olivia Flowers accidentally left her bra at his place and his friends found out.
“I actually had a bit of a day with Olivia,” Austen, 36, confided in BFF Craig Conover during the Thursday, November 2, episode of the Bravo series. “We met up in the morning for coffee. Just to talk. Then we went to lunch.”
Austen revealed that Olivia, 31, came over later that evening for a movie night but stayed on the other side of the couch. “We watched three quarters of our favorite rom-com,” he said before dropping a bombshell. “Then, guess who left her f–king bra on my little pouf?”

The King’s Calling Brewing founder confirmed that it was Olivia who left the article of clothing but swore they weren’t intimate. “If we would have hooked up, I would have told you,” Austen told Craig, 34.
While Austen agreed not to tell anyone about the incident — because it’s a “private thing” — the secret didn’t stay buried. Rod Razavi, who was casually seeing Olivia at the time of filming, told pal Jarett “JT” Thomas that his close friend spotted the bra at Austen’s shortly after they knew Olivia had been there.
Rod decided to confront Austen about Bra-gate while the boys were all up at Shep Rose’s family home in North Carolina. “I’m just going to be blunt. I’ve heard that Olivia and you hung out on Thursday,” Rod said before explaining that he knew “there was a bra on the ottoman” when she left.
“Nothing happened. We cuddled a little bit. She gave me a big ol’ hug, she kissed me on the chest and she left,” Austen claimed. “I’m not trying to get her back because I would just hurt her again.”
Rod, for his part, confessed on Thursday’s episode that he wasn’t “boyfriend-girlfriend” with Olivia but revealed they had a “real” chemistry, which is why he was upset about the bra. “I’m not against you. I don’t want to see it,” Austen said, insisting, “I’m not trying to sabotage it.”
While Austen and Rod had an awkward chat on the deck, Craig came to his best friend’s defense as JT continued to slam Austen inside for “getting away with murder in this friend group.”

Craig noted that “Olivia is just as guilty as Austen is,” asserting, “Women aren’t these helpless f–king sex creatures.” JT, however, was unnerved that Austen has been allegedly “hurting people” time and again.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are good sports about losing money from Wrexham Football Club — at least they’re trying to be.
“Let’s talk about how much money we’re losing,” McElhenney, 46, joked during an episode of Welcome to Wrexham, which premiered on Tuesday, October 31. Reynolds, 47, reiterated his cochairman’s sentiment.
Humphrey Ker, the executive director of Wrexham AFC, initially didn’t share a number, telling the duo it was “loads” of money.

Harvey explained that if the duo were to sell Wrexham AFC at this moment in time they would get “far more” than £10 million.
“I think that’s the actual realistic metric,” he explained. McElhenney replied, “Let’s just say we’re in it for the rest of our lives. At what point do I get paid?”
Harvey went on to say that Wrexham’s promotion to a higher league would allow them to make money. (Spoiler alert — Wrexham AFC was promoted to the English Football League in April for the first time in 15 years.)
“The value that’s coming from the global appeal we’ve been able to create is going to offset those additional costs that we’ve created,” Harvey continued. “The biggest thing that’s going to change on promotion … people can see the value of Welcome to Wrexham. They can see the value of the profile that’s being built. That’s when the additional sponsorship revenue can be generated.”
Elsewhere in the episode, fans watched as Wrexham went up against their biggest rival, Notts County.
After a game full of “edge-of-your-seat s—t” — per Reynolds — Wrexham beat Notts County 3 to 2.
“Big man just earned his wage,” McElhenney told the camera after goaltender Ben Foster saved the team’s win by blocking a penalty kick. Reynolds added, “We’re the best in the league.”
They also both agreed to “kiss Ben Foster on the mouth.”

The Wrexham cochairmen also noted that watching the win was the “greatest moment” of their entire lives. (“Aside from my family, which I’m required to say,” Reynolds joked.)
Reynolds and McElhenney were also awarded the Freedom of the Borough Award from the Wrexham council. The It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star noted that this was an “incredible honor” when accepting the award.
