    Y’all, the drama between Ray J and the Kardashians just took another wild turn. After years of headlines, lawsuits, and social media chatter, Ray J is back in the legal spotlight. And this time, he’s coming for both Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Things are heating up, and fans are going to want to stick around to see what goes down.

    Ray J Says Kardashians Pushed Fake Story For Years

    According to TMZ, Ray claims the 2003 NSFW tape with Kim was completely consensual and “wasn’t leaked against [her] will.” He says that he and Kim “consensually shot a sex tape in 2003, and then in 2006 they discussed releasing it,” adding that Kim “insisted Kris be in charge of the release and commercial exploitation of the film.” Ray’s attorney, Howard King, says the Kardashians “spent two decades peddling the false story that the sex tape was leaked against her will.”

    Accusations, Settlements, And Millions

    The documents also allege that on ‘The Kardashians,’ Kim, Kris, and Ye falsely accused Ray of sexual assault, releasing revenge porn, and extortion. Ray claims he initially took legal action, and eventually, Kim, Kris, and their production company settled with him for $6 million. Now, Ray says he’s entitled to $1 million in damages under that agreement, since it barred them all from speaking on the tape, and the Kardashians allegedly violated that order. The singer is reportedly seeking $1 million in damages.

    And y’all, this definitely isn’t the first time Ray J came for their necks. Back in May 2025, he started making public allegations against Kim and Kris, even suggesting they could be targets for RICO charges. By late September, he was doubling down, teasing a “crazy” case, talking about “feds…coming,” and even comparing it to Diddy’s situation — proving he’s been on this type of time for months.

    Then, in October, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian sued Ray for defamation, per The Shade Room.

    “After realizing he is losing the [defamation] case and losing his way, this disjointed rambling distraction is not intimidating anyone. Ray J will lose this frivolous case, too,” the Kardashians’ lawyer, Alex Spiro, reportedly told the press in response to Ray’s latest legal action.

    Of Course, The TL Weighed In…

    Unsurprisingly, The Shade Room comment section was on fire after the post dropped. Some fans were quick to say Brandy needs to step in and take his phone away, while others thought Ray J’s actions seemed fair given the drama. Of course, there were also plenty of voices insisting he’s “just bored,” proving the TL never holds back.

    The “Boy Is Mine” tour just delivered an unexpected, heart-melting moment that proved blood is thicker than beef—or even branding blunders. During the Atlanta stop of the tour, Brandy surprised the audience by bringing out her brother, Ray J, resulting in an emotional audience response that silenced all the chatter about family drama.

    The relationship between Brandy and Ray J has been a subject of intense public scrutiny for years. As BOSSIP reported, Ray J has often been candid about feeling like an “embarrassment” to the Norwood family due to his high-profile public antics and business ventures that often “serve the algorithm.” During an appearance on Evelyn Lozada’s Drop The Lo podcast, Ray J stated, “I just feel like I’m an embarrassment,” to his family, particularly his sister. He admitted that while he loves his sister, he believes his family doesn’t “understand the method to his madness.”

    One public breaking point occurred after Ray J ignored Brandy’s careful vocal prep plan for their Verzuz battle. Brandy publicly blasted him on social media, writing, “Bro, Pops told me that you didn’t drink none of the tea I made for you. He also told me that you were talking all day when I specifically said NO TALKING and only drink water and the special tea I made for you at 4 in the freaking morning.     Brandy And Ray J Share A Hug That Silenced The Rumors

    Despite the perceived tension and public feuds, their reunion in Atlanta was all love. According to TheShadeRoom, during the concert, Monica, Brandy’s collaborator on the tour, kicked off the show by bringing out a star-studded squad that included Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, Tank, Missy Elliott, and even her daughter. But the highlight that brought the house down was the sibling moment. The outlet reported that Brandy joked that the only person she absolutely had to bring out was Ray J. As a result, the crowd instantly lost it.

    However, Ray J never performed. Instead, he made an appearance on stage and embraced his sister. Ray J closed his eyes to soak in the love, and the sibling duo left the stage together. Ray J wore black pants, a white long-sleeve, black vest, and a baseball cap.

    This moment of unity also offers a contrast to Ray J’s ambitious, albeit chaotic, professional ideas. Ray J once got checked by Monica for suggesting she should open for Brandy on a joint tour. Monica publicly shut down the speculation, telling Ray J to “stop speaking on me in public! A private conversation would both be necessary and respectful!”

Furthermore, clips obtained by TSR show Ray taking over the mic while rocking a red hat with cat ears, baggy black pants, and large butter-colored boots. Additionally, Ray was also shirtless.

    Ray J has made some surprising claims about his supposed involvement with the feds.

    The reality star claims that he’s working with the federal government to build a RICO case against his ex-girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, and her mother, Kris Jenner.

    “The federal RICO I’m about to drop on Kris and Kim is about to be crazy,” the singer told Chrisean Rock during a recent livestream circulating on X, per Page Six. “I’m talking about, I’m on the news every day. I’m gonna say a lot of s**t. Anybody that is cool with Kim, they need to tell her now, the feds is coming. There’s nothing I can do about it.”

    Ray J went on to claim, “It’s worse than Diddy.”

    RICO investigations fall under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, typically utilized to prosecute drug cartels and mob crimes. Back in July, Sean “Diddy” Combs was found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution, but was acquitted on more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges in a highly-publicized federal trial.

    Despite the “Sexy Can I” singer’s assertion that the Kardashian-Jenner case is even worse than Combs’, he provided no further information about his claims.

    Surprisingly enough, this isn’t the first time Ray J has referenced these exact allegations. In May, he hinted at a potential case against The Kardashians stars while discussing the then-pending RICO charges against Diddy.

    “If you told me that the Kardashians were being charged for racketeering, I might believe it,” he said in TMZ Presents: United States V. Sean Combs: Inside the Diddy Trial.

    Despite making these claims multiple times now, neither Kim Kardashian nor Kris Jenner has commented on Ray J’s claims.

    On Thursday, August 22, Ray J took to Instagram to share a screen recording of a video initially shared by Instagram user @realitytv_blogspot. Furthermore, the clip features Mena yelling emphatically at her phone and is titled, “Woah! Erica Mena drops the ‘N-word’ while Dragging Ray J, PRINCESS LOVE, BRANDY…”

    “Talk your s**t lil n***a,” Mena says, apparently while streaming on Instagram Live. “I probably wasn’t supposed to say that… Stop playing with me. All of y’all motherf******s. I’m not on that…”

    Ray J added a few words on top of the video of Mena: “HERE YOU GO BEING RACIST AGAIN! YOU STILL AIN’T LEARNED TO BE RESPECTFUL TO THE CULTURE”

    Additionally, he added a caption where he shared a direct message for the reality star.

    “Why call me the N word! @ericamena – after the racist Monkey comment you made about black people, you just felt like you could take it to the next level and call me a N***a huh?? SMH,” he wrote. “…when you make mistakes and take a L – you suppose to Learn from them. This is not cool”

    Before concluding his message, Ray J noted that Mena’s ex-husband and father of her youngest children, Safaree, is his friend. Additionally, he stated that he doesn’t “get into [it]” with his friend’s partners or former partners.

    “we shooting our own shows and living life to the fullest!! – God bless you… why we got you so mad? Damn!…” he wrote.

    Erica Mena Previously Came Under Fire For A Comment She Made Toward Spice

    As The Shade Room previously reported, Mena came under heavy backlash in August 2023. At the time, a ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ episode was aired, which showed Mena referring to her castmate, Spice, as a “blue monkey” during a heated exchange.

    In the weeks that followed, Spice spoke out about the altercation and let fans know that she wasn’t letting Mena’s “opinion” of her devalue her.

    “…Someone’s opinion of me does not value who I am and not because someone thinks something of me, that doesn’t mean that’s who I am,” Spice explained during an interview with Forbes.

    During the conversation, Spice also addressed Mena’s apparent diss of dark-skinned women.

    “I’ve always reminded my melanated women how beautiful they are, to love themselves [for] who they are [so] someone can’t come and say a few words,” she said. “…That doesn’t define me. I know who I am.”

    In September of that year, Mena publicly apologized for her comment about Spice, per The Shade Room. Additionally, she alleged that her words were not “racially driven.”

    “I deeply regret my insensitive comment and want to humbly apologize to anybody I hurt or offended by my thoughtlessness,” she told TMZ at the time. “My choice of words was wrong, and I take full responsibility for what I said. I am committed to listening to the voices of those affected and will work toward making amends. As a woman of color and the mother of two black children, I want to make it clear that my use of that word was not in any way racially driven.”

    On Sunday, April 21, a YouTube video was published which seemed to feature clips from a recent Instagram Live of Ray J’s. In the video, the singer showed up-close shots of his face.

    The right side seemed to feature a logo of his reality TV network, Tronix, and the name of his son, Epik. Meanwhile, the left side of his face featured three stars and the name of his daughter, Melody.

    “Yep, there you go.I look real unattractive now,” he said to the camera, before pointing at the tattoos of his kids’ names. “Melody, Epik… tattoos on my face. That means I can’t do no more movies, I can’t host no TV shows… It’s all in for me now, n***a. I ain’t wearing no makeup, you feel me?”

    From there, Ray J revealed why he tatted his face.

    “I did this on purpose just ’cause I don’t want another call time,” he explained. “I only want to make the call time. And what better way to do that then decorating your body with what you believe in… I love ’em… I just don’t ever — and wouldn’t even know how to give a f**k. I don’t care.”

    The Singer Speaks Out After Sparking Public Concern

    Then, on Tuesday, April 23, Instagram account @livebitez published footage from another Instagram Live of Ray J’s. In the clip, he appeared to be in a casino while he spoke to a woman on the stream.

    “You see the tatt on my face, right?” Ray J said. “Everybody trippin’, they saying that I’m like, going through some kind of like — I don’t know. I had a few doctors call me and DM me and out of respect, I’m like, ‘Thank you.’ I appreciate the love because, you know, if you worried about me then… please let me know.”

    The singer then concluded his stance.

    “If I’m falling by the wayside. If I’m like, if I’m going left like, help me go right,” he continued. “And Imma listen, straight up.”

    In response, the women told him that she thinks his face tattoos are fire.

    “Yeah, I’m about to go get — I’m bout to go finish… some right now,” Ray J replied. “And Imma really go big today. But this s**t — once, I’m done with them, then I think everybody might f**k with them. But if they don’t then, you don’t gotta look at me.”

    On Tuesday, April 23, Ray J returned to his Instagram Story to share additional close-up shots of his face tattoos. The photos appeared to show that he added a “P” to the left side of his forehead.

    Additionally, the singer captioned the photos with a few cryptic messages.

    “DARK TIMES AGAIN 4 YOU OPPS… DESTROY AND REBUILD… PRAY 4 WHATS NEXT… WISH YOU THE BEST… EVIL WILL BE DONE TO THE BAD WHO CHOSE TO DO EVIL TO THE GOOD… POWER – PROFESSIONAL….”

    A Brief Recap Of Recent Events Surrounding The ‘One Wish’ Singer

    As The Shade Room previously reported, Ray J most recently made headlines in February when his estranged wife, Princess Love, revealed they decided to file for divorce. To note, this is the former couple’s fourth time making the filing.

    At the time, Love revealed that despite “reflection, discussion, and counseling” she and Ray J realized their paths have just “diverged.” However, she added that she and the singer were committed to carrying a “positive” co-parenting relationship.

    In March, footage surfaced of Love participating in karaoke with friends and John Boyega. The clip went viral as viewers noticed that Boyega had his arm around Love, per The Shade Room.

    In response, Ray J reacted to the viral video with surprise.

    Earlier this month, the singer reportedly responded to Love’s divorce filing with his custody request regarding their two kids, per The Shade Room. Then, earlier this week, the ‘One Wish’ singer also responded after photos of his lavish gifts to Sukihana went viral.
