Manchu Manoj-Bhuma Mounika Reddy Wedding:

Manchu Manoj and Bhuma Mounika Reddy tied the knot on March 4, in presence of their close friends and family members in Hyderabad. Son of veteran actor Mohan Babu, Manoj Manchu was previously married to Pranathi Reddy. They parted ways in October 2019. He is now married to Mounika Reddy, the youngest daughter of former politician Bhuma Naga Reddy.

Allu Arjun teams up with Sandeep Reddy Vanga

Pushpa star Allu Arjun has teamed up with Arjun Reddy director for an untitled film under the film studio and music label, T-Series. The shoot for the same will only kickstart after director Sandeep wraps Prabhas starrer, Spirit. Everything about Allu Arjun and Sandeep’s film has been kept under wraps.

Allu Arjun skips Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan for Pushpa 2

Pinkvilla exclusively confirmed that Allu Arjun is not doing Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan as he totally wants to focus on Pushpa 2. The actor was offered a cameo in Atlee’s directorial Jawan, which also has Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara.

BTS’ Jungkook grooves to RRR’s Naatu Naatu

RRR’s Naatu Naatu song has now left BTS Jungkook aka Jeon Jung-kook too grooving to this Oscar nominee. The singer hosted his Weverse Live session and streamed Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s blockbuster song Naatu Naatu.

Rajinikanth teams up with Jai Bhim director TJ Gnanavel

Rajinikanth has signed a new film with Jai Bhim director TJ Gnanavel, tentatively called, Thalaivar 170. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichandran. The announcement statement read, “the film is “ready for release in 2024.”

South megastar Rajinikanth issued a public notice of copyright infringement over the use of his identity. Legal action would be taken against those who would use Rajinikath’s name or voice without the superstar’s consent. Any brand or a person advertising their brand using the actors’ identity for their benefit would call out for legal action.

Ponniyin Selvan 2 release date out

Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan-I performed amazingly at the box office last year. The makers are now set to release the second installment of the period drama. This week producers Lyca Productions, and Madras Talkies announced that Ponniyin Selvan will release on 28th April 2023. PS 2 will bring the same cast as PS 1.

Varisu and Thunivu OTT release

Varisu and Thunivu released last month, are now set for their big OTT release. Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu will release on streaming giant Netflix on 8th February. On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu will release on Amazon Prime Video on 22nd February 2023.

Rajinikanth follows Amitabh Bachchan; issues public notice of copyright infringement over use of his voice and name | Bollywood Life

Rajinikanth is the megastar of Indian cinema and needs no introduction. He has a great influence on the Indian audience with his aura, stardom, and acting skills. However, the actor is being trolled over the years for his style and people tried to mimic him while brands incorporated his image in advertisements and campaigns. Now, the superstar has issued a legal complaint against those who would use his identity without permission. According to reports, Rajinikanth with the help of his lawyer S. Elambharathi issued a legal notice of copyright infringement to protect his identity from being exploited. This means those misusing the superstar’s name or voice for advertising their brands without taking permission would call out for legal action. He has given a warning to brands who use his identity for their benefit without consent. Well, any such action in the future will pull them to court. The superstar issued a letter that states anyone infringing his personality or celebrity rights would face legal action. Only he has control over the commercial utilization of his personality, name, voice, image, likeness, and other characteristics that or and uniquely identifiable, and also associated with him. Not just that even mimicry or imitation will also be viewed as a violation. Rajinikanth has followed in the footsteps of Bollywood gem Amitabh Bachchan. Earlier, New Delhi High Court had issues that no one can use Big B’s identity likeness such as his image, voice for business interests. Lawyer Harish Salve on behalf of the actor issued a petition against those using his image, voice, and personality traits without his written permission. Well, this is not new, brands tend to use the identity of popular stars to promote their business and mint large sum amount.

On the work front, Rajinikanth aka Thalaivaa will be next seen in a much-awaited film titled Jailer. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar it stars Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. The film will have a special appearance of Drishyam actor Mohanlal.

Kantara EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Rishab Shetty on his recent meeting with Rajinikanth: ‘That was a big fanboy moment’

Rishab Shetty’s Kannada action-thriller Kantara has been garnering praise from all over the world, and recently Rajinikanth also heaped praise on this recently released film. “‘The unknown is more than the known’ no one could have said this better in cinema than @hombalefilms #KantaraMovie you gave me goosebumps @shetty_rishab Rishab hats off to you as a writer, director and actor. Congrats to the whole cast and crew of this masterpiece in Indian cinema,” the superstar actor wrote on Twitter.

Soon after Rishab went and met Rajinikanth. In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, the Kantara actor opened up about this meeting. “I met him and spent almost one hour with him. That was a big fanboy moment for me. We spoke about every scene, how I did it, how I executed them, and about his spiritual journey too. That was a wonderful moment,” says Rishab.

He further adds, “Main bachpan se bahut bada fan hun (I have been a big fan of his ever since I was a child). As a lead actor my first film was Bell Bottom, and I had tried imitating him in that film. In the song sequence, I tried one of his styles. I told him about that, and he laughed about it.”

Being inspired by Dr. Rajkumar

Meanwhile, Rishab says that he wanted to become an actor ever since he was in the sixth standard. “I was involved in folk art, and my interest in the field had developed from then.” He was always inspired by late actor Dr. Rajkumar. “He is the biggest inspiration. I used to see him on TV, and even my mother is a big fan of Dr. Rajkumar. So much so that even when she would be busy with work, and his song would appear on television, she would stop everything and start watching it. I also used to mimic him when I was a child,” Rishab Shetty concludes.

Hansika Motwani gets engaged

Hansika Motwani took to her Instagram and dropped some snippets from her filmy proposal by beau Sohail Kathuria under one of the seven wonders of the world, the Eiffel Tower. The reports suggest that the couple will be getting married in December this year. The nuptials are expected to take place between 2nd and 4th December. However, we still await the final wedding date announcement. According to the reports, the couple were close friends before getting romantically involved with one another and are also partners in a firm.

As soon as she uploaded the post, congratulatory messages started pouring in for the newly engaged couple. Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty reacted to the post with, “Congratulations”, along with a heart and evil eye emoji. Additionally, Khushbu Sundar commented, “Oh wow!! Congratulations my dear.. wishing you the best.”

Matti Kusthi first look poster OUT

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja unveiled the first look poster for the forthcoming sports drama, Matti Kusthi today. The photo features Vishnu Vishal as a star wrestler, gearing up for a big fight. The actor poses in a wrestling attire, flaunting his toned abs.

Made under the direction of Chella Ayyavu, the film is being bankrolled by the production banner RT Teamworks in collaboration with Vishnu Vishal Studioz. With Vishnu Vishal as the protagonist, Aishwarya Lekshmi is playing the leading lady in the film. Set against a rural backdrop, the shooting for Matti Kusthi has been completed and the post-production work for the movie is currently underway

Rajinikanth remembers late Puneeth Rajkumar

Rajinikanth attended the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award function as the Chief Guest in Bengaluru yesterday. The late Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar was posthumously given the Karnataka Ratna Award during the ceremony. Addressing the gathering, the superstar remembered the Power Star with the following words in Kannada, “In Kali Yuga, Appu (Puneeth) is like Markandeya, Prahlada, Nachiketa. He was God’s child. That child lived among us for some time. He played with us and made us laugh. Later, that child went back to God. His aatma (soul) is with us.”

He further disclosed why he could not attend Puneeth’s funeral, “I had undergone an operation and was in the intensive care unit (ICU).” The actor added that even if he had known about Puneeth Rajkumar’s death, he would not have been able to travel given his health condition.

GodFather OTT release date

After ruling over the silver screens, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s political thriller GodFather’ is all set to make its mark on the OTT platform. The much-appreciated project will premiere on Netflix on 19th November. Sharing the news, the streaming giant Tweeted, “Netflix on Wednesday announced the news on its official Instagram page. The post read, “The megastar of Tollywood meets the megastar of Bollywood! #Godfather is coming to Netflix on the 19th of November!(sic)”

Fahadh Faasil- Prithviraj Sukumaran BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Fahadh Faasil, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Tovino Thomas have raised the excitement of movie buffs with their latest social media post. Fahadh Faasil and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be making a big announcement regarding a venture of Tovino Thomas tomorrow on 3rd November. Sharing the news, Tovino Thomas Tweeted, “Tomorrow 6pm! Recently, Tovino Thomas clocked 10 years in the entertainment industry. Marking the occasion, the actor penned a heartfelt note on social media,
