Raising Cane’s will open next month in Rock Hill, marking the chicken finger company’s first location in the Charlotte region. Hiring for more than 150 positions is about to begin.
The new restaurant at 520 John Ross Parkway will open Feb. 24. That’s the former Bob Evans spot on Dave Lyle Boulevard, just off Interstate 77. The new spot is part of the shopping center in front of the Regal Manchester movie theater.
Raising Cane’s offers cooked-to-order chicken fingers and house-made sauce, along with chicken sandwiches, fries, Texas toast and coleslaw. They offer individual combos and tailgate options, up to 100 fingers.
With the Rock Hill opening, Raising Cane’s will give 20 customers free food for a year. The Lucky 20 promotion is a raffle-style drawing that takes place when new stores open. They happen in front of the store just prior to opening, on opening day. There’s no purchase necessary to win.
The Louisiana-based restaurant began in 1996, and soon will surpass 1,000 locations. It is in more than 40 states.

Raising Cane’s, the popular fast-food chain known for its crispy chicken tender meals, is opening a new location on Scenic Highway in Snellville on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Located at 1416 Scenic Hwy N., the doors of the new restaurant will open at 10 a.m., but the grand opening celebrations start earlier with giveaways, surprise guests and a DJ.
“We’re expanding here in Gwinnett County, and Snellville is just one of the communities that’s continuing to grow. With the partnership that we’ve had between Dacula and Buford, we thought it was a great opportunity to continue to expand that throughout the county,” said Jeremy Sheffield, the regional vice president of restaurants for Raising Cane’s. “We’re here for a great relationship with our community, and we know that the people of Snellville value great quality food. We thought that it would be a perfect fit for our next location here in the Peach State.”
The grand opening will feature various giveaways, the first being a drawing where 20 customers aged 13 and older who show up to the restaurant between 7-9 a.m. can win free Cane’s for a year. To show their appreciation for teachers, the first 50 teachers who show their school identification beginning at 4 p.m. will win a free swag bag. The first 100 dine-in customers who purchase a combo will win a commemorative beanie and a free box combo gift card they can cash in during a return visit.
The team will also present a check to Exceptional Futures, a nonprofit organization empowering programs for adults with special needs while supporting parents in their journey of caregiving.

It’ll mark the fifth Georgia location for the chain which operates on the slogan of “One Love.” The menu is a simple combo of what it does best: chicken tenders with a combo of fries, toast, coleslaw, and its Cane’s sauce. The simplicity of the menu and its marketing has drawn a loyal group of customers, especially in Georgia. One example of that loyalty is seen from the line of cars that snake the roads of its Athens location during game days and on a regular weekend.
As for opening a location in the heart of Atlanta? Sheffield said those waiting for the chain to open a restaurant within the city limits will be awarded as they’re currently looking at two sites in Midtown and Buckhead. The Georgia expansion continues with locations planned for McDonough, Conyers and Duluth.
With a new location comes a new community of customers, and Sheffield said first-timers can expect quality food delivered with speed and emphasized by a great culture.
“We have a great culture here, and I think the connection that our crew members have with our customers is second to none. We’re just excited to be here in Snellville.”
The restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to midnight on Sundays-Thursdays and 10-1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Louisiana-style fast food chain will open its new Winter Park outpost at 100 S. Semoran Blvd.
Beloved chicken joint Raising Cane’s expands its Orlando-area reach this week with a long awaited new location.
The Louisiana-style fast food chain will open its new Winter Park outpost at 100 S. Semoran Blvd. on Thursday, Sept. 12.
The restaurant will be Raising Cane’s fourth Central Florida location, all of which opened within the past year. Nearby locations include Lake Nona, Kissimmee and the Dr. Phillips area.
To celebrate, the restaurant will host a grand opening event with entertainment and giveaways. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and local leaders kicks things off at 9 a.m. There will also be an appearance by Orlando City SC mascot Kingston, a check presentation to Aloma Elementary school and a DJ supplying live entertainment.
The first 100 customers who purchase a combo will receive a commemorative hat and Box Combo card, and the first 100 teachers who show school ID will receive a free “swag bag.”
Attendees can also expect a “Lucky 20” drawing, which will award 20 customers (13 and older) free Raising Cane’s for a year. Entries will be accepted from 8 to 9 a.m.

Rapper Post Malone is taking his talents (and an unmistakable sense of style and body art) outside of the music world into his newest foray — fast food.
The artist, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, has teamed up with chicken chain Raising Cane’s to open a one-of-a-kind restaurant near his home in Midvale, Utah — complete with a pink exterior and tattoo-inspired art etched across the building.
The restaurant is donned with mementos from Post’s touring days and career, including a 1974 Ford F250 in the parking lot featured in one of the rapper’s music videos, which will become a permanent fixture of the restaurant.
“It’s a really cool restaurant,” Post told reporters at the ribbon-cutting ceremony last week. “We got like crazy stuff. We put some armor in there, some old stinky outfits that I wore on tour and for events, and they still have the musk on them, and they’re still 100% collectors.”
The “White Iverson” singer even features ping pong games to represent his love for the game.

Custom merchandise is for sale, of course. Menu items include the “Posty Way Combo meal” — four chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries with two orders of the famous Cane’s sauce, two pieces of Texas toast, extra salt and pepper, and an unsweetened iced tea lemonade.
The restaurant was gutted and redesigned after the musician took over, from the bathrooms to the outdoor landscaping.
“It’s really fun to see it come to fruition,” Raising Cane’s CEO Todd Graves said, per local outlet Fox 11. “The idea was to be next level, over the top, to do something that’s never been done before.”

The rapper lives about 20 minutes away in Salt Lake City in a five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home on seven acres. He purchased the house in 2018.
Raising Cane’s currently operates over 600 locations in the U.S., with more than 165 locations in Texas alone.
